Words truly cannot express how wonderful Minister Steve was to work with. We were so honored to have him officiate our wedding over Memorial Day weekend. It made our special day even more meaningful, especially since it was also his birthday!
From the very beginning, the entire process was seamless and stress free. Every time we communicated, it felt like we had known him for years. His warm personality, responsiveness, and genuine care made us feel completely at ease.
My husband and Minister Steve connected right away over their shared love of football, which added such a fun and personal touch. We chose the “Full Monte” ceremony package, and it exceeded all of our expectations. Our wedding took place in Hagerstown, Maryland, and he guided us clearly through the process of obtaining our marriage license, even offering support if we ran into any issues.
Despite some hiccups during the rehearsal due to rain and scheduling conflicts with our wedding party, Minister Steve remained calm, reassuring, and incredibly supportive. As a type-A bride, that meant everything to me, he truly helped ease my nerves and reminded me that everything would come together beautifully (and it did!).
He is extremely knowledgeable and guided us through every detail of the ceremony, from the sermon to the vows, pronunciation tips (yes, “lawfully wedded” not “waffly wedding” 😊), and even timing moments like pausing after “you may kiss the bride” for photos. Even when we forgot that pause on the big day, he handled it perfectly by bringing us back with a funny comment that had all of our guests laughing.
Speaking of laughter, his delivery during the ceremony was absolutely perfect. He incorporated lighthearted, meaningful one-liners that reflected who we are as a couple, making the ceremony both heartfelt and memorable for everyone in attendance.
I truly don’t think our wedding would have been the same without him. Minister Steve was supportive, kind, responsive, and truly felt like part of our journey. He’s not only an amazing officiant but also someone you enjoy connecting with on a personal level.
I would recommend him to anyone and everyone not just for officiating weddings, but as a genuinely wonderful person to work with and know. -

The Perfect Day!
We had the most beautiful fall day for our wedding and the perfect ceremony. We wanted a very small and intimate ceremony and that is exactly what Minister Steve gave us. He took the time to learn what we wanted and then wrote the most beautiful ceremony. We couldn’t have been more happy. -

Highly recommend
I met Steve at church years ago. It was always a pleasure to hear him preach when our pastor was away. He shared he was doing weddings but I didn't believe I would ever need his services. Fortunately, I took in a young man who became my bonus child. When he told me he wanted to get married, my first thought was Steve. The two of them are a young couple (20 and 21.) He worked with them on the whole process. There were lots of options provided. In the end, they selected a short, sweet and non-religious service. It was exactly what was needed for our small outdoor wedding. He put them at ease during the service and there were many laughs. Yes. I highly recommend Steve for being able to work with young and old, providing all the steps needed to get married, providing many options and being very personable to all. -

I had the pleasure of working with minister Steve for my wedding day, and it was one of the best decisions. My husband and I are not very religious and we did not have anyone we knew personally to marry us. Our wedding planner recommended minister Steve and he did not disappoint. He was timely and communicated with us effectively. He sent us our ceremony well in advance and made changes even the day before the ceremony, because I am so indecisive. We were thrilled with our ceremony and the personal touches he added to make it our own. He even handled mailing in our marriage license and made this process so easy for us. -

I wrote our ceremony script in full and Steve edited it to fit his style and verbiage. On our wedding day Steve sought us both out and discussed how things would go which greatly assuaged my anxiety. We worked with Minister Paul Bellis for our wedding ceremony, and he was absolutely wonderful! He was open to all suggestions I had, welcomed diversity, and was willing to make any desired changes, not that there really were any. He wrote and performed an absolutely beautiful ceremony that many of my guests were raving about afterwards. He answered all of my questions throughout the planning process, and handled all of our after marriage paperwork in a very prompt manner. He was also extremely kind, and arrived early to both our rehearsal and reception. Would highly recommend for any denomination of couple looking for a wedding officiant! -

Oh my gosh, where do I even begin!? Right from the start, Squall and I knew we wanted someone authentic and down to earth—a stuffy wedding ceremony wasn’t for us! We quickly stumbled upon Minister Steve, and it was like the clouds opened up and the universe said, “hire him!!” Naturally, we wasted no time and I’m so grateful for our choice! We felt like we selected the dream team of wedding vendors, and felt even more secure in our choice when our wedding coordinator was nothing short of elated to hear Steve would be officiating our ceremony. As with a lot of our vendors, Minister Steve quickly felt like an old family friend instead of a hired wedding vendor. We’re from out of state, and Minister Steve helped walk us through getting our marriage license in PA, kept up with necessary license timeframes, and took care of getting everything to the court afterward; there was nothing for us to expect show up and say happily say, “I do!” Our ceremony felt truly personal and unique to us, and completely captured the vibe we were going for. Minister Steve Helped Make our Special Day Perfect
Since this was a 2nd marriage, we just wanted a small, quaint ceremony with close friends and family. We decided we would get married at a park and I was so afraid it would be "lame" but it was anything but that. Minister Steve helped us every step of the way, he checked in often and confirmed details the day before the ceremony. He gave us many options in terms of content for the ceremony so that it was tailored just the way we wanted. Once he put the ceremony script together, he shared it with us so we knew exactly what to expect. The service was so personalized because we helped choose the content. We were very pleased and couldn't have asked for a better person to marry us. Many of our friends commented that it was one of the best weddings they ever attended because it was so personalized (and Minister Steve even threw some humor into his message). We had a great experience working with Minister Steve and Minister Paul. We planned our wedding throughout the pandemic and without meeting many of our vendors in person. Minister Steve was so friendly and kind on the phone it was hard to imagine Minister Paul would be any different. He was so nice and fit perfectly in to our wedding. Personable & Professional
We are so extremely happy that we hired Minister Steve for our daughters wedding. He was quick to reply to any emails and helpful to walk us through the situation where our home church minister was unable to marry them due to Covid concerns.
Minister Steve was personable, professional, and so friendly. Everyone from our friends to our family commented on how wonderful he was.
He gets to know the couple through questionnaires and virtual meetings so he can personalize their wedding ceremony to be exactly what they wanted it to be. He also sent them a nice list of reading and verses to be able to choose from for the ceremony.
We would highly recommend Minister Steve to anyone else looking to get married and have that personal touch, humor, and compassion shine through.
(Additional note about one of the attached photos: Minister Steve let our daughter & son in law know that they needed to kiss when people kept clinking their glasses because they were not aware. It was a sweet & funny moment that everyone got a chuckle from!)

Minister Steve is the absolute BEST
What a wonderful day! Minister Steve was amazing. He reached out to me quickly to get some basic information on what we were looking for. I knew immediately that he was exactly what we were looking for. He took care of the whole service, sent us different prayers and poems, and put together a beautiful ceremony. We were looking to surprise our family at our Xmas in July party and Steve was more than happy to play along. He showed up as a code enforcer, measuring our tent, water slide and stating to our family that we had amassed a $550 FINE. My family went nuts! I ran towards the house to get my "checkbook". Steve stops me... Literally says, "how long have you two been together", while my family was yelling at him that our time together doesn't matter..... He turns to us and says "Ok, if you two agree to marry today, I will drop all the fines" ... Our family completely lost it. Minister Steve took a fun family day, and turned it into a beautiful moment! Thank you so much for that you did for us. If I could give 1,000 stars to rate this man? I WOULD..... Officially.... My husband & I looked through numerous officiants trying to find someone that fit us as a couple. We both felt that we needed someone who could incorporate a meaningful ceremony into our wedding and we definitely found that in Minister Steve! Prior to the wedding, we met with Steve to discuss details, kept in touch throughout the process and caught up again at our rehearsal for the wedding. All communication was courteous, he was very punctual and always one step ahead. During our wedding, we wanted to perform handfasting and wanted minimal religious notations which Steve fulfilled greatly. The ceremony and service were worded and delivered beautifully and he gave us a script to check over beforehand too to check if we wanted to make any changes. All in all, our wedding wouldn't have been the same without him and we couldn't have picked anyone better. Highly recommend this wonderful man! -

Minister Steve was fantastic! Our DJ was late and Minister Steve saved the day because he brought speakers and a microphone just in case! He made us feel so comfortable and spoke so eloquently. It was a pleasure speaking with him prior to the wedding to fine-tune the ceremony. Would highly recommend Minster Steve - thank you for everything! -

Minister Steve was the best officiant we could have asked for! The ceremony and our vows was my favorite part of my wedding day, and this is largely in part to Minister Steve's thoughtfully planned words! He is so kind and fun to be around, and he also keeps everyone where they are supposed to be! He is such a down to earth person! My husband and I, and everyone else in our wedding party felt very comfortable throughout the whole ceremony! Thank you Minister Steve! -

Minister Steve was the best choice for our ceremony. Not only was he flexible with our schedules, he was open to all our ideas and worked with us on incorporating a tree planting, our kids and our dog in the ceremony!
He was diligent and timely with the legal paperwork, one less thing we had to manage that day.
Our families are still talking about the wonderful ceremony! -

We were so blessed to have Steve as our minister for our wedding. Our original minister (a family friend) had to unexpectedly back out last minute. Steve responded fast, was willing to help us out in a crunch, and was super flexible by booking us just a few hours after another wedding already booked on our date. I really appreciate his patience when working with us during rehearsal. We loved his friendly personality and great sense of humor, which he added to our wedding! I would highly recommend Steve to anyone looking for a wedding minister. We will forever be grateful for his part in making our dream day come true! -

My fiancée (now wife!) put me in charge of hiring an officiant. I found a listing for this gentleman that was highly reviewed, took the time to look the part, and -- bonus -- offered a military discount. After a couple of emails, I was good, Minister Steve was in, and my box was checked.
When the time was getting close, Steve checked in and said it was time to meet to plan out the ceremony. There were maybe six emails and a coffee meeting during this phase, but at that point Steve's very likable nature became apparent. We quickly realized we didn't just want this guy to show up and make things official, we wanted him there to be a part of it. And he very much was.
In terms of what to expect, Minister Steve is an organized officiant. He'll talk to you about what to expect, and from the initial conversations will put together some choices that enable you to make the ceremony exactly what you want, always checking to make sure you don't miss anything you aren't aware of. He's exactly the right mix of firm (when dealing with the cat-herding of dealing with organizing your bridal party) and fun, determining where your sense of humor is and blending right in with it.
If you aren't getting married in a church, you need an officiant, so if you're reading this you're just looking to make sure you get one more thing done on that long list. If your smart and/or fortunate enough to hire him, Minister Steve is a really good guy that you will be very glad you made a part of your day. We certainly are!! -

Minister Steve did such an amazing job! He was very supportive, responsive, and had a huge part in helping my husband and I feel calm, believe it or not, on our wedding day. My husband and I wrote our own vows and my vows were to him and his daughter. I was obviously extremely nervous and during the rehearsal he had reassured me that everything will be OKAY, take deep breaths and just pretend it is only us up there when speaking. When the day finally came, and it was my turn to read my vows, I honestly felt like it was only us up there. Saying my vows to my husband and now stepdaughter felt more intimate than I anticipated which made the day extremely special to us. The day turned out perfect and Minister Steve played a part in that. We couldn't recommend him more. He will not disappoint! Thank you, Steve for everything!! -

Our officiant cancelled a few weeks before we got married...they double booked, Steve took us on and made me feel at ease! We got married in the water, yes you read that right IN the water... Steve was flexible and worked with us to create a ceremony that reflected us as a couple and quite literally got his feet wet! He made our ceremony about water. We are thankful for minister Steve and couldn't recommend him enough! -

His beautiful words will forever be a fond memory that tied together our wedding day and started the planning of another.
We're not from the area so we weren't familiar with Minister Steve but as soon as we met him he felt like he was already a long-time friend! Steve is truly the cherry on top of a wonderful wedding day! -
