Milton is awesome!

Milton did our wedding! He is great to work with! He listens to what you want in music and is very helpful with each step of the way from ceremony to final dance! He is very personal and kind!
He also played great background music with his guitar during cocktail hour!

Amazing Musician!

From the moment I spoke with Milton, he answered the phone and immediately started playing his guitar, I was sold and knew he had to be part of our day!

He provided an amazing country duo for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Our guests were so impressed and we got several compliments! For the reception, Milton brought the energy to the room and guests were dancing all night long.

We loved Milton!!!

Milton was an incredible DJ and a huge part of what made our wedding so memorable. He perfectly matched the music to our style while bringing amazing energy and keeping the dance floor packed all night (which was our goal!). He was also incredibly flexible, seamlessly handling both our reception and after-party, ensuring the celebration never lost momentum. The dance floor was one of the highlights of the evening, and we have Milton to thank for that!

Highly recommend

We chose Milton because he's bilingual so we could make sure all of our guests felt included during the night. He has a very thorough questionnaire so you can put down all the songs you want and even the ones you don't want. He played guitar before our ceremony started and he helped to keep us on track and the night moving as I had hoped he would. I would definitely recommend him!

Wedding of a lifetime, thanks to Milton!

Milton was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding at The Landing Resort & Spa in South Lake Tahoe. Our planner, Lindsay Congdon, recommended him, and we are so grateful she did.

From the start, his communication was amazing. He really took the time to understand our vision and made sure every detail was exactly right. Before we even booked, he FaceTimed us from Texas to play guitar live, which just showed how talented and personal he is.

He played acoustic covers during cocktail hour that our guests loved, and the entire flow of the day was perfect. From the music to the MCing to the energy on the dance floor, everything was exactly how we envisioned.

We truly wouldn’t change a single thing. Milton felt more like a friend than a vendor, and we are so thankful for him.

Amazing DJ!

My husband and I hired Milton for our October 2025 wedding in Lake Tahoe and he was absolutely fantastic to work with. I cannot say enough positive things about Milton. Milton's passion for music really shines through in his work as he created such an exciting environment for ourselves and our guests. He provided our pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music and at every point elevated the atmosphere. We were an adult only wedding and he was able to mesh music geared toward different age groups seamlessly.
He was very easy to work with and very thorough when it came to our music wants and needs. His priority was to involve us prior to, and during our event, to deliver a musical experience exactly how we envisioned it- and boy did he do just that. We had guest after guest continually praise the music throughout our event, which my husband and I loved hearing. His talent for DJ'ing is evident the moment he starts playing his set. What we loved most about having Milton as our DJ was his unique ability to blend his DJ skills with other musicians as we had a "hybrid DJ" that included a saxophonist and trumpeter- that was a game changer. The hybrid DJ aspect was really unique and made our reception so much more lively and fun. My husband and I were already so excited to see what Milton could provide us prior to our wedding and cannot express how even more thrilled we were after experiencing his services firsthand. He truly knows how to bring the party. Anyone who hires Milton for their DJ needs will not regret their choice.

Best Music Ever!

Milton Merlos was amazing! We hired him for our daughter's wedding & we loved everything he did. He played the guitar for the ceremony and the cocktail party and he was terrific. He was the DJ for the reception and he was phenomenal! He started by celebrating with all of our guest on the dance floor, and he kept up that momentum until the party came to an end. He played a variety of upbeat, fun, music, and he had fantastic lighting. He was welcoming and engaged the guests with fun and celebration the entire day and night! Can't wait to hire Merlin for our next event!!! Thank you.

Incredible Musician and DJ!

Milton went above and beyond for our wedding. I was very adamant that I wanted a violinist for our ceremony and a guitarist for our dinner, and Milton came through in the best way. He also stayed and DJ’d for us and kept the party going all night playing songs that everyone at the wedding wanted to hear!! He was super responsive, so nice, and played his music beautifully. Everything went off perfectly including speeches and first dances with him as our MC! I would highly recommend using him for any sort of wedding or party or ceremony!!!

Book Milton as your DJ

Milton was the best! He listened to all of our song requests and perfectly curated an amazing vibe for our wedding. He was mixing songs together and kept the day going exactly how we pictured. When booking vendors we had never heard Milton DJ before so he was kind of a wild card, he exceeded all expectations. He made the day amazing and I had multiple people come up to us and said how great the DJ was. If you do anything, going with Milton will not disappoint.

THE BEST DJ with charisma!!!!

We truly hit the jackpot with Milton Merlos as our wedding DJ! From the very beginning, Milton was an absolute professional—easy to communicate with, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day unforgettable. Even though we were planning a destination wedding all the way from Texas, he made the process feel effortless. On the actual day, an unexpected hailstorm threw our whole timeline off, but Milton adapted without missing a beat. He read the room perfectly, kept the energy up, and helped everyone stay in great spirits. His ability to shift gears and still create an electric, joyful atmosphere is something we’ll never forget. The night ended with the dance floor packed, full of love, laughter, and incredible music. It was truly the most perfect day, and we know it wouldn’t have been the same without Milton’s talent and presence. Amazing Musician and DJ!

Milton has been the musician/DJ at two weddings for our family (both of our daughter's weddings). One of our daughter's good friend also had him work at her wedding.
Milton is such a talented artist. He brings beauty with his music and FUN with his DJ skills! He's flexible and reasonably priced. We felt so lucky to have him as our musician/DJ at our youngest daughter's and now son-in-law's wedding this past weekend! What a gem!!!

The best dj ever

I got married on November 2, 2024 at the Tahoe Ridge Resort and Milton was our DJ. I can honestly say I have never had so much fun before, all thanks to Milton! He kept people on the dance floor all night. In fact, I had other vendors telling me that he was the best DJ they have ever seen. All of our guests were complimenting Milton on his music choices and upbeat/positive personality. Before our wedding, Milton was responsive via email and phone and really tried to understand what vibes we were going for on our big day. He absolutely listened and executed perfectly. I cannot say enough great things about Milton and would HIGHLY recommend him for other wedding/events!

You need Milton at your wedding!

Wow!! To say Milton is phenomenal at what he does is such an understatement. We were blessed to have Milton be our DJ, MC, and play the Spanish guitar at my Lake Tahoe backyard wedding and it was so dreamy. He was a pleasure to work with from beginning consultation to the end of the night. He had a beautiful set up and going between two locations was seem less despite him being a one man show. Inspo from beginning to end was bridgerton but with a Mexican Latin flare and to say that was achieved would be an understatement. Milton was even kind enough to do all announcements in English and in Spanish for our bilingual wedding making it feel even more tailored to us and our guests. Highly recommend Miltons Spanish guitar package as it made the day so memorable for us and our guests. If I could relive and plan my wedding over again I would hire Milton every time.

Milton & his team were amazing all-around! I happier with my decision to trust his team with my wedding day entertainment than I could have imagined! I had a 3-piece string instrument group for the ceremony & cocktail hour, then a DJ for my reception.

From the beginning of the planning process, Milton had very clear communication and genuinely cared about my vision for our wedding entertainment. He had well-organized forms that made the process easy and stress-free. Furthermore, he went the extra-mile to have a meeting with me & my wedding planner to ensure he and his team understood everything I wanted.
3-piece strings for ceremony & cocktail hour: The team showed up on time, provided their own set up and sound system. They were well-prepared for the songs I requested for my ceremony procession and recession. It was absolutely beautiful, and the sound was stunning! During cocktail hour, they made the space felt like modern day Bridgerton! Everyone loved it.

DJ Jose for reception: DJ Jose was EXCEPTIONAL. He not only came very prepared for our reception, but kept the energy high and led party for the entire night! He was so cool and fun to be around and even let us go rogue and karaoke for a portion of the night! When it was time for him to leave, we could not believe it was so late in the night, and all our guests were requesting that he stay longer!!! He MADE our reception. 10/10 would recommend for all your party needs! Zero notes.

The best ever!

Stop looking for a DJ for your wedding or party and just hire this guy. Absolutely Electric DJ that kept the party going all night. After running into some scares with noise ordinances prior to our wedding, Milton calmed us down and said he will handle it. HE SURE DID! I cant recommend him enough, I promise you will not be disappointed.

ur wedding was truly magical, exceeding all our expectations! Milton Merlos Productions played a huge role in making our day unforgettable. Their team is prompt and very friendly! We had some last minute changes with our wedding and they were flexible and ended playing the violin longer than originally planned. They added in songs that were perfect for our intimate wedding and fit our overall vibe.
The positive energy and creativity they brought to the table were infectious, setting the perfect tone for our special day.

Milton Brings the MAGIC!

WOW! Where do we begin with expressing how grateful we are to have had Milton play and entertain our wedding guests?

When my husband and I decided to tie the knot over the Cinco de Mayo holiday weekend, we knew we had to incorporate some Spanish flare and fiesta vibes. Enter Milton - the most incredibly talented guitar player who also knows how to read the crowd and keep the energy going throughout the night. Even with our intimate wedding of about 30 guests, the dance floor was packed the entire evening.

Milton was easy to communicate with, flexible regarding some fun new ideas about where to set up at our venue and was literally part of the party. At one point when we were taking photos post ceremony on some giant boulders, Milton approached us and began playing some folklorico/flamenco instrumentals. It made for the most incredible sequence of photos and such a fun moment I'll never forget. When the crowd was jumping, Milton was behind the booth doing the same and matching everyone's energy. The night ended with a surprise karaoke performance by my husband, which Milton seamlessly helped orchestrate.

We can't thank Milton enough and look forward to seeing him perform here in Tahoe int he future!

Milton is the BEST!

Milton was all we could have asked for and more in a wedding DJ. He was supportive throughout our planning process, communicative and professional. We knew he would be great from our first sit down call, when he let us know that he would be willing to learn any song we wanted! He really cared about our event and how to make it special for us. He listened to all of our thoughts, ideas, used our playlists and still added in his own expertise which really helped the music/day go smooth.

He is amazing at the live guitar, which was such a nice touch to our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. It is something we will always remember! He had strong communication skills with our planner and officiant, and would even check in with us during the wedding day to ensure everything was going well. We had some unexpected rain after the ceremony, and Milton handled it with such professionalism and made light of such a stressful situation.
He added great touches throughout the day, and we still have guests raving about the dance floor! We couldn't recommend Milton enough!

Perfection!

Milton is absolutely incredible and we HIGHLY recommend him!! His guitar playing is the perfect addition to your wedding ceremony and cocktail hour or any event. Our wedding guests raved about him serenading all of us at our wedding. And his DJing for dancing was perfect!

He made the process really easy by sending us a packet to fill out with our preferences and schedule which helped our event run really smoothly. He even learned a song on guitar on short notice for the ceremony and it was the perfect addition.

And a story just to give you an idea of how much he values his service and his clients: A week or two before our wedding I had decided to release our dining tables for the buffet by an assigned song....but completely forgot to tell Milton (100% my fault!). I happened to mention it to him right before our grand entrance (with dinner starting right after) and we both realized I had not told him ahead of the wedding. I was willing to skip it, but he was insistent on making our wedding exactly as I had imagined. Luckily I had a list on hand, and luckily he is well-prepared! He seamlessly pulled all the songs, on the spot, and made it one of the most fun parts of our wedding. Every table afterward mentioned how fun that it was and I made sure to tell them that it only happened because of Milton!

The Marvelous Milton!

I'm unsure how to start this review because I can't even find the words to express how amazing Milton is and how grateful I am for everything he did for our wedding. Long review below:

From our first conversation on the phone I knew we'd move forward with Milton. I could immediately tell how positive and invested he is in his work. His passion for music shined and I knew he would commit to doing an incredible job (which he did)

Milton was very communicative and patient as we took our time to detail everything we wanted. We hired him to play acoustic at our Lakeside ceremony and DJ our reception. I requested a unique song for my bridal entrance and Milton was more than willing to learn that song for me. He offered his help to ensure all the sound at the ceremony was taken care of, even for the Officiant (which heads up, not all Ceremony musicians assist with this!) He met several times with myself and the wedding planner to ensure he understood the flow of the event and our specifics wants.

The day of we were surprised with some serious snow and had to change all of our plans within the hour. Milton jumped right in to re-arrange and ensure we were covered, I'm so appreciative of his flexibility. Everyone enjoyed the live music at the ceremony; he is truly so talented, warm, welcoming - it's one thing to know how to play an instrument, it's another thing to know how to bring people together. He's truly amazing.

Now for the ceremony, I knew I wanted "live, vibrant, high energy" - I wanted someone who could get a sense of the crowd and match that in the moment (i.e if we're vibing to a high energy song, don't kill the vibe by playing a slow song immediately after) Milton EXCEEDED the bar! He listened to what I wanted to be played and mixed an incredible set! I'm still living off a high from how fun our wedding was. Guest were getting up in the middle of our meal service to dance, it was so good!

It didn't feel like Milton was a vendor at our wedding, even while DJing he had the best attitude, danced along with the guest - he was a part of our day and I won't forget it.

Finally, as Milton was packing up to leave - my lively guest moved the party to the pool area and decided to jump in (fun) - Milton came over with his guitar and played for us as other guest joined in the fun jumping in the pool fully dressed. It made for some epic videos and it was so cool of him to do that.

I can't overstate my recommendation for Miltons services and I can't thank him enough for helping to make our day as incredible as it was. He is a talented Musician, DJ but best of all just a really great person to work with.

Incredible Guitarist - Far Exceeded Expectations

Miltons talent and the beautiful music he provided on our Wedding day truly made our special day even more memorable.

His ability to set the perfect ambiance during the ceremony and reception was remarkable, and we received numerous compliments from our guests about how much they enjoyed his playing. I am an event planner and had the opportunity to work with Milton and he truly went above and beyond. He played live guitar for the ceremony which was so beautiful and then kept the party going all night with his dj booth set up. Best dj ever

Choosing Milton as our DJ and musician for our wedding was one of the best decision we made in our wedding planning process. We knew we wanted to throw a raging dance party and Milton helped make that dream come to life. Multiple people told me that our wedding was the best wedding they had been to and I believe Milton was an integral part of that equation. His live guitar playing during the ceremony and cocktail hour added such a classy touch. And his DJing skills kept the dance party going till the very end. WOW, my husband and I are blown away by how lucky we got to have Milton for our live entertainment (Spanish Guitar) and DJ wrapped in one! We were totally impressed and extremely happy to have Milton as a part of our entire wedding experience - from learning our favorite song in very little time to walk the aisle to, to continuing all your favorite hits with Spanish influence on our Yacht cruise, to mixing up awesome songs we provided him while he DJ'd it up while we took over the dance floor - he does it all with ease and versatility!!

Perfect for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dance party

Milton played our wedding in Tahoe October 2022. We absolutely loved the acoustic guitar during the ceremony and the cocktail hour, and he had nicely portable setup that worked well with the beach ceremony away from power. Milton really shined as a DJ during the reception! He played a great mix of music with a lot of our favorites we requested, plenty of crowd pleasers to get the dancing going, and always seemed to have the perfect song lined up to pump things up. It felt perfectly tuned to what we wanted.

One of a kind!

Milton delivered such a unique experience for our wedding, we could not recommend him higher!! He played live guitar for our ceremony to all of our requested songs, and then played live guitar throughout our dinner. Then when the party started, he so effortlessly was able to mix songs, take requests and keep the vibe so so fun. He even brought his own accent lighting which was such a great touch. He was super friendly and easy to work with throughout the planning process as well. Overall amazing experience, 5/5 would recommend!

A DJ LIke None Other!

Milton is an amazing musician and DJ! I know many float the idea about their vendor of choice making their event fantastic but with Milton we both felt that his expertise in music, guitar playing and professionalism was beyond anything we could have imagined. Milton's guitar skill set is fantastic with him being able to play songs on the fly that myself and others requested. Milton was also able to read the room and play music that fit the timing ie., dinner etc. All and all Milton Merlos Production did such a fantastic job we are in the process of looking to hire Milton again for other events. Milton Merlos Production is worth the cost and we both where left with an experience of feeling money well spent.

Best Guitarist and DJ!

Milton was a pleasure to work with. He is professional and well organized. He went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was a success! Milton didn’t know how to play the song I was walking down the aisle to, so he taught himself how to play it on the guitar before our wedding and played it perfectly! Our guests loved Milton playing the guitar during cocktail hour as well. Milton had everyone on the dance floor when he was DJ-ing. We highly recommend Milton for your special event!

Milton is phenomenal

Milton was exactly what we were looking for on our wedding day. We knew we wanted live instrumental music during the ceremony and cocktail hour, and a DJ for the reception. Milton can do it all. All of our guests were blown away by his guitar skills. Milton also performed well as our emcee. Milton is a one-of-a-kind DJ/musician that makes your wedding extra special! Milton's unique ability to be not only a DJ but also an expert on the classical guitar will leave your guests talking about him long after the wedding. His guitar playing is phenomenal! Every song he played was a hit and he had people dancing all night! He also did a great job with MC duties and announcing things. Very easy and stress-free process through all of planning. His wedding packet made it easy to pick our songs for certain things as well as they give you space to pick must plays, good to haves, and do not plays which was great! And then from there we just said what genres of music we like, and age range of our guests and the music was truly spot on. Highly recommend Milton for a truly unforgettable wedding and/or event! We opted for the DJ + live guitar package and so glad we did. Milton crushed it at both. The live guitar is so cool and made the ceremony and cocktail hour extra awesome. Milton was an absolutely perfect choice for my husband and I on our wedding day! He was so, so fun to work with throughout the process. He brings so much enthusiasm and joy to his work. He was very organized and when we were stumped about what music to choose, he had really awesome ideas for us. He really seemed to get our vibe and match the tones we were looking for. Plus, a ton of our guests mentioned how much fun they had interacting with him at our wedding! He is an absolutely incredible guitarist and also a super skilled DJ. Just wanted to send some praises Milton's way from the wedding we worked together last night. My wife and I are a video and photography team. Milton kept us in the loop all night as far as what songs were coming up for what dance and/or wedding event that was coming up. He is a great dj, guitarist and facilitator, and very friendly and a has a great vibe on top of all that!

Acoustic guitar and DJ

I would highly recommend! Milton is extremely professional, a fabulous guitarist and came to set up early ensuring everything would go off without a hytch. He made sure all of the songs we wanted were played and would send clips of the acoustic portion prior to the wedding to make sure we liked everything. I would definitely call him again for other future events.

Talented guitarist

Milton is amazing with his guitar. Exceptional live music for the procession and for cocktail hour. He was very responsive and he was able to create a quick mix for my brother and I to dance to in such short notice!

I would just recommend improved communication with what the bride wants for procession music. There was a little miscommunication but Milton was able to play all the songs I requested beautifully!

Best Decision of our wedding!

My husband wanted a live band and I wanted a DJ for our wedding. Milton was the perfect happy medium. His flamenco style guitar talent is insane & sets such a nice ambiance for your wedding. He learned an EDM song to play on the guitar when I walked down the aisle and he even brought colorful uplighting for the beautiful rock fireplace/mantle area at our venue without us requesting it. He makes you feel very taken care of/calm leading up to the wedding and not to mention he is one of the nicest people we have ever met! Preparing for our wedding was a breeze. We are very thankful to have worked with him & hope to see him perform again one day in the future!

One fine day!

Milton was so wonderful! Our wedding was not a conventional wedding (being that we are a little older and a 2nd marriage for both of us). Milton paid attention to my details and he seemed to really enjoyed our fun, not stuffy wedding!! His guitar playing is amazing and everyone had a great time!

Milton is the best!!

Our original wedding DJ was unable to perform due to medical reasons. Milton stepped in rather last minute (maybe a 1.5 months before the big day). He was an amazing DJ and he even played the Spanish guitar during our cocktail hour. We had multiple guests comment on how great the guitar complemented cocktail hour, so that was a really nice added bonus. The DJ set was great; we had a call prior and sent over a list of songs. He played everything we requested and kept the music clean for the family. He was also a great MC during dinner and rolled with the punches well as we had a few random requests/wedding games requested the night of. You can truly tell he has a passion for music and performing in front of a crowd. Would 110% recommend him to anyone looking for an even DJ!

Great experience

Our DJ canceled abt a mount out due to health reasons. Thankfully Milton was available! He was so flexible and talented!!!! His flamenco guitar skills were amazing!! The songs that he played during the reception were soooo goood! All of our friends kept telling us how good Milton was and his choices of songs were always on point! Beautiful and Ridiculously Fun Live Music and DJ Experience

Milton is such a peaceful, joyful spirit and was the perfect musician/DJ for our our South Lake Tahoe wedding. Being from Florida and never having visited the Tahoe area before, we felt very unsure how to pick a DJ for our event. After speaking to few folks (all of whom were lovely and talented), we just felt an instant connection with Milton. As I poorly tried explaining the vision and variety I wanted for my music, Milton was able to describe/verbalize it all for me in a way that assured me he understood our dream. Milton was quickly able to engage other live musicians to jam with him during the ceremony and reception and layered in different styles for DJ portions. Milton also played his amazing Spanish guitar for our Tah-coe Tuesday themed welcome party the night before. Beautiful Ceremony

So happy that we were able to have Milton play live music for our ceremony and cocktail hour. He arrived early and was already playing when we got to the venue. As soon as I met him and heard his music I felt at ease the rest of the way. Beautiful music that really sets the scene to make those moments extra special. Don’t look any further, book Milton!

We had our small wedding at the Sand Harbor Beach in Lake Tahoe area. Seriously Milton is the best guitarist in town. It took us the whole 2 seconds of listening to his music to reach out to book and he didn’t disappoint. Guests were singing him and his violinist friend, Tim, a praise the whole time. He comes fully equipped with DJ gear as well. Super easy to work with. Don’t hesitate and book him!

Perfect Sunset Serenade

We booked Milton a few weeks before our elopement at Lake Tahoe. I can’t begin to describe how grateful I am that we did! It was so special, so romantic. He would skip seamlessly between Spanish guitar concertos and acoustic versions of classics. What an incredible musician!

Found Milton at Wild River Grille, Immediately Wanted Him for the Wedding!

My fiancé and I heard Milton playing live guitar at the Wild River Grille. He was amazing and when I found out he did weddings I was stoked! He knows just how to set the vibe. Perfect for my small wedding

Perfect Music for our Wedding

We hired Milton to play guitar for our elopement ceremony in Tahoe, and he was amazing! I saw him on wedding wire, and he was also highly recommended by our officiant. Milton was very friendly, professional, and easy to work with. He was very prompt with response times and suggestions for music. On the ceremony day, Milton made everything run so smoothly, I didn’t have to worry about a thing! He is clearly very experienced with events and productions and knows about timing, where to set up, and how to go with the flow of the event. Everyone commented on how great the music was. He played classical guitar music while the ceremony was being set up and it really put everyone at ease. His is extremely talented, plays beautiful music, and made the experience so easy! I’m so happy we worked with him. We are already talking about hiring him again if we have an event up here!

Milton made our special day at the Hyatt in Incline Village even more special!

Milton was professional and friendly. He listened to our wants and the flow of the ceremony and reception was perfect. He is not only a DJ and MC but a beautiful guitarist. We appreciated the mix of DJ music and Spanish acoustic guitar playing. It made the wedding feel intimate and personal. We would highly recommend Milton to our friends and family!

Talented and Professional Musician

Milton was a huge hit at our wedding! His music was beautiful and entertained our guests during the ceremony and the cocktail hour. We were a little late in giving him our ceremony music list and he learned one of the songs the morning of the wedding so we could have the perfect ceremony. A beautiful guitarist and fantastic DJ!

My husband and I decided to get married in the Tahoe area and were looking for a DJ. We were unfamiliar with the area and eventually came across Milton from a local recommendation. We are so glad we decided to hire Milton for our wedding. Milton worked patiently with us as we selected our songs. He also helped us create our itinerary for the day. Our wedding was seven hours long but our playlist was only three or four hours long. Milton picked up on our vibe and selected an amazing variety of music to supplement ours. He is also an amazing guitarist and filled our wedding with outstanding Spanish classical music. We recommend Milton with five stars!

Milton is the best!

At first we were just looking for a Spanish guitarist, and my dad had worked with Milton for an art showing. All I had heard was Milton’s original Spanish guitar songs which are amazing! When we found out he also offers DJ services we thought why not have one guy for all the music?! Milton is just overall musically talented. He knows how to tailor the set to be what you and your guests want to hear. My biggest concern was that people might not wanna dance at our wedding, but with Milton this was NO PROBLEM! He had EVERYONE up and dancing, people dancing with people they had never met, cousins and childhood friends from both sides of the family. It was truly magical, and Milton helped to make it all happen. I highly recommend Milton for all your wedding music needs. He will make whatever you want happen, no matter the amount of effort it takes for him. He switched back and forth from Spanish guitar to dj booth 3 times throughout the night to be able to play the right music for the right moments. AMAZING! Thank you Milton - I don’t know what our wedding would have been like without your cheerful self and the services you offer.

I hired John Ponzo & Dj Roni Ventura for my wedding party through Milton Merlos Productions and they were fabulous! John is an amazing guitar player and new how to bring the right vibe to the start of the party. Many people commented on his incredible talent! DJ Roni stepped in after dinner to kick off an amazing dance party. He had everyone on the dance floor and really new how to read the crowd. So much fun!

Milton did a fantastic job as both a musician (solo guitar) and DJ at our wedding--we can't recommend him more highly! He learned songs for our ceremony and played them beautifully, suggested a song for our grand entrance, performed flamenco guitar during the cocktail hour, and then was a DJ with a great sense of humor and feel for the party at the reception. Blown away

Milton crushed his performance at my wedding. He was perfect. My ceremony was out in the middle of the forest and Milton was so accommodating and professional. He showed up earlier than we agreed upon to make sure that he that he would be able to find our difficult location. All of our guests were blown away by how well he played the guitar and they also made a point to say how friendly he was as well. I cannot say enough at how happy we were with the whole experience with Milton. Anyone looking for a unique but phenomenal musician, hire this man.

Best Night Ever

Milton is amazing. He shows up early, has a full set up of equipment, lights, speakers all of it. We hired him for my husbands birthday party and he made the party so awesome! He even has music for in between sets. If you are considering hiring him do it!

The best DJ for your big day!

Milton was the absolute best! He played every song my husband and I want at our wedding/reception. He also played his guitar during the reception and his songs were so beautiful. Amazing milton!

Milton is 5-stars all the way. We saw him paying in a local venue over the summer (2018) and immediately wanted him to play our wedding. He plays the guitar beautifully and is fully engaged in helping you plan the music that will be the backdrop of your event. We had Milton play for 3.5 hours - as our guests were arriving/assembling, our wedding processional and recessional and then during our cocktail reception prior to supper. Everyone has raved about Milton's music - it really made our event that much more special.

We heard about Milton through a friend who had cooked at a private event and he was playing. I was looking for a Spanish guitarist to play for our wedding and I couldn't have been referred to someone better. Milton was exactly what we were looking for and exceeded any expectations. He was the talk of the wedding and really set the mood for what we envisioned our evening looking like. His music is so fun and romantic. I felt like I was back in Spain. He truly is the best. Absolutely Wonderful!

As we were planning our wedding, Milton was recommended over and over again to us as the top choice for a wedding musician in the Reno/Tahoe area. We were lucky enough to book him to play classical guitar at our ceremony and cocktail hour, and then transition into our DJ for our reception.

We were blown away with Milton's talent and ability to connect and engage our guests. He had everything dialed operationally with his day-of setup, his playing was beautiful, and as our DJ, he kept our guests dancing until the very end of the night. Everyone, from our parents to our nieces and nephews, got to hear and dance to the songs they loved.

Milton also ensured that all the little details of our evening were coordinated seamlessly, and he worked so well with our other vendors and event organizers. Do yourself a favor and book Milton for your next wedding or event if you want to have a great time.

hightlight was the live music

The live music during the ceremony was truly magical. He put together a composition exactly what we requested and it was wonderful.
With that being said, his communication was sometimes not amazing (we had to email multiple time to get a response sometimes, not always), and there wasn't good transitions between the songs during the dancing portion of the reception
