We chose Michelle as our wedding photographer simply because we loved the elegant, natural, unposed style of her photographs—but she exceeded our expectations in every other way as well. She was incredibly professional, jumped in to help wherever needed on the wedding day, and thoughtfully planned out our first look photos when we weren't sure what we wanted. What a treat it was working with Michelle! From bridals to the wedding day she was extremely professional, prompt, flexible, and prepared. She came with a vision and it showed in the completed photos! Not once did we have to worry about photos on the “day of”. Michelle prepared a detailed timeline and had us prepare a list of “must haves”. This was our second wedding experience (first time using Michelle) and she far exceeded our expectations! Couldn't ask for a better experience
Everyone worries about finding the perfect photographer, and while that's absolutely a matter of taste, I can tell you with 100% confidence that we nailed it with ours. Michelle was the perfect cocktail of professionalism and personalization that you'd hope for in your wedding photographer. The fellas on the groom's side loved her sense of humor and the women on the bride's side connected with her appreciation and honor of the day. From a details perspective? I really appreciated that when she wanted myself and my bride to get to a pose, she had photos that she had researched online to show us and allowing us to move into, rather than moving us around like a couple of Barbie and Kens on our big day.
Additionally, our wedding was outdoors in the afternoon on a bright South Carolina Friday, so you can imagine the lighting she had to work with, but Michelle took photo after photo, ensuring that if one didn't keep, the other would.
Lastly, as everyone knows nothing goes according to schedule, but Michelle was kind enough to stay later into the day, as some things got pushed back and she generously stayed late to get some extra reception photos. I can't recommend Michelle enough for your wedding or any other event.

Michelle is by far the best photographer I have ever hired. She is responsive and takes gorgeous pictures. She communicated with us every step of the way and was able to corral our children into taking some really great shots. During the wedding, I was impressed out how she was able to get so many shots from different angles without us even realizing she was there. Best Wedding Photographer Out There!
My wife and I had the honor of having Michelle photograph our engagement pictures and wedding day. From the first time we met Michelle, she was very personable, professional, and made sure to connect with us to make sure she had all the details to make our day perfect. Our engagement pictures turned out amazing! She was very helpful, creative, and walked us through every step of the pictures she took to get the perfect shot. The day before our wedding day, our original venue lost power from hurricane helene, so we had to change venues last second, and Michelle was very flexible and adaptable as she was able to still capture our day without any issues. Mira Photographs was an absolute joy to work with from concept to our wedding day! Her professionalism, her artistic eye, her ability to find the just the right angle/lighting and pose were spot on resulting in a beautiful and meaningful gallery of memories that will last a lifetime. My (now) wife and I look back at these photos often to relive the joy and memories of the day: priceless!
And speaking of price, we received quotes from multiple photographers during the process and Mira Photographs was the lowest out of them all - by a long shot! You'd think with the lower cost, we sacrificed on the experience - - we did not! Our gallery of images stands tall beside the others photographers in town! The quality of the photos is impeccable, artistic, and memorable!

Michelle was our photographer for our engagement shoot and wedding. She did an excellent job of finding poses for our photos and picking locations to shoot at. Marvelous Photos by Mira Photographs
We are an older couple on our second marriage, and overall, Michelle truly captured the essence of our Special Day! She revealed our playful and fun sides and did a fantastic job of taking pictures of the wedding party before, during and after the ceremony, both indoors and outdoors. At our reception she recorded all the special moments by making sure to take photos of all the guests, displays, photo booth fun, food, cake cutting, band and DJ. Especially great was her capturing our grandkids having fun, and everyone dancing, including the special dances! Her attention to the details throughout the event assured that our pictures were as perfect as the day was! We would highly recommend her services to anyone, young or old... :)

Incredible photos, easy to work with - the best there is!
I cannot speak highly enough of Michelle! We were planning our wedding from out of state and picked Michelle before we even picked our venue. We ended up picking a venue in Tennessee and enjoyed working with her on our engagement photos so much that we were willing to do whatever it took go get her to come out to shoot our wedding as well! She was phenomenal on the day of, capturing incredible photos without us even noticing she was there most of the time. She was communicative with me, both before and during the wedding, and was great about making sure we got what we wanted. I about cried when I saw the photos - they are INCREDIBLE. Michelle's style was perfect for our winter wedding and she captured our vision flawlessly. As a former wedding photographer myself, I have to say she is about the best you can ask for. She is professional, easy to work with, has a fantastic creative eye, and gives you a lot of bang for your buck. I don't have a negative thing to say - Michelle is the best!!

Michelle was amazing to work with and the photos are GORGEOUS!!! We chose a package that included an engagement session with the wedding photos and a canvas print of one of our photos which was such a great deal. Being the first daughter to get married, with parents who got married at a fire hall 28 years ago, we had no idea the going rate for everything and it was a hard pill to swallow at first when we learned how much photographer can cost, but after seeing all the work and time that goes into photography and the equipment, i'm very happy with the cost and the experience with working with Michelle. My husband and i were clueless and felt so awkward in front of the camera at first but Michelle had pictures of poses to show us how to stand and i brought my MOH along to help and make us laugh - it was a great experience!

Gets to know you as a couple!
Michelle was a delight to work with for my wedding photography. She did a great job at posing my husband and me in a way that best fit us as a couple. Her photography shows attention to detail and high quality. We got a reasonable price for all we had Michelle do (engagement photos, bridal portraits w/ canvas displayed on wedding day, wedding day photos). I would highly recommend Mira Photographs for wedding photography!

Michelle was absolutely amazing to work with! She captured the wedding photos of our dreams, and worked with us to make sure we were comfortable throughout the whole process. The Best Photographer
Michelle was an absolute dream to work with! She made us feel comfortable and understood our personality and our dry jokes. She answered all of our questions whether they were wedding related or not. We used Mira Photography for both our engagement session and our wedding. When we were feeling weird about taking photos in Fall's Park with everyone watching, she was able to joke around with us and help us relax. The day of the wedding she was prompt and joking around with me and my family, and listening to my mother's demands. All in all, she's amazing and she helped me through the wedding process when I got stuck on anything. And she kept us on track the day of the wedding, even when the Groomsmen weren't on time.

The highest caliber wedding photographer
When we began searching for our photographer initially it was a daunting task. Go on to any wedding planning website and you'll be inundated with professionals with varying price ranges and quality of portfolios. Michelle's photography kept popping up on different search engines and I decided to reach out. Of all the potential photographers what stood out first was how polite she was and her quickness to set up a coffee date to discuss our planning. After our first meeting, I had no doubt she would be an excellent photographer and comfortable vendor to work with. What I didn't know is exactly how high caliber of a professional we had just hired.
Our wedding was outdoors, and so because of that, it poured rain. We lost power, trees went down blocking guests from arriving to the venue, the ceremony was postponed 1 1/2 hr. The entire time as I was pacing in my bridal suite Michelle was there to help me keep my cool (and also snapping some of the purest candid shots). Once we were finally able to get the show on the road she was out in the rain with us capturing our ceremony. She was unphased, upbeat, helped give me guidance, and was a true professional.
The day we received our wedding pictures I was overwhelmed with joy. They're stunning, and if you didn't know any different our wedding looks absolutely perfect. Not only am I and my new husband completely pleased with her photography the response from friends and family has been overwhelming. A friend said "...You're literally a Pinterest wedding dream". In summary, I truly feel like without hiring Mira Photographs our wedding day wouldn't have been captured in such a gorgeous way, and working with Michelle was even more of a treat. Your wedding day is stressful, but keeping professionals who know how to work around obstacles by your side will make all the difference.

Wedding photographer of my dreams!
My husband and I met with many photographers before finding Michelle to shoot our engagement and wedding photos and knew immediately that she was the one we were looking for. Her photos have a beautiful rich tone to them that is timeless - not like the trendy styles you often see that will look dated years later. These are just begging to be framed. Michelle has such a calming presence about her that put us both at ease, eliminated awkwardness and drew out our personalities during photo shoots - we were genuinely laughing and enjoying each other thanks to her quick wit and easy going personality. She also showed us examples of how to pose, which was so helpful! Since we received our wedding photos, my father who is in the printing business commented they were the most stunning wedding photos he had ever seen and I must agree! They are works of art that captured our emotions and the beauty of the venue so well, transporting us back to how that day felt. As a journalist myself, I highly value Michelle's journalistic style and trusted her completely - her experience shooting news gives her an eye for those candid, easy-to-miss moments. This is so hard to find! She seemed to be everywhere at once, and was able to capture things that happened quickly and spontaneously but were my favorite moments from our wedding day. As storms rolled into our outdoor venue, Michelle put me at ease with her calm demeanor, quick ideas, eye for beautiful backdrops and adaptability. She shot stunning photos with my husband and I under umbrellas, in the fog with horses in the background and somehow managed to make our "plan B" tented ceremony look beautiful. She's also extremely efficient and made up for lost time easily when we got off-schedule. Many of the groomsmen commented to my husband about how impressed they were with her (and they've been in dozens of weddings), saying that she kept them on track, breezed through group shots quickly and kept them laughing and having fun. I cannot recommend her enough!

Best decision!
Ok so I met with a couple different photography vendors and nothing compared. She is amazing! My husband and I had not ever been photographed together before and she directed us effortlessly when we were not 100% sure on what to do! If there was something we saw that we liked she would help us try to capture that. I am so happy we went with her! Our wedding pictures are beautiful and I am forever grateful for her work! Plus she is just one of the most down to earth people you will meet.

A priceless gift of captured moments
Michelle was everything (and more!) we wanted from our wedding photographer! We got to know each other during our engagement session, so by wedding day, Michelle was on it. I came across Mira Photographs after taking engagement photos with another photographer and being disappointed. Mira Photographs is everything I wanted in a photographer and more! Michelle and Chris are an amazing team and make you feel so comfortable and beautiful in front of the camera. What can I say about Michelle and Chris. They were absolutely amazing from start to finish. We were recommended Mira Photographs for our wedding by a close friend, and they did not disappoint. I had seen Michelle's work on Facebook for a couple years and always thought she did such amazing and creative work. When I got engaged I knew she would be my first choice. We just received our wedding photos back and they exceeded all of our expectations!! She and her husband Chris captured literally every moment of our wedding/reception from start to finish, yet we barely even knew they were there. Both my bridals and the shots of my husband and I on our wedding day were all so beautifully done! I have known Michelle for a few years now and recommend her to any and everyone I know. From family shoots to wedding photos she does it all, and very well! She photographed my engagements, bridals, and day of wedding and I could not be more pleased with everything !

I have seen Mira Phitographs work for years & knew when my wedding came that without a doubt that they would be my choice. They have several packages to choose from and we got exactly what we wanted. They were great to work with day of and everything very organized because they had us give them a list of the shots we would like to have. I just got my cd's back from them & I want to print EVERY picture!

I could not possibly say enough wonderful things about Michelle and Chris! We had the honor of having them photograph our engagement pictures, bridal portraits, and wedding ceremony and reception. Best decison we made by far! They made us feel comfortable in what could be an awkward situation (posing for our first professional photoshoot). Michelle and I communicated via email throughout the whole process which helped tremendously when making decisions on things such as location, first look, etc. Aside from their character, they are incredibly talented! All of our pictures were amazingly beautiful and we could never thank them enough for having a hand in making our day perfect. They became our friends and we are beyond thankful they took the journey with us on the biggest day of our lives. We look forward to the day when we get to work with them again. Michelle and her husband were phenomenal to work with. We were on a bit of a time crunch because the venue we picked only had a limited time slot. Our ceremony was more of an elopement style but they came in and got the job done flawlessly. We loved every picture and would recommended them to anyone! Michelle with Mira Photographs is the best photographer to have for any event! Not only are her pictures absolutely gorgeous and original (just check out her website), but she is amazing to work with! Super fun, personable, but direct in making the photo shoot or event go smoothly. I was fortunate enough to get to work with both she and her husband on all three photo shoots I had (engagement pictures, bridals, and wedding), and I can't say enough what fun I had working with them both! An absolute blast.
On my wedding day some unexpected things happened to detour our picture timeline, but Michelle (being the incredible professional that she is) didn't miss a beat and made it work without me even having to worry about anything. I also appreciated how easy she was to get in touch with, and how she would text just to see how planning the wedding was going. An amazing person as well as photographer. She's just the best there is in town! Can't wait to work with her again in the future for other events!

I am so pleased I used Mira for my wedding! My pictures are amazing and they totally exceeded my expectations! Michelle and Chris have a creative advantage that I have never seen before. The lighting is always perfect and they pay such close attention to detail. I have had so many compliments on my photos and have refered many friends. Loved, loved, loved working with Mira Photographs for my Engagement, Bridal, and Wedding photographs. I was awe struck with all 3 sets of my photos! When I first began planning my wedding, I had no idea the important role a photographer would play in my wedding experience. They are pretty much by your side the whole day, so it is crucial that a comfortable relationship is set in place! For us, this was so easy! The photographers at Mira become your friends and allow you to feel relaxed and have fun, while at the same time, possess proficient and artistic skills to capture your experience beautifully. I can't recommend them highly enough! If you want pictures that will blow you away, then hire Mira Photographs!

Michelle and Chris are incredible to work with, and with talent through the roof. They're good at all photography, but are especially graceful in understanding the stress that can come with a wedding. They're as good with intimate couple shots as they are with loud uncooperative families, and the end result is worth ANY wait time you have, though photos are usually edited well before Michelle says they will be! We can't WAIT to use them for many more milestones.

Mira Photographs is by far the very BEST photography service in the Upstate of South Carolina! The prices are so reasonable for the level of service they provide! We hired Mira to photograph our engagement, bridals and wedding and couldn't have been happier with the results! They showed us the utmost respect while working with us, were flexible with our busy schedules and had an amazing turnover time after our shoots! Michelle and her husband were GREAT with our engagement pictures, bridals, and wedding. They met us where ever we requested and spent as much time needed to get the perfect shot. With both of their views there were too many amazing shots to choose from. Every session came out better than I could imagine and I couldn't ask for more. Michelle also recently did portraits of my cat and they were beautiful! I recommend everyone I know to Mira Photographs, you will not be disappointed! They are the best around!!

Michelle and her husband Chris took our engagement pictures, bridal portraits, and wedding photos and we couldn't be more pleased with the overall outcome. From the moment I contacted Michelle to potentially be our wedding photographer, I knew she was the perfect match for us. She's so incredibly easy to work with, nice, thoughtful and professional all while maintaining a calm demeanor that definitely helped me as a bride never get stressed out or anxious about the photography portion of our wedding day. Michelle knew what I wanted even before I did and her intuition for what couples' will want in their wedding photographs is spot on. Day-of, she and her husband partner were dreams to work with and maintained that cool and collected attitude that helped put everyone at ease and resulted in photos I cannot stop looking at. Her eye for the right lighting and moments is dead on, and I'm so happy she pulled my husband and I away for a few moments from the cocktail hour and reception to get some pictures with a truly stunning sunset. I cannot recommend her enough for your wedding, engagement or family photographs; I can assure you the experience and photographs will be better than you could have expected.
