10/10, best wedding catering EVER

We used Milos for our wedding earlier this month and I have only glowing things to say. First of all, the Milos team is fantastic. Lyssa was the absolute best from the very beginning - she was incredibly responsive, answering every little neurotic question I had along the way. She even came with me to the Lasting Impressions warehouse to finalize my rental decisions because we were getting married in Columbus from out of town.
And then getting to the best part - the food is DELICIOUS!! My guests raved about the short rib and the chicken, the mashed potatoes served with both were out of this world. The appetizers were also incredible - the fried chicken deviled eggs? Insane. No one left hungry - we also did the popcorn bar (I am currently eating the leftovers while I type this and it's still so good 2 weeks later) and the slider bar. I highly recommend if you are considering Milos, I don't think you are going to find a better option out there.

Great food, service, and price!

Milo’s Catering was a pleasure to work with for our wedding needs. Our guests have not stopped talking about how great all the food was- from the cocktail hour, to dinner, and closing out with the greatest late night tacos ever (highly recommend)! We planned our wedding from out of state, so the Milo’s team was very accommodating during our tasting and were well prepared the day of the wedding.

Milo’s had very fair pricing and the food was top notch. We worked with Lynn, and everything ran smoothly, was plated and served in a timely manner, and wine and desserts were served without a hitch. Thank you for being there to make our wedding the best day ever!

Thank you Milo's!

Milo’s blew us away in every way possible on our wedding day – I cannot thank them enough for all that they did for us. We made quite the challenge for them – we got married on my family farm 90 minutes from Columbus, outdoors, on a 90 degree day. We worked with Lynn, who was absolutely amazing and so helpful. She was so supportive of all our requests and made sure everything we had on the menu would travel well. I honestly think the food tasting was one of the best meals I’ve had – everything was SO good and we had such a hard time choosing our final menu. On top of the travel and the heat, we also had an unexpected wrench thrown in our plans when a huge storm rolled in fast during our salads, pouring rain onto and into the tent. A gust of wind ripped the 3 foot long metal tent stakes out of the ground and left them flying in the air. Tables were flipped upside down by the wind, and my family and friends leapt up to grab the tent and make sure it didn’t fly away/collapse. I seriously thought people were going to be killed. To be honest, though, I didn’t comprehend how much of a disaster it was until several days later when I saw photos of the overturned tables. That’s because the entire catering team worked so hard to quickly turn everything around: resetting tables, cleaning up the mess, and making the sure the food stayed warm. Some of my guests even said a bartender was standing out in the pouring rain, ready to serve our guests drinks!! Somehow, we ended up sitting back down for a dinner that was SO good – we received so many compliments on the meal. My wedding certainly did not turn out as I had planned at all, but with the help of Milo’s it was still a huge success!

All the stars!

When we first started looking for a caterer for our wedding, we had the absolute worst luck. Many local companies argued with us for not wanting a sit-down dinner. Several added hidden fees and up-charges. More than a few never even returned our initial calls.
But we got lucky- a friend of one of my bridesmaids works at Milo’s, and she reached out to him for us. Cue smooth sailing.
Mitch- the friend-of-friend- got all our information started himself before getting us set up with the coordinator, Stacy. Not only were they more than happy to do the cocktail style hors d’oeuvres we wanted instead of a plated meal, they were also surprisingly affordable! They were totally accommodating of some of our guests’ dietary restrictions, worked with us to find the perfect menu (including some last-minute quantity adjustments), and stayed well within our budget with no sneaky fees or up-charges. All communication was prompt and clear, and everyone we interacted with- Stacy, Mitch, our bartender and serving staff- were all wonderful.
And of course the food. Even with dietary restrictions and some picky eaters, every single guest was thrilled with the food. Everything was fresh and tasted fantastic, nothing went cold or empty all evening, and we even had some leftovers (which guests enthusiastically took home).
Overall, our experience with Milo’s was exceptional, and I’m so glad they were a part of our wedding!

Michele coordinated our catering and did an amazing job. She proposed a delicious menu, worked with us through several changes to the order, and helped put together the ice cream sundae bar of our dreams. She was calm, level headed, and helped keep me calm as the big day arrived! The food ended up fantastic and our guests are still raving about it.

We chose Milo's after meeting with a couple catering companies and are glad that we did! Our coordinator was Michele and I cannot say enough good things about her. Honestly, I think part of the reason we booked Milo's was because of our first interactions with Michele. She is organized and friendly, was quick to respond to any questions I had, and on top of the details. She is such an asset for this company. The food from Milo's is amazing. We did a tasting prior to booking which solidified our choice. The wedding food did not disappoint and we had many guests comment on not only the quality of the food, but on the impeccable service. Literally every server and bartender was friendly, which was greatly appreciated. We are so grateful to Milo's and Michele for making our wedding day and food awesome!

The good was the kat fantastic food I've ever had at a wedding! I'm still getting compliments to this day! We had a Harry Potter avengers wedding and they made all kinds of candy from Harry Potter and decorated for avengers. They also made butter beer and I need that recipe because it was fantastic!

Milo's Catering provided the bar service for our daughter's wedding in June at the Ohio Statehouse. The bar staff was wonderful that night and there were never any long lines. It was great to work with Stacy on all the plans for the bar options. She helped us make sure we had just the right items for the bar, champagne toast, and wine selections. I highly recommend Milo's for your bar service at your next big event!

We worked with Milo's for our 200+ person wedding at the Statehouse and I can't say enough about how wonderful they were. Kacie was fantastic from start to finish and accommodated every request we had. The food was fabulous (bronzed sea bass and demi glazed steak received rave reviews from our guests), service was exceptional and efficient -- even with a large number of complex food allergies and restrictions.

Milo's Catering was absolutely fantastic to work with for our wedding at the Ohio Statehouse in August 2015. From our first encounter with Stacy Terman at the tasting, my fiance, parents and I were all very impressed. The food was fantastic! We served a duet plate to each guest with filet mignon, salmon, seasonal vegetables and gruyere potatoes gratin. We are still hearing comments from guests who said the food was amazing, especially considering they served over 200 guests at our wedding! Stacy and the rest of the Milo's team were truly delightful to work with and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend using Milo's! We will absolutely use them again for any future events.

We loved having Milo's cater our wedding. We had over 250 guests with plated dinners and Milo's did an excellent job serving a large amount of guests all at once. The food was delicious and they were very professional and responsive to all of our needs. They were so good that my sister is using them for her wedding next month. I strongly recommend them to anyone!

All of the guests at my wedding just RAVED about how great the food was.

The event coordinators are wonderful to work with, the food is fantastic, the menu is great with lots of options and it is pretty reasonable pricing. What more could you ask for?

I can't say enough good things about Milo's. The food, staff, responsiveness...all amazing. Our guests are still talking about the food and especially deserts! Because of them out wedding is now the wedding to beat amongst family and friends.

Milo's Catering was the exclusive caterer for our venue (Station 67). We did not host a cocktail hour. Our dinner menu consisted of pre-set salads with strawberries, feta cheese, and candied walnuts, and a buffet with braised short ribs, Parmesan crusted chicken, mashed potatoes, and mixed vegetables. The food was phenomenal. Many of our guests commented that it was the best food they had been served at a wedding. The staff was friendly and were all very helpful with cleaning up at the end of the night. I left one bag at the venue, and the staff was attentive enough to notice and take it back to their office so that it could be picked up the next week. The Special Event Coordinator we worked with through Milo's Catering was responsive to e-mail communications and also flexible with accommodating us as needed since we live in Cleveland and were planning an out-of-town wedding.

Amazing! Kacie Stover is the best! She was like my wedding planner she was so amazing. She designed the setups of the rooms for both our plan A and plan B options, she responded to emails promptly and even over weekends, she came up with creative solutions to things, she was so easy to work with and the food tasted amazing and there was plenty of it for a reasonable price. We couldn't be happier that we chose Milo's and had Kacie for our wedding!

We were very happy with our choice of Milo's for the catering for our wedding. They did a great job accommodating our need for an all Vegetarian menu and were able to give us lots of options. All our guests, vegetarian and non-vegetarian alike loved the food. Kacie, our planner was FANTASTIC! All of the servers and staff were very friendly and pleasant during our reception. Would highly recommend Milo's to any couple planning their wedding.

Milo's team is amazing, Kacie was our contact and came up with a unique menu that fit our budget. Before the wedding, she was extremely helpful and even gave us a personal tasting of the food on our menu! During the wedding reception set up and reception, Kacie and her help, went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. The food was way beyond our expectations and everyone was extremely professional. There was plenty of food and the quality was outstanding. They helped in every way. I recommend them to anyone who is considering them as a caterer. You won't be disappointed!

If we could give scores above a 5, we would. It was a pleasure working with this vendor. Total flexibility, professionalism and great food. Some highly critical guests thought that this was the best wedding food they had ever eaten. Would recommend to anyone.

We had such a wonderful experience working with Milo's as our caterer. I'm kind of a foodie so having exceptional food at the wedding was a must, but I also did not want to break our budget and Milo's made both of these things possible. We worked with Stacy and she was incredible! She was so responsive to everything we asked for and all the additions we made. We even did a late night snack with Milo's where they made mini Skyline chili coneys for my husband who is from Cincinnati and they also served Raisin Cane's chicken fingers for us. Food is often a very forgetable part of a wedding but at ours it was one of the best parts - we received many compliments on how great the food was. I made it a priority to get time to sit down and enjoy my meal and it was fantastic. We also had Milo's prepare a tray of sliders and a fruit tray to deliver to the bridal party rooms for us to eat lunch while getting ready. The food was again great and it made our lives so easy! We cannot thank Milo's enough for all their hard work in making the food at our wedding so unforgettable!

For my father, the food was the most important element of our wedding. We went to six tastings total and Milo's absolutely went above and beyond from the tasting through the wedding day. They were our last tasting appointment and we booked that day. We worked with Stacy through the entire process and she was great: responsive, friendly, and flexible with changing guest counts, etc. The food tasted the same, if not better, than it did during our tasting. Serving six people is a lot easier than serving 124, so that was amazing. It wasn't just the best wedding food, it was simply good food by any standard. So many guests came up and complimented us after. The servers were extremely friendly and professional. I understand that they really went above and beyond to help get the space set up also (due to some other vendors slacking). Just wonderful!

After our reception venue went bankrupt ( Hyatt on Capitol Square ) suddenly we were desperate to find a new caterer for our June wedding. After finding out that Milo's was the top preferred caterer for our Statehouse venue we were curious about what they were all about. From our initial contacts through tastings and the final big day Milo's provided EXTRAORDINARY service!!! Stacey, our Milo's rep, attended all our final meetings and quickly returned all emails answering any questions we had. I had compliment after compliment about the food during the reception and my "picky" father and now husband were THRILLED about the quality of the food. We had planned several things throughout our courses during the reception meal that required Milo's to time meals perfectly and they did just that. Executed our plan to a T ! The chef even came out into the reception after the meal to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. We are so thankful we found Milo's and in a world of "not so great" caterers, I can not recommend Milo's more!!!!!...

Louie and Vicke was GREAT!!! From the first meeting we had with Louie, he was very much accomadating! We had both of our parents at the tasting-we knew right there we had made the right choice (not that we had any doubts!). The hardest decision, was selecting our meal! Louie was very helpful when it came to food selections vs time of year! He was also very helpful with alcohol recommendations. The food was amazing!!! We received so many compliments on the quality and selection of food!
When it came to the lay-out of the reception hall and decor Vickie was on top of it! We went with a tuscan style head table and LOVED it! The recepetion hall was absolutely beautiful!! Vickie was extreamly helpful with the finalization process!

I would highly recommend Milo's catering to anyone!

Louie & Vickie were outstanding to work with--responsive, friendly, & helpful. From the beginning, Louie was wonderful when we were tasting food (lots of full-sized samples to choose from, nice presentation). He was helpful with suggestions (the bananas foster was quite the hit) and open to special requests. They had to use the kitchen at our reception site and were not only very kind about sharing the space, but also helpful to my aunt, who was also there to bake our cake. The servers were very friendly and responsive. Everyone complimented the food--the salmon was perfectly cooked and the specially-requested vegetarian portobello moussaka was raved about. My only regret was not getting to taste the moussaka! I would DEFINITELY recommend Milo's Catering, even if you don't have to have a Kosher event!!

Working with Louie Pappas, the owner of Milo's Deli, was one of the highlights of our wedding. We sampled food from a total of five caterers. Louie's food was by far the most delicious, not to mention made with fresh, healthy ingredients. Louie is a very straightforward, honest businessman as well. While other caterers charged for the "tastings," Louie did not. He was up front about prices, and met our requests within our budget; absolutely no surprises when it was time to write the check. We were hosting a reception for 250 and Louie's expertise was so helpful. He spent over an hour with me and my mom staging the reception and the series of events that would take place throughout the reception- ie- first dance, toasts, etc. I just can't say enough about Louie and his staff. They are the picture of professionalism and were ready for anything. The efficiency in serving the guests was the best I've ever seen. And I cannot tell you how many of our guests told me that our meal was the best they have ever had at a wedding. I would recommend Milo's Deli to anyone for any event!!

We had a wonderful experience with Milo's from the very beginning. I received a quick, very detailed response to my generic inquiry regarding their catering services. Stacy sent back a number of questions and immediately started coming up with ideas for food to fit our California theme. In just over a week, I had a detailed estimate to work with. Our tasting experience at Milo's was amazing. I worked with Stacy beforehand to figure out what we would taste. They even made dishes we requested that weren't on their menu to coordinate with our theme. All of the food was delicious! We had a hard time deciding but Stacy took notes on our gut reactions and revised the estimate to use those foods which ended up being the food we offered. When it came time to pick linens, Stacy mailed me the swatches and offered very helpful suggestions. I was an out of town bride and had no issues working with Stacy long distance. The only time I saw her in person before the wedding was for the tasting. I was able to email her pictures of how I wanted the tables set up, etc. and all turned out great. She definitely paid attention to detail and my reception was set up beautifully! I can't say enough good things about the experience I had with Milo's.

A friend recommended Milo's to us after having hired them for their wedding and we could not have been happier. Stacy was so pleasant to work with, extremely responsive, laid-back but very attentive and detail-oriented. Everything came together so well and it was one of the least stressful things we had to think about. Our guests raved about the appetizers and dinner, saying it was one of the best wedding meals they've ever had! We are so happy with our decision to work with Milo's and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer for their special event.

Kacie at Milo's was a delight to work with. She helped us design a wonderful menu including options for family with a variety of food allergies. We had a cocktail and hors doeuvres reception and Milo's provided amazing food and service. They were really great at setting up our tables and centerpieces just as we wanted. The mini gourmet hamburgers are amazing and a big hit!

The food that Milo's Catering provided for our wedding was absolutely delicious. We had a pescatarian wedding and they had no qualms with helping us plan that type of menu. The staff that served our reception was extremely attentive - they never once let our drinks or plates go empty and paid the utmost attention to us and our bridal party. The planning staff was extremely friendly and helped us plan our wedding in just a couple months. Everything went smoothly until after the reception, when we were never able to track down our leftover food or cake. No one had asked us in advance or arranged at the reception a plan for the leftover food. We paid our bill in full prior to the wedding, as is stipulated in the contract, so felt that we had little recourse in recovering the food or any monetary compensation. After calling the office the day after our wedding, we left for a weeklong honeymoon and never heard back, even after having friends call the office on our behalf. It was really quite a shame because we would have given their name to friends with a glowing recommendation had this not happened. We aren't sure to this day whether the fault lies with Milo's or with our venue, as each seemed to blame the other, but the venue at least responded to our calls and tried to help.
