From our first call with Miraval Gardens by Wedgewood Weddings, we knew we had made the right choice. Meghan, our coordinator, was responsive and accommodating every step of the way, making the entire planning process feel effortless. On the day of our wedding, she went above and beyond by helping us get ready, checking in constantly, and ensuring we were fed and taken care of throughout the celebration.
The venue itself is absolutely picturesque, and we received so many compliments from our guests about how amazing the food was. The recommended vendors they work with closely—especially the DJ, photographer, and bakery—were equally incredible and made everything run like clockwork. Their attention to detail and organized approach took so much stress off our shoulders. We cannot recommend Miraval Gardens highly enough!Miraval Gardens by Wedgewood Weddings's reply:

We had our wedding at Miraval Gardens by Wedgewood Weddings, and it was absolutely incredible! The venue is stunning, with beautifully maintained gardens that created the perfect backdrop for our big day and photography session. Taylor is truly exceptional. Words cannot express how grateful we are for her efforts and kindness. She is patient, understanding, and genuinely caring. Her personality is a perfect match for this role. I walked into the venue worried about trusting my vision with someone else since I am an event planner, but she reassured me that she would work with me every step of the way. Somehow she made it easy for me to trust her with every detail. We blended our ideas with hers and followed her guidance. We loved her suggestions, valued her feedback, and the final result was far beyond what we expected, especially for an event planned in only five months.
We also worked with Meghan for a day while Taylor was away. She is another wonderful team member with a calm and caring presence. She maintained constant communication and answered all our questions until Taylor returned.

We had our wedding at The Miraval Gardens and could not be happier with our experience it was absolutely perfect from start to finish!
Our coordinator, Meghan, was incredible. She helped us plan every little detail exactly the way we wanted, and on the day of the wedding, she was so attentive making sure everything went smoothly. We felt completely at ease knowing she was there.
Our banquet captain, Neusa, went above and beyond to make us feel like the most important people in the room. She made sure we always had what we needed, kept fresh drinks in our hands, and never let us wait in line for anything. She truly made us feel cared for all night long.
The serving team Kayla, Joanne, Michelle, Emily, and Joyce were wonderful with our guests, and we heard so many compliments about their service. Our bartender, Donna, was such a hit!Personable, fun, and kept the drinks flowing. Everyone loved her!
The kitchen staff, Michael, Glenn and Scott, prepared a meal that was absolutely delicious. We’ve had so many guests tell us how impressed they were with both the food and the presentation.
From start to finish, the entire team was amazing. They always responded to emails and questions quickly, guided us through every step of the process, and made sure everything was flawless on our big day. Every one of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was, and we couldn’t agree more.
We haven’t stopped smiling since our wedding day, and we are so thankful we chose The Miraval. It was even better than we could have imagined. We would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue!Miraval Gardens by Wedgewood Weddings's reply:

Everything Turned Out Great!
We truly enjoyed working with Frank and having our wedding at the Miraval Ballroom!
Frank was so professional and responsive, and never seemed to lose patience with answering our questions. When the wedding day came, Frank and his staff did all they could to make sure the ceremony and reception went as smooth as possible! The food was good and the price of the packages we think were reasonable. All of our guests loved the venue, LOVED that there was parking, and enjoyed the night there!

My husband and I just got married at the Miraval Ballroom on 9/30! We couldn't say enough great things about this venue and Frank the owner. Frank helped us through everything, every step of the way considering we knew nothing about wedding planning. We planned to have the ceremony out back in the beautiful space but unfortunately it rained 10 minutes before walking down. Every bride's nightmare, I know! Frank was right on it as fast as he could be and worked his magic for a fast indoor switch. All my guest complimented the beautiful venue and said it was one of the best weddings they have ever been too! Let's not forget how amazing and delicious the food was. We heard everyone loving the chicken and beef we picked and how moist everything was. I couldn't recommend this venue enough! My husband and I just got married at Miraval in December and I seriously cannot recommend booking your wedding here enough!! First of all, the event space is absolutely beautiful. Because it was a winter wedding and raining all day, we did everything inside and it was all so beautiful! But in the back, they also have an absolutely beautiful space you would never expect to be hidden back there! Frank was so easy to work with, answering all of my questions along the way whenever I had them. His staff was so friendly and fun to work with for our rehearsal dinner and big day! We brought a lot of decor in and they did an amazing job setting it up exactly how I envisioned it. The food was absolutely delicious and there were so many options to pick from. We also did a hot cocoa and cookies bar as our late night snack and our guests said it was the best hot cocoa they’ve ever had! Thank you so much Frank for helping us have our picture perfect day. In searching for a venue, with an outdoor ceremony option, I was ready to settle for indoor when I just couldn’t find the one. Luckily, my sister took on the task and pointed me in the direction of Miraval Ballroom. The grounds are immaculate. Almost fairytale like. The reception area is spacious, crisp and elegant. But what was the key to all going as we needed it to was Frank. He has a gift. One that kept me calm. His responses were so prompt that I wondered when he slept. Frank was understanding of my indecisiveness and frequent changes when it came to centerpieces. I never felt pressure to go in any direction. If I wanted flowers from a florist, ok. A rented centerpiece from the venue, ok. His coordination with the vendors made me feel secure. On the day, 6/4/2022, I had no worries as I knew Frank was in control. I was checked on throughout the day and night to fulfill my needs. I could keep going but I suggest you find out more on your own. Shop around. Whether you check Miraval Ballroom first or last, it’ll leave an impression. -

My husband and I had a COVID wedding. Frank was so understanding and kind to have let us split our ceremony and our reception between 2 years. Perfect venue. Frank the coordinator is excellent and over sees everything. He keeps vendors in check, which is important. He responds quickly to emails and answers any questions you may have. I don’t even know where to begin!! Let me begin with Frank (Wedding Day Coordinator) he was fabulous. He was polite, responsive, accommodating, organized, knowledgeable. He made planning a wedding so easy!!. The venue space was beautiful, landscaping was astounding, the ballroom has floor to ceiling windows looking out to the garden. It was everything we dreamed of for our wedding day! We had everything done at the venue ceremony, photos and reception making it so much easier and less stressful. Everyone is still talking about how beautiful everything was! I can not forget about the food, that was the talk of the party, the food was delicious. It had flavor and the presentation was spot on!! Absolute perfect night!
Our wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect. Frank was awesome to work with, so professional and just all around great guy. Anything we needed throughout the planning process and on our big day, he was always easy to find. The grounds are simply beautiful. So clean and very well kept, the feeling of being in a luxurious backyard. Especially on the patio with the outdoor fireplace. We got married on November 6th 2020, the weather was great almost 70 degrees! And even if it wasn’t, the heaters Frank provided were fantastic and would for sure have kept us warm. The food was delicious, and there are so many options. We opted for a hot chocolate and cookies station for after our cake-definitely a good idea people enjoyed a lot. I highly recommend adding the over sized ‘Love’ sign, as it stood as a nice backdrop with the lawn for guests to take pictures, and of course it added such a sweet romantic atmosphere. We also added the cigar and bourbon bar to be set up towards the end of the night- BIG HIT! All of our family and friends couldn’t have enjoyed themselves more, they raved about the staff who were so fun, smiley and friendly. And how simply beautiful everything was. We would 100% recommend The Mockingbird for any event, we can’t wait to come back for dinner on our first anniversary! Thank you Frank and all who made our day so special! -

This venue all by itself is gorgeous!!! The Senior Wedding Coordinator Frank was the best a bride and groom coukd ask for on their wedding date. Everything the day of our wedding went smoothly & stress free. Frank was always 10 steps ahead of what was needed. He checked in often with bride and groom and cater to our needs and the needs of our guest.

We came to Frank at Miraval Ballroom after our venue canceled our wedding just over a month before it was to take place in August, and our plan B fell through. As a COVID couple who was supposed to be married in June, we were pretty much at our wits end and ready to elope or have a ceremony and dinner with just our immediate family. We agreed to check out this last option as our last ditch effort before deciding to downsize and move on. This was without a doubt the best decision we made throughout our entire year's worth of wedding planning. The grounds are absolutely stunning and impeccably landscaped. The food was simply AMAZING. The atmosphere was serene and intimate. But the real life saver for us was Frank. He went above and beyond to make every single one of our visions come to life and then some. He and his team put in every ounce of effort to make sure our day was the most perfect, beautiful day, and it truly was. Throughout the very stressful COVID planning process, Frank was reassuring and hopeful. On the day of our wedding, he was right by our side, making sure we had everything we needed. We truly couldn't have had such a flawless day without him!
After a year of planning, pandemic planning, and replanning, once we handed our day over to Frank, all of the stress was gone. I beyond highly recommend Miraval Ballroom for any and every event you could imagine and I highly encourage folks to eat there regularly at their restaurant. The Miraval Ballroom at the Mockingbird Restaurant is the perfect choice to host your wedding!
Our wedding coordinator, Frank, was nothing short of spectacular. He was professional in every way. He was willing to work with us within our budget, quick to respond to emails, and always willing to meet with us, even on short notice.
As a gay couple with absolutely no sense of style, Frank came to the rescue more than once. From color schemes to wedding decor, Frank was able to put his years of experience as a wedding planner to work and never judged us in the process. When our DJ canceled on us a month before our wedding date, Frank helped us find a replacement DJ immediately. On the night of our wedding, he was our personal attendant and always made sure we had a drink in hand.
The venue itself is beautiful. We had an indoor (January) wedding, and even with an indoor ceremony, it all came together so well. The uplighting is a MUST! From the high ceilings to your own separate bridal suite, everything just feels so modern and great. We opted to go with the gold chiavari chairs, at a slight up charge, and have no regrets. Upon arriving the night of the wedding, Frank and his team had all our wedding decorations set up to our liking, and he even had some decor of his own to add to ours!
Lastly, the food. If you want standard “wedding food” I advise you go elsewhere. From the complimentary food tasting, to the rehearsal dinner (with discount), to the night of the wedding, the food was phenomenal and was a highlight from our wedding guests. The Miraval Ballroom was able to accommodate some dietary restrictions the night of the wedding, from vegans to dairy free to those with gluten allergies (one of the servers even helped out on the spot!).
All of our expectations for our choice of venue were exceeded at a very fair price. We wish the Miraval Ballroom and Frank all the success in the world and truly thank them for a day we will never forget. -

I'm a little delayed in writing this review, however I wanted to make sure this review had my full, undivided attention because Frank deserves it. We knew from the beginning that we wanted an outdoor ceremony if at all possible. We also knew that because we were doing this on our own, in a short time span that budget was going to be a huge factor. That being said, Miraval was the second place we made an appointment to view and chat with Frank. The first place we looked at was MUCH too far out of our reach and also quite far away. From the moment we met Frank, we felt at ease. Very friendly, professional, and not the least bit pushy. The inside of the Ballroom was beautiful, and it was actually set up for an event when we got there. Funny thing was, it was set up with the colors we had chosen, which made it much easier to envision the room on our Wedding day. Then Frank showed us out back in the garden area. We were floored and both just knew immediately that we wanted to have our Wedding there. From the beautiful flowers, to the pond and gazebo, we just knew in our hearts, this was our venue. We went back inside and Frank went over the different packages he offers, again not being the least bit pushy, very relaxed and answered any and all of our questions clearly. We made sure the date we had chosen was available with him, then told him we needed a few moments to discuss. We took a few moments out front and neither one of us had anything negative come up when weighing our options. We booked with Frank that day! The year leading up to the Wedding went quickly, but any time I had even the smallest question, Frank answered my Emails quickly. When we were down to less than 3 weeks to go, I started to panic, thinking I was forgetting things that needed to be done. Frank was right there going over things with me and reassuring me that everything was on track. Wedding day, Frank was EVERYWHERE, but you'd never have known it. There was a small issue with my centerpieces and Frank and his Team made sure that every single one of them was fixed so that you'd never know. I had given Frank our decorations and told him where I'd like things to go, however, with all of his experience, he made a few very very slight changes, and quite honestly, I loved the way he set things up! Without being overbearing, Frank made sure that we had everything we needed all night long. From bringing us our own plate of his delicious appetizers so that we could enjoy them while we took a few moments to ourselves after the Ceremony, to helping us load our car at the end of the night. We made the perfect choice for our Wedding, and even now, we still are getting compliments of what a beautiful venue it was, how amazing the food was, and how professional and attentive Frank and his Team were. I truly can't say enough good things about Frank and The Miraval. If I could give him 10 stars or a Million, I would. Thank you Frank, for EVERYTHING you did for us to make our Wedding so wonderful. We could not ask for a better wedding coordinator or venue. Miraval Ballroom is a gorgeous ballroom and a surprisingly beautiful patio and outdoor area. Frank was exceptional between answering questions, being there when we needed anything and just simply everything. He set aside hors d'oeuvres for me after the ceremony. He also set aside cake for us at a quiet table in the back with candles, which was perfect and thoughtful when you just need a moment away on your big day. The best way to describe our wedding is that everything turned out perfect. Frank has exceptional skills in the wedding & restaurant industry. He is very humble, has great attention to detail and time management skills. His team works well by his side. Our Greatest Adventure
Frank is amazing at his job and it shows through his execution. I was such a laid back bride so it was a pleasure to work with Frank. He was very responsive and available to meet with me my his husband whenever we had a question or wanted to go over anything.
He always made sure to answer any question we had. He asked us what we envisioned and offered to help and reach out to other vendors to get pricing on things for us. Ultimately, we showed him pictures of what we were thinking and asked his opinion on things and he happily told us his opinion but never pushed us in Any direction.
On the day of our wedding it was 100+ degrees. Frank was as cool as cucumber. Directing everyone, making sure we had what we needed, chasing after groomsmen and helping pin their boutonnières. He paid so much attention to all details- small and big. Without him our day would have been chaos.
Every time I turned around he was checking on me and my husband. Making sure we ate. Making sure we had a drink in our hands. All in all Frank was a god send. The venue was everything I was hoping for and more.Miraval Gardens by Wedgewood Weddings's reply:

Where do I begin with Frank? I was first interested in the Miraval ballroom at the beginning of the summer of 2018. I went for a tour and automatically loved Franks vibe. The venue was gorgeous, the grounds were gorgeous, and I loved everything. While in the process of choosing a venue, Frank did not push me or harass me for a deposit or another meeting. Frank was patient and and so nice. Everything up until our wedding day Frank was there for us. Always responding to me and supporting us. He was always available if I missed something and needed to bring it to him. He really cared for us on our special day. The day of the wedding, our room was GORGEOUS. Frank catered to Scott and I the whole night as well as our bridal party in the bridal suite which is GORGEOUS! Frank is the sweetest, nicest, and kindest man you will ever meet. The Miraval ballroom is perfect for any event and especially anyone’s wedding!! He fits anyone’s budget! He really works with you for your special day and does not push anything on you as most vendors and venues do. My wedding day was gorgeous thank you to Frank. He listened to me and my husbands requests and made our vision come true. The venue is absolutely beautiful and our guests loved the place. If I could give a 10 Star all around I would. I cannot say enough about Frank. From start to finish, everything was amazing. The service, professionalism, fulfillment of my requests and needs were top notch.
The food was spectacular. I didn’t have one complaint from any guests. They worked with me and the multiple food allergies my guests had.

We were on the hunt for a few months trying to find the perfect venue for our wedding. It was very difficult to find a place that hosted one wedding at a time, had a beautiful outdoor space and was on budget. When we first visited the Miraval Ballroom at The Mockingbird we didn’t know what to expect but it surpassed all our expectations. The venue is gorgeous and the pictures do not do it justice. The food was AMAZING. The true gem of this place is Mr. Frank Cannizzaro the wedding coordinator and chef extraordinary. He put me at ease through the entire process and took care of every single detail on the wedding day. He is part of everything and did a tremendous job. He would always be responsive, flexible when things change and with his experience offered his advice. He did it all and I am so grateful. Our guests all raved about the food, the staff and those MARTINIS the entire night not one complaint. Shout out to Jose the bartender he made the best drinks the entire night. Excellence with great value
Words can not explain how grateful I am for Frank Cannizzaro and his staff who made our wedding day so important and made us feel like we was always #1. From the great food, linen and lights everything was exquisite. The out side patio was just gorgeous! They made this bride & groom very happy. I would choose this place over and over again. Adam and I looked at several other venues but when we met with Frank, owner and chef at Mockingbird, we new we had found our venue! The ballroom is elegant yet warm and cozy. The grounds are absolutely beautiful; from the outdoor patio, gazebo, pond and brick walkway up to the pergola. The food is amazing as is their attention to detail. Frank and his staff were always available, keeping us on track and making our wedding day absolutely perfect, from start to finish! -

The venue is stunningly beautiful! We live close and go to it often for dinner and knew we would marry there one day and so happy we did! The staff was great very attentive throughout the evening, and the food was perfection! A few miscommunications happened through the evening but no wedding is absolutely perfect during a pandemic! You make it work. The day was beautiful and we thank Frank and his staff for everything he did to help us plan our covid wedding. Frank was very flexible and super attentive during the whole planning process during the pandemic and we can’t thank him enough for making our day happen! August 8th, 2020 Collins wedding
We had the absolute best wedding at the Mockingbird restaurant! Everyone was super nice and was very helpful! We had our wedding during the pandemic, so everything was outside. In my opinion the outside is the most beautiful. Frank was super helpful and flexible with all the obstacles that were thrown at him due to the pandemic.
My husband and I are happy that we can look back at our wedding day and remember how amazing and fun it was.

Frank and his team did an amazing job!!
My wedding was June 20, 2019. Frank and his team went beyond my expectation. I sat down with Frank for a few minutes during my rehearsal to show him my decor and wasn’t sure he knew exactly what I wanted done; the day of my wedding he blew me away he did exactly what I wanted. I failed to mention one of my trumpet vases broke while being transported to the venue from my florist and Frank managed to find one to replace it. Oh yeah another I forgot to mention it was raining on my wedding day well not exactly the whole day thanks to Frank and his staff for being patient while the rain stop so I could have my Ceremony outside. The food was so delicious my guest are still talking about how good the food was and how nice everyone was. If I could do it all over again I would still have my wedding here. If you are unsure about whether you should have your wedding here definitely book it. -
