Book them!

Denny and the entire Mirage band blew us out of the water! From our first contact, to our wedding night, they exceeded our expectations. A friend recommended that we use them for our wedding and we are thrilled we listened to that advice! We were able to listen to a private band practice with a few selected songs and it was the most fun and romantic date night. We were so impressed that we secured them for our wedding that night! If you are questioning where to allocate your funds for your special day, please choose Mirage! We were able to customize their set list and have input, which was not always the case with bands in the area.

Mirage is amazing!

Having Mirage provide music for our wedding day was one of the best decisions we made! They helped make our day perfect! We hired their string quartet for our ceremony, a jazz combo for the cocktail hour and their full band for our dance party! Each group was so good!!! Denny was so easy to work with. He was kind, patient, offered suggestions and was prompt with all of his communications. We never felt pressured by him. Instead, we were totally at ease knowing that everything was going to run smoothly. Mirage also served as the emcee for our dinner and reception and they interacted with our guests in such a fun-but professional way! I highly recommend Mirage for anyone wanting to hire elite musicians who can provide music for every part of their wedding day!

Mirage has very talented musicians!

We spoke with several bands and ultimately chose Mirage, and we couldn’t be happier. They were professional and easy to work with, and Denny was great in helping us with song selections and pricing. On the night of the reception, the band was sensational – our guest loved the music and the dance floor was full all night. We highly recommend Mirage.

Mirage is AMAZING!!!

Denny and team at Mirage are INCREDIBLE!! Don’t even think twice - just book them!! They are easy to talk to, kind, and respond quickly! (They were also super understanding and adaptive as I changed my song selections a few times). Our guests are still raving about the violinist. We are excited to work with Mirage again in the future.

Extraordinary!

Denny was absolutely extraordinary. His voice brought so much emotion to our ceremony and created moments we’ll never forget. An Unforgettable Wedding Experience with Mirage Entertainment

We could not have been happier with Mirage Entertainment, they truly made our wedding day unforgettable. From start to finish, the band was a dream to work with and went above and beyond to customize the music for our special day. Denny was incredibly easy to coordinate with and made the planning process seamless. We began with a beautiful string quartet in the church, and Ann and her group were fabulous. We then transitioned to piano for cocktail hour, had Ragedy Ann perform during dinner, and finished with the full band for dancing. They even learned new songs for us, and there truly was no challenge they could not handle. One of the most special moments of the night was ending with “God Bless the USA,” and there was not a dry eye in the house. We were married on my husband’s family farm that has been in his family for five generations, and the band truly lit up the day. We cannot recommend Mirage Entertainment highly enough.

So much FUN!

We are so happy we had Mirage play at our wedding. They were incredibly communicative throughout the whole process and expressed how important it was to make our day special. Would completely recommend for anyone looking to keep people on the dance floor all night long. We have had many of our guests tell us how much fun they had because of the dance party.

Wedding Band

Mirage was an awesome band for our wedding reception! Not only did they play all the songs we asked for but they even learned new songs for our special dances! They were my favorite vendor to work with through the entire process and we received so many compliments from our guests! So incredibly happy that we chose them for our special event!!!

Mirage - Simply Outstanding

Mirage always excels. They are the go-to band for the Great Forest Park Balloon Race. For over 15 years they have performed at our race banquet at the Worlds Fair Pavilion. They play whatever our guests want to hear in addition to what they have planned. By the time dinner is over our guests are sitting on the staircase listening or out on the dance floor. And when all the young kids join in it is really something to see. It’s always a perfect evening. Mirage is on the calendar for the 2026 balloon race. We wouldn’t have anyone else.

Wonderful Experience!

Without a doubt, one of the best choices we made in planning our daughter’s wedding was to choose Mirage as the band. Denny was wonderful to work with, an incredible communicator that helped with every little detail and even served as the masters of ceremony for the reception.
The music was incredible! Mirage is one of those bands where everybody is on the dance floor! Such a fun and energy charged band!

Thanks for a super fun night!

Mirage is an amazing band! They were the driving force behind the fun vibe we were looking for. So many people were dancing the dance floor was packed with people having a great time. Denny and his team were so easy to deal with and great communicators, which made my life so much easier during the stresses of planning an event for so many people. The best!

I can't recommend Mirage more!! We switched to a band last minute in the wedding planning process and it may have been the best decision we had!! They were nothing but friendly, professional and fun. Fun for Everyone!

We went back and forth between a few wedding bands, but we are SO happy we picked Mirage! Our guests kept complementing the music, and we wished we could have danced all night! A live band truly brings something special to your reception and Mirage brings their A-Game with lighting, sound quality and fun. The band was also able to learn a couple of new songs for us! Not to mention, working with Lou and Darren was super easy and it felt like a personal friendship on the night of our wedding. I hope to see them play at another wedding soon or will definitely say "hi" if our paths cross again! Thank you, Mirage, for being so wonderful!

We absolutely LOVED Mirage at our wedding!! We loved the music selection and their sound was great! Mirage kept the dance floor packed all night with our guests grooving to the music - they delivered exactly what we were looking for! Our guests have all raved about the performance as well!

They were such a pleasure to work with! They were very responsive to our questions and proactive in their communication.

Mirage did an excellent job learning the song for our first dance, father/bride and mother/groom dances too!

Amazing, amazing, amazing!

The best money we spent! They were phenomenal. Our dance floor was packed the entire night, and they really paid attention to the type of music we were wanting. They were organized yet flexible, fun yet professional - the perfect balance in every way. Multiple friends asked me for their information after the wedding, so they are sure to be booked! What a fantastic evening

Don called us in advanced to get the names of the bridal party, verified the songs for the dance segment for out song, dad and daughter and mother and son songs

The introduction was awesome and members of the band were fun and entertaining. They made our evening fun and the lighting from there stage was awesome. Everyone had a great time and we cannot thank Mirage enough for the fantastic night. They were into it as much as we were and they played one last song for us. It was never a dull moment and glad they shared and played a part on our special day. Highly, highly recommend this group. You will not be disappointed.

Get this band

Plan the rest of your wedding budget around hiring this band! It's been 3 months since my wedding and my guests are STILL talking about how incredible the band was. They are seasoned wedding professionals and can read a room to assess the best music for the moment. The whole night was a blast and everyone was up and dancing.

Mirage is the best band in the land!

Mirage kept us on the dance floor all night long! They are an 8-piece band with amazing singers and a screaming horn section. We picked the songs we wanted them to play from their large playlist. Fantastic music and kept the entire wedding dancing all night long

The band was incredible! Everyone danced all night and we have continued to have guests comment on how great the music was. They even played songs that were not on their list. 10/10 would recommend this band and 10/10 would recommend upgrading to get the horn selection.

Simply OUTSTANDING!! Seriously…the BEST band for ANY event. They are so versatile and play with passion. You know they are AWESOME when most of your guests stay to the very end and ask for one more song!! I strongly recommend you book the full band with horns. Well worth the investment. Mirage is REAL!!

Mirage played for our wedding last weekend and were awesome!! They are wonderful to work with - responsive and professional! And fun to dance to. Not only did they play for our dance, but also had a jazz ensemble for our cocktail hour and pianist during dinner. We highly recommend them!! The bride & groom are both doctors and Mirage was just what the doctors ordered!

The Talk Of The Night

Absolutely Amazing!

Mirage was absolutely amazing! They are incredibly talented and the lead singer’s voice is a force of nature. They had our guests dancing the ENTIRE night and when it was time to shut down, my guests kept chanting “one more song” (to which they played two fabulous more songs!). If you are thinking about having them as your wedding band, believe me, you will not regret it. Our wedding was a blast thanks to them! When I see wedding guests for the first time since my wedding, they were still praising Mirage as “top 3 wedding bands I have ever seen.” They also were incredibly accommodating to our wedding schedule and song selections. Our first dance song had a very particular melody & lead in and we wanted them to stick with that and they played it right on the beat so we could feel confident in our first dance. I can’t thank them enough for bringing our wedding to life. 1000% would recommend!

Every Guest was talking about how AMAZING the band was!

They kept the party going the whole night! From our first interaction to the last dance, Lou, Darren, and the entire band made the process seamless. Their experience was recognizable from the start as they guided us through the process, answered all of our questions, and gave recommendations that made our wedding unforgettable. The band arrived early to set up, the stage was organized and the lights added great ambiance. We requested a keyboardist for the wedding, a jazz ensemble for the cocktail hour, and the 8-piece band for the reception. We chose 2 songs for the band to learn, provided a list of songs to play, and the band filled in the blanks. Darren is a great MC, directing the flow of the reception and he really knows how to read the crowd. Mirage is filled with extremely talented musicians- we still have friends and family asking about them! We cannot thank Mirage entertainment enough, we would recommend them to everyone and our day would not have been the same without them!

Best Wedding Band in STL!

Mirage is hands down the best wedding band in St. Louis!!! We had changed our wedding plans on them 3 times- thanks Covid- and they rolled with all the punches! In all the planning stages, they were very responsive and helpful, ensuring they had all the necessary details. Setting up for the reception, the venue changed their plans of where to set up. Yet again, they rolled with the punches! (we al liked the new spot better anyways) Their music was incredible! The lead singers can SING! They knew what songs to play when and how to interact appropriately with the guests during songs. They let our friend play a song on the drums too, which was great. Mirage made our wedding receptions absolutely perfect. 100% recommend!!!

Mirage is a blast! Highly recommend!

I love live music so knew I wanted a band but didn't know where to start. I submitted a request through WeddingWire for bands and got a lot of groups reaching out to me. It was a little overwhelming. However, Mirage clearly stood out quickly. They're very professional and super helpful. I talked to the group a few times and they knew exactly how to make my wedding come together. They gave me ideas on songs for the ceremony, music for the cocktail hour, and tips on how to make the reception even better. My whole group was on the dance floor throughout the night. They even let my dad perform a couple songs with them. I couldn't have asked for a better band and planning experience. Very well priced and worth every penny.

Best party band for your wedding

We are using Mirage for the third time in November. They are fun, professional and know how to get the party started and keep the dance floor full all night. We would cut expenses for the wedding on other things, but would never have a wedding reception without Mirage.

Excellent experience

At one point in time in the early summer, my fiancé and I considered cancelling our big wedding in St. Louis and trying to put together a destination wedding in Florida for just our family. We talked with each of our vendors to gain their perspective of what our reception would look like if we were to continue with our original plans. Of the numerous vendors that we had booked (and they were all very helpful), Mirage Entertainment provided the most insight and help with talking through the change in plans going forward. Once our minds were made up, we didn't look back and thank goodness for that, it was a wonderful evening.

We even threw the band a curveball (notice the baseball reference as we are both HUGE Cards' fans) and asked them to learn a different first dance song three weeks before our wedding day. I was told, "don't worry about it, we got this." And they sure did! (Virtual hug to all members of Mirage!)

We often joked that it would be hard to social distance at our reception as our family and friends LOVE to dance! It did help a bit as we unfortunately could not have all the guests that had planned to attend, but they understood......thank you dear friends! After dinner, it was three hours of nonstop dancing, which is exactly what we wanted.

I could go on, but by now, I think you get the idea that we were overwhelmingly ecstatic with Mirage, not only their performance, but for being by our side through the 'nerve racking' times.

We are already talking about holding a one-year anniversary party next year and invite EVERYONE from our original guest list. And you can bet, Mirage will be part of that fun.

Stress free wedding experience

What really set Mirage apart from the other bands was their communication, flexibility, and kindness. They are willing to travel out of state during a pandemic and deal with a unique schedule without any hesitation. The band invited me to a showcase at one of the members homes to be able to hear them live prior to booking and it was amazing! All of the members were very friendly and as soon as I heard them play “September” I was sold! About a month later COVID hit, and the stress of planning a wedding multiplied X100. Thankfully, Mirage stayed in communication with me and never caused me any stress during this crazy time. I am so glad that we booked Mirage for our upcoming wedding and can not wait to have them be apart of our big day!

The BEST wedding band EVER

Truly, choosing Mirage for our wedding band was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very beginning they were so easy to work with, relaxed and so professional. It made the planning stress-free and fun! We didn't follow a typical timeline; not only were happy to accommodate they didn't miss a beat on the day of the event! They learned several songs just for us including our first dance song (a specific version too which was soo special) and also a special song to surprise my in-laws who were celebrating their 51st wedding anniversary the exact same day. It was such a special memory, thanks to Mirage. Once the formal dances were finished, they got right to work and truly got EVERYONE up and dancing! Our photographer ended up staying late just to capture it!! They truly made our day so special and memorable. People still talk about our wedding day, and remember it as one fun party - this is in huge part to Mirage. Thank you guys again - you all know how to party!

Amazing experience and amazing band!

One word describes this band....... WOW! Given the set of circumstances we were faced with altering our wedding plans due to the pandemic, Darren and Lou went above and beyond to help guide us through something we never envisioned being faced with. Highly recommend this band for weddings. They provided an emcee for introductions as well. They were prompt and professional. They engaged the crowd. The music was excellent. Very entertaining. We received so many compliments on the live music.

Great experience, would book again!

Mirage was great to work with! They were super responsive, allowed us to come and watch them before we booked, and they even learned some songs that weren't a part of their set list for us. BEST Wedding Band

Mirage made our wedding reception an absolute blast!!! Guests did not leave the dance floor! They interacted with the crowd throughout the night and even let me sing a song to my groom! Kept the party going!

The Mirage band was so great to work with. They responded quickly and professionally to all of our questions. Our dance floor was literally packed to the point where our guests were dancing on the carpet surrounding the dance floor all the way until the party was over at 11. They played a good mix of older and newer music that kept all ages dancing. They were very accommodating to what we wanted as a couple, including letting my husband's uncle play the harmonica with them for one song. We would highly recommend the Mirage to any couple who wants their wedding to be a fun experience for their guests!

"Where's the bride?"...."On the dance floor!"

Mirage was AMAZING! They were great with communication and planning prior to the reception. They were on time the day of, even a little early! The music was phenomenal. Everyone was a dancing fool and I got so many compliments on my choice of band. My husband and I are so happy we picked Mirage for the entertainment at our wedding reception! Guests of all ages were on the dance floor all night long! Wonderful wedding band!

I attended a wedding that Mirage played at and had so much fun that I asked the couple for the band's contact information to book them for my own wedding. They were extremely responsive, flexible and friendly during the planning stages of the wedding. They learned a song for our first dance and took requests for some of our other favorite songs. The night of the wedding they were so professional, listened to our guests requests and made it such a fun evening. You can really tell they enjoy what they do! We got so many compliments on our wedding music. You can't beat this 8-piece band for the price they offer. They even offer ceremony and cocktail hour music! I highly recommend Mirage!

Dance Party Extravaganza!

Mirage was such a great choice for a band! I had been to a wedding with them before and it was so much fun, everyone danced all night long. Honestly when choosing a wedding date, I worked hard to make it work with their availability (in addition to the venue). Lou and Darren were very easy to work with and the band even learned 2 new songs for us! We opted for a playlist during the dinner hour, since I had songs I specifically wanted played, but the band kept everyone on the dancefloor after that! Incredible!!!

I don’t have enough good things to say about this band!! Our wedding was on the weekend of the huge snowstorm in St. Louis and they made it to the venue early to make sure they made it on time, they kept our guests on the dance floor the entire night, even during their breaks. I was blown away and would absolutely recommend Miarage to anyone. They were our “splurge” for our wedding and it was absolutely worth it! Absolutely incredible!!

Our guests raved about this band!

Our guests gushed about Mirage! We had some specific requests for more of a jazz brunch feel (since our reception was during the middle of the day), and they certainly delivered. They even allowed the groom to play a specific requested song with them on his trumpet, which was a highlight. While we had less dancing than most receptions due to the time of day, they were still able to fill the dance floor. They learned our first dance song too, because it wasn't in their repertoire, and played it beautifully. We went with Mirage because they were the most down-to-earth and fun band we interviewed, and we are so pleased! I think you will be too.

The wow factor you are looking for

Booking Mirage for our wedding was the best and easiest decision we made for our wedding. If you book Mirage you are guaranteed to have an epic wedding filled with dancing, fun, and a packed house all the way to the very end of your wedding. We were at a wedding 2 years ago that Mirage played at and we decided right then and there we would book them for ours one day. I think my husband proposed to me so he could have a wedding and book this band...:). It was everything we wanted and more and our friends have not stopped talking about them. They also went above and beyond by learning 2 special songs we requested, they made a special GOBO to light up the dance floor with our names on it, and also drove in from St. Louis to Kansas City no problem. I would recommend to anyone planning a wedding or event to do themselves a favor and put booking this band at the top of their list when working out your wedding or event budget. It is worth it and you get so much bang for your buck. They are the WOW factor that every bride and groom is looking for when planning a wedding that everyone will remember and talk about for all the years to come

Where to start! Working with Mirage was easy, fun, and professional. From the very beginning they were communicative, thorough, and enthusiastic about our wedding! Mirage was absolutely amazing!! We do not have enough GREAT things to say about the whole band, they really kept the entire party on the dance floor the whole night! It was such a wonderful time and they were the best!! From the first phone call to the very end of the evening, we could not have been happier with our choice! I absolutely loved having Mirage as our wedding band! We saw them at another friends wedding and made the decision almost right away that we wanted them. One of the easiest decisions of the whole wedding process. They were easy to get ahold of by email, which is perfect for me. But my mother also talked to them on the phone when she had questions. They also learned all of our first dance songs and tweaked them per our requests. We even paid for an extra hour and I’m glad we did because our guests asked for an encore. You will not regret having them at your wedding!

I was getting compliments on these guys before we even had our first song. They loved the background music during dinner!!!! The MC was funny! The two singers were awesome. So much energy and life these guys have. Every single band member was amazing. I would recommend them to anyone. They play everything...so everyone is happy and has something they love to dance to. I’m sad my day is over because they pushed it over the top!

THIS BAND IS AMAZING!!!! It's hard to express adequately, but Mirage was absolutely phenomenal! Our #1 goals was to have everyone dance all night and Mirage completely exceeded our expectations. It felt like we had our own private concert all night. They are truly amazing and unique with their large horn section and their ability to play anything! Darren put a person touch on it and kept everyone laughing and entertained all night. Lou was also incredible and helped me with all the details no matter how small or large they may have been. Everyone keeps talking about our wedding and how amazing our band was.

Mirage played at our September 30, 2017 wedding reception and cocktail hour in Quincy, Illinois, at the Quincy Country Club. They were absolutely amazing - for the cocktail hour, which was under an open tent on the golf course, they had someone playing the piano for some lighter background music, which was perfect, and then for the reception we had the 8 piece band. We got so many compliments from everyone about how fantastic the band was, and true to their word, the dance floor was packed all night. They were very easy to work with from the initial meeting to the end, and knew every song we asked them to play. Would highly recommend them even if you're not from the greater St. Louis area. Quincy is about 2 hours away and it was no issue.

We couldn't have asked for a better band for our wedding! The dance floor was packed the entire night, and our guests wanted more and more as the night came to an end. I highly recommend the Mirage Entertainment for any occasion. They were very easy to work with, and even learned two songs we had requested!

If you are getting married, you HAVE to book Mirage! Everyone at our wedding couldn't stop talking about how great the band was. Mirage played a great selection of music that people of all ages loved and kept the party going. Our dance floor was packed from the beginning of the night until the very end! Everyone in the band is super friendly and they truly want to make your night special. My husband and I will definitely be finding out where they are playing in the future to go listen to them play and have date nights!

I am so grateful that we were able to have Mirage Entertainment as our wedding band. They were truly AMAZING and were the highlight of our reception. They had everyone dancing the entire evening, played great songs and were the best band I have ever heard. Even two weeks after the wedding, guests are still telling me how wonderful the band was and how they plan to use them in the future. Additionally, I met with several of the band members before the wedding and they were very professional and genuinely kind people. We couldn't have selected better entertainment for our wedding and I can't wait to attend future weddings Mirage is playing at. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

Mirage was so helpful and flexible with my indecisiveness! They pointed me in the right direction for every song choice and put on an amazing show! We would not change have changed a thing related to our experience with Mirage!! The crowd was so and involved and I whole heartedly believe it was due to the performance Mirage presented. The crowd loved the band especially the vocalist and multiple instruments. Our twenty-something friends to sixty-something parents flocked to the dance floor all night. The band kept the crowd going with great variety throughout the night. We partied all night starting with the piano during cocktail hour, sweet vocals during dinner, and then party music all night. My only complaint is that a few clouds in the sky prevented the band from setting up in my desired location (outside). It never rained, not even a drop. I really wish we could have set up outside. If you book this band in St. Louis May/June, know that it is extremely unlikely that the band will set up outside.

Mirage had all of our guests on the dance floor all night. They kept the night lively and we had multiple guests come up to us at the wedding and say how much they loved the band. We would highly recommend them for a wedding or other special event!

We just celebrated the recent out of state weddings, of our daughter and youngest son and their spouses, with a "Hometown" reception and we are so happy we chose Mirage to provide our evening of music! We heard compliments all evening about how awesome Mirage was! Darren George, the manager, made it easy to plan out our package and was VERY responsive to my inquiries! Working with Darren and Lou ( lead guitarist) on our song selection was easy too. The vocalists and musicians of Mirage are top notch. We highly and enthusiastically recommend Mirage for your reception, party, or event as well as any WE would plan in the future- Mirage is that great! (P.S.) We were pleasantly surprised when Darren George offered a military discount upon hearing our new son- in- law had served as an officer in the Marines!

I have known the drummer of Mirage for quite a while. He always mentioned he played in a band, and that if I ever got married to look them up. Well, that was one of the best decisions we made! The entire band is both professional and very talented. Everyone at the reception kept commenting on how great the band was and taking their cards as well. They made the entire evening so much fun and can play such a wide variety of music! I hope I have another occasion for which I can book them someday!

Mirage was perfect for our New Years Eve wedding! Darren and Lou were amazing to work with while planning our wedding. They were always very timely with their responses and willing to do anything they could to make our day special. The band sounded great and kept our guests on the dance floor the whole night. Mirage had our wedding guests up and dancing from the moment we finished dinner until the band played a final encore for the screaming crowd! Mirage was professional, responsive, and accommodating through the entire process! So nice and easy to work with! They learned my husband's and my song, and played it perfectly for our first dance. Mirage is amazing!! They are so accommodating and eager to work with you. They will keep the party going all night long as they play the crowd very well. They will meet with you a week or two before the wedding to go over all the final details and make sure everything is perfect. If you want any personal song choices they will work with you and rehearse ahead of time to make it possible. They are very professional and easy to work with. Highly recommend them!

When my fiancé and I began planning our wedding reception, we both agreed on one thing - we wanted great music and dancing until the very end. Mirage delivered!
