I came from Wyoming to get married in glacier, the day before my wedding I was having a dress emergency due to David’s Bridal. I went in looking for recommendations of alterations in town and both girls went above and beyond to help me. Instantly my emergency became their emergency. They helped me for no reason other than being truly amazing ladies. They called in a favor to their miracle working seamstress and LITERALLY SAVED MY WEDDING. I will be recommending them and praising them for the rest of my life. -

I called Mimi’s bridal on a whim one day, just to start the process of looking, and they said they could fit me in the next day! They were so nice and easy to talk to on the phone!
When I got there, I was taken to the fitting area by a girl named Capella. I knew I liked her when I met her, but I had no idea how much she would make the experience for me!! I didn’t expect to find my dress in one visit, so I thought I’d try a little of everything... Capella let my mom and I pick out around 8 dresses and then we started trying things on.
She helped me get each dress on and off. Each time I put one on, she asked me what I liked and didn’t like about that particular dress. By the 7th dress, I had narrowed it down to two that I really liked, but I still hadn’t had that, “This is the one!!” moment. She said I could come back and try those two on again another day, but suggested I go ahead and try on the last one I had picked out (which I didn’t love on the hanger, but had some elements I knew I liked).
I put the dress on and the whole game changed. My family and I instantly knew! This was it!!! And Capella was SO supportive! She grinned and said, “I knew you would like this one! As I listened to you describe each thing that you did and didn’t like about the other dresses, I kept feeling this dress would be right! I was so excited that you picked it out, because if you hadn’t, I would have made you try it on anyway!” I was floored that she had pegged me so well after only 7 dresses that were all very different!
They also carried the exact tux I had in mind for my husband and his groomsmen, making the whole experience super easy for everyone!
The only hitch was that the dress was ordered exactly to my measurements... I was super thin when I found my dress, and by my first fitting, the dress was already tight and there was no way to let it out. I ended up working my tail end off (literally) to make sure the dress fit in the end, which often happens, however, I believe dresses should always be ordered a size up so there’s room to take it in, because weight can change so easily.... please learn from my story!! It caused stress I didn’t need!
Also, I didn’t feel like I received a lot of help from them finding a seamstress that actually had time to hem my dress in time, but I was able to find my own with a little searching. -
