Misselwood is AMAZING!! You can't beat the sweeping ocean views, which made for a stunning backdrop for our ceremony. Our guests were absolutely blown away. The team was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the planning process, and our day-of coordinator was an absolute rockstar. The team really knows what they're doing. LOVED every moment of it!
The BEST venue in the area hands down! Absolutely gorgeous from start to finish. We were able to get ready in the hospitality suite in the house, which was very spacious and a great backdrop with the old manor house! Lily, our coordinator, was so helpful in taking my (at some time disorganized) vision and making it better than I ever imagined. You cannot beat the setting with the water in the background and the different locations for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Every single guest said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to! Pictures were amazing! I could go on and on but we were beyond happy with our choice at Misselwood!!

I got married at Misselwood over Memorial Day. I have nothing but great things to say about them!
They are very professional, friendly, on top of EVERYTHING and genuinely care about you. For example, my wedding cake was never delivered so Kelsey one of the event coordinators left the venue an hour before the ceremony to personally buy me a cake to cut with my husband. They are all around great people and it’s such a beautiful venue elegant venue! Definitely check them out, I promise you won’t be disappointed!!

The most beautiful venue on the North Shore!
Not only is Misselwood the most gorgeous venue on the North Shore, they make everything so seamless from Day 1 all the way through your wedding day. Everything was taken care of from the moment we arrived on our wedding day through till the last song. They are above and beyond professional, attentive to detail and kind. Unbelievable service and organization
We primarily worked with Katy with support from Abby day of. Katy was unreal in her attentiveness throughout the entire process but especially day of our wedding. The Misselwood team kept to the schedule, set, moved and even packed up all details for us and kept close eyes on all activity throughout the night. As the bride I think I was asked a question once the entire night otherwise I was a guest at my own party and I loved it! Highly recommend! Your guests will love it and so will you

Great experience!!
Our daughter was recently married at Misselwood. We were extremely pleased with the facility and all of the staff that helped us with the design of the event, as well as how they executed all aspects professionally.
They offered great advice for the day, as well as recommending terrific outside vendors for us to choose from.
The site from the beautiful ocean views, grounds, and the historic house in the background all contributed to our fairy tale day.
I would highly recommend Misselwood.

Incredible Wedding at Misselwood
Our wedding day at Misselwood was genuinely everything we ever imagined it could be and more. We are so incredibly grateful to everyone there that helped out our big day together! Claudine and Jamie did a stellar job, we’re always so patient, kind and clear answering all of my questions, and understanding, organized, and thoughtful when it came to rescheduling our big day a year out due to the pandemic. A Perfect Day
I attended a wedding at Misselwood in 2006 that always stuck with me. When it came time to choose our own wedding venue, I knew I had to look at Misselwood. From the moment we arrived for our tour, I knew that no other venue would compare.
Misselwood's ocean views are absolutely stunning. My guests could not stop telling us how beautiful everything was and taking photos by the ocean all night. The staff was attentive and patient and made sure the wedding day was seamless and that we didn't have to worry about anything.
We also booked the Misselwood house for the bridal party that morning. They gave us a great breakfast and lunch, complete with champagne, and we were able to do hair and makeup right on site without any stress. It was definitely worth the added cost.
I honestly could not imagine our wedding day taking place anywhere else, and I hope someone I know decides to get married at Misselwood someday so that I can go back and experience it all again.

Unique seaside venue
I could wax poetic all day not only about how beautiful Misselwood's entire event space is but also how helpful and friendly the team is as well. As a COVID couple, our plans were initially derailed and Claudine, Jamie and the team were so supportive throughout the process and made what would be a very stressful experience more easy to handle. The house is lovely, the grounds even more so. A great duality in country/ seaside.

My husband and I are both Endicott alumni which is how we knew about this amazing venue. From start to finish, Misselwood was absolutely amazing and I would 100% recommend them to any future brides looking for a venue. We were a covid couple and they made postponing our wedding to this year so simple which we are so grateful for! They take care of absolutely everything on your day which made it so stress free. Everyone on the team is super friendly, responsive and organized. They recommended essentially all our other vendors as well! Claudine and Katy are the best! Willing to answer any questions and really going the extra mile to make your day special. Our special day it poured rain, but you wouldn’t have even known based on how much fun we had! If you’re lucky enough to get sunshine you’ll get the most beautiful views, and even with rain and tent is absolutely stunning. Our guests tell us this was the most fun they’re ever had at a wedding and we definitely owe that to the staff at Misselwood. Book your wedding here now, you won’t be disappointed!

Most magical beautiful wedding venue
Misslewood was everything I could have dreamed up for my wedding . The old manor and gardens with the ocean backdrop were magical and wonderful. Felt like being transported back to the great gatsby era of glitz glamour and sophistication. Would get married here 10 times over!!

Absolutely flawless!!
Absolutely phenomenal experience! Claudine booked us back in 2018 for what was supposed to be a 2020 wedding and she made the transition to 2021 absolutely seamless. Jamie was such a calming presence to have in the months leading up to and day of the wedding and we LOVES working with her. Molly and Hallie were absolutely amazing the day of. The food and beverage was delicious and the catering team worked with us on some custom appetizers which were amazing! I cannot say enough good things about Misselwood!

Would get married at Misselwood again in a heartbeat
My husband and I, along with our families and wedding party, could not have been more impressed with Misselwood. The venue itself is breath-taking-- from the ceremony over-looking the ocean to the bistro-lit patio for cocktail hour to the romantic tent. A number of our guests told us that it was the most beautiful/best wedding they had ever been to. The staff at Misselwood leading up to the wedding and day/night-of were responsive, flexible, accommodating, relax, professional, and just so friendly. We had to postpone our 2020 wedding to 2021 due to the pandemic and everyone at Misselwood was SO helpful and compassionate. We would get married there again in a heartbeat!

Stunning Venue
Misselwood is an absolutely stunning wedding venue. All of our guests said to us how our wedding at Misselwood was one of the most beautiful weddings that they had ever been to. Claudine and Jamie did a great job helping keep us organized in the planning process. We also appreciated Claudine’s updates as Covid restrictions and guidelines continued to change in Massachusetts. 20th vow renewal
We had our 20th vow renewal on May 30th, 2021. Claudine Mitchell the Assistant Director, assisted us and planned our small intimate ceremony. Ms Mitchell was involved from beginning to end of our vow renewal. Even though it rained that morning, Ms. Mitchell and her staff quickly set up inside and transformed one of the rooms with beautiful flowers, candles and soft lighting. It was romantic and still had a beautiful view of the water in the back ground. Claudine and her staff went above and beyond. They made sure that everything went off without a hitch despite mother nature having other plans. Misselwood has everything you need for your special day. We will definitely use the venue in the future.

A+ Best location around
Jaime, Claudine and Hailey went above and beyond on our wedding day. Jaime made sure we had everything we needed and I gave her a list of items I wanted placed around the venue and she did it perfectly! She would answer emails promptly and made sure everything was perfect! The venue, food, location and staff were incredible and so glad we could say “I do” at the place we met! The most incredible micro-wedding!
Misselwood made our micro-wedding dreams come true! We were so sad that we had to postpone our initial large wedding, but we could not have been more thrilled with how our "Vows with a View" turned out. We loved our intimate wedding ceremony overlooking the ocean, with a lovely sea breeze and boats crossing in the background. We brought our own chairs and it was very quick and easy set-up. We were blown away by how gorgeous all the family and couple portraits turned out on the Misselwood property- it is a venue truly unlike any other. We cannot wait to return to Misselwood for our postponed large wedding celebration in the future!
Update from wedding reception a year later: Misselwood is the most magical wedding venue. Misselwood accommodated us for a microwedding with a postponed vow renewal & reception one year later. Everything at the venue is stunning, from the natural rolling rock-studded lawns of the property, the view of the ocean with sailboats going by, the beautiful rooms in the historic house, the amazing open-sided tent. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the wedding venue was. Katy and Claudine were so wonderful to work with and were so flexible with our needs. A hurricane was forecast the day of our wedding and I was so appreciative that we were given until an hour before the event to decide whether or not to hold the ceremony outside. Ultimately, the rain cleared and we had the beautiful outdoor wedding we had always dreamed of (although the tent would have been a beautiful alternative). Katy was so incredibly helpful and attentive on the day of. I love how much choice and flexibility you have in planning a wedding at Misselwood (i.e. you can decide about many things as add-ins, there is a choice in caterer, etc)- it gives couples much more control in terms of budgeting, which is very much appreciated. We loved every moment of our wedding day and are so grateful to Misselwood for bringing our dreams to life!

Best Venue Ever!
My husband and I said "I do" in an intimate ceremony with a small gathering of close family and friends at Misselwood in June 2020 (yes, I was a COVID Bride).
The planning began almost two years before the date. When COVID required adjustments to be made, Misselwood staff helped us navigate the changes. They were so flexible and reworked our contracts to achieve what turned out to be the PERFECT day. They worked with us to preserve the details that were most important to us. They communicated regularly, answered our questions (often repeated) patiently, and approached every decision point positively.
I cannot say enough how grateful my family and I are to Misselwood for the work they did to enable us to gather at Misselwood. The mansion and the grounds were breathtaking as always.
I would tell every couple looking for a wedding venue that Misselwood is hands down the BEST venue out there.

So accommodating, and wonderful to work with
We unfortunately had to cancel our wedding due to COVID. I was expecting this to be a really hard process, but they made it seamless. They were supporting us along the way with all the uncertainty we had. Claudine was very responsive and very understanding through this hard time. They definitely care more about doing the right thing and making the client happy then making money. This was so refreshing. Would 100% book your wedding here, it is one of the most gorgeous places to get married in New England.

Amazing, incredible, and unforgettable! We had a dream day thanks to the Misselwood staff. Claudine was welcoming and detailed oriented. She knows the property incredibly well and completely sold us on the venue (not that we needed much convincing, the view speaks for itself). Once Katy took over as our point of contact and day of coordinator I knew we were in good hands! She is immediately responsive, knowledgeable, consistent, and brings so much fun and positivity to the process. Misselwood has such strong relationships with their vendors, bringing on catering was absolutely seamless. Katy made calls to our DJ to ensure they were on the same page and the timing was perfect for our ceremony. She went above and beyond! If I could give more stars, I would. You can't find a better venue!!!
We were absolutely blown away with our venue. It was the only one we looked at, because upon first walking up, the atmosphere took our breath away, the staff was unbelievably helpful, and it checked off every box we were looking for in a venue. We didn't have a wedding planner, so Claudine was our "go-to" and I cannot compliment her enough! She and the rest of the staff made our wedding planning fun and straightforward. As for the actual venue itself, every inch is stunning, and there are SO many wonderful places (especially for photo ops!) the tent is to die for, the ceremony spot overlooking the water is stunning, the tunnel of love, the ivy covered house, everything was top notch and made our wedding day absolutely perfect!! Amazing! Best venue!
Stunning venue! This was the second venue my fiancé (now husband) visited and honestly cancelled every other venue we were planning to visit after this one. We fell in love with it as soon as we laid our eyes on it and then the friendly staff reiterated why we wanted to move forward with the venue. The staff helped every step of the way and were so kind the entire time! My wedding day was honestly peaceful for me because they took care of everything. The wedding itself was perfect in every way and I received so many compliments. The view of the water, the breeze in the tent, the amazing food...I cannot stop relieving the most perfect day! From the second we walked into their office, all up until and through the big day - Claudine Mitchell and the entire crew at Misselwood were dedicated to making this the best day of our lives, and they succeeded. PERFECT venue with the most amazing views
Misselwood exceeded our expectations in every possible way for our wedding. Claudine was amazing at helping us plan every little detail and answering all of our questions we emailed her what felt like everyday! The day of, Darren and Katelyn made sure all of our stuff was set up exactly as we wanted for the ceremony and reception including centerpieces, table cards, etc. It unexpectedly rained for a few minutes during the first look/before the ceremony, and they went above and beyond to wipe down every single ceremony chair so our guests would be comfortable. They coordinated our ceremony so that everything was timed perfectly. We booked the hospitality room (extra $) for one of the bridal parties to get hair and make up done, and the provided food and champagne was a phenomenal touch. The reception also went very smoothly. All of our vendors worked together and I couldn't have asked for things to go better. Food came out at the same time for everyone, and bar service was moving quickly for everyone. The different scenery and views on the property made for the best photo ops ever!!! I seriously could not have imagined the planning or the day of going any better- can't recommend this venue enough!

The PERFECT sea side wedding venue
We got married in August at Misselwood at Endicott College. When I first came across the venue shortly after getting engaged, I immediately knew this was the only place I wanted to get married. It is an absolutely GORGEOUS setting! Everything from the ocean views, to the manicured grounds, patio, and the tent are magical. There is no other venue like it, our guests are still raving about how beautiful the wedding and location was. The team at Misselwood was a pleasure to work with, they are true professionals and were extremely helpful in making sure our wedding day was perfect. Our wedding coordinator Jamie was amazing, she was so helpful and set us at ease every step of the way. The perfect wedding venue!!!

Dream venue and helpful staff!
I can not put in words how perfect my wedding was! The venue itself is breathtaking.
But, the real superstar of my wedding was our day of coordinator. From day one Katie Sweetland made myself, my now husband and family feel like we were in good hands. She was always accessible and willing to help us solve small hiccups that would arise.
I couldn’t recommend Misslewood more!

We got married late June and the day was absolutely perfect! The whole team at Misslewood is amazing to work with from start to finish. During planning they were very organized always responded to emails promptly. On the day of the wedding it was raining and stopped raining just before our ceremony. Jamie was our coordinator and went from the rain plan (ceremony inside the tent) to us having our ceremony outside in 15 minutes! They dried off the seats and nothing missed a beat! As much running around and coordinating as that took for them, it seemed totally relaxed to us and our guests. I am so so so impressed by the team at Misslewood!
I also highly recommend taking advantage of the the bridal suite option, it was so nice to get there early in the morning and have our hair and makeup done there. The food they provided was delicious!

Absolutely stunning venue!! We could not have asked for a more beautiful place to get married. From the moment Claudine explained how my dad and I would walk down the aisle, I knew Misselwood was THE place - I cried! Claudine and the entire team were incredible to work with, always responsive, very helpful and always understanding. They helped the vision come together perfectly. We received so many compliments from our guests! Misselwood had everything we were looking for in a venue (and more) and I cannot recommend it enough!

Misselwood is the best of the best!
Misselwood is the most spectacular location for a wedding! The venue is absolutely stunning. It was the first and only place that we looked at because we knew immediately this was the best of the best. Claudine and Katy were beyond helpful, kind, thoughtful and knowledgeable. They made the entire planning process so easy and fun. Misselwood provides a list of preferred vendors that we were able to meet during one of their vendor bridal shows. We were able to meet and choose all of our vendors in one night! Each vendor we had was absolutely amazing, and helped turn our wedding into a dream come true. Misselwood, the vendors, Claudine, Katy and all the staff at Misselwood are truly amazing. Our guests can’t stop talking about what a wonderful, beautiful and fun time they had. We will always be grateful and thankful for our experience and the people that helped make it happen. Definitely recommend to everyone!! Thank you for the time of our lives!!

Misselwood has everything you would want in a wedding venue: gorgeous scenery, spacious dining, huge dance floor, and the most helpful staff. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of, and it's all thanks to Claudine, Darren, and the rest of the team at Misselwood. They were organized, attentive, and upbeat every step of the way. Our event coordinator, Darren, was so supportive - he kept the night moving in a timely manner, and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Our catering company, Fireside Catering, knew the kitchen and tent, so our dinner was flawless. All of our guests were so impressed by the beautiful ocean view, the big cocktail patio, the classy tent - everything! Hands down the most spectacular wedding venue.

Misselwood was our dream venue!! From the view to the people, it was an absolute pleasure. We visited Misselwood on a rainy day and it was still beautiful. It was the only venue we saw, we fell in love and we booked that day. It is truly a hidden gem. From the time of booking to our wedding day, the staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant during our wedding planning journey. Claudine was helpful and knowledgeable, providing many tips and advice to us from the tour to the final planning appointment. The venue also works closely with many top notch vendors (Off the Vine Catering, C-Zone Entertainment, DesignLight) and their partnership made the planning that much more seamless. Our wedding day went off without a hitch and regardless of the stormy weather we were able to have our ceremony outside once the rain cleared. I can’t say enough about Katy and Emily who kept the day running smoothly and put me and my husband at ease. They communicated effectively with our guests regarding the ceremony plans and made sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of getting ready, during the ceremony and throughout the reception. Katy was extremely helpful with making sure we were both happy and enjoying our reception. Our guests keep telling us what a beautiful wedding we had at Misselwood and how the view was unbelievable. Misselwood highly exceeded our expectations and made our dream wedding a reality! We highly recommend Misselwood to anyone seeking out the most perfect and gorgeous North Shore waterfront venue!!

We had an amazing experience having our wedding at Misselwood. From the moment we took a tour, it was so clear to us how well organized the staff coordinating this venue really are. Claudine was amazing in helping us with booking, making changes, and finalizing day-of plans for the wedding. She was prompt to respond to any and all questions we had, and we had a lot! Or day-of coordinator was Jamie and she was absolutely the sweetest woman who helped ease our nervous jitters. We had a large wedding party to accommodate and she navigated us through the day with ease and patience. We loved our entire experience from start to finish. Our guests couldn’t say enough lovely things about the beauty of the venue. We have no regrets whatsoever about choosing Misselwood for our wedding day!

We had our wedding at Misselwood on 6/2/18 and it was everything we could have dreamed of! Working with Claudine through out the planning process was seamless. She is extremely responsive and great to work with! The Misselwood staff on our wedding day were so polite and accommodating. The venue is beyond gorgeous. The grounds are maintained beautifully and the ocean backdrop can't be beat! We highly recommend getting married at Misselwood, we wish we could do it again!

We had our wedding on 5/27/18. This venue is PERFECTION - in every sense of the word. The entire staff incredible to work with. The grounds impeccable, breathtaking gorgeous. The tent, just stunning. This offers everything you could ever want for an outdoor wedding in New England (with a twist because of the tent that is NOT on grass) It’s literally the triple threat of wedding venues. And to be honest, the price... unbeatable compared to other places that can’t offer you a fraction what Misselwood can. Your guests will be blown away, I promise. If I could get married every day here I would. From start to finish everything was executed perfectly.

We had the most perfect wedding on May 26, 2018. Every experience from working with Claudine and the staff at Misselwood was beyond our expectations. The day was timed down to the minute, planned out and executed with perfection. The venue itself is beautiful, the grounds and tent were in top notch condition. All of our guests have raved over and over again how beautiful our wedding was thanks to the amazing scenery and manicured grounds at Misselwood. Claudine, Hilary, and team were responsive and super helpful throughout the planning and event night. Not only did we have the best night of our lives, but our guests have said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. It's unfair how great this place is: ocean, lawn, house, tent for reception and inclement weather. Claudine (boss) Darren (ceremony and reception lead) and Caitlyn (day-of staff lead for ceremony) were amazing and kept us at ease the entire time. This place makes it all come together and is very familiar with the other vendors (caterer, photographer, officiant). We're already talking about having another big party here, just because, in a few years. The view and service was worth every dollar.

We got married at Misselwood in June, and had both our ceremony and reception there. Choosing a venue is one of the biggest decisions when it comes to wedding planning, especially in terms of cost, so we toured many venues before deciding on Misselwood. While we saw some potential drawbacks at first (house is for getting ready and backdrop only, not as part of the venue; in case of rain everything is held inside tent; cost is a little pricey), at the end of the day we just could not beat that view. It is really breathtaking when you look out over the lawn to the ocean.
The team (mostly Claudine) worked with us on every detail, and their depth of experience was a huge plus. All the little questions I had (how will people know how I'd all the little details arranged inside the tent, etc) were anticipated and taken care of. We felt like we were in great hands leading up to the day, and especially after the rehearsal.
On our wedding day, it poured until right before our 4pm start...the staff was flexible in making the last minute call so we could wipe off the chairs and keep the ceremony out on the lawn--HUGE relief! My husband and I did not have to worry about a thing during the event, and couldn't believe how smoothly everything went. If there were any glitches, we certainly didn't know about them. It was the first time there for almost all of our guests, and they could not stop raving about the view and the grounds.

Our ceremony was an outdoor setting, with the reception in a spacious tent. The ceremony time threatened a thunderstorm and the wedding coordinator, Dan, consulted us frequently as to whether we wanted to change to the tent - we continued outdoors and have beautiful storm-cloud pictures over a gorgeous setting. The ceremony went without a hitch, as did the reception, thanks to Dan's efforts, and his associate Jaz's efforts - which were followup to all of the planning that Claudine had done with us in the months leading up to the event. Attention to detail was exacting, as was accommodation of our wants and styles. I often wondered if I needed a wedding planner, but they reassured me and, in fact, carried out this task beautifully. All parts of the ceremony and wedding proceeded smoothly and at a perfect pace, and there were rave reviews from the guests about the site and the carrying out of the reception. The bride and groom approached afterwards and said the wedding was everything they wanted it to be, and this was in great measure due to the contributions that the Misselwood staff made in their planning with us. I can't imagine a venue staff making the wedding process any smoother or more perfect!

Misselwood is truly the most beautiful and unforgettable setting for a wedding. The panoramic views of the ocean really take your breath away when you approach the back lawn. Misselwood made it easy from the very beginning working back and forth with Donna to the very end having Darrin by our sides all evening, they took care to make the whole experience go smoothly and really helped us to have the wedding of our dreams. The tent, the house, the grounds, it's all just magical and an absolutely perfect place for your wedding. We had our ceremony off site, but the reception was just a blast and all of the guests loved every aspect of it. Misselwood was the dream spot for our July wedding. Our ceremony on the lawn overlooked the ocean and the reception in the tent was elegant and comfortable. What I really loved about the ceremony spot is how the chairs were set up so it seemed very intimate, yet it could hold our nearly 160 guests. All of the people at Misselwood were extremely organized, so I had nothing to worry about the day of the wedding. I couldn't be happier with our decision to get married here!

Misselwood is the most gorgeous location for a wedding. We visited several beach/oceanside venues, but this one really stood out. Everything is located in one place behind stone walls, so it is private, which is difficult to find with an oceanside wedding in this area.
Donna was very responsive to all my emails, which was very important to me during the planning stages. Claudine was very efficient during the rehearsal. Darren and Emily were very organized and upbeat on wedding day. It was pouring rain the first half of the day, but they were very assuring that everything would work out for the ceremony to be outside. The rain stopped long enough for the ceremony to be outdoors and they had everything ready to go without missing a beat.
Everything about Misselwood made our wedding more perfect than we had ever imagined!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience working with Misselwood for our wedding on July 6, 2013. Donna was our event manager. She was very professional, gracious and helpful during the process. She was speedy returning emails and always had answers for our questions.
The venue itself is beautiful - a combination of ocean, garden, tent and an old manor. The property is kept in excellent condition. The staff at Misselwood make your day a breeze by taking care of all the details and coordinating all the vendors - it was so wonderful not to have think about logistics on the big day.
I can not recommend Misselwood enough! They were fantastic to work with and made our wedding day spectacular.

Misselwood is absolutely amazing!!! This was the only venue we looked at and we needed to go no further. We have the most amazing photo's. everywhere you look is a picture opportunity. The ocean background is stunning. The lawns,bushes,flowers ect are beautifully manicured. The staff is amazing. Everyone was very prompt in answering questions and giving advise. Not once did I feel like I was asking a ridiculous question or that I wasn't getting the response I needed. They made the day of the wedding effortless. Almost felt like we had our own personal wedding planner that day. They made it completely stress free.

You could not ask for a more beautiful place than Misselwood to get married! The scenery and views are absolutely stunning. Claudine and Ella were there for us every step of they way. Unfortunately, it started to rain as soon as our lawn ceremony was over. They went above and beyond though to make sure we stayed dry while having pictures taken outside. However, from the time we first visited the venue, the staff at Misselwood was incredibly friendly, helpful, organized, and professional. They answered our questions promptly throughout the year before the wedding. As the wedding approached, they were in close contact with us to make sure that all of the details were taken care of. The cost of Misselwood was higher than most other venues we looked at, but I would say that it was absolutely worth it.
The actual day went off without a hitch. The Misselwood staff had everything set up beautifully and right on time. They met all of the different vendors and guests as they arrived so that we didn't have to think about any of the details on our wedding day -- all day, it felt like things were just magically taken care of, without us having to remember or worry about anything. Throughout the entire process, they treated us, our families, and our guests with the utmost politeness, kindness, and professionalism. We couldn't believe how smoothly everything ran, particularly considering that we didn't know what we were doing and did not hire an outside wedding planner.

I was thrilled with Misselwood. From the moment I saw the venue I was blown away by the view and the service did not disappoint. Donna was my coordinator and she was extremely accommodating to all of my requests and was just so pleasant to work with. Patrick was our day-of coordinator and though I didn't see him much (which is the way it should be, in my opinion) he ran everything completely smoothly behind the scenes and unobtrusively. I am in the events and weddings industry at another Boston venue and I can say that Misselwood has weddings down pat and the venue is GORGEOUS.

Gorgeous. Gorgeous. Gorgeous! That's all that really can be said about Misselwood. In my search for a venue, my only "requirement" was that we needed to be able to see the ocean, because that is our favorite part about living on the North Shore of Massachusetts, and we wanted our guests to get to experience a little bit of that too. We searched high and low all along the coast, but there really is no other wedding venue quite like Misselwood. We lucked out with fantastic weather on our wedding day, and as a result had perfect clear panoramic view of the atlantic ocean as a backdrop to our ceremony. It really was spectacular. The staff at Misselwood was very helpful and helped keep me organized in my frazzled few weeks prior to the wedding. If we had to do the whole thing over again, I truly wouldn't change one thing, and it all started with the venue.

We picked Misselwood because of the sceanery and the location. Even if it is a hot day you get that ocean breeze and it cools everything down. Claudine helped us through the whole thing. We recently got married and we're so happy we chose to have it at Misselwood! Claudine and her staff were extremely organized and had great attention to detail. During the planning stage, we were given clear expectation and instructions, and were prompted and led through each necessary step on the timeline so I never had to worry about whether or not I was missing a form or a payment. On the day of, Jaime was assigned to be my coordinator and she made sure all of my decorations were put up and taken down properly and carried out the timeline perfectly. I was worried that not having a wedding coordinator would make the wedding day stressful for me but Misselwood made sure everything ran smoothly for me. Thank you again Jaime and Claudine!!
Aside from the great staff, the scenery was absolutely beautiful at Misselwood. Our guests continuously came up to us to gush about the beautiful ocean view, the cute cocktail area, and the elegant white tent hosting the reception. It truly was the perfect place to hold a summer, New England wedding!

Misselwood exceeded our expectations! My husband and I were married on their spacious lawn overlooking the ocean and danced the night away in their gorgeous tent (chandeliers, french doors, wooden dance floor and all)! We could not have asked for a more beautiful location for our wedding. The wedding planning staff was also very helpful and knowledgeable, and they were there for us every step of the way. This little gem was just perfect for us and our 130 guests! This was the first and only wedding venue we scouted... The moment we saw it, we knew it was exactly where we wanted to tie the knot!

I worked with Claudine throughout the planing process and she was aways very organized and on top of everything. Darren and Emily were the people that were with me the day of the wedding and they made sure everything went smoothly. The venue is beautiful and I am so glad I chose it!

Misselwood was the first and only venue we visited and we booked on the spot. It was a fantastic experience from that day through our event. Donna was extremely helpful at every step of the way through planning. Creative Catering (Gary) was also fantastic to work with. We have received so many compliments from guests on the venue (view, grounds, etc) and food and even a few inquiries for future couples. I found that Misselwood took care of everything we thought of and more, and if they didn't provide a specific service or have a preferred vendor for it, they knew where to point us. I was a laid back bride who didn't sweat anything small or obsess about details and I didn't need to. I cannot say enough good things about having a wedding here! Thank you to everyone there and future brides: just book it!

The wedding ran smoothly and we have been told over and over again by our guests that it was one of the nicest weddings they have been to. If Misselwood fits within your budget, I don’t think there is a better venue in Massachusetts at this price, book it!

Misselwood is not only a georgeous waterfront venue for a wedding but also the perfect set-up for hosting both the ceremony and the reception. The staff was amazing, friendly, and so helpful. The venue was private and our guests loved touring the beautiful grounds! Can't say enough about this place!

Beautiful Venue and Helpful Staff!
We had our wedding at Misselwood in June of 2020. It was the most magical day we could have imagined.
The venue is absolutely gorgeous. The views alone make it worth having your wedding here. I promise you'll get the most beautiful wedding photos of all time. All of our guests we awed! But not only is it beautiful but the staff is incredibly supportive, organized and helpful. Special shoutout to Claudine, Jamie & Katelyn who helped us so much in the lead up to the big day. Even through COVID, they were sure to keep us updated on the latest requirements, shared options and helped us organize our arrangements to keep our guests safe.
I ended up renting the house for extra time to get ready day of which I also cannot recommend enough! It was great to spend the day with my bridesmaids and have extra time to enjoy the view of the harbor and the house.

The most beautiful waterfront venue!
Our wedding at Misselwood in June 2018 was an absolute dream. Beyond the fact that it is the most gorgeous venue with a breathtaking view, which all of our guests commented on, working with their team was more than we ever could have asked for.
We live outside of Massachusetts, but despite being far away, we never had any doubt that Claudine and her team were working towards our special day, even answering the most random one-off questions when anxiety would strike during the planning process.
On our wedding day, our on-site coordinators (Jamie, Katy, and Hannah) were fantastic. They were so kind and attentive, and really helped everything run smoothly.
Our wedding at Misselwood was everything we could have ever hoped for and more!

We had a wonderful experience at Misselwood! Claudine, Jamie and the rest of the team worked incredibly hard to ensure that everything went as smooth as possible. They were extremely accommodating, responsive and professional throughout the entire process, it was a pleasure to work with them! The grounds were immaculate and our guests raved about our location; you really can't get a better view! Claudine in particular was a wonderful resource throughout the entire planning process, she always made time to take my calls and would give me her honest opinion about additions and details that may or may not be necessary and worth the cost. In the midst of all of the planning chaos, it is so comforting to work with responsive professionals who know what they are talking about, I truly think that makes all the difference! If you are looking for the perfect ocean front wedding in New England, your searching can stop here! Misslewood is the perfect venue to get married at and celebrate at! The backdrop of your wedding is amazing and the smallest touches are needed for your ceremony. The beauty is in the venue itself! Boats pass by, there is a small beach located on the side of the venue and the landscaping is amazing! Your reception is only steps away to a beautiful and classy tent with a nice floor that has pretty hints of colored sea glass with an elegant touch of chandeliers. The detail doesn't stop there! Located on the other side of the tent is a very nice patio and grass area your guests can check out. They will have the time of their life there, just like you! Every question and need I had was addressed with this venue and their staff. It all went over with such ease. There are no complaints from this bride! One of my best friends is also getting married here. This venue is a must see or use if you love the beauty of nature alone and love the feel of an indoor outdoor sort of place. You have to bring in your own caterer, but Misslewood provides three you will need to pick from. This is certainly a perk because you have a choice in who you want to use and can check these vendors out at one of Misslewoods open houses. If you are going to get married around graduation for the college the venue is at, make sure to have flexibility for your rehearsal as mine had to revolve around the graduation rehearsal. No big deal, but something to keep in mind when booking and they book fast so hurry up!

Misselwood was everything we thought it would be and more! Many of our guests said our wedding was the best they had ever attended. That's saying something coming from people in their 50's who have attended hundreds of weddings. We're eagerly looking forward to our official wedding photos in 2 weeks!
We would've rated Misselwood a 5, were it not for the fact that our event coordinator was changed at the last minute. It took us a little while to get used to the new coordinator (who was good), but other than that, everything was perfect.

The only negative aspect about Misselwood at Endicott was how the one person we organized our entire wedding with, wasn't there on the night of. It was someone we met the morning before our wedding. Our overall experience was great, it just would have been nice to meet with the person that would be present on the day of our wedding, more than 24 hours prior to.

We are so happy with our decision to go with Misselwood for our ceremony and reception. One look at the site and view and its hard to pass up this opportunity. During the entire planning process, Donna was very responsive to our questions and provided much advise. The day-of staff was amazingly professional and helpful to set up the event exactly as we envisioned. Every detail about the venue is considered from the hard floor in the tent, temperature control, location of kitchen and bathrooms and impeccable cleanliness. Our guests will never forget this amazing venue.

Misselwood is an amazing location for a wedding. I am thankful the weather was perfect so we could have our ceremony on the lawn over looking the water and not in the tent or chapel. Claudine and Darren were great to work with, very attentive and professional. There are two reasons I did not give Misselwood a 5.0. First, I was under the impression that the Day of Coordinator would be Claudine. I had met Claudine when I booked the venue and corresponded with her throughout the whole planning process. It was not until my walk through that I found out my Day of Coordintor would be Darren. Both Claudine and Darren were great, I just wish I knew this information ahead of time. My second criticism is in regards to the signature cocktail for cocktail hour. I had won a free signature cocktail in a raffle at one of the Misselwood's open houses. I was told I would have a cocktail of my choosing for the cocktail hour. This made me very excited since I could not afford their expensive open bar ($15/per person for beer and wine!!). However, I found out after the wedding that many of my guests were unaware of the free cocktail and the guests that were aware were only offered the cocktail for 20 minutes not the full hour! I do have to say besides these two details, everything else was absolutely perfect! I would definitely recommend Misselwood to other brides and if I had the chance to do it again, I would definitely choose to have my wedding a Misselwood.

Overall, we had a great experience at Misselwood and couldnt have asked for a more beautiful venue! I mostly worked with Donna, who was great at responding back to emails very quickly. They do have some weird rules (not able to start a tab, or give gifts involving alcohol- we had wine with out pictures made up) though. We also had some issues with our reheresal, the wedding coordinator wasnt there... so it was very hard to run through without them there! It ended up fine in the end... but would have expected to been taken care of a little bit better the week of the wedding for the amount spent on the night!

Misselwood is a perfect location for a wedding on the ocean. It is absolutley beautiful and all of my guests were amazed. That being said, I felt like you have to work with their schedule/rules, which is why I gave 3 stars in flexibility. You are paying for the veiw, the tent and tables and chairs. The rest is up to you. I do not regret my choice one bit, but you have to be willing to do a lot of work. This is not the place for a packaged deal. It is an amazing location and the views will take your breath away. You will fall in love with it, but be ready to plan every other detail, or pay someone else to. It is ideal for the bride whose priority is location and is creative enough to do some DIY, take the time to personalize it and you'll have the wedding of your dreams!

The venue is absolutely beautiful. However, don't expect your wedding coordinator to be helpful nor their communication to be prompt. If you're a long distance bride, hire a wedding planner and save yourself the headache, several details were missed for our ceremony and reception, that had been previously discussed with the venue staff.
