Jenn was hands down one of my favorite, if not my #1, vendors. She is so fun to work with and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our wedding. Our gorgeous venue had some wallpaper that just didn't look nice with our color scheme, so we hired Jenn to pipe and drape the entire ballroom. It looked STUNNING. We rented several other items through her that worked out great as well. She has lots of options and items to choose from. I cannot stress enough how accommodating she was from beginning to end. Highly HIGHLY recommend her for any event rentals. -

Ms. Formal provides top quality product and service, is very professional in all her dealings, ad we have been extremely pleased with her service and product. We highly recommend working with her-- she makes your life easy. We have engaged Ms. Formal for 3 Charity Auction Dinners for our non-profit and she has been great to work with. Please note that the "Wedding Date" was actually the Dinner/Auction Date. -

I've used Miss Formal several times and Jennifer is always so accommodating and very easy to work with. I have used other similar vendors but prefer MF for their value and the fact that they don't add on additional fees or charges unlike a lot of their competitors. Definitely would recommend them! -

Jennifer was a pleasure to work with from the point of contact to the end of my event! I rented a variety of items from Miss Formal for a wedding reception. The quality of items and her quick and friendly service made a potentially stressful event go very smoothly. I first heard about Miss Formal Event Rentals at my friend's wedding, I was very impressed with Jennifer and her team. They were very accommodating, friendly and fun to have at the event. I decided to also hire them for my wedding, and it worked out wonderfully! Leading up to the event, Jennifer was very responsive and willing to talk through all the details of my big day to be sure that they were prepared and we had all the details sorted out. I would certainly recommend Miss Formal Event Rentals for any of your bartending event needs! -

I want to start by saying I will never go anywhere else for rentals. Miss Formal is the most dependable company and her rentals are always perfectly clean and shined. She has always been very accommodating with any order we have placed. I really enjoy working with Jennifer because I instantly feel at ease and taken care of. I never have any worries about the quality of the product or her timing the day of the event. I would have given 10 stars if I could! -

We are caterers who use Miss Formal exclusively; it is the best rental company we know. Her linens, china and glassware are spotless. She always works with our schedule (she isn't closed when you need her most), and she is a phone call or text away if we need anything. Her prices are great and she has great design sense. I am an event planner and coordinator and have used many different rental companies. However Jennifer from Miss Formal has the best service and products in the Portland/Vancouver area. Jennifer at Miss Formal Events was so helpful. I rented table linens and shepherd hooks from her. She knew the sizes of the table at the venue and suggested several different ways to set things up conveniently. When guests spilled red wine on one of the linens she was so reassuring. I would never hesitate to rent from her again for any event. -

We hired "Miss Formal" to provide us with all the necessities required to have a formal dinner sit down at our 50th wedding anniversary for 60 people.
She was very friendly and patient and helped us choose the right linens, decor, dishes, .glasses, napkins and flatware.
She also gave us many tips on different aspects of our celebration and I must say, we learned a lot from her and were so thankful for her guidance.
She also coordinated between the event rental vendor and caterer, we were truly impressed by her professionalism.
She also kept us regularly updated per e-mail and answered all our questions promptly.
When we arrived at the venue on the day of our celebration we and our guests were surprised by the ambiance and most elegant setting imaginable. Everything was perfect down to the last detail. The tables and chairs looked absolutely gorgeous, and the place settings and the decor were just beautiful.
We received so many compliments from our guest for the grand setting.
Thank you so much Miss Formal, when we are again in need of a service like that we will be calling on you again.

Working with Miss Formal made my parents' 50th wedding anniversary (almost like a second wedding!) a huge success. The room was so beautiful that the facility coordinator said it was the nicest and most elegant settting she'd ever seen in that room. We were so lucky to have worked with Miss Formal. She's casual and easy-going, yet exacting in detail (you should see her precisely measure the distance of forks and knives from the edge of the table). She was flexible even during setup, when she had to send her staff out to pick up more chair covers. The event wouldn't have been the same without Miss Formal. -

Jennifer (the owner, I believe) of Miss Formal was an amazing source! She was very friendly and one of the most helpful, warm, welcoming individuals I've met in the wedding business. We met her through our wedding planner at Soleil Bliss. Jennifer was so flexible with our schedule, and the price to rent her huppa was pretty inexpensive compared to other places. There was delivery and set up for a little bit extra and her helper also helped our wedding planner set up at the wedding! In addition to working with our time slot and helping our wedding planner with decorations, Jennifer also gave me scrap linens that I needed to cover some ugly metal poles at the wedding. I only needed about 4 yards but she ended up giving me almost double! They were in almost perfect condition but were of no use to her because there were a few small stains. I would highly suggest working with Miss Formal for their flexibility and willingness to go above and beyond to help the customer. She was super responsive (even started texting and updating me instantly about changes in invoice!) and again, so informative and welcoming. -

Jennifer Blake, proprietor, of Miss Formal Events Rentals provided excellent guidance and service for our daughter's wedding. She is thoughtful in her suggestions and able to troubleshoot on the spot. Set up, staging, and take down were well organized and orchestrated. I cannot say enough great things about Jennifer at Miss Formal Event Rental. She has been so fabulous to work with. I utilized her for my bridal shower rentals as well as hired her services and rentals for my wedding reception. Not only did she take the time to sit and help create the look I was seeking but she was so fun and accommodating to work with.
When you seek vendors to work with on such a special day, you want to look for someone who truly values you, your vision and wants to help you achieve something beautiful - Jennifer does that and then some! Many vendors get caught up in a sale, instead, Jennifer builds lasting relationships and I truly hope it benefits her business.

Jennifer was really helpful from planning all the way to the delivery at the event. She sat with me, even though she had to set up another event the same night, and walked me through colors, options, and prices. She provided a detailed estimate--every time I changed my mind! I placed a deposit with her about 3 months in advance and was able to provide her with my lower final count the week of my wedding without penalty. Jennifer was great to work with. We had quite a few issues with our wedding venue and it took some extra work on her part to really make everything perfect. She was very flexible and did everything she could to make our day as amazing as we planned. Jennifer also has the best prices around. For anyone shopping for rentals; I priced quite a few places in Portland and Jennifer not only beat there prices, but was over 25% cheaper on almost all of the same products than the "bigger named" event rentals. She has a great selection and knowledge of what is on trend and what pieces look good with what. I would definately reccomend Jennifer for any event big or small. -

The linen rental was very affordable and the linen was in perfect condition. My indecisiveness led to us needing linen at the last minute and Jennifer was more than willing to provide us with what we needed. It was literally two days before the wedding when my coordinator contacted Jennifer and arranged for our rentals. The return process was simple and convenient. We put all the dirty linen in the bag she provided and dropped it off on the following Monday. Jennifer was always professional and eager to help in any way she could. I would recommend Jennifer at Miss Formal for all your rental needs and I would use her again in a heartbeat. -

I must say after calling at least 25 places and researching the internet for way to many wasted hours. Miss Formal not only was extremely flexible with me but in my case having a few huge last minute changes, they just calmly handled it without any question. Their prices are absolutly unbeatable and provide you with the same quality you would get at some big name fancy place. I was told hundreds of times I had the most beautiful beach wedding they had ever seen and I rented everything from Miss Formal. Also I never seen anything and only had a phone conversation with Miss Formal due to the fact I live in Seattle and was having a destination wedding on the Oregon coast. So in my case I just had to trust what I was being told until the wedding day! Let me tell you that was worthless worry!!!! I would not waste my time anywhere else. This is the place and they are extremely honest and upfront about everything. This helps when you have so many decisions to make. I don't write reviews however this was a must on my list. Jennifer at Miss Formal is wonderful. I rented linens and other decorations from her for my Jul 2011 wedding. Jennifer is professional, flexible, and overall a great value. You cannot beat her prices! You get better service and product from her than that of the larger event rental places in the Portland-metro area. I have visited the other rental places, the quality of Jennifer's products are much better than the rest for a fraction of the price. After two visits to her home (I couldn't decide on what I wanted to rent) Jennifer promptly put together a quote, reserved the date & my items, and packed them up for me for pick-up two days before the wedding. The only con is that the lighting in her home is a bit dark so it was hard to decide on the color of linens because it was difficult to gauge the true colors. Overall, Miss Formal is a definite must for a wedding. Don't look elsewhere for your next event! Save yourself time and lots of money by visiting Miss Formal. -

Jennifer of Miss Formal provided place settings for my wedding. The items were in mint condition and looked great! She kept my husband and me informed throughout the whole process and even let us switch, two days before the big day, from picking up the rental ourselves to having her deliver it! -

I rented table linens, two 3-gallon glass beverage dispensers, and a cupcake stand from Miss Formal. The linens were beautifully colored (we chose eggplant) and pressed. The cupcake stand was made of wood and very large and sturdy. I hadn't thought about decorating it, though, and it took me a little while to figure that out - would have helped to mention in the description what Jennifer told me when I picked it up - suggestions on decorating it with ribbon, etc. I broke one of the beverage jars in the container as soon as I got home - apparently set it down a little too hard. I called Jennifer and she immediately told me to bring it back and she would lend me the 5- gallon jar instead, which was great. However, I think it should have had a bit more padding to begin with. Overall, Jennifer was great to work with and flexible in return and pick-up times. -
