Kathy was fantastic to work with from start to finish!! We used them before and during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Large selection of music and she offered greatly appreciated suggestions on music choices. So friendly and accommodating, as well as easy to get in touch with and make changes as needed. Everything was perfect, many compliments from our guests. Definitely recommend!! -

Wedding Ceremony Flute/Violin
Kathy was a pleasure to work with from booking to the day of the wedding she was very responsive and willing to listen to any ideas we had and offered suggestions. She also offered suggestions for where and if we should play music throughout the ceremony as well. We booked a solo flute and solo violinist for our wedding ceremony and they were great! I didn't hear much of the music before the ceremony, but the music I did hear when coming down the aisle and exiting sounded amazing. We couldn't have been happier with our decision to book Millennium Music! Thank you again! -

We hired the string trio to perform during the ceremony and the cocktail hour. Everything came together beautifully and sounded great. We highly recommend millennium music and Kathy.

User1381363 Sent on 10/15/2013My husband and I were married this past weekend in the gardens at Saint Clements Castle in Portland. We knew that we wanted a romantic garden setting and classical music was important to set the tone. Kathy is absolutely the right choice for ceremony music. After we first contacted her, we received a package in the mail with several CD's, pricing, lists and lists of music choices and instrument pairings/options. We decided on a violin and cello duet and couldn't be happier. Kathy has both an extensive classical list as well as popular modern song choices such as Coldplay, The Beatles, etc. Kathy is professional, fun and quick to answer all questions. She helped us choose a seamless blend of classical preludes, traditional wedding pieces, and modern fun exit songs. Highly recommend! -

Right from the start she sent us a CD with several song performances, everything was very organized, she was very responsive, and the variety of music available for us to choose from was fantastic. This vendor had me so at ease that the day of I was not worried at all about the ceremony or cocktail music because I knew I had hired a really talented, professional company. -
User1168614 Sent on 05/20/2013Millennium Music did a fantastic job at our wedding last Saturday! We had a violin/cello duo. Kathy is very easy to reach, responsive, and professional. Their prices are great. They will play any music you ask for. My husband wrote a song for me on guitar when we were first dating. With their help, he turned it into a song for a string duo. Hearing his song for me when I walked down the aisle was incredible. We received many compliments on the ceremony music. It made our day really special. -
User1726790 Sent on 07/22/2014Kathy was very responsive to my emails. I had a catholic ceremony and it went very smooth. My priest wanted a musician that was familiar with the mass parts and Kathy assured me they were the one for the job and she was right. I met with Kathy a bit before the ceremony and she gave me suggestions for music and knew what was appropriate for each part in the mass. Everything went perfect the day of the wedding. The music was beautiful. They came in to practice prior to the event and she even got a vocalist last minute when I changed my mind. They did great! -

The pianist who showed up for our wedding was unprepared and played poorly. I come from a family of musicians and it was embarrassing how many repeated mistakes were made as my wedding party and myself walked down the aisle. As one of my family members, a lifelong professional musician and Juilliard grad, put it: "In my opinion, it wasn’t like he was nervous or maybe lacked expression or musicality. He was not prepared. The music was standard, straightforward and technically simple yet there were many wrong notes. While I’m not one to throw a musician under the bus, I can’t help but think about the 20 other pianists who don’t have the connections and are struggling, would appreciate the work and would do their best for someone’s wedding." To Kathy's credit, she apologized and refunded our final payment when I reached out about what happened. But I would like to prevent this from happening to anyone else.
