Professional, Organized and Delicious!

Absolutely blown away with the entire planning process and outcome of our event. Our coordinator Jayne was an absolute rockstar and truly so talented. she truly thought of ever single detail and helped us plan such a unique experience for our guests. The entire banquet staff was so kind and professional and the food was phenomenal! I will forever recommend creative cuisine to any bride I meet and we plan to use them for other family events in the future! Thank you for everything!!

Complete excellence

The food they presented for my son's wedding was delicious! They far surpassed the quality of most catering. We needed gluten free options as well as vegetarian options. They were able to seamlessly come up with a menu that took both of these needs into consideration. The food presentation was pleasant. The taste was outstanding. The folks that were serving on their behalf were fabulous. I would highly recommend Creative Cuisine Catering.

So helpful and delicious!

We couldn’t have been happier with Creative Cuisine as our wedding caterers! We worked with Jayne, and she was amazing from start to finish! Even when we were horribly late to our scheduled tasting, the team made everything work for us and were extremely forgiving and gracious. Jayne helped us through every step of planning along the way and was there on our wedding day to make sure everything went smoothly. Our food was all delicious and wonderful on the night of the wedding, and all of the staff were phenomenal. We absolutely would choose Creative Cuisine again!

Made a pandemic out-of-state wedding possible

The food was great and everyone really enjoyed it. The staff were completely professional. We were so nervous never having met the team in person and we hadn't tasted the food since we were planning an out of state wedding. They made it so easy to plan our wedding during a pandemic and across states and communicated everything with us so we were always on the same page. Jayne was amazing, had great response time every time we had questions and helped us organize our timeline when we just didn't have a clue what we were doing. She attended zoom meetings with us since we couldn't come to in person appointments. She even adjusted our dessert package for us so we wouldn't overpay when we found out we would have fewer guests than anticipated! Fantastic vendor.

Delicious food!

Creative Cuisine provided truly delicious food for my daughter’s wedding. We selected four wonderful appetizers; their maple glazed pork tenderloin; the pasta station with penne pasta, chicken, meatballs, and two sauces; and the mashed potato station. And to top it all off, we selected the Flaming Donut station, which was off the charts delicious! The butter, brown sugar and rum sauce was so good, and the homemade vanilla ice cream was the perfect compliment. Rhonda was easy to work with, and her recommendations were spot on. Everything was wonderfully prepared, and we got so many compliments on the food!

Wonderful team!

Jayne was a wonderful communicator. She was able to make adjustments time and time again as COVID and other factors impacted our final count and needs. The food was affordable and delicious! If you do a morning wedding, get the turkey sausage and waffles! They're amazing. Her team was prompt, hard-working, friendly and made sure we felt taken care of. They encouraged us to rest and actually eat during mealtime. She and her staff made sure our special diet guests were served safely and individually. We would highly recommend them.

Amazing food, fantastic service, and super organized!

My experiences with Creative Cuisine has been nothing but spectacular, from the moment I contacted them and had a phone call with Jayne. Jayne was very organized, efficient, and responsive to all my emails. As a detailed-oriented person, I was at ease knowing that a very major part of my wedding was being handled by Jayne.

The most important aspect of catering: the food. I chose Creative Cuisine because of the huge and diverse menu that they offer. I am from Vietnam, and would like to have some Asian-inspired items at my wedding. The 2 entrees I landed on was the Gochujang chicken thigh (an off menu item), and the Teriyaki sirloin. The Gochujang chicken, despite being mildly spicy, was a hit among our guests. The DJ even made a comment on how good it was a few times. The steak was very tender, even after sitting in the warming tray for a while. The gulf shrimps that we had during cocktail hour was amazingly fresh and large. The other appetizer item, the prosciutto wrapped asparagus, was so good that we did not have any leftover. As a passionate homecook, I can tell that their ingredients are very high quality, and the food was totally worth the price.

Last but not least, I would like to compliment the staffs that worked on our wedding night. They were very professional and efficient. They broke down the chairs and tables, and packed everything away really quickly at the end of the night. All we had to do was to load the decorations up into our cars.

Overall, my wedding was a success because of the amazing food and excellent service from Creative Cuisine. It was money well spent for me. If good food is a priority for you, definitely go with Creative Cuisine!

Couldn't be happier - Professional, Flexible, and Excellent food!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Jayne at CCC and her entire team. We had our wedding in January '21 and had to make the tough call to push our reception to August '21. Jayne and team were amazing at communicating and accommodating and the food was FANTASTIC!

Caterer for my daughter's wedding

Creative cuisine was the caterer for our daughter's wedding and they did an excellent job. Covid definitely made things more complicated and they did a great job under the circumstances. Kristen, our event coordinator, was a rock star and went above and beyond. Highly recommend!

Fabulous - special thanks to Rhonda

Creative Cuisine was fabulous! Highly recommend.
From our first meeting with Rhonda at Creative Cuisine she was professional and full of helpful hints and suggestions. Then Covid hit - and we re-planned a wedding in 4 hours. Again - Rhonda stepped up and simply made things happen behind the scenes for us. A complete wedding re-planned in 4 hours thanks to Rhonda. Last week during the actual reception - Rhonda and her team again exceeded all expectations. Things were delivered early, there was plenty of staff support and everything was positioned to ensure a safe Covid reception. When things went awry with a partner vendor - Rhonda made things right without even asking. Again, highly recommend.
Oh - how was the food - FABULOUS! We received many compliments about the food, courteous staff and how well the reception was organized.

Wedding during Covid 19

Creative Cuisine was very easy to work with, especially during the Covid 19 virus. My stepson and his finance' were scheduled to get married on March 21st! When we called to reschedule for July 17th they very cooperative and happy to accommodate. The food was absolutely amazing. And the staff was very helpful. Rhonda Brown we extremely helpful and attentive during the process.

Easy to work with and Delicious

The food was delicious. They were able to work with us on a great menu that fit the needs of all our guests and it was raved about for months after the event. We had a very large wedding, and they were able to get everything out quickly and conveniently so that we didn't create a massive hold up with a buffet. Everything i asked for, they were able to deliver seamlessly. I would choose them again if i were to cater another event in Columbus.

Everything Was Fantastic!

The best food and great to work with

I cannot say enough good things about Creative Cuisine! My daughters wedding was last weekend at Camp Mary Orton. From the minute I was in contact with Rhonda, our consultant, through the end of the reception, she was great to work with. She was always responsive, she and her staff were very professional and kind and knew what they were doing. The food was delicious! I had so many people tell me they loved the food and wanted to know who did the catering. Several people told me it was the best reception food they had ever had. The Yankee Pot Roast was melt in your mouth amazing. Rhonda thought of everything we needed. I was a little anxious about the venue because we would be doing all the set up ourselves, including the floor plan. Rhonda made a floor plan and then we finalized it together. She came early to help with set up. We had a friend make all the deserts, and Rhonda helped me figure out what serving platters I would need, gave me a great discount to rent theirs instead of trying to piece together what I needed. Her staff set up the table and kept it stocked all night for me. We could not have had such a smooth wedding day without Rhonda and her crew. You cannot go wrong with Creative Cuisine. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Amazing caterer!

I'm so glad we used Creative Cuisine to cater our wedding! We chose them not only because we were so impressed with the food, but also because the staff is wonderful. Les was incredibly knowledgeable, thorough and kind at our first consultation, and she remained such an asset throughout the entire process. She was super helpful on our wedding day, ensuring that everything went smoothly. I would hire Creative Cuisine again in a heartbeat! I'm very grateful!

Tolkien inspired wedding/Irish inspired food

My husband and I were married June of 2018 with a Tolkien inspired wedding. We wanted guests to feel like they were attending a party in the Shire with Irish inspired foods. One of my favorite Columbus restaurants is Fado Irish Pub. We gave Creative Cuisine a list of our favorite dishes on Fado's menu and they put their own spin on all of them! They were all amazing and fit our vision perfectly. We still have guests from the wedding telling us it was the best wedding food they had ever eaten! Thank you for being an amazing part of our day!

We had a great experience with Creative Cuisine. Our venue required us to pick between two different catering companies. We met with both and instantly knew which one to pick without even trying the food. We were first assigned to Terri who ended up leaving a few months later. The transition to Rhonda went very smoothly. She was extremely helpful throughout the whole process and always answered my e-mails quickly which was a huge relief. We planned a 100% vegetarian menu and had no issues finding delicious food for our menu (partly due to the chef previously being vegetarian). Rhonda also acted as our day of coordinator which relieved a lot of stress and anxiety from the day. I recommend this catering company for your wedding.

When we initially started working with Creative, we were working with someone who retired before our wedding. I was nervous.... but once Les picked up our account, my nerves were settled. She was amazing and super helpful. I was a little crazy with all of my questions and concerns and she was super responsive and helpful. Everything turned out great the day of and people are still raving about the food. The mac and cheese was simply superb!

For our wedding at the Franklin Park Conservatory we had Creative Cuisine cater our cocktail and buffet reception. Creative Cuisine's menu and variety of appetizers, sides, and entrees were amazing!! We got so many compliments about how great the food was throughout the night...and after a few tastings we finalized on the perfect most delicious menu!!! We worked with an amazing consultant by the name of Kristen Kerr! She was so great and helped us stay on task and provided us with advice throughout our wedding process. Another great thing about Creative Cuisine is not just the food, but the service they provided. We got more than just catering, we got the whole package. Thank you Creative Cuisine and Kristen for a wonderful wedding.

As Parents of the Bride and planning an out of state wedding, we faced many challenges. We found Creative Cuisine at a Bridal Show and when we met with them, we felt they had a lot of the experience and professionalism that we were looking for. We worked with Jean Ransom and she was instrumental in making the Wedding Day a huge success. The Wedding venue that our daughter selected provided only "the space". Jean was able to provide everything we needed like tables, chairs, linens, and how to even configure the seating arrangements and floor plans to get everything to fit and flow perfectly. We had the opportunity to do a food tasting to finalize our menu choices and we were delighted with everything. The day of the wedding went seamlessly including breaking down and resetting rooms that needed to serve dual purposes. The food and presentation were top rate. We received many compliments from guests after the event. Jean had ideas and suggestions that really helped achieve our daughter's vision for the day. She knew what would work and what wouldn't and that led to a Wedding Day that was awesome! I would highly recommend Creative Cuisine and especially Jean Ransom.

We were fortunate to host our event at Bryn Du Mansion and Fieldhouse. The Mansion is a beautiful, elegant backdrop, however, the Fieldhouse is an entirely blank canvas requiring more thought and effort to create the bride and groom’s vision for their big day.

Top-notch food and service were high priorities for us. We took the advice of the Bryn Du staff and contacted three of the vendors who most frequently cater events there. Among all of them, Creative Cuisine stood out due to the effort of Kimberly Frank.

With just two months to work through all of the details, Kimberly was on task from start to finish. With her knowledge of the industry and outside vendor contacts, she was able to help us assemble a team to pull it off. From designing the menu to securing linens, tables, chairs, draping and lighting, Kimberly was with us every step of the way. Our weekly meetings with her were very productive and left us feeling confident that we were on track to achieving our vision. All of our last-minute requests were handled with ease and assurance that everything would be accommodated.

The day of the wedding was an absolute pleasure for us knowing Kimberly was in charge behind the scenes. Her attention to detail and meticulous execution were flawless. Our guests were wowed at every turn. Cocktail hour in the Mansion was a combination of refreshing beverages and delicious appetizers. Dinner followed in the Fieldhouse which was transformed from an empty shell to a glowing ballroom. The room was a vision of perfection. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed our dinner selections wonderfully executed by the chef. Everyone appreciated the attentive service of the staff. In all, no detail went unnoticed under Kimberly’s careful supervision.

The day ended with compliment after compliment from our guests. Without the support and guidance of Creative Cuisine and Kimberly Frank in particular, we may not have been so successful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

My wife and I chose Creative Cuisine to cater our wedding this past September. The entire process with Creative and our wedding planner, Kimberly Frank at Your Event Made Perfect, was very smooth and they were up front with us at all times. They worked with us on multiple occasions to get exactly what we wanted while keeping our budget in mind. The tasting process at their facility was amazing and they really treated as if our wedding was their number one priority. We ended up going with a plated dinner for our reception and heard people raving about the beef short ribs all night. The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. Creative was able to serve all 155 people within a couple of minutes and the servers were very accommodating and always had a smile on their face. Creative helped create the wedding of our dreams and for that we will forever be thankful!

Amazing food! Everybody came to us to say how delicious and amazing the food was! We are very very happy with the service provided by them. We had a server assigned specifically to our table. We felt like a prince and a princess with all care and attention we received from the whole staff. Thank you Chef Jim for an amazing wedding buffet.

We used creative cuisine to cater our wedding and they did an absoultely phenomenal job! The food was delicious and hot and everyone raved about it! Our staff went above and beyond what was expected of them. One of our servers even ended up helping me clean myself up after our cake cutting haha! But seriously these guys made everything go off without a hitch, we were so impressed! We worked with Tiffany and she did an amazing job working with us and handling all of our needs.

Great business to work with! Awesome customer service and was great to work with for the wedding! The food was yummy, they were extremely professional, and we have no complaints! It was a tad on the pricey side, but we just altered some things to cut costs and it worked out. Great quality of food, rentals, and service.

After having experienced their expertise at several weddings, we used Creative Cuisine for our company holiday party. Terri Engle was our contact, and she worked with me to customize a menu that fit our budget. Everyone raved about the food. We've had this event at several area restaurants over the years (at more than double the cost) but this was, by far, the best quality meal we've ever had. We recommend Creative Cuisine to all our clients who are looking for great food, at a great price, with awesome customer service.

Great business, quick and efficient. Also as a bonus they use earthy friendly serving utensils, plates, cups, etc. Les is wonderful to work with and we will continue using this service :)

Creative Cuisine did a wonderful job at our wedding last weekend. They were more than helpful making sure everyone got through the line quickly and even had all the leftovers in boxes for me ready to go at the end of the wedding.

I was easily influenced to hire this catering company since I worked for them while I was in college. I know I may seem biased but I did quote with other catering companies and I knew I was getting a better deal and the type of service I was expecting with Creative. I worked with John Sowder and he was the best person to handle my event. He is very laid back and open to ideas and was easy to get in touch with. He would always respond within a few hours to all inquires, which was great for me! He constantly quoted and re-quoted for me, until my mom was even satisfied. We did food stations which everyone loved. The food turned out great. The venue looked amazing, they did the table runners, hung paper lanterns, placed name cards, and more. The staff were friendly and efficient, especially Sam. I have great respect for what they do (since I did it too, at one point) and they helped to make our wedding wonderful. I would highly recommend Creative.

We had our reception in our backyard and Creative Cuisine provided everything we needed for our special day. The food was delicious and in proper portions. We selected mostly finger foods and small bite items and they were all yummy and fresh. We also arranged for our tables and chair rentals. They had a great selection of linen colors and table tops and a range of chairs to fit every budget. We liked them so much, we contracted them again to handle our friend's wedding a month later that was also hosted at our house.

Hired them for our wedding and cannot recommend enough! Rhonda was easy to get in touch with and made sure everything went smooth wedding day. Most importantly, the food tasted amazing! highly recommend the short rib, so many guest were raving about it!

Terri Engel was our catering contact, and she was wonderful and very responsive to all our requests. Our reception was held at the church where we were married. On the day of the wedding, Terri helped us avoid what almost was a major disaster with a different contractor who made our cake. In addition, Chef Paul's lasagna is some of the best we have ever had. The bride is 100% Italian, and she knows lasagna! We strongly recommend Creative Cuisine.

We hired creative cuisine to handle the catering at our very small and intimate yet formal wedding to take place at our parents lovely home across from the New Albany golf course. Being that this was our second wedding for the two of us we both had our list of what was important to us. When we hired creative cuisine and planner Julie Rinn, little did we know that we were getting evertthing we asked for and more. The team showed up on the fourth to prepare for the event with every detail not forgotten. All of our guests felt that they were extra special. The house was left in the same condition upon their arrival, all the dishes were cleaned and everything back in its original place. The presentation of the food display to the taste and quality of the food exceeded our expectations. We would chose creative cuisine anytime for another event. Our day went by without one flaw.

Creative Cuisine did a great job on my daughter's wedding. If I could give extra stars for flexibility, I would. My daughter and her husband had very specific ideas and Creative Cuisine bent over backwards trying to accommodate them. Also, the coordinator, Terri, was just terrific. She gave us all kinds of good ideas, and she was totally professional. The bottom line was that the food was terrific. The wedding guests all commented on how great it was. The staff working the event itself were great, too. They were very helpful and cheerful. I would absolutely use them again, and I would recommend them highly.

Kristen and her team catered my wedding at Via Vecchia. We received many compliments on the food, and the service was pretty good as well (it maybe could have been a little quicker, but plated dinners are often slower). Kristen also helped with decor set up and was very helpful leading up to the wedding!

First and foremost, Terri is a great asset to Creative and I hope you get the chance to work with her. Beyond the benefit of her significant experience, she has an innate knack of understanding the substance and theme of our wedding and getting that turned into real (and affordable) design options including some intangibles that we'd not considered. The CC staff was also great the day of, including Rhonda who managed to be both crazy efficient and happy at the same time.

On our budget, we went with a buffet versus plated dinner for the reception, and I thought the chicken (with corn salsa) and salmon entrees could have been more flavorful. But the appetizers were great, the pies were outstanding, and the beverage service was a hit. CC had good suggestions, and accomodated two different signature drinks and added very stylish touches to both.

Their pricing was on par with their competition; we had quotes from three vendors of the same size. Also note when planning your reception: having it close to caterer is a plus.

Wow, what a great experience. This is a company that knows how to deliver. They delivered great food at a very fair price, and the service staff was so professional. I will only be using Creative Cuisine for all my upcoming events.

Delicious food. Great customer service

From the beginning, Josh at Creative Cuisine was amazing. I felt heard and understood about what I wanted. We wanted to keep the cost down, and CC made suggestions that stuck with our budget. They also made great recommendations and everything turned out great for our guests!

Thank goodness for Creative Cuisine!

Creative Cuisine was great! They not only brought good food, they made the buffet station look beautiful with table decor. It doesn't sound like much but it was an unexpected and much appreciated touch of style. There were a few areas that could have been better. I would have liked the wait staff to fill water glasses more often and the champagne poor was minimal which meant I ran out of champagne and water by the third toast. Overall, the food was good, the set up was beautiful, the staff was great and I was very happy with the level of service we received.

We initially worked with Terri, and she did an amazing job of listening to our needs and letting us know how we could save money! Terri from Creative Cuisine was wonderful. This company gave us the best quote and we loved their food. All of our guests also loved the food. We served a steak/chicken combo with cheesy potatoes and asparagus. Our vegetarian friends ate a spinach tortellini which is so delicious. They made sure everything ran smoothly and our night was perfect because of all of their help. They offer tasting events at their facilities multiple times per year where you can taste a variety of their menu options- free of charge. Definitely check this company out!

We worked with Creative Cuisine for our wedding at Red Brick Occasions in May. Everyone on staff was incredibly helpful and professional throughout the entire experience, from the initial planning to the setup to takedown. Our coordinator Marla was a dream to work with--super organized, kind, and patient. And the food was wonderful! The menu has enough variety that we felt confident that every guest would find something to enjoy, and we heard rave reviews all evening. The family style option was the way to go, for sure. I enjoyed my experience and appreciate all the work they put into our wedding day!

I was so worried about the food not being good because it was buffet lines but I got SO many compliments on how good it was. I couldn't have been happier!

I didn't give a 5 on responsiveness because I had to ask for some things multiple times over the course of several weeks or months. I also gave less than 5 on value because I personally thought the food was too expensive after labor fees and all but I have heard others didn't think it was too expensive.

We were appreciative to be able to provide items that would normally be part of the catering package. This was a great $$ saver. Also, we provided all the alcohol, mixes, cups, napkins, etc. Creative only provided the bar tenders - what a savings! Terri from Creative did the flowers for the entire wedding, this was convenient to have one less business on the list. Simple instructions were provided to us on how to organize and what to provide to Creative so their job could be completed to our satisfaction.

We had a great experience with Creative Cuisine. We had a multi-cultural marriage with a lot of different food requests and they were able and willing to meet all of them! Their service at the reception was fantastic as well!

The CC staff was extremely polite and professional at our wedding, and were more than happy to accommodate any of our requests. We weren't extremely pleased with the food, as it was not cooked properly, however we had selected low priced options as the food was not our biggest concern. I personally use CC for corporate catering, and have had very positive experiences!

We contracted Creative Cuisine very early on in our process for the wedding reception. We started out with one rep. Then ended up with another. Which would normally be fine, but I don't feel as though we received an even trade. In one of our discussions, the caterer told us that she didn't think Hennessey was fitting for our crowd...really.. Anyway,she was more concerned about the alcohol-which we were required to purchase and deliver to the venue, by the way- than about any other detail of our reception. This was frustrating. If they want to control the bar, then they need to provide the alcohol in the amounts they deem appropriate. At any rate, on the day of the wedding, they didn't bother showing up until after 2pm for a 4:30 ceremony (same venue as reception) I didn't get two linens for my outdoor tables-thanks for that- and everyone was about to pull their hair out because we needed to decorate. We also couldn't get ahold of anyone by phone!! Granted, we were going to pick up the linens the evening before, but time didn't allow for that and we called to let her know.p the evening before. Since it was a destination wedding, I'd never met her in person, but she did introduce herself and walk away. Their saving grace, and I wish I could remember his name, Mike, maybe? Was overly cordial and constantly offering us drinks and apps. He was a gem, as well as the rest of the staff. It was only the "face" of the company that really rubbed us the wrong way. You know who you are, I'm not going to blast it out there, but you're supposed to make a wedding easier. Otherwise people would make their own food. You paid you handsomely for "reception coordination" services. Uhmmm, yeah. Sorry that Jean Ransom had moved on. We truly enjoyed her during our initial consultation.

We apologize for any inconvenience or unhappiness that you experienced during the planning portion of your wedding. We try to create a good sense of ease and trust between our event consultants and our clients. We would like to address some of your issues:

We have years of experience working with our clients on their alcohol purchases. Our intention was to help save you money, not question your choices and we apologize that it did not come across that way.

We schedule our staff to arrive two hours prior to the start of an event. This is standard for most events and a suitable amount of time to accomplish the set up. According to the floor plan we received from you, there were no outdoor tables shown. The linens were on site and had the oversight been brought to our attention we would have corrected the situation immediately. Arrangements were made for all linens to be picked up the Friday before your wedding. At 4:30 your fiancée called to say hr was running behind and would not make it on time to pick them up. Our owner offered to wait but was told it would be okay to send them with the staff on Saturday. Our phone system forwards messages in the event that we are not in the office to take calls. Three people receive these forwarded messages and none were received Saturday. Had we received a voicemail we would have responded appropriately.

One final note – your event planner was on site from 3:30 pm until after 6:00 pm assisting with set up, food prep and bartending. We are sorry you feel you did not receive the attention from her you desired. Planning long distance events is always a challenge and while we are pleased you chose Creative Cuisine for your special day we are sorry all your expectations were not met.
