Mint did a fantastic job filming our wedding in May 2023. Chris was very responsive while we worked out the logistics before the event, and Sally and Calvin were absolutely wonderful on the day of. We received our films this past week and are thrilled with the result. We would highly recommend them if you want a quality recording of your wedding alongside top-notch customer service. -

We can't say enough good things about the team at Mint, from start to finish they were a pleasure to work with! Chris always got back to us right away with any questions we had, and was so helpful during our planning process. Zach did an INCREDIBLE job at capturing our wedding day, especially the little details we wanted, and half the time we didn't even realize he was there! They are so talented at what they do, truly couldn't be happier with the finished product and everything in between!! Thanks guys!! -

Lashawn Sent on 10/25/2016There aren't enough words to describe how amazing Mint Cinematography is. We were referred to them by our wedding photographer who worked alongside them in the past. It was a huge plus being able to see examples of their work on Vimeo prior to hiring them...it was the best way to see what they were capable of creating, and ultimately the reason why we felt so sure about choosing Mint. What we loved more than anything was their style....unique, classy and carefully personalized to each couple they work with. The quality is outstanding and I truly felt like we were the starts of our very own mini movie. This is not your average "wedding video", and the very reason why they are cinematographers, and not videographers.
Communicating with them was easy from the beginning...they were professional, pleasant and promptly answered every question I had over the course of a year. They were right on time on the wedding day and blended in so well I didn't realize they were filming half the time. And they are just plain fun to be around! We discussed some final song choice details before the trailer was made and when we finally received it (a ridiculously fast turnaround) we were speechless! They have an incredible talent for queuing songs to all the right moments and creating a beautiful story from the most meaningful parts of the day. They didn't miss a thing! Everything was captured to perfection. My husband and I are beyond thrilled with the end product and everyone who has watched it has said they cried. Even people who weren't at our wedding! That's the kind of magic Mint can do. We will be indebted for life.

User2104614 Sent on 04/21/2015We were recently married less than a month ago, and part of the huge success of the day can be attributed to a great group of vendors that we carefully sought out to help make our Wedding Day as memorable as possible. And one of our vendors was Mint Wedding Cinematographers. When I came across their vimeo page, I connected with their work and overall style. I was fortunate enough to work with Chris during the planning phase, and there were a lot of emails and questions I had which he answered with patience and clarity. He really worked with us on pricing, and we found Mint to be the best option for us for more reasons than one. When we finally met Chris on our wedding day, he was really calm and easygoing and he worked unobtrusively alongside our photographer. He was there to capture all the special and important moments and paid great attention to detail. Most of the time, I didn't even realize he was there so it surprised me when we got our draft videos back within a few short weeks after our event, and saw how close he got during all the important and critical moments of the day. Overall, we are truly pleased with our experience with Mint and we think Chris is very professional and approachable, which are two of the best traits to find in a wedding cinematographer.

User1938450 Sent on 11/24/2014I initially was going to pass on videography for my wedding, mainly because I thought all wedding videos were cheesy, but my fiancé at the time insisted he wanted one. While searching around, I came across Mint, and immediately fell in love with their documentary-styled films. Not only did they capture my wedding day in the most natural way, but on my actual wedding day, since he was so non-intrusive, I forgot at times he was even there! I received so many comments from people about how amazing the end product was, and a few friends have already expressed interest in using them for their own wedding in the near future! -

Our videos are beyond beautiful, of course, but the experience from top to bottom was so positive with Mint.
We had a venue change and tons of confusion after our original venue shut down and took all of our money with it, and the guys at Mint were so happy to roll with the punches and adapt to our constantly-changing plans in the last three months before our date.
On the day-of, almost no one even realized we had a videographer there. They were so gracious and considerate of our celebration, our guests, and our experience -- they fit right in with the vibe of our event and we barely even noticed them.
We have the most gorgeous memories of our wedding, and we cannot recommend the kind, talented artists at Mint enough. -

Lia Sent on 03/22/2015Booking Mint Cinematography was one of many great decisions we made during our wedding planning. Booking a cinematographer was one of the last things we did. The truth is, we were unsure if we would be able to hire based on our budget and everything we had already spent. As our wedding day approached I really did not want to give this up! I needed our day captured!! Especially seeing how much amazing talent is currently out there! I did a ton of research and was not too happy with what I was finding. In order to get great quality footage, rough, edited and a trailer you had to be ready to pay up! We stumbled upon Mint’s website and then our photographers Cottonwood Studios recommended we check them out. We set up a meeting with Mint at a coffee shop in Brooklyn. We loved their work from our research and felt really good about this meeting. Their style of shooting, non invasive, capturing the true events and feel of the day was what attracted us to them in addition to the modern feel of their editing and even look of their website. When we met with Mint, they were super chill and laid back! A match made in heaven for my husband and I who were really just trying to make decisions that felt right. Mint felt right. We booked during the meeting. On the day of the wedding, Mint arrived on time and got right to work. My husband and I were in the same hotel so they were able to easily spend time with both the men and women while we all got ready. They were so good at their job I often did not even notice them there. When looking back at the footage I am still in awe of everything they captured. I kept saying to myself “How and When did they get this?!” They were totally not in our way at all during that day as I have seen at other weddings! We got everything on our wish list, the rough footage, a feature edit and a trailer. We sent our music picks for the video and it was pure perfection. User1901812 Sent on 11/03/2014First of all, my husband and I did not want a videographer for our wedding. We didn't want a lot of strangers there, being all invasive with jumbo cameras, and taking a cheesy wedding video that would make us misremember the magic of our wedding day. But, my mother insisted that we have one, so my sister shopped around on our behalf- and can I say that we are THRILLED that my sister found Mint Cinematography.
After viewing some of their sample films online, my husband and I met up with Chris at a little coffee shop in Brooklyn and we talked all about what we did and did not want. And Chris was totally cool. He listened to us, and understood us. He wasn't pushy or cheesy or crazy wedding industrial complex aggressive, he was just a normal guy who likes to make films.
We wanted a smaller package, because again, NON invasive was our biggest concern, but we had a lot of performance elements in our wedding. So, promising that he would not be invasive at all, Chris offered to throw in a second videographer for a few hours to help capture some of the more complicated performances at no extra charge. He just wanted to make sure that he captured our wedding as accurately as possible. And Chris was totally true to his word, Zach (the second videographer) and Chris were so non invasive and they used such small cameras that most people at the wedding didn't even know that anyone was there filming at all!
But the best part is that both the trailer and the feature length films that Chris made for us were so perfect. They were artistically shot and edited and completely captured the essence of our wedding day. My husband and I were both blown away by the final product. Another great thing is that the films captured a lot of details that our photographers missed, and vice versa. So it is really fun to have more than one perspective to capture all of the meaningful details of your wedding day.
We LOVE our wedding videos that Mint made. That is all.

User1750152 Sent on 08/05/2014I'll start off by saying I did not want videography and had serious anxiety at the thought of being filmed (eek!). However, having video was absolutely a necessity for my mother-in-law.
Unfortunately for me, I realized very quickly that I hate wedding videography. I saw so many cheesy/unprofessional/boring videos and was getting incredibly discouraged...until I finally saw Mint. I fell in love with their videos on their website and emailed them almost immediately. Even from the beginning I was upfront with them and asked what equipment they use, how discrete they are, etc. I meant business! They responded promptly and quelled my fears (or as much as they could).
Well on my wedding day when I met Zach every fear went out the window. He is one of the nicest and friendliest guys! By the time we had to leave for the ceremony I was already joking with Zach as if I knew him for years. The combination of their equipment actually looking like photography cameras and their amazing personalities, I felt completely comfortable. It was if we just had extra friends with us on the wedding day!
So once Zach emailed me about starting our video, I literally could not wait to see it! And holy moly...they are just amazing. Everything just came together so beautifully and I really appreciated the work and creativity that went into completing our video. It FAR surpassed my expectations for a wedding video. Literally every person who has seen it has either cried, gasped, or commented on how unique it is!
Bottom line, Zach and the whole team at Mint are a truly talented and creative bunch who know how to make AMAZING wedding videos. Honestly, I'm kind of sad I don't have a reason to email Zach anymore!
