Unforgettable experience! Highly recommended!

Minakshi Entertainments made our Wedding reception unforgettable! We were very impressed by DJ Paul’s professionalism and very friendly demeanor. He kept in touch and responded to all of our questions. Everyone loved the music during various stages of the evening. The sound quality was excellent with no static or other disturbances that other DJ companies have. Thank you DJ Paul for honoring all the songs we requested. You made our Walima perfect. Highly recommended!

Amazing DJ to work with!

When choosing our DJ for our wedding reception, my husband and I wanted a DJ who would play music from both of our cultures (American & Sri Lankan). We worked with Paul Haines as our DJ for our wedding reception. He did beyond a fabulous job on mixing up the music throughout the night of Pop, Hip Hop, Electronic, 90’s music, Hindi & Sri Lankan music. He followed our wedding script all the way which was important to us with the different parts of our wedding reception. He kept the crowed energized the entire night as well. I recommend Paul and his team to anyone looking for a DJ for a wedding or entertainment services event in general.

Great to work with

Commendable! DJ pleased everyone and was perfect for our occasion. He was so sweet and stood out in the crowd. He brought many folks out to the dance floor which is exactly what we had wanted. All through the formalities the DJ was extremely helpful. Everything was perfect. THANK YOU!!

Minakshi Entertainments made my wedding reception stupendous! My husband and I loved the DJ. He was extremely friendly and professional and played perfect music all evening. He was a fantastic Emcee as well. There was dancing, fun and laughter on the floor all night. I'm so glad we chose a perfect company like Minakshi Entertainments.

Awesome experience

We chose Minakshi Entertainments DJs after seeing numerous DJs through the years at friends' weddings. They came highly rated and received great accolades by friends. The music and sound system were great! The DJ was extremely professional, personable, fun, and accommodating. the music level was perfect and the song selections were top notch.The price was beyond reasonable and I would definitely call upon Minakshi Entertainments again. Very professional

Minakshi Entertainments was the best choice I could have made for my wedding ceremony and reception. The DJ played lively music with an excellent & classy playlist and had the guests entertained and dancing all evening. At our ceremony Minakshi sang beautiful traditional songs. She has a fantastic voice. As a fusion wedding, it was important to us that all guests felt comfortable with the music. DJ P not only helped keep a balance of Indian and western music, but knew exactly when our crowd was getting into a groove and how to keep it going. Every single guest of ours was on the dance floor. I would highly recommend Minakshi Entertainments for any event.

Awesome experience

Minakshi Entertainments has to be the best Indian wedding DJ in the DC area.

We booked the DJ for both nights (sangeet and reception) at Trump Towers in DC and he absolutely nailed the type of mixes we were looking for. He also went above and beyond, creating custom mixes for our sangeet.

Minakshi Entertainments is extremely professional, was very well prepared, and could not have been easier to work with. We'd recommend them to everyone!

This is my second time using Minakshi Entertainments. We love their DJ service because they know the kind of music to play to make sure everyone has a blast. They are extremely professional and are very affordable. We will call on them again. Highly recommend.

Minakshi Entertainments was the best choice we made for our party. The DJ played songs for all ages and music tastes. My guests loved the popular Indian classic film songs to today's Bollywood dance chart busters. People also enjoyed the American Top 40 immensely. The DJ kept the dance floor packed all night!! We received the best compliments about this outstanding DJ and were very happy we chose such a reputable company as Minakshi Entertainments.

We celebrated our wedding reception at the Congressional Country Club. We had heard great things about Minakshi Entertainments and decided to hire them to provide the music entertainment. Minakshi Entertainments did a phenomenal job from emcee-ing to providing exceptional music. The DJ was extremely personable and very professional and put together a killer playlist. He made our evening spectacular and unique and had the dance floor filled with happy people! We received many compliments on the brilliant music and how the DJ made our reception sensational. We were extremely pleased and will DEFINITELY hire Minakshi Entertainments again.

We had Minakshi Entertainments for our ceremony/reception. Definitely would recommend to anyone. Super professional and communicates so well before and after the event. During the reception, the DJ kept the dance floor crowded and was able to read what the audience was feeling, which led to many people attending talking about how great our reception was.

The team at Minakshi Entertainments are true professionals. We hired them for our wedding ceremony and reception and it was a very good experience. Both Minakshi & Paul have incredible talent. For the wedding ceremony Minakshi sang our requested songs. She has an amazing voice and we were so pleased. For the reception we had Paul DJ. He did an awesome job. We had several requests and he also gave us some very good suggestions to make it a very fun, memorable, special evening. He played a variety of music that pleased all of our guests. He was amazing at keeping the crowd engaged, dancing, and most importantly having fun.

I would definitely hire Minakshi Entertainments again for future events.

We hired Minakshi Entertainments for our wedding reception and they were amazing! They were easy to get in contact with and Paul & Minakshi made the process of planning our wedding music seamless and easy. They listened to what we wanted and they were very easy to deal with.

For our Wedding ceremony, Minakshi sang beautiful songs that exceeded our expectations! Her voice is stunning. For the reception we chose their DJ service. Paul has to be one of the most talented DJ I have ever met. While we waited outside during the cocktail hour to make our grand entrance, everyone who came out of the reception was raving about how awesome the DJ was. Paul made all of the announcements exactly the way we wanted and as a DJ, he played a great selection of music and he kept the crowd dancing all night.

Usually when I go to a wedding, the DJs are playing music way too loud and are making jokes and dancing and drawing attention to themselves the entire time. We wanted a more classy DJ and Paul was a perfect fit. All of our guests still talk about how great Paul was. Minakshi Entertainments really made our wedding day exactly the way we wanted. I would recommend Minakshi Entertainments for any event. They definitely get 5 stars from me.

Minakshi Entertainments is by the far the best wedding entertainment company in the DC area. Minakshi sang for our Ceremony and it was like listening to the voice of an Angel. She made our ceremony so touching and emotional because of the passion in her performance. For our reception we had DJ Paul. You are the BEST!!! We had so much fun and it is all thanks to you. From the second the reception started to the minute it ended, it was non-stop fun. We received so many compliments about how great our wedding was because of the DJ and we couldn't agree more. We wanted a party, we wanted everyone on the dance floor having a great time and you did just that. So many people came up to us during the wedding and afterwards praising Paul and the music. We will hire Minakshi Entertainments for every event we have in the future.

I don’t know where to begin with my compliments of Minakshi Entertainments. They are a great company with responsive and kind professionals and a true desire to make your day special. Minakshi sang for our wedding ceremony. She has a beautiful voice and she complimented the beauty of our ceremony by singing our special song. She was simply amazing. For our reception we had DJ Paul. He played awesome Bollywood dance songs and had us on the dance floor all night. My guests had a fabulous time. Minakshi Entertainments deserves 5 stars across the board. Their attention to detail and passion to meet our needs is unparalleled. My husband and I had the privilege to spend as much time as we needed during our planning session to ensure that all details would be perfect. This brought us such a sense of comfort and solidified our confidence with Minakshi Entertainments. Minakshi sang for our ceremony and her beautiful voice made the ceremony perfect. When communicating with the staff from Minakshi Entertainments, we were very impressed in their professionalism, prompt responses, and again attention to detail. This allowed us to see things from their professional prospective while still maintaining what my husband and I envisioned. So glad we chose Minakshi Entertainments to DJ our wedding. Paul was very professional and easy to work with. He took the time to meet with us at the venue to carefully learn the names of everyone in our wedding party and worked with us to build a playlist for our wedding. He gave us great advice in creating a timeline for our wedding reception and executed it seamlessly on our wedding day. It was clear from our interactions with Paul that he has a lot of experience with weddings, and so we felt confident going into our wedding knowing that he was working with us. Paul arrived well ahead of time to make sure everything was in place for the wedding, and kept our guests entertained throughout the evening. I would highly recommend Minakshi Entertainments for any event. My guests are still talking about what a great time they had.

For our wedding we had DJ Paul from Minakshi Entertainments and he was amazing!! He was so accommodating, friendly, and organized. Everyone LOVED the music and had such a good time dancing. My husband is Indian so we had a lot of Indian elements at the wedding, including rare songs from old Bollywood, and Paul was super willing to work with us on it and download the hard to find songs! He played everything we wanted with perfect timing, He did such a good job MCing throughout the evening with excellent pronunciation of names. It was the perfect balance of letting everyone know where to be and what to do, but in a fun and light way. I would definitely recommend Minakshi Entertainments to anyone. They are so nice and professional and willing to work with you to make your dream even better than you expected or thought it could be.

Minakshi and her entire team did an AMAZING job with our wedding. The lighting was exactly what we pictured and the music was perfect. We had an Indian/American wedding so there was a lot of fusion and Minakshi Entertainment handled it beautifully. We wanted a good mix of Indian music and English music and our dance floor was completely packed until the very last song. Guests have been complimenting us left and right on the music and how much fun they had dancing at our wedding. We would seriously recommend them to anyone looking to have the dance floor on fire!

My husband and I were extremely happy that we picked Minakshi Entertainments to provide music for our Wedding Reception DJ Paul was such a friendly and professional individual to work with. His song selections were exceptional and consisted from Bollywood, Punjabi to English Top 40. He had the dance floor filled the whole night. They also provided beautiful flashing dance lights. I recently got married and Minakshi Entertainments surpassed my music entertainment needs from beginning to end with ultimate professionalism. I chose the DJ with Live Singing Package and was very happy with my decision.
Minakshi honored every song I requested and sang beautifully. DJ Paul is an amazing MC/DJ who is very professional and passionate about his role in keeping everyone entertained throughout the evening. He has an outstanding selection of Bollywood music and kept the energy flowing on the dance floor. The dance lights enhanced room and looked spectacular. The sound was clear and the volume level during hors d'oeuvres, dinner and dance was perfect.
We are all extremely pleased that we chose Minakshi Entertainments and thank you Minakshi and DJ Paul for making our day so memorable.

Minakshi was a great choice for our Sangeet. Paul was responsive from the onset, had fantastic equipment (both sound and lighting), a solid selection of music choices (including every song we requested), and was efficient in his setup/takedown on the night of our event. He also did a great job reading the crowd and keeping the energy level up. We had a number of performances throughout the night and Paul was on top of music changes, having mic's ready to go, etc. Highly recommend Paul & Minakshi for your Sangeet!

Paul and Minakshi were a perfect fit for our wedding. The live singing was amazing ---she even learned the song I loved for me to walk down the aisle at our wedding. They played a great mix of songs and were able to catch on to what the crowd liked to keep everyone dancing without being overwhelming on the MC side.

We hired Minakshi to DJ our wedding day, which included two wedding ceremonies and an evening reception all on the same day. Paul Haines from Minakshi provided reliable and high-quality sound services for our ceremonies as well as excellent DJ services for our reception. Paul was flexible and willing to work around our ever-changing needs on the day-of, and really listened to exactly what we wanted. We recommend Minakshi Entertainments USA for the company’s reliability, high level of responsiveness, and quality services at a very reasonable price. Our whole day flowed together seamlessly!

My husband and I just wanted to take a moment to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your DJ services at our wedding on Saturday August 1st 2015. I was so happy with your work, professionalism, responsiveness and attention to small details - it made our day wonderful! Paul and his assistant arrived on time, set-up completely on their own at our venue, included all of the songs I requested the day before the wedding, and continued playing beyond the contracted time. I noticed all of those small details, which made my experience with Minakshi Entertainments so incredibly wonderful. Also, Paul was able and willing to work with me as I planned my wedding in 2.5 weeks. My guests, family, husband and I had such an amazing time on the dance floor, playing a perfect blend of Western & Hindi music. You made our event so memorable for all of us! Really, I was so happy that I chose to have you as my DJ that night. I will be sure to recommend you to everyone I know, and will definitely work with you again in the future!

Awesome all the way

We had a birthday get together with family and friends and had DJ Paul provide DJ services. I usually do not write reviews but am compelled to write this review because of the awesome professionalism and exceptional services which were provided - made our night memorable all the way. DJ Paul was very good at communication during the planning phase and took the time on explaining what we could expect. He showed up on time and even stayed half an hour later - every guest in the party were on their feet during the event. The awesome fusion of Indian Bollywood and English music was perfect. I would recommend “Jalwah” DJ services to anyone looking for music DJ services in the DC/MD/VA tri-state area.

Paul from Minakshi was really great. They were the least expensive among DJ's that I researched that played indian music and had great equipment. He also really got people dancing like there was no tomorrow. Only complaint was that there were times where he wasn't as responsive, but overall he was very professional and really performed well.
