Griffin was amazing!

Our ceremony truly would not have been the same without Griffin. We knew he was the perfect officiant for us after our first in-person meeting. Griffin was flexible and stayed with us while we rescheduled our wedding twice due to COVID. He made it incredibly easy to plan our perfect wedding incorporating music, readings, and elements of several ceremonies. Griffin structured the flow seamlessly. He was very organized for our rehearsal and made sure the actual ceremony would be flawless. We received numerous compliments on our ceremony and Griffin’s fantastic presence.

Easy, breezy, beautiful!

Working with Griffin was an absolute pleasure and soooooo easy. He took the stress out of our ceremony while adding fun and easy preparation, while keeping us focused on what really is important about a wedding - our commitment to each other! His top-notch service is unmatched and his attention to detail and organization was incredibly valued by us!

Griffin was wonderful! He is great to work with, listens to how you want to make your ceremony, and helps create it! My husband and I received a lot of compliments on how great our ceremony was. We were extremely pleased with our choice.

Perfect for our needs

Working with Griffin was extremely easy and contributed greatly to the ease with which our wedding happened. Despite all three of us being in separate locations for most of the time leading up to the wedding, Griffin was more than able and willing to accommodate and work with us to get everything planned out appropriately. He was very helpful and always quick to respond when we had questions or needed something from him. We never had to worry about the quality or timeliness of his work. He was even able to perform our wedding just across the border in Wisconsin. We highly recommend Griffin to anyone in the twin cities area looking for a wedding officiant. We couldn’t have asked for someone better suited to our needs.

What a great experience!

Where to begin? From our first meeting with Griffin at Caribou Coffee until our wedding day, it was such a pleasure to work with Griffin. His warm personality and demeanor made us feel so comfortable throughout our whole process! And he always knew how to throw in some humor when any of our conversations began to start sounding and seeming serious. Griffin is amazing!

Griffin Dunlop- The Minnesota Marrying Man

Our whole experience was great from the start. We found him searching online for someone to marry us, not in a church, and kind of a non traditional, hybrid wedding service. We wanted some religious touches, but we also wanted to do our own vows. Griffin was very accommodating. Providing us with multiple examples of services, readings, vows, etc, we were able to compile the best excerpts of what he offered, and incorporate our own vows. I think the most comforting part of working with Griffin is if you have a vision of how you want you wedding service to go, he will do pretty much anything in his power to support you in making that dream a realization.

My husband and I were married by Griffin in September, and we are so grateful we chose him! We live out of state and he was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process. He created the perfect ceremony for us which pleased our family and friends, and he was so incredibly helpful on the rehearsal day guiding us through the entire proces. We highly recommend him as an officiant!

Griffin , was very helpful with getting to know you as a couple and willing to work with you to make it easy for you and your partner for your wedding. Its your wedding and he is willing to do what you want for your wedding and not try to change it but offer suggestions on what he thinks you could do to make it smooth sailing. I would recommended him for anyone's wedding, Price is very reasonable and he will get back to you on any questions you have in a fast and timely manner. He is very nice and friendly. He's a funny guy and loves to tell stories. I am glad my husband and I picked him to do our wedding everyone had nothing but great things to say about him and we all agreed. :) The cost is reasonable and depending on what service you want depends on price. send him a email and he quote you prices.

Working with Griffin to plan our wedding ceremony was such a joy! No question was too silly! He met with us to plan the ceremony of our dreams. As my husband and I aren't particularly religious, we headed to the internet to find someone that was able to marry us. Everything from our initial meeting with him to our actual wedding day was a lovely experience full of laughter and meaning! Griffin is an agreeable and accepting individual who quickly put us at easy, making it seem as if we had known him for years! Our ceremony had a few unique twists (unique unity ceremony, Irish handfasting ceremony, and jumping the broom) and Griffin did put in the extra work to make sure he was comfortable and familiar with all before the day of the wedding! I am so thankful that I found him so quickly, and that we didn't hesitate to book him! It was nice to have one less thing on my endless list of things to do because I was confident that Griffin had it all taken care of!

Griffin was wonderful and so easy to work with! I received many compliments from my guests on what a great job he did (funny, but not over the top, pleasant to listen to, great speaker). He has lots of ceremony ideas if you need help getting started, and will create one that is unique and meaningful to you. He really seems to love what he does and it definitely showed at our wedding!

Griffin was incredible to work with from the very beginning!! I would strongly recommend buying the package that allows 2 meetings and a rehearsal! I found this so helpful and it put me as ease knowing he was going to make sure our ceremony went absolutely perfect! And he did! Griffin sends multiple ceremonies for you to pick from and recreate into your own! He was professional, timely, and fun to work with!! My husband and I are so happy we went with him!

Griffin was so helpful throughout the process for our sons wedding on Sep 16, 2017. He was always responsive to e-mails getting back to us the same day or within minutes on most occasions. He met with the bride and groom on 2 occasions and we communicated through e-mail on the ceremony timeline. The rehearsal went great even though it was pouring rain out. He led the wedding party through many contingencies depending on what mother nature dealt us.

Griffin's tone and sincerity were felt by all even during a light drizzle during the ceremony. Also he worked well with interruptions by the couples children during the ceremony. He helped make sure the music, the children and the wedding party were on que during the ceremony. It was such a pleasure to have Griffin for the officiant of the couples wedding day!

At first we were a little nervous about having someone we didn't know marry us. Griffin had my husband at fantasy football. He was very attentive and always responded to my emails right away. Rev. Griffin was fantastic to work with, start to finish! He answered all of my questions quickly, and used his many years' experience to guide us to the best ceremony for us. Griffin was the officiant at our 02/06/15 wedding at the Crowne Plaza in downtown St. Paul. We couldn't be happier with his services, and I was worried about the ceremony from the start. We were planning a wedding in 10 months, currently do not belong to a specific church, and have parents who think a church is the ONLY way to go. Griffin was recommended by a friend, and thank God for that. When we first met him, I was nervous, because writing and planning your ceremony and vows is a personal thing, and we don't know this person. From the start, he was easy to talk to, helpful, eased all stress I had. He helped make our ceremony both romantic, and spiritual. Nobody commented on the no church thing after our ceremony, everyone loved it. We received tons of compliments, and we have Griffin the thank for making the ceremony perfect.

Griffin was all we could have asked for and more out of an officiant. He is very informative and gives the couple all the freedom to structure their ceremony how ever they would like it. He made sure everyone knew their part on the day of the wedding and made it as comfortable for my wife and I as it could be. Griffin was absolutely AMAZING to work with. My sister recommended him to us after she had had him officiate her wedding a few months before ours. My husband and I got along with him wonderfully and he had such a great attitude and approach to officiating our wedding. There were some technical difficulties during our ceremony and Griffin navigated through them flawlessly and had our guests and us laughing through it all. We really couldn't be happier with choosing him as our officiant. He was very flexible and responsibe to our wishes. You would be doing yourself a favor by choosing him because he makes the whole process painless and enjoyable. We can't thank him enough!

Griffin was great to work with! He gave us total freedom with what was read at our wedding. We didn't have a rehearsal and he did a great job of running the family and bridal party through the steps right before the ceremony. My husband and I, and our guests, thought he did a great job with the ceremony. Griffin is a terrific guy and we would hire him again!

Griffin Dunlop is an amazing celebrant and a great man! My now husband and I were overseas while trying to plan our Minnesota wedding and Griffin was a priceless asset to us. He was always prompt with his responses to our endless questions and he would go out of his way to help us with any tricky planning issues. We were dealing with many stressful projects due to living in Australia, migrating visas, and planning a wedding so far from Minnesota, but he was always reliable and would go above and beyond to help us! During our few meetings before the wedding, he was so easy to work with, was incredibly patient with our unique needs and made us feel so at ease with the whole planning process. On the rehearsal night and wedding day, he was great with our family and guests and made the day so smooth and wonderful. I would highly recommend Griffin to anyone and I would definitely return to him for any future events!

Griffin made our day extra special!! He was extra helpful with planning, answering questions and giving advice about our ceremony layout. He gave us the idea of using our lock box for our keepsake vs doing the traditional sandpour or joining of candles (which still today, guests are telling us how neat the lock box is). He made the whole ceremony (and leading up to) feel totally comfortable. Griffin has an extraordinary personality that is sure to fit any bride/grooms needs. Griffin added humor, yet was still sentimental when needed. Jeff and I could not have chosen any better person to officiate our special day!! He truly made our ceremony one to remember!!

We were stressing about finding an officiant, creating our vows and our ceremony. We met with Griffin and immediately knew he was the man for the job. He made it effortless for us; from helping create our vows, to the flow of our ceremony. Everything went smoother than expected. I would highly recommend Griffin for your wedding officiant!

Griffin was amazing! I must admit, my organization leading up to my wedding left a little to be desired, and my procrastination was evident, but Griffin was always patient and flexible. If he felt any stress - I never sensed it. He truly tailored the ceremony to our wishes, and did everything we asked of him. All of my guests were amazed by the uniqueness of the ceremony - which we wanted, and we couldn't have done it without all of Griffin's amazing ideas. He is a professional, and has charisma to make everyone in the room feel comfortable and included. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone!

We are so happy to have had Griffin as our ceremony officiant. He was so easy to work with and very accommodating. My husband and I are not members of a church and did not get married in a church, so I had some anxiety in choosing the person to perform our wedding ceremony. It was important to us that we could write our own vows but Griffin let us write our entire ceremony. So many of our guests commented on how it was one of the most personal ceremonies they had attended and this was largely a reflection of Griffin.

His rates are reasonable and he was always quick to respond to my many questions. He took the time to meet with us, get to know us, and also talk through the logistics of planning a ceremony. He is so friendly and has a great sense of humor. He was personable and attentive. I would highly recommend him.

We love Griffin! He did a fantastic job at our ceremony and was so helpful before the ceremony as well. He took care of coordinating with the people doing the music and readings at our ceremony, and even talked through the ceremony with the photographer so they would be in the right spot at the right time. We honestly don't know how we would have made it through our big day without him.

Griffin is GREAT to work with. He offers many examples of ceremonies/readings/vows/poems to choose from and lets you completely customize your entire ceremony from start to finish.

We would have given Griffin 5/5 stars on all aspects of our wedding, had he not made the claim after our ceremony that we had not paid him in full. He tracked down family members and said he wouldn't release the marriage certificate until he was paid. We had payed him in full, and he had cashed the check two weeks prior to our wedding. We spent the evening fretting about something that could easily had been avoided had he approached it differently. We're sorry that an otherwise good experience with our officiant turned sour at the end due to a simple misunderstanding that created a great deal of anxiety.
