The absolute best choice

Milissa Sprecher was our wedding photographer on May 26, 2022 on Captiva Island. She was far and away the absolute right choice for us; we could not have been happier with our choice to work with her. From day one, Milissa was extremely responsive to all of my communication – especially helpful when you are planning from across the country. She was prompt and thorough, and more than willing to talk through logistics and options with us.

If you or your fiancé are at all apprehensive about any “awkwardness” taking pictures, Milissa is the photographer for you. I thought for sure that my husband was going to be stiff or looked “forced” in the photos, as it’s outside of his comfort zone but Milissa’s calm and kind demeanor made the whole process seamless. She was enthusiastic without being over-the-top to where it becomes a production. We were both so comfortable with her and she is a true professional at what she does. Never intrusive but captured every special moment and really allowed the time spent photographing us to be quality time we were able to spend as husband and wife that evening. It didn’t feel like “work” to get all the shots we wanted; she really is the best! Such a sweet person who interacted with all our family members and left a lasting impression on all of us.

The photos speak for themselves – every single one is amazing. We look like the best version of “us,” not some enhanced, filtered alternate version of us. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to capture our day.

Wonderful photographer

Milissa made our wedding day so special. She was professional, came prepared with her assistant and went right to work from the moment she arrived. She made us feel so comfortable throughout the whole day, and she made sure to capture those special moments. The photos turned out absolutely stunning and we have loved being able to relive the day over and over again just looking through the album. I could not recommend her enough, she was truly the perfect photographer for our beautiful beach wedding!

It was so great working with Milissa! She understood our schedule and made sure we got all the pictures we wanted. Every picture she took turned out better than the next! I highly recommend using Milissa! I know we will use her again!

Absolutely perfect!

Beautiful Photos!!

We had a wonderful experience and the photos turned out great! She was always answering my questions and easy to get a hold of! I could not have asked for a better photographer! We only communicated over the phone and email and met the day of our wedding! She was the best choice and we are extremely happy with how things turned out! Thank you!!!

Awesome experience

Sanibel Island Wedding

When we decided to get married at our vacation home in Sanibel Island, Florida I wanted to use as many local businesses as I could. I started researching floral and photography businesses on the island, I knew things would be more expensive. However, I found Milissa and fell in love with her story. She lives with her family on the island and she has a price range for everyone. She was so accommodating to my requests. I am generally an anxious person but Milissa made me feel so comfortable and calm. She was assertive, professional and patient while directing my crazy family during portraits. I am so thankful we found Milissa, I didn't have to think about anything and could keep my mind focused on celebrating our special day. My husband and I are thrilled with how our photos turned out, they are naturally classic and elegant. I love Milissa and can not say enough good things about her. I recommend anyone looking for a wedding photographer, hire Milissa!

Perfect All Around!

Milissa was amazing! From the moment we booked, until the day of wedding, Milissa was on top of everything with the photography. She went above and beyond making sure she knew what special shots we wanted captured, and to even reached out to us the night before the wedding to recommend we move the time up to avoid a storm moving in, she saved my wedding! My husband and I were extremely satisfied with the quality of the finished photos and couldn’t wait to share them with our family and friends. We know we’ll continue using Melissa Photography for all future photos when we’re in the area and recommend her as much as we can.

Milissa and her husband were perfect for our wedding in June! She was flexible, fun, easy going, and captured perfect photos that my husband and I love! We planned our wedding in Captiva, FL all the way from Indiana and she made it low-stress and exactly what we wanted! We love her and would definitely use her again!

It was such a pleasure working with Milissa and her husband. They were extremely professional and more than flexible and accommodating to us on our day. She offered insight from her experience regarding weather in the area and was open the entire day for our needs. We had an exceptional experience and would highly recommend to anyone. Milissa photographed our destination wedding at Tween Waters Inn on Captiva Island. The entire process was very easy and Milissa was easy to communicate with. We love the photos, they really capture the day how we want to remember it. Milissa is very creative as well as talented and it was a pleasure working with her.

Simply amazing! I cannot say enough about how wonderful Milissa was. From the first phone call to the last, I felt like I was in the right hands. Photography was one of my highest priorities and Milissa delivered in every way.

On our wedding day, her personality and sense of humor added to the picture taking experience. She had us all laughing and feeling comfortable. Not to mention the pictures were breathtaking. There wasn't a single image I disliked or a single image that was missed. The posed photos appeared natural and the candid photos captured every moment just as I remembered and then some. Thank you for giving us photos that bring us right back to the day and capture the memories we will have for a lifetime!

If you are looking for a photographer in the Sanibel/Captiva area, I highly recommend Milissa. You won't be disappointed!

Milissa was amazing! She fit us in to an already full day and never made us feel rushed. The photos are amazing as well! Plus, if you happen to be a "nervous bride", she has a calming, happy demeanor and truly comes across as loving what she does!

Our experience with Milissa was amazing. First, it's important to note that neither my wife or I live in the Ft. Myers area even though our wedding was happening there. This made us very worried but once we found and talked to Milissa, our worries were set at ease. Another worry we had was that we are an interracial couple and there are a lot of cultural and racial dynamics that we wanted our vendors to be aware. This did not phase Milissa at all. She even explained to us how a photographer can account for different racial complexions versus how a camera phone is not able to do that as easy (pretty geeky but we appreciated her willingness to explain things and be patient). She arranged to meet with us the day after thanksgiving when we were set to be in town to visit our venue which was super nice of her. She talked us through her style, answered all of our questions, and even toured us around the property to get a sense of how things might go.
During the wedding day, Milissa was fantastic. Having us fill out the online questionnaire and then checking in with us really helped the day go smoothly. She was able to wrangle all of the wedding party with tons of poise and such a happy and chill demeanor. She has an amazing creative mind and helped to capture a ton of stunning photos including an epic sunset photo. Milissa is efficient and also works very well with all of the other vendors that were involved in our day. She is well-respected in the Ft. Myers events community and we could see why as she worked with the hotel wedding coordinator and the DJ to make sure we were able to get all of our favorite photos in the time frame we booked her for.
Finally, we were happy that we received all of our photos on a USB drive but that she also provides an online gallery to be able to easily use our credit. We can't say enough good things about Milissa, from beginning to end, she exceeded our expectations and we are so happy with each aspect of our relationship with her.

I am so thrilled with our wedding photos from Milissa Sprecher photography! Milissa was so wonderful to work with; friendly, helpful and organized. and on top of her wonderful customer service she took beautiful photographs that truly captured our day! We found Milissa in a search for a photographer for our intimate wedding on Captiva Island. She was very flexible with our short timeline, and worked with us to create a package that best fit our needs for the day. On the day of the wedding, Milissa was very accommodating and so wonderful to work with! She made my now husband and I feel very comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. She also respected our privacy concerns being that we are a military couple. We received our online album within 2 weeks of our wedding, and the pictures were breathtaking! I would HIGHLY recommend Milissa for your wedding day photography!

Not only did Milissa take amazing pictures of our wedding, but also was a pleasure to work with. She is professional, sweet, and friendly. She helped us a lot with the logistics of the wedding from choosing a location for the ceremony to giving directions to our limo driver who got lost. We couldn't be any happier with our choice of the wedding photographer.

Milissa and her assistant, Felicity, captured our small wedding a few weeks ago. My husband and I could not be more happy. We planned our wedding from Missouri and went solely off of reviews, Milissa's website, and conversations with Milissa when hiring her. Milissa and Felicity were hired for just 3 hours for our sunset wedding. Leading up to the event I was a bit nervous about the small timeframe we had and the number of images we wanted captured, but Milissa and Felicity got right to work upon arrival. They were fun, efficient, creative, and so very sweet! We could not be more content with our decision to hire such awesome women to be a part of our day. Milissa and her assistant Joe made our wedding the best day of our lives. We are so grateful to have them with us throughout the day. Milissa went out of her way through the entire wedding process helping me in any way she can. We are so very grateful that we were lucky to have Milissa as our photographer for our wedding on Captiva Island. Not only was she our photographer, she instantly became a quick friend. Milissa helped with so many aspects of the most important day of both our lives. Being a bride deciding to do an intimate wedding with only five guests, I was extremely lucky to have Milissa assist in helping put on my dress and made sure I looked perfect before I met up with my soon-to-be husband on the beach. At the same time, she consistantly checked on my husband to make sure that not only did he look perfect but that he was FEELING as great as he looked. Going above and beyond her duties as a photographer, we were given so much more. Milissa was professional, cultured, bright, kind, warm and extremely comfortable to be around. Post ceremony, Milissa took us to the most beautiful, remote spot she knew of on the island. As she took our photos, we felt so free and comfortable around her, she was able to catch the most pristine, natural photos a bride could ever dream of. The love and happiness flows through her work. I could go on and on with a flawless recommendation for Milissa but this page does not allow so many words! Writing a perfect review for Milissa Sprecher is an honor and a privilege!

Milissa is amazing, talented, professional! Our wedding was very non-traditional. We were only 21 people, on the beach...in shorts and very few shoes. I was very unsure of what I wanted from a photographer and had a fiancé that didn't want one at all. Milissa walked me through many options and scenarios. She was very flexible with the scheduling and assured me we could work around any weather issues. Most importantly, she took AMAZING pictures of us/wedding and had my now husband and our small group all raving at what a great photographer she was. She has a talent in making you feel relaxed and capturing special moments. Both Neil and I would strongly recommend Milissa for any photography services!!!

With this being a destination wedding I had to go off of the website and phone conversations to make a choice.
After speaking with Milissa Sprecher @ Milissa Sprecher Photography I knew I had found the fit for our event and family .Professional, visionary, insightful and so very kind. I highly recommend Milissa Spreecher Photography her quality to detail to capture every moment of our special day exceeded our expectations. We had an intimate destination wedding on the beach at Casa Ybel Resort on Sanibel Island. All of the pictures were so good we have had a difficult time choosing which ones to use.

You won't go wrong choosing Milissa, she is a pleasure to work with from the initial planning stages to the final event. We plan on having her meet us at Casa Ybel Resort on our year anniversary to shoot some casual photos.

Milissa was so amazing to work with! She was so flexible with scheduling for engagement pictures and coordinating with me from out of state! Milissa'so photos have captured every aspect of our vow renewal on our 25th wedding anniversary. She did such a beautiful job that I feel as though I can relive every moment through the photos. Not only does she have an eye for seeing a beautiful photo and the skill to produce it, she also knows how to create a story through her photos. What a gift! I cannot think of anything else I would rather have received as a 25th wedding gift than the beautiful photos taken by Millisa. My husband and I highly recommend her. She was a joy to work with!

We chose Milissa for our wedding photographer after seeing the samples of her photos. Milissa’s was very personal and wonderful to work with and her photography quality is outstanding and we were thankful that she was willing to work with our specific requests. We have a big family on both sides and 12 kids total that were in the wedding. We wanted to have pictures that involved all - on top of that, only half of the group spoke English. Milissa and her assistant Felicity were flexible and really made everyone at ease (me included!). Our wedding was planned from a distance with some bumps in the road, but we felt her support all along. On the day of the wedding we had to rework our photo schedule since the church had certain unbendable limitations and Milissa quickly organized a “First Look" to be sure we got all of the shots that we wanted. Milissa was very organized and made sure that we stayed on schedule throughout the wedding. The photos exceeded our expectations. Milissa captured every photo we requested and many more. I feel like I can relive the wedding after looking at the gallery. I highly recommend using Milissa as a photographer for the quality of photos she produces and her personality which put me and everyone at ease during the whole wedding. Milissa and Felicity were phenomenal from start to finish! They were friendly, accommodating, professional, courteous and EXTREMELY talented. They took so many amazing photos that captured our personalities, our family, and our wedding day so perfectly that I have no idea how I am going to choose which ones to hang up! I found Milissa to be very professional, very accommodating, helpful, and she has a fantastic eye!
She put both myself and husband at ease on our big day. She is easy to relate to and has a very calming nature. Which is nice on a hectic wedding day.
She has a great eye for detail. From the ring photos, to flowers photos, to my husband and myself just enjoying the moment. She captured it all.
Amazing is the only word!

All weddings have their hiccups the day of the wedding. Ours had me (the bride) a bit overwhelmed until Milissa showed up. She was on time and knew exactly what we all needed in order to get all the lovely shots she needed. My husband and I have looked back so many times and said if there is one thing we did right while planning our wedding it was choosing Milissa!
She was professional, and handled our large family with tact and ease. She was so great at personalizing our photographs. We are so grateful for the lovely photos of our wedding!

We love our photos....Milissa made our anniversary renewal ceremony extra special! It was our first time meeting her as we don't live in Florida! We traveled from Maine for this event and she was awesome! I highly recommend her if you are looking for a great photographer!!!

Milissa was awesome. She was very experienced and professional. I didn't have a wedding planner so things were a little hectic the day of, but she was super flexible and helpful. Milissa and her assistant had great ideas and made the whole day feel relaxed and organized. Not only was her service beyond what I expected, her pricing was the best for the quality she provided. Four weeks after the wedding, all of the photos were ready for review. Best choice I could have made!

I was a bride who went to had a destination wedding. Milssia Sprecher was highly recommended to me. Not knowing who she was; I emailed her. She emailed me back within hours and also made a phone call to me before I received any responses back from any photographer. She made me feel so at ease and gave me a the best price! I checked her out and was told from Tween Waters...where my wedding was held that she was highly recommended in the area. Within hours, I booked her for my December wedding. Even though I never met her until my wedding day, she was so personable and accommodating to me! The wedding day came and I felt as if I have known her for years. She is a wonderful person, who takes unbelievable pictures! She captures every moment you want and more! I would HIGHLY Recommend her and her crew to be your photographer! I couldn't have asked for a better one! Best Photographer for a Destination wedding...or anything that you would need in the Sanibel, Captivia, Ft. Myers Area!! My experience working with Milissa Sprecher for my wedding was beyond wonderful! :) She is an AMAZING photographer and just the nicest person, and so was her assistant Felicity! Milissa was so organized and calm the whole day of my wedding, which really helped to calm me down as well when I started to feel a little frantic. Looking through the photos of my wedding day brought tears to my eyes, I was able to relive every beautiful moment again! :) There was not a single photo my husband and I didn't love, every image was artistic, beautiful and well thought out. I don't have enough wall space for every photo I want printed lol! I couldn't be happier!! :)

I can't express how fantastic Milissa was in every aspect of my wedding. It was very stressful planning a destination wedding to begin with, and we decided on Milissa for our pictures. She was always in contact via email or phone. Being a neurotic bride, that was such a huge relief. She was the one that kept us in check with time for our sunset wedding. If it wasn't for her, all of our pictures and ceremony would have been in the dark! It's easy to loose track of time. I felt as though she was part of my wedding party. Nothing was staged or awkward. She posted a beautiful pic on her Facebook page before we even got home so we could see our magical night! We are going back to Sanibel to take more pictures with her for a family shoot for Christmas, and will probably continue this tradition every year. I can't speak more highly of her. I am beyond thrilled with her work.

I can not say enough great things about Milissa Sprecher! She was very responsive and easy to talk to from the start. We met in person prior to our wedding and my husband was also very excited Milissa was our photographer. Milissa and her team got there on our wedding day exactly on time and got to work right away. The team was not noticable throughout the ceremony and reception and still took wonderful pictures. My husband and I left the wedding during dinner to get some additional sunset photographs and the team was very quick to get the shots we wanted and get us back to our party. The photography team made the entire bridal party laugh and smile with ease through the entire day. We had also had 7 children in our bridal party, and there are awesome photos where all 7 kids looks great. Many of my family and friends have commented that they wished they had used Milissa Sprecher for their wedding! I am very happy with my wedding photos and look forward to using Milissa Sprecher in the future.

Milissa was a terrific photographer! I would recommend her to anyone. She was great to work with and easy to get a hold of. I love how our wedding pictures turned out. We had a great time with her on our wedding day. She had several suggestions that we never would have thought of. She also took suggestions from us and ideas from photos that we liked. The photos were edited quickly and we were able to see some sneak peeks within a week. I'm so glad we picked her as our photographer.

I discovered Milissa Sprecher Photography through several local friends who had posted her beautiful work on their Facebook pages. When I got engaged, I knew immediately that I wanted Milissa to do all of my photos. I sent her an email, and she responded immediately. I wanted to have 4 sessions with her...Engagement, Wedding, Maternity, and Newborn...and she has been with us for months now on our journey. My family and I couldn't be more pleased with her! All four sessions have been amazing!

After stealing our hearts with the sweetest engagement photos, we couldn't wait for our wedding experience! Milissa was with us for 6 hours that day, capturing every moment, which was exactly what I wanted! When I looked through hundreds and hundreds of photos from our wedding gallery, her work brought tears not only to my eyes, but to my husband's eyes...a rare event! Without her, how could we have captured the exploding joy on my mother's face, the readiness and excitement in mine, the history in my 84 year old grandmother's eyes, the sweetly intense look on my husband's face while he said his vows to me, and how my mother-in-law looked proudly at her son, knowing she had raised a man, the innocent look on my daughters' faces as they blew wedding bubbles at their mama and new daddy...all of those precious moments that only last a few seconds in our lifetime, but are now captured treasures, documented in my history...what a gift!!!

Aside from her professionalism, Milissa will go to great lengths for the perfect shot. She's not afraid to lay down in the sand, get her feet wet, crawl through the jungle, suffer no-see-um and mosquito bites, or brave a cold morning. She has a great eye. Some of my favorite photos were in locations that I wouldn't have chosen, but her trained eye saw the end in mind...a promise kept in the resulting photo. Milissa is great with children! She has stolen all those moments in time for me, and I appreciate her so much. She's the best!

Milissa is amazingly talented. She is known throughout this area as "the" photographer to get. She has a gift for capturing moments in a way no one else can- her photos were natural, creative, just incredible! And she just blended in to the background so well. Wonderful job!

Organic images is, simply put, the best you can get. Milissa is able to capture the emotions of the moment on film. She is able to pick out places for perfect, interesting pictures. She makes you feel at easy which allows you to be yourself in the pictures. I have used Organic images multiple times and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend Organic Images. Organic Images does an outstanding job Of capturing the essence of the people being photographed. Milissa has a creative eye and works hard to create settings and situations that make unique and telling photos. The photos that she has taken of my kids are more then pictures, they somehow showcase a bit of their personality in each shot. It has been said that once the wedding is over all you have left are the memories and your photographs. Let me say how thankful we are that we have the most amazing photographs ever! Milissa and her team were awesome! We came down to plan our wedding a year in advance and were recommended to use Milissa Photography. I went back to research about her work on wedding wire and other sites and was instantly impressed. Her work captures the moment and reflects the real life view in the photo. Milissa was great!!

I used Milissa for our wedding in April 2021 on The Lady Chadwick cruise off Captiva Island. She was fantastic! She used the natural sunset to full effect. The only thing I caught after the wedding that I was hoping someone would catch is that my Groom was wearing his sunglasses throughout most the wedding, even the ceremony. I did not notice because I was so stressed, didn't even cross my mind, but it's the one thing I keep looking back at that I don't like seeing in all of our pics. In the end, I would definitely recommend her to friends and family!

Milissa had just the right attitude about our wedding day photos. She made the experience of being photographed calm, well-organized, and actually far more fun than I expected. She had a list of places and poses for us, and ran through them in good time and no fuss. She produced beautiful photos for us, as well as making the actual day easy and good-natured.
