Best. Birthday cake. Ever.

I commissioned Miss Sara's Cakery for a very specific cake for my husband's luau-themed birthday party - a cake in the shape of a roasted pig complete with an apple in its mouth. Boy, did Miss Sara's deliver! It's almost a week later and people are STILL talking about how amazing the cake looked and tasted!

I even had her deliver to a marina dock and she didn't blink an eye. The whole process was incredibly easy and completely stress free. If you want to see some amazing creations, check out her Facebook page!

Not only was amiss Sara a joy to work with, she also made a cake that was both absolutely delicious and totally beautiful. I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone who wants something exceptional both in taste and in looks- I was blown away by her great work.

Sara is in a league of her own when it comes to making specialized cakes, the blackhawks cake she made for our wedding was beyond words! Obviously don't tell my wife but it was the best thing in my eyes at the reception! :)

Sara was amazing! She was very patient with us when we were having trouble deciding what exactly we wanted for our wedding cake. We showed her some pictures and she was able to draw up multiple options for us to choose from. When we finally saw the cake on the wedding day, we were amazed. It turned out perfect! It was so detailed and beautiful and it tasted amazing. We had the pink champagne cake and received many compliments from our guests. I would highly recommend Sara. You will NOT be disappointed!

Sara was wonderful to work with and our cake was amazing! We had a two tiered cake and it was stunning! We received many compliments on her design and were very pleased with how everything turned out. We highly recommend Miss Sara's Cakery!

We were incredibly pleased with the service and product we received from Miss Sarah's Cakery. The cake and 350 cupcakes we ordered for our wedding were absolutely beautiful and so tasty! I continue to receive compliments on them. Going through Miss Sara's Cakery made this portion of wedding planning completely stress-free. She quickly responded to emails and was able to alter our order within the few weeks preceding the event. We will be recommending her to family and friends!

I would give Miss Sara 10 stars if possible on this scale. She was such a pleasure to work with! She was extremely professional and full of amazing ideas. You can tell she loves what she does as it is reflected in her attitude and her work. Her prices were extremely fair and reasonable compared to other competitors in the metro area. The cake quality and taste is out of this world. I had so many people rave about the cupcakes at my wedding. You can't go wrong with any of the flavors. They are all amazing! Sara is also open and flexible to doing any flavors or designs that you want which really sets her apart from other cake places who only have a set flavor or designs to choose from. Sara was really personable and punctual with getting back to you from calls or emails. I would highly recommend Miss Sara's Cakery to anyone I know for any event. I will be sure to use her services again for future events.

Miss Sara made my dream wedding cake!! It looked identical to my dress! She is so incredibly talented! She was incredibly prompt and willing to step up when our first bakery fell through! She listened to all of my concerns and wow did she deliver! I would highly recommend her for any or all occasions, but especially for a perfect wedding day.

Nothing less than perfect here! Sara was a pleasure to work with from the tasting to the reception. The cake and cupcakes are the best I've had and guests complimented also. The overall appearance was phenomenal as well, beautifully decorated. Sara was very prompt with emails and phone call responses and very accommodating. I will hands down use her services again!

Sara made cupcakes for my wedding and they were delicious! Sara was very good with communication and made the process very smooth! She was very creative in making my theme tie in with the cupcakes and top cake. Would definitely recommend her and would go to her again!

Miss Sara's Cakery creates the most amazing cakes (these cakes look like cakes made on the show "Cake Boss")! And the cakes taste as wonderful as they look! We have had multiple birthday cakes made by Miss Sara's Cakery for my children and my spouse. Friends and family have been amazed by them - they always become the topic of conversation! The cake designer, Sara, does an impressive job of creating cakes that align with your vision, making your special occasions unique and memorable. She has always exceeded our expectations! It is obvious that she truly cares about her work and provides nothing less than greatness in every cake she makes. It is an unexpected, added joy to work with Sara due to her superior customer service. I would have had her make my wedding cake had she been in business when I got married! Thank you Sara for making our celebratory events extra special.

I hired Miss Sara's Cakery to gift all of my 2015 Clients with a holiday/seasonal cupcake package , including the employees in my business along with myself. The cupcakes were not only delivered in a pristine timely manner, they were also delicious, every one was so extraordinarily pleased, everyone commented on the cup cakes being "too pretty, to eat!"
Wonderful job, I will certainly hire her again and make sure to pass along her name in the cake business!

Miss Sara's Cakery was so wonderful to work with! Sara made our tasting so much fun and the cupcakes were absolutely delicious! She had great ideas as to what to use for decorations on the cupcakes and they turned out beautiful! She did the delivery and set-up for us which was really helpful. I would recommend her to anyone!

Sara was SOOOOO amazing. She was the 6th or 7th person we met with about our cake. We had a Gatsby themed wedding and everyone else told us we had to design the cake, but Sara sat down with us for a long time, planning and designing. She was so helpful, our cake turned out AMAZING and super delicious! We also ordered the most adorable groom's cake from her!

Miss Sara was the Best! She is affordable and very professional! She created exactly what I envisioned. It was really awesome that she lets you have different flavors for the tiers. We chose white amaretto(?) which is a fan favorite and we chose marble. We had guests that had an almond allergy and so they were able to chose something other than the white amaretto. It was beautiful and delicious. everyone loved our cake and thought it tasted amazing.

I contacted Sara about making my wedding cake. She responded right away and we got a tasting scheduled. The tasting/consultation was great. All of the cake flavors we tried were so good. I had this certain "wedding cake taste" in my mind that I wanted and it turned out to be her Amaretto Cream cake (so delicious). I showed her a few pictures of the lace on my dress and she started sketching her thoughts for the cake. I was very impressed. The cake turned out even more beautiful than I had pictured. They lace piping matched my dress perfectly. So many people that came to our wedding commented on how great it looked and how good it tasted!
A couple of weeks before my wedding I emailed Sara and asked her to make a groom's cake to surprise my husband at our rehearsal. A few emails later we had a pick up time set and all I had told her was I wanted it to be golf themed since we got married at a golf course and he loves golfing. When I got there to pick up the cake she had it all boxed up and ready to go and it was amazing. I couldn't have imagined it would turn out that great, but I had complete faith that Sara would deliver a great cake. Our families still talk about how cool it was!
She is slightly higher priced than some other places but her work is amazing and her portion sizes are bigger than most.
Sara was super nice and the cakes not only looked amazing but tasted great too!

Sara's Cakery was amazing! They were great to work with and did exactly as I asked for the design. Set up and delivery were so easy and the cake was amazing! My husband does not like any sweets but he loved her cake and would get so made when I would eat his :) I would order from these ladies again!!

Sara and her staff did an absolutely amazing job
on my wedding cake and treats. My husband and I
renewed our vows and wanted to make it all signify
us and our courtship 30 years ago. Sara made us
a 1984 mustang GT car cake that looked exactly
Like our car back then. You couldn't of gotten the details
On this cake any better if it was a model. The workmanship was Brilliant!!
She put it on a cake board that resembled the beach/ocean and
the cupcakes set the seen off nicely with seashells and
starfish on top made from white chocolate. So happy I
Found Sara's Cakery. The cake and treats were the talk
of our vow renewal. She was very reasonably priced and worth every penny!

I would highly recommend Miss Sara's Cakery for any cake service! Miss Sara's Cakery was the only place we did a tasting and we were sold. Sara invites you into her Cakery for a tasting and she takes the time to make sure she understands your vision for your cake and she is glad to answer any questions you may have. Her cakes/cupcakes are so delicious (Strawberries and Cream is our favorite flavor) and she decorates everything so beautifully. I showed Sara a picture of a cake that I loved, hoping she could recreate it for our wedding. Sara EXCEEDED all expectations when it came to our wedding cake, as it was even more beautiful that the picture I showed her. You can tell she puts her heart and soul into her work and she was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire planning process! I would highly recommend Miss Sara's Cakery to anyone that wants a delicious cake that is absolutely gorgeous. You can't go wrong and we found her prices to be super reasonable. We LOVED our cake! I plan to order cupcakes from her on every anniversary!

Sara was fantastic to work with from the moment we met at our consultation. She had so many great ideas for us. Throughout the planning process she was always a phone call or email away and was very quick to answer any questions I had. The day of my wedding, when I walked into our venue and saw our cake and cupcake tower for the first time, I teared up by how elegant and beautiful everything was. A simply gorgeous display. Everyone loved the 4 flavors we chose and I can't wait to order again from her in the future. Highly recommend!!

We absolutely loved our wedding cake from Miss Sara's Cakery! We liked the look of an ivory cake she had done for a different wedding, but wanted to add our own style and flare to it. She was able to make that happen, while keeping it in line with our vintage themed wedding. The cake was gorgeous, and we received so many lovely comments about it. Some people mentioned they thought it wasn't real because it was so perfect! :). I can't forget to mention how amazing the flavors were, and how we loved our choices: lemon zest and white amaretto cream. We can't thank Sara enough for such a gorgeous and delicious cake for our special day. We highly recommend Miss Sara's Cakery to anyone with an upcoming wedding.

My husband and I really wanted to have the Floyd of Rosedale as our wedding cake, which we knew was going to be a challenge so we had to make sure that we found the right person to make it. The moment I found Miss Sarah's Cakery online I knew that she would be the one and boy did she deliver! She was confident from the beginning that she would be able to create this cake which really put us at ease. On the day of our wedding I was just amazed at how amazing our cake looked and it was definitely the "talk of the town". It wasn't just the look of our cake that was amazing though. The cake itself was so fresh and flavorful. I feel that it has to be the best wedding cake that I have ever eaten. We received so many compliments and even 5 years later people STILL talk about our cake. Sarah's creativity and artistry stands out in her cakes. Others may try to recreate the Floyd of Rosedale cake but Sarah's will always be the best!

It was a pleasure to work with Miss Sara's Cakery. The whole experience was great from start to finish. We were able to try out samples of the flavors we were interested in when we first visited. We were presented with various different ideas when choosing our wedding party cake, so it was easy to figure out the design we wanted. They dropped off everything we needed for our wedding—a cupcake tower and a small cake for the wedding party—and set up everything for us. Everything was perfect.

After the wedding, we were leaving the state for our honeymoon and were unable to drop off the cupcake tower. They were very considerate and allowed us to keep the tower until we were back from our honeymoon (a week later).

Our overall experience with them was fantastic! We will definitely be working with them in the future for other events.

Miss Sara's Cakery made us the most perfect "his" and "hers" wedding cakes! I had a vision, sent her a picture of my vision, and they turned out even better than the pictures!!! They were the most beautiful, delicious cakes we've ever had! I didn't think we wanted cake at our wedding (we had a brunch wedding and were serving donuts) but 1.5 weeks before the wedding I decided I wanted small, personal cakes for the two of us to share with just our parents and siblings on the wedding night. Miss Sara didn't blink an eye when I put in the short notice request! It was so wonderful working with her and we HIGHLY recommend her for your next cake!! You will not be disappointed! Thank you for making our day (and cakes) perfect!

Miss Sara's Cakery is possibly the most delicious cake ever! We went in for a tasting and had a very hard time deciding on flavors. They're all so good! She ended up doing a small two tier cake for our wedding. It came out exactly like the pictures I had shown Sara. We chose two different flavors - one for each tier. Each tasted amazing! Coordinating delivery was extremely easy. I just gave her the name of the coordinator at our venue and she took it from there. I didn't have to worry about a thing. The drive out to Miss Sara's is well worth it. I'll definitely be ordering from her again in the future.

I am the lucky bride and recipient of the 2015 Fairy Godmother Project MN wedding, a project made up of the best local wedding vendors who are committed to providing a dream wedding to one military family a year. Miss Sara's volunteered immediately to be the donating cake to the project, and I feel like I won the lottery having her aboard. I was completely blown away looking through her work! Speechless really! We went into our meetings with Sara with several ideas on a very different and unique wedding cake, and she delivered hands down, a product that I could never have dreamed of. The cakes are delicious and moist and our guests were running back for seconds! Sara was on point all the way through the process, reaching out to us for any details that we may want to choose and responding to any and all changes and thoughts we had. I am so grateful for that. Being a bride is stressful and having a vendor that is efficient and responsive is worth gold. We wanted a cake that looked like the NHL Stanley Cup, and literally, our guests thought it was the real deal upon first sight at the wedding. It was amazing with so many personal touches to tie in our names and wedding date. We also wanted to incorporate my husband’s military background and our dogs, and we asked her to use her professional and artistic imagination to create. Once again, we were blown away. Sara had requested pics of our dogs...close ups and from all angles. I can'tbegin to imagine how much time she spent creating perfect little replicas of our dogs, but they were uncanny! I am so honored to have had Sara and her crew put together such a perfect piece of art that was so representative of us. It is clear the passion she has for her work, as to shines through in every intricate detail of the cakes she creates and the warm and personal service with which she provides them.

Miss Sara’s Cakery was an amazing vendor for our wedding. Sara was very responsive and helpful in planning for over 350 guests. We were allowed to choose a variety of flavors and décor options. Not only did our cupcake display look gorgeous, everything tasted incredible. Our guests were very impressed and we received a number of complements. I would highly recommend Miss Sara’s Cakery.

Sara is a VERY TALENTED baker. She was responsive to my requests and communications. Her design abilities are unbelievable. I gave her an idea of what I pictured and what she comes up with has always been better than what I had in my head.
The flavor of the cake I ordered was strawberries and cream. Not to sweet and far from bland. The cake itself was so moist it was a great example of perfection. This is the second time I have visited Ms Sara's Cakery - She has a loyal customer in me as I can't imagine going anywhere else for cakes or cupcakes.

Miss Sara's Cakery's staff was wonderful to work with. The cake was even more beautiful than I had imagined- and tasted delicious! The cake they made was a centerpiece for our wedding and we received many compliments!

We love love loved both our wedding (more traditional style) and groom's cake (detailed book cake). Not only did they look like something off a TV show, they tasted amazing! We got numerous comments about how amazing they were. They are as good as the top bakeries here in NYC (where we live), but so much more affordable. I would get a cake from her every year if I lived in MN.

Miss Sara's Cakery made planning our wedding desserts so easy! I emailed Sara a few pictures of what I was looking for in our cupcakes and cake. We got so many compliments on the flavor of our cupcakes as well as the beautiful designs. For flavors we got chocolate, red velvet, and white chocolate amaretto.

She went above and beyond with our wedding cake also! We had a small two tier chocolate cake with teal ombre frosting. It turned out beautiful and delicate!

I would recommend Miss Sara's Cakery to anyone for any occasion. They were a pleasure to work with!

Wow. That's really the best way to sum up my experience with Miss Sara's Cakery. Our cake was pretty specific and Sara NAILED it. It was such a beautiful addition to our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with the service, quality and price of Miss Sara's Cakery!

Miss Sara was great! I chose the orange favored cake as my main favor and it was so tasty. Her fondant is REALLY good. I wanted a unique design and she had no problem with it.

I had Sara make my wedding cake and would never want anyone else. Before the wedding she made my now husbands birthday cake and it turned out great! how many people can make a chimney cake? My wedding cake was exactly what I asked for. She was so patient with me on emailing me numerous sketches so I would be completely happy. The flavors were all amazing. I couldn't choose which flavor. Both cakes I bought were very moist and fluffy. Everyone loves her craftsmanship and cake. I will be purchasing cakes from her for many more years.

We loved our cake! Sara is a lot of fun to work with. She really gets to know you and captures the look and feel of your wedding with each little detail about your cake. Our cake and cupcakes tasted great and lasted longer than we thought they would. We still had fresh tasing red velvet cupcakes to eat when we returned from our honeymoon.

I have had a number of cakes from Miss Sara's and each one has been fabulous!
She worked her magic on cupcakes for a friend's wedding, a couple of special birthday cakes I ordered at last minute, and my daughter's Confirmation cake last year. She took great care to create exactly what was envisioned and desired - and succeeded to our great delight!

I look forward to working with Sara again in the future. :)

P.S. Try the White Amaretto Cream cake - it is purely wonderful!

Sara did a beautiful job on our wedding cake and cupcakes. Everyone commented on how good they looked and tasted. Costs were reasonable when comparing to other vendors. Sara was wonderful to work with. On our wedding day, she delivered our cake and cupcakes and did set up by placing them on a clear cupcake tower. I really liked all of the options that she had available. We were able to choose the decorating that we wanted as well as cake/cupcake flavors and colors of cupcake liners. I would recommend her to any bride!

Sara was an exceptional cake and business expert! She was willing to take on a challenge, accommodated our family for cake testing, and created an outstanding masterpiece of a cake to replicate our vintage camper!
Sara was easily accessible for questions, helped us expand on our ideas with creative genius, and our cake ended up being the highlight of the reception! Not only did it look incredible - it tasted delicious! We had several people ask for her contact info. Hands down a phenomenal result, far exceeding ALL expectations!!!

We loved our cake from Miss Sara's Cakery! We ordered a 3 tiered wedding cake with buttercream frosting and then supplemented with sheet cakes from another vendor. Our tiered cake was strawberries and cream and it was absolutely delicious!!! By far, the best strawberries and cream we had at any of our tastings with other vendors. Sara was really great to work with and made the process really easy. We LOVE that she works with/allows you to use cakes from other vendors and doesn't require you to purchase any extra sheet cakes through her. It allows for couples to save money and it is so very much appreciated!! The only reason for the 4 star quality rating is that Sara, by her own admission, isn't overly skilled in working with buttercream frosting and we had to change our cake design a couple times because we absolutely didn't want fondant and Sara didn't feel comfortable doing the design we wanted (and had been done elsewhere with buttercream) without using fondant. We will definitely be working with Miss Sara's Cakery again though!

I visited a few different bakeries before selecting Miss Sara's. All had delicious cake but Miss Sara's Cakery had the highest quality designs. It was a little more expensive but overall I thought it was worth it. I was able to just giver her a picture of what I wanted and it turned out great!

Sara made a simple but very delicious cake for our wedding. Our wedding guests raved about the cake and a number of them had several pieces. (Definitely order extra cake because your guests will want it.) Sara was very flexible with our unique flavor combination and with our desire to have a non-traditional cake topper at our wedding. I would recommend her for any event!

Sarah was great working with us at the initial meeting by providing sample flavors, showing us previous designs, and sketching a design for us as we talked through what we were looking for.

Our cake was simple but exactly what we asked for and looked amazing. The mini cupcakes we served were different flavors and cute decorations for no additional cost. I was very happy when I saw the work that they did.

We did cupcakes and a cake for our wedding. A lot of our guests complimented on the taste of the cupcakes. They all turned out perfect. The only thing that I was disappointed in was our cake decoration. Prior to the wedding we met with her and showed her pictures and discussed what we wanted the cake to look like. She said that she knew exactly what we wanted and would be able to do it for us. Day of, the cake looked NOTHING like what I showed her. I was very disappointed in it when I saw it. At that point it was too late to do anything and I just had to deal with it.
