One of the first vendors that we booked was Alan Chadrjian as our officiant. My (now) wife and I lead very busy lives and putting a wedding together these past 12 months proved to be extremely stressful at times. Alan fully understood what we were looking for in a ceremony and also kept in mind that we were not always able to meet in person. He was extremely flexible in order to accommodate us, even if that meant meeting via Skype on multiple occasions!

He was also EXCEPTIONALLY organized. After speaking with us over the past few months to make sure that our ceremony was just right, Alan prepared a very detailed outline of the ceremony for us, our planners and our wedding party. At the rehearsal, he went through the motions with all of us and made sure everyone knew what they were doing and where they were going for the day of.

From the beginning, Alan took the time to get to know us as a couple so when it came to our ceremony, he was able to make it that much more personal and memorable for both us and our wedding guests.

Would highly recommend Minister Alan!!

I cannot thank Minister Alan enough for the incredibly beautiful ceremony that he did for us. From our initial phone call, to meeting with us, and then to the ceremony and follow up he was so professional and caring. I was so nervous to say the vows in front of everyone, but he put me at ease and made it so the ceremony was anxiety attack-free and comfortable for me to do. Everything was planned and laid out for us to see ahead of time so we knew exactly how everything would go. Also, we had our 4 dogs in the wedding. He was so accommodating and excited to take on the challenge of having all of them there. That was a HUGE weight taken off of our shoulders to know that they could be incorporated as they were. Of all the money we spent on the wedding, he was probably the best money we spent. He is worth every penny! I am going to recommend him to every engaged couple we know. He is just the best! THANK YOU AGAIN, MINISTER ALAN!!

A true professional, punctual calm and collected. Organized, beautifully written ceremony. As the groom I was confident in his capability. A calming personality to be around when my nerves kicked in moments before my bride arrived. Would highly recommend him to anyone who plans on being married by a Minister.

Minister Alan was great! He was very very professional fropm the moment we met for the initial meeting. He was so organized and thorough. He came to the rehearsal and meant business! There was no joking around on his part, which kept the rehearsal moving quickly, so that we could move on to the rehearsal dinner in a timely fashion.
The ceremony was perfect. He was professionsal yet had kept it relaxed and easy going. People were compimenting on great the ceremony was after the wedding.
I would highly recommend Minister Alan to anyone.

Minister Alan was a pleasure to work with. He was very flexible and accommodating to all of our requests and changes! We had a lot of last minute changes, and he responded promptly to any questions or concerns we had! We were very impressed with how well written the ceremony was. He gave us a hard copy of our vows, so I was able to put them into our Wedding Album! Minister Alan puts a lot of effort into making the ceremony fitting to the couples wishes. We are very grateful to have found Alan to officiate our wedding. As a same-sex couple in NJ with the possibility of marriage for us in this state only beginning so recently, we were concerned that we would be able to find a very experienced officiant who was also reasonably priced. Alan met with us and discussed all aspects of the ceremony, he made the ceremony personal to us, and everyone at the wedding was thrilled as well. Highly recommended.

Minister Alan was wonderful! At our initial meeting, he was extremely organized and prepared. He listened to our ideas for our ceremony and gave us many helpful suggestions along the way. When it came time for my husband and I to write our vows, Alan provided us with many great samples that we were able to look to for inspiration. Within a week of our first meeting, he sent us a draft of our ceremony and worked with us until every detail was perfect. He ran a smooth rehearsal and performed our ceremony on our wedding day without a hiccup. I received numerous compliments from our wedding guests about how great he was. I would definitely recommend Minister Alan to anyone looking for a wedding officiant.

First time writing a review and I am very happy to do so. I can not describe how satisfied my husband and I were with the professionalism and quality of service provided to us by Minister Alan. My husband and I relocated to DC few months prior to our wedding and Minister Alan was extremely accommodating, he set up video calls which felt no different from in person meetings. Minister Alan did a great job at our rehearsal and was extremely patient with us when we ran late to the hotel for the rehearsal. He took the time to explain the role of each member of the wedding party and made sure there were no surprise on the day of the wedding. Our wedding was a dream and we want to thank Minister Alan for helping us make it a reality.

Minster Alan was the one and only choice, for myself and my partner. The reason being, we were at two previous weddings where he presided at and noticed that his professionalism and confidence truly commanded the room. When he spoke, every person listened attentively.
However, when we began the task of putting our wedding together, there were many components that we were unaware of, that needed to be addressed. Minister Alan, being so thoroughly organized and being so quick to respond to our needs, made the process very easy. His patience and willingness to inform us of the important aspects of the ceremony, in order to make it more personal, made for a beautiful celebration. Going through the paces he set forth, even gave us the courage to write our own vows, which meant so much to us.
Needless to say, that day came and went, but we still hear from family and friends on how beautiful and touching our ceremony was, and how the words Minister Alan chose, were so fitting for our occasion.
We can not thank him enough and highly recommend him, with out fail.

I cannot express how happy I am with choosing Minister Alan as our officiant. The amount of people that came up to us after the ceremony to tell us how beautiful the words were that Minister Alan chose to use was overwhelming. Aside from the actual ceremony, working with Minister Alan was a great pleasure. We started with a very informative Skype call on a Sunday nonetheless to accommodate my husband and I's crazy schedule. He then walked us through selecting the perfect personal and ring vows by presenting us with various options. On the day of he was calm and reviewed everything with us both and really stood by my husbands side to guide him through the crowd as they walked to the ceremony location, which my husband still talks about how appreciative he was of that so that he could have a few minutes of solitude without guests continuously coming up to him. Overall I would highly recommend Minister Alan, he was one of our best choices in wedding vendors. Thank you for a great ceremony!

Book Minister Alan today, no need to look any further! He was such a pleasure to work with from the start! He was professional and considerate; he clearly has a great love for what he does and does it well. He listened to exactly how we wanted our ceremony to be and made it happen! He gave us so many creative options that helped to make the ceremony unique and memorable! In our first meeting he was very thorough about all the details, some of which my fiancé and I never even thought about! He walked us through every step and ideas to make it our own. After leaving our first meeting with him, I felt even more excited about our wedding, knowing he would be there to make sure everything went perfectly for us. Throughout the months/ weeks leading up to our big day he sent us a draft of our ceremony, listing what everyone would say verbatim (he even included who would usher-in our mothers), which helped ease our anxiety. The day of he arrived early and sharply dressed. During the ceremony he had such a warm/calm presence it made my husband and I both relax and enjoy the moment. It was PERFECT!!! We chose Minister Alan after speaking with several officiants, and we are very glad we went with him. He was very professional and adept in customizing the ceremony to our needs, even making a valiant effort to speak some words in another language! Minister Alan was always responsive to all of our questions, and his empathy and attention to detail were exactly what we needed from him. In addition, several of our guests came up to us after the ceremony and mentioned that Minister Alan did a great job in striking the right tone for the setting and delivering his words in a way that really resonated with the guests. Minister Alan performed such a beautiful ceremony for me and my husband on November 4th, 2017. From start to finish, he was a pleasure to work with. Any time I had questions about the ceremony, the readings, our vows or any changes to be made, he responded right away and made that part of the wedding planning process seem like a breeze. All of our guests also told us how beautifully worded our ceremony was and I couldn’t have been happier. At the end of our ceremony I was so happy to be given the entire written version of our ceremony- it’s a great keepsake if you’re into that kind of stuff and he puts it in a really nice folder with your names on it. I’d highly recommend Minister Alan to anyone who is looking for an officiant, religious or non-religious because he really takes the time to understand what it is YOU want as a couple which is very important.

From the day that we met Alan we were confident that our special day was in good hands. He was thorough, professional and organized. He spent an hour and half with us on our first meeting, just to get to know us and help us decide what kind of wedding we wanted to have; above and beyond the expectations of your average wedding officiant. He emailed and called us frequently up until the day of the wedding to make sure that everything was perfect. Alan conducted our rehearsal, the day before our wedding, with a combination of humor and sternness that prepared us and our wedding party for a perfect ceremony. During our wedding, our guests could not stop complimenting our ceremony and the performance of Alan. He was a calming presence during an exciting and anxious time for us and our wedding party. Wedding planning can seem strenuous, at times overwhelming… It can feel the entire day weighs solely on any one small detail. Luckily, we had Minister Alan on our side. Minister Alan understands these anxieties and manages his clients’ nerves better than one can ever hope for. Going far above and beyond the expected duties of an ordained minister, he offered us a level of confidence and provided us a sense of ease from start to finish. Leading up to our wedding Minister Alan guided us and spoke with us frequently. He helped compose our vows, then made sure they were perfectly executed. He helped select readings, then made sure the readers were confident. Minister Alan not only took the time to shape our ceremony, but he became immersed in our entire day. He quickly familiarized himself with our families, got to know our wedding parties, and most unexpected of all, he helped coordinate all vendors associated with the ceremony upon his arrival. As the ceremony took shape, and the 185 guests were eagerly listening, Minister Alan spoke like that of a true professional. He demanded attention, while still allowing all eyes on my wife and I. Although it was short, at our request, it felt like the most perfectly crafted twenty minutes. For all that went into it, Minister Alan made sure every second of the event had its purpose.

Minister Alan showed himself to be a man of few words, but somehow, very naturally, offered endless comfort. We may not have known him long before June 17th, but on that day, we felt he was truly there not just with his words, but also his heart.

Amazing Ceremony

My wife and I decided very late into our wedding planning that we needed an officiant. With such late notice (about two weeks before the wedding), Minister Alan went above and beyond to make our day special. He spoke with us often and provided guidance along the way. My wife (thanks Alan! :)) and I were looking for a non-denominational minister to conduct our ceremony and spoke to several before choosing Alan. What made our decision so easy was the immediate professionalism and care he put into the whole process. We live in Seattle and decided to hold our wedding back home in NY. What impressed us right off the bat was how accommodating Alan was with Skype. He reviewed the entire process with us and made a real effort to understand our relationship.

We were dreading picking an officiant for our wedding because most we found were a bit too casual for us. We wanted someone who we connected with and could trust would be more than capable of personalizing the experience in a professional way. We also wanted the pomp and circumstance of a religious wedding minus the religion, and Alan delivered in spades. He worked with us for two months to get our vows in place, determine a meaningful ritual (we decided to have a hand-fastening) and even went out of his way to meet with us in person during one of our weekend planning trips to the area.

On wedding day, he was prompt and took care of all the setup needed. He calmed our nerves when they needed calming and truly felt like a friend by the end of the day. We highly recommend Alan and will certainly reach out to him to renew our vows in the future!

I am so happy we found Minister Alan. My (now) Hubby and I needed a fast, quick and easy ceremony to be done now and next year, we will be doing the big fancy wedding. The most organized vendor we worked with!

Minister Alan was an absolute pleasure to work with. He truly was the most organized person we worked with when planning the wedding. We did a few zoom calls to get to know each other. He came to the calls with an agenda and he made us feel comfortable throughout the process. He sent us a draft of the ceremony weeks before the actual wedding, we made a few edits, and it came together perfectly. Minister Alan's added humor in all the right places. Our guests commented afterwards that he must have known us for years!!!

My husband and I are so pleased we chose Minister Alan for our wedding ceremony. Initially, were nervous and confused about how to select a minister for our nondenominational ceremony. Most of our friends and family members were married in a church and we didn't have any recommendations. We contacted Minister Alan because he is a recommended vendor of our venue, il Tulipano. We skyped with Minister Alan at first because we were planning our wedding from out of state. He was very accommodating and explained the whole process in detail. We felt at ease with him because he is very experienced and good at what he does! Minister Alan created a ceremony that suited us and guided us through the whole process. In fact, he was one of our only vendors that proactively reached out to us and kept us on schedule. We also met with Minister Alan in person one time before our wedding to go through the ceremony. He is very professional and kept our large and crazy wedding party in line during the rehearsal. We were nervous about our guest's reaction to our non-religious ceremony but so many of our guests told us it was "the best ceremony" they've attended and "perfect" "not cheesy" "really reflected who you are as a couple". In addition to creating a beautiful ceremony, Minister Alan also took care of our paperwork and filed our marriage license which was a big help! We highly recommend him!

Very accommodating

Minister Alan made our special day perfect. He reviewed our ceremony with us several times before the big day (both in person and via email) to make sure we were comfortable with all of the parts. Because we had mixed cultures and languages at our wedding, he made sure to include all the special elements to make both families feel as though their traditions were being celebrated. Thank you Minister Alan! It was perfect!

Simply amazing

Minister Alan was amazing. He was responsive, through and professional. He was very flexible when it came to us having to change our date last minute. He personalized the ceremony to fit us as a couple. My new wife and I were truly blessed to have him officiate our wedding ceremony. He was a big reason our wedding day will be so memorable. I cannot thank Minister Alan enough for the special ceremony he put together for our wedding day. My husband and I were able to incorporate both of our cultural traditions into one ceremony that was catered specifically to our own needs and wants. It was beautiful and extra special as a result of that. Minister Alan did a great job of offering us suggestions throughout the ceremony. He also met with us during the initial planning stages to learn more about us and to help us better plan for the most important part of our wedding. All of the planning paid off as I unexpectedly needed to go to the emergency room during the rehearsal ceremony practice, and Minister Alan was able to easily guide my bridal party on the steps they needed to take. My husband and I practiced our piece with him the day of the wedding, and everything went beautifully and as planned. I would highly recommend Minister Alan!

Minister Alan Chadrjian was recommended by our wedding venue and we are so happy that we chose him to be our officiant. He was very down to earth and we loved how he incorporated our children into the ceremony, he made it feel very personal and I loved how touching it all was. Minister Alan was the PERFECT officiant for our wedding ceremony in Joshua Tree National Park!

My wife Brianna and I are SO grateful for Minister Alan! He was the most PERFECT person to officiate our wedding ceremony in Joshua Tree National Park. Our ceremony was beautiful, well-organized, happy, and emotional, thanks to Minister Alan's guidance.

A quick recap of important items below:

1/ INITIAL MEETINGS: Minister Alan is extremely organized and detail oriented. From our first meeting, he asked us detailed questions to ensure the ceremony was structured how we wanted it. He helped us to find the perfect balance of a traditional spiritual / religious ceremony with a modern (and shorter) structure. He is extremely experienced in serving as officiant and had many great ideas that he proposed from the start as we began to create our ceremony.

2/ CEREMONY PLANNING: Preparing the ceremony was easy and straightforward! We felt well prepared as our special day approached due to Minister Alan's check-ins and email updates. He provided us with frequent drafts of the final ceremony "script" for us to review / critique and helped us both in writing clear, concise, and beautiful vows. He helped us to coordinate and think about each moment of the ceremony ahead of time (e.g. "Who is holding our rings?", "Will we hold hands during the ring exchange?", "Where will our unity ritual rope go after we've tied the knot?"), which made the ceremony itself stress free.

3/ CEREMONY ITSELF: The ceremony was fantastic! Minister Alan was dressed sharp and spoke clearly. He had carefully structured the ceremony to include many emotional and happy moments. We cried... a lot. When he arrived, he had a beautiful folder containing the ceremony script, which he gifted us afterwards. He also handed us our vows to read, as well as our ring exchange text. He coordinated signatures on our wedding license and reviewed all details on the license before mailing them on our behalf.

I highly recommend Minister Alan! He was a fantastic officiant and we can't imagine having a more perfect ceremony, thanks to his organization and guidance. Thank you, Minister Alan!

Alan was the consummate professional. From the moment we asked him to marry us, we were taken care of with a great combination of sensitivity, thoughtfulness, and attentiveness. He had an incredible array of vows for us to choose from and was completely supportive in our desire to mix-and-match to come up with whatever we really wanted. As a same-sex couple, we had previously had a religious (non-legal) ceremony, and people who attended both claimed that Alan's short sermon was better than our priest's! Even though we had already been married once, it did bring tears to my eyes. I would recommend Alan to any and everyone looking for a non-denominational wedding ceremony that still has a feeling of sanctity and importance. And the fact that he's good humored and lighthearted as well doesn't hurt!

Wonderful!

Minister Alan was wonderful to work with. We were originally planning to have a family member perform the ceremony but things fell through, leaving us with little time to find someone. Luckily, Minister Alan had not been booked yet and provided us with a script for the ceremony even under short notice. He even eased us into writing vows for one another which we were initially too nervous to say in front of everyone, and I'm so happy he did!

Minister Alan did an amazing job at our wedding! From the day we met with him he was an absolute pleasure to be around. He helped my Fiance and I with our vows (he is an amazing writer!), and made sure all details were well executive and communicated to everyone involved with the wedding beforehand. We even had some mic issues in the beginning and that did not stop Minister Alan from providing a great wedding service. He acted as if nothing went wrong and continued on! He made our guests laugh and cry at exactly the right moments. We had several engaged friends ask how we had found him and would be so happy to see him again at their own weddings.

Choosing a Minister is no easy task but my husband and I could not have been happier with our decision! Alan was perfect. We were amazed at his professionalism and how he made us feel so at ease with planning the entire ceremony. We initially thought it may be stressful, but after meeting Alan to discuss for the first time, any such thoughts vanished. His personality, kindness, humor, and business-like attitude made all the difference in planning a perfect ceremony.

Minister Alan was very professional, organized and helpful. He sent us samples of vows and explained everything we needed to get our marriage license. He ran our rehearsal which was really helpful and did an excellent job officiating on our big day. He has a good clear speaking voice and everything about our ceremony went very smoothly. He even gave us a really nice binder of our vows, and all of the readings, and our marriage certificate after the ceremony was over which is such a nice keepsake. I would highly recommend Minister Alan to all couples. He was professional, responsive, and willing to create a ceremony for us that fit our vision. I was raised Catholic and my husband is Jewish; it was important to both of us to have our cultures represented without the wedding being overly religious. Alan co-officiated our ceremony with my husband's uncle who never performed a ceremony before. We were confident in this arrangement given Alan's expertise, organization, and can-do attitude. So many guests approached me at the reception and remarked on how beautiful the ceremony was, which was truly all because of Alan. My husband and I renewed our wedding vows after 10 years and I have to say that Alan Chadrjian was amazing. It was a very private affair. There were no guests, just my husband, children, and I. The words he chose were perfect and very touching. My husband and I both teared up. He even addressed our 4 year old son in reference to him and our daughter. It was beautiful and intimate. Amazing, professional officiant!

Minister Alan was a complete professional from the very start. It's very clear that he has done this hundreds of times and knows all the ins and outs of how to put on a very good ceremony. Even on the day of the wedding when a change was made to do a tree planting ceremony, Minister Alan was very cool and collected and made it all happen without any stress or worry. Many of our guests told us how much they liked our officiant and how it was so easy to understand him because he enunciated very well. I would highly recommend Minister Alan to anyone who is looking for an extremely professional officiant. He also helps with your vows if you decided to write them yourself!

Best you can get

Minister Alan was one of the highlights of our wedding day. First, he worked closely with us through three (!!) rescheduled dates due to COVID, and handled the changes with patience and grace. Leading up to the event, he took care to ensure my husband and I had time to write and revise our vows, AND made sure what we had written matched in both style and length, which made sure our vows fit together seamlessly. On the weekend of, he asked the questions we didn't even know we needed to ask to ensure the ceremony itself was organized, clean, and flawless. In the hight of the wedding-weekend craziness, Minister Alan was a clam and reassuring presence.

Above all, he reminded us every step of the way about the weight and importance of the commitment of marriage. It's so easy to get caught up in the small details of the weekend and party, but Minister Alan helped us focus on the *real* reason why we're all here--to commit to each other in marriage. I was so grateful for his guidance and calming reassurance throughout the entire event, before, during, and after the ceremony.

I would recommend him to any couple. He will work with you to make sure you have the exact ceremony YOU want (not what your family wants, or what you think you should have, but what YOU want as a couple ). He is patient and has been through this rodeo before, so answered many of my questions about the ceremony and beyond. He was also flexible and adapted changing dates, wedding party members, and more, which truly helped take away some of the stress of planning a COVID-era wedding. I am grateful he was part of our big day, especially in the biggest moment of exchanging our vows.

Minister Alan is FANTASTIC. We called several officiants before we found him and he was the most flexible and professional officiant we had talked to in our search, and so we met. Our meeting was at Panera Bread where we ate lunch and he got to know us. He was incredibly warm and easy to speak with. He was very detailed, explained all of our choices, what the process looked like, and the importance of the ceremony to us and our guests. Within a week, he had emailed us the draft of the ceremony in full detail for us to review, change, etc. He also provided the proper information for the legal process of getting the marriage license, changing the name, and filing for the marriage certificate.
Minister Alan also provided us with our rehearsal which we asked for rather late, but he did not hesitate to come to the venue and run through the process with ourselves and our families.
On the day of the wedding, we couldn't be happier with the ceremony. His voice is strong and he spoke to our guests with poise. My husband and I clung to his words, and while we had read it all before, hearing him say it was just beautiful. At the end of the ceremony, he gave us a bound hard copy of the ceremony that was read for us as a keepsake. When the wedding weekend was over, I received an email reminding me how to go about filing for the marriage certificate and who to contact. Above and beyond.
Minister Alan is one of the most kind and professional people I have worked with. I would recommend him for any type of ceremony, this man truly has a gift to make your day feel extra special.

Well-spoken, professional officiant

Alan was referred to us 4 months before our wedding. My now husband and I couldn't decided if we wanted a family member to officiate or not but as the time got closer, we didn't want to at the last minute ask a relative or friend. Thankfully Alan was available, we met with him, and soon after that hired him in which we jumped right into the next steps. We met with Alan over Zoom and gave our backgrounds, shared our story and Alan kindly walked us through the various ways a wedding can be officiated. We both found this to be very insightful. Over the course of the 4 months, we worked on our story with Alan, selected our vows and solidified our ceremony. Since we had a large wedding party, including 7 children, we felt it would be best to practice the night before. Alan made himself available to come to our venue, practice with all of us and prepare us for what was to be a beautiful ceremony the next day. Alan is well-spoken and professional from before we hired him all the way through completing our marriage license for us. The process was very easy and stress-free.

Alan was a very professional and organized minister. He always got back to me quickly and accommodated any changes or additions to our ceremony. It was a beautiful ceremony, very well written and spoken.

Minister Alan was amazing and made our ceremony truly magical. We were really concerned about not having any religious items incorporated in the ceremony, but he worked with us to make sure it was very special and meaningful. He was also very open to our suggestions and edits-- taking the time to listen to our needs and adding personal touches that helped tell our love story. I would highly recommend him for any couple!

The very first thing you realize when you meet Alan is how organized he is! As a very organized person myself, I really appreciated the time and detail Alan spent explaining to us how the entire process works. Having done my research and met with a few other ordained ministers, I can honestly say that his professionalism and organization far exceeded the others. He worked with us to create the ceremony we wanted, without pushing us on any matters. He sent us numerous documents to choose wedding and ring vows. He typed up and sent us the entire order of the ceremony, where everyone would be, what he would say, and even prepped us on when we would speak. I could not have asked for a better minister; the entire process went smoothly. I highly recommend Alan to any couple getting married.

Minister Alan was very professional and approachable throughout the entire planning process of our wedding ceremony. He answered questions and offered feedback quickly and honestly. We had one initial consolation where we spoke about what was important to my fiancé and I, to include in our ceremony. He made our ceremony personalized to us and gave us a typed out copy of our enti9re ceremony. I would definitely recommend Minister Alan to officiate your wedding!

Professional, Thoughtful and Poised

From the moment we met Minister Alan, he gave off a strong sense of confidence and professionalism. With everything from our initial discussion to the ceremony itself, on December 1, Minister Alan took charge and made us feel reassured and comfortable with his knowledge and calm demeanor. He took the writing of our ceremony very seriously and welcomed feedback and accommodated our requests and offered feedback on each of our vows. Our rehearsal ran extremely smooth and everyone was able to understand their roles quickly because of his experience and guidance.

Our wedding came together very quickly and happened in our home. We didn't know what we wanted other than a desire to keep it simple. Minister Alan steered us in the right direction and created a personal and poignant ceremony that was perfect for our needs. For two people that debated just getting married at city hall, we could not be happier with the ways in which minister Alan helped make this a special day we will never forget.

Minister Chadrjian was a pleasure to work with. He made our ceremony very special to us. He didn't push us to do a typical ceremony he was on board with making it as personal to us as we wanted it.
