Milford hills was the perfect venue! It was unique and the staff went above and beyond to make our day run smoothly. From signing the contract to the wedding itself Heidi was very quick to respond. She was beyond organized and even had several worksheets and templates and suggested vendors that helped with wedding planning! Our guests are still talking about the food and the amazing bar tenders! I would highly recommend this venue and if I could get married again I would do it at Milford Hills.

Milford Hills was nothing short of amazing from the time we met with them for our initial tour to the actual wedding day, and even beyond! Their event coordinator, Heidi Ott, was exceptional in her attentiveness to our questions and requests and her thoroughness in response to anything we threw her way. In regard to food, the venue has so many wonderful options to choose from, and all of them are prepared with great care making each meal truly decadent and delicious. Our bar service was incredibly lively, and definitely played into the fun of the night! They were also very attentive to our guests and their requests, and took care of everyone so incredibly well. The venue overall is absolutely beautiful, providing an elegant space for the entire event and a wide variety of places to take gorgeous pictures. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and truly wants to do whatever they can to make your day as perfect as possible for you and your spouse. Funny story - on our wedding day, our bakery ended up showing up incredibly late, so by the time we were supposed to have our dessert table ready, it was still empty. Milford Hills stepped up, pulled out all the desserts that they had on hand, prepared them, and served them to make sure that we had something to offer our guests. One of their staff members even ran out to the store to pick up a cake for us so we could still do our cake cut! If that doesn't speak to the care and work they put in to make sure that you truly have the best day of your life on your wedding day, I don't know what else will. I recommend this venue for any wedding 1,000 times over - book Milford Hills!!

My husband and I got married here on 10/2/2021 and it was everything we could've asked for and more! The place is BEAUTIFUL and the staff is nothing but friendly. Heidi helped us in so many ways and our day turned out perfect with her help! The food was amazing and we got compliments from our guests all night long. It's the perfect location to give you all the amazing outdoor photo options and all the cozy indoor photos as well. We will forever recommend Milford Hills!

This venue couldn’t have been more perfect! They were amazing to work with and the food was delicious! I highly recommend to any bride and groom getting married. Worth every penny and I want to relive the day all over again!

Our daughter's wedding could not have been more perfect! Heidi, Milford Hills Wedding Coordinator, was amazing! Her and the entire staff made the day so enjoyable and we didn't have to worry about a thing! The venue, food and service I cant say enough about! We would do it all over again! Highly recommend them for any event! You wont be disappointed!

Milford Hills was an amazing place to have our wedding. Everything from our day turned out flawlessly. Our wedding coordinator, Winter, came on board less than a month before our wedding. Winter was AMAZING the whole day, being there from 9 am til Midnight. The amount of work and time she invested in our day, would make us recommend Milford Hills just to work with her. Everything about our day went with ease, from our arrival, getting ready, set up to the ceremony and reception. Everyone complimented the venue, asking us how we discovered it and stating that it was a hidden gem. This place is the perfect amount of rustic combined with elegance and class. The food was outstanding, with everyone telling us it was some of the best meals that they have had at a wedding! The staff was amazing to work with, and the bartenders a ton of fun. We would wholeheartedly recommend having your wedding here if you get the chance!

We had such an amazing day for our wedding at Milford Hills. Not only is the venue absolutely gorgeous, but the staff is so helpful! Erin was our event coordinator and she knocked it out of the park! We had a few unusual requests and she was always willing to make it work. The number of compliments we got afterwards about how beautiful the venue was made us so happy to have chosen Milford Hills. And not to mention, the food is delicious!!! The planning process was smooth and they were upfront about any extra costs. We couldn't be happier to have used Milford Hills to share our special day with our friends and family!

Milford Hills was the perfect place for our wedding. It was earthy, yet classy. The hayride to the waterfall was a lot of fun. Unfortunately it rained and we weren't able to use the outside patio or the outdoor wedding as planned, but it all felt perfect.

We had our rehearsal dinner at this hunt club. I went to visit this venue before we booked with them. They have a beautiful place in the middle of the country. The setting is very romantic and peaceful. They were great to work with and had some very affordable options for our rehearsal dinner. The food was amazing. We ended up doing a buffet. I would highly recommend checking out this venue!

We absolutely loved having Milford as our venue for our June wedding. The venue really made the event! It pulled together the rustic, yet romantic theme I had chosen for my wedding. Guests RANTED and RAVED about the food, the views, and the service. I worked with both Shae and Jill while planning my wedding. They were both extremely helpful in answering every tiny question I had and making sure the day of ran smoothly. We chose to add the firework package to our wedding. I would chose it again but if you do choose it expect a lower key firework show.. no grand finales or anything. It was still worth the money to me, but not all guests were very impressed.
The food is seriously amazing and the views cannot be beat! Gorgeous venue!

Milford Hills was a very lucky find for us! Jill the coordinator is great at her job and goes out of her way to help make your day perfect! The venue itself provided the perfect landscape for our rustic elegance theme. The best part about Milford Hills by far is the food! We go there all the time now just for lunch or dinner, if your guests leave hungry then its their own fault! The only bad side was meeting the food and beverage minimum since out of 200 invited guests we had 140 attend, but that just meant open bar tab!

I have the most wonderful experience with Jill and Sammi at Milford Hills Hunt Club. My wedding day was perfect. We were told by so many people how great the food was and also how our wedding was the best and most beautiful wedding they have been to. I truly believe it was due to my venue! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!

Staff and venue blew our expectations out of the water and went above and beyond to make our day special. The food was the best I'd ever had at a wedding and the timing of everything was spot on. This is THE venue for anyone that is considering an outdoor wedding or loves the outdoors. Don't pass up an opportunity to meet the Milford Hills staff. The day never would have been the same without their help and hard work.

Milford Hills was an incredible venue! The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating both before and during the day of our wedding. To say that they went above and beyond was an understatement. They made sure that everything was perfect, and it definitely was. The food was OUTSTANDING. All of our guests raved about their meals, that they were hot, delivered on time and delicious. They even made a special order vegan meal for one of our guests which she raved about, and was so thankful for the accommodation. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained - everything was set up beautifully. Everything was seriously perfect :)

We got married at Milford Hills on July 6, 2013. Everything from start to finish was absolutely perfect... The food was so amazing - we are still receiving compliments. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue - it is perfect for the bride and groom who wish to have a rustic/country wedding.

They go above and beyond for you and your guests... :)

Working with Anna at Milford Hills Hunt Club was fantastic! Anna was amazing and the biggest help ever. She provided us with endless help and tips. She helped set everything up and made it so easy for us to relax on the day of the wedding. The Milford Hills staff were all extremely nice and such hard workers. I felt so pampered the day of the wedding. Not only did Anna help with wedding planning and decorating she was my rock and kept me calm. The day was smooth going and flawless. Not one thing went wrong. It was a PERFECT day thanks to Anna and her team! I highly, highly recommend this venue for anyone that is outdoorsy!!! It was beautiful and little to no decoration is needed. We seriously couldn't have asked for a better ceremony/reception site. The food was also AMAZING! Milford Hills covered all of our needs! Anna was constantly keeping us updated and checking in with us, she responded immediately to our questions. It was a true pleasure to work with Milford Hills and Anna!

My husband has been a member at Milford Hills for years and the first time he brought me out there we knew it would be the perfect place for our wedding. It is such a beautiful and unique venue!!! Anna, the events coordinator, is absolutely AWESOME...always on the ball and super responsive. She made our wedding day run so smoothly and kept my mind at ease the throughout the entire wedding and the months (and months) of planning before. Compliments are still rolling in about the facilities, the food (many said it was the best wedding food they'd ever had), and the impeccable service. Thank you Milford Hills!!!

This place is awesome! We had our August 2013 wedding here and our guests just can't stop talking about it. The location, food and everything was just great. The coordinator Jill was a dream to work with. She made everything come together seamlessly and made me feel very at ease the day of. I would definitely recommend this place. So glad we chose Milford Hills for our wedding venue!

Our wedding day at Milford Hills could not have been more perfect. Erin, our planner at Milford Hills, took over two months before the wedding and did a fantastic job. The staff was extremely friendly and their service at the reception was amazing. Multiple guests came up to us and told us how great the bartenders were and that the dinner was the best they've ever had at a wedding. If you're looking for an intimate venue with a rustic, outdoor feel this place is perfect. My husband and I are beyond happy we chose this place for our wedding day.

A year later, we are still hearing guests say that Milford Hills was one of the absolute most gorgeous wedding venues they had ever been to, and we agree!! We LOVED the setting and atmosphere of this hunt club. The food and drinks (plus wait and bar staff) were superb. We also loved that we were able to have both our rehearsal & rehearsal dinner on the property. They were organized in regards to keeping track of our requests, wants, wishes, and needs. That being said, the only frustrating part was the fact that wedding coordinators switched a few months prior to our wedding. The second coordinator we worked with then did not tell us until our rehearsal day that she would not be there on our wedding day, and that someone else would run the rehearsal. THEN, one more person was in charge on our wedding day. It was frustrating to coordinate with so many different people, but they handled it as best they could. Looking back, I wouldn't have had my wedding anywhere else. It's a unique place, and one that you'll remember forever!!

Beautiful venue, great food, flexible staff to help accommodate your wants.

At times during planning it was hard because there were about 3 different people working with us, and things changed. JILL was amazing- best wedding coordinator ever!

Gorgeous venue. We were actually at the Hideaway which is the smaller/cheaper venue option at Milford Hills. They did raise their prices significantly though from when I was quoted so warned about that. They also charged gratuity on everything even using different napkins. Great venue for a small intimate weddings

First, I'll start with the good:
- EXCELLENT food; guests (and us!) loved it
- Friendly and professional staff day of - ALL bartenders and servers the day of our wedding were fantastic!
- Beautiful venue with good value in freedom of customizing several bar and food options

The sole negative piece driving this review is the lack of professionalism and poor communication demonstrated by the various coordinators and overall management.

The not-so-good:
- Milford Hills went through 5 wedding coordinators since our contracted time with them (about 1.5 years), and we were only informed during one of those changeovers (In another instance, I had been trying to e-mail our coordinator for several weeks when finally I got an auto reply to the most recent e-mail I had sent saying "fail to deliver". Upon calling Milford Hills, they informed me that the coordinator had left weeks ago). Between each replacement, I'd estimate that only about 60% of our planning details got conveyed correctly. Each coordinator gave us different information bits for fairly large details necessary for wedding planning (e.g. how many people the venue can fit, available beverage packages, discontinuing dinner items that we planned on serving) - this made wedding planning a lot more work than it should have been.
- Milford Hills dropped our planned rehearsal dinner for another event and only gave us about 3.5 weeks notice
- The event coordinator that Milford Hills gave us for the day of our wedding had no prior experience ever coordinating a wedding. While she overall did OK, she failed to do several key things that we relied on her for, such as distributing tips to vendors and cuing our ceremony and processional

I'm not usually someone who writes reviews, but I received an e-mail from asking Milford Hills for feedback shortly after our wedding. After providing the very feedback described above, I got an e-mail back from management that was very defensive, denying that they have any of these problems, and making it sound like we just should have been grateful that they allowed us to keep the pricing that they had when we booked with them. Weddings and mistakes happen, and I get that our wedding wasn't the biggest priority to them, but to see management not even entertain the possibility that details got dropped on our wedding, and to take our constructive criticism so ridiculously, was a bit disappointing and should maybe serve as a caution for future brides. There are very little reviews from 2019 on here and I'm starting to wonder why. Overall, I think you can absolutely have a beautiful wedding here - but for everything to run smoothly, you might be better off hiring your own outside coordinator.
