Can’t recommend Mike’s services enough! Mike and his associate Chris were such professionals from start to finish. They made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera (which is no easy feat!). They captured the natural ambiance of our venue, countless amazing portrait/posed photos of us and our important people, as well as so many amazing candid moments of us and our guests enjoying our day. And somehow, Mike managed to make wedding party and family photo sessions easy, breezy, and seamless (again, not an easy feat!). We are beyond thrilled with our our pictures turned out. Mike is hands down one of the best photographers I’ve ever worked with. From the beginning, Mike was communicative, professional, and kind. My fiancé and I did our engagement photos with him and did an amazing job capturing our vision! He made the whole shoot so comfortable and fun. And he works fast! He turned our photos around in just a couple of days. Honestly, just overall a great experience. If you’re in the market for a photographer, Mike is truly one of the best! -

Being an exceptionally unphotogenic person, I didn't have high hopes for my wedding photos and actually dreaded the experience.
Then came Mike! His work speaks for itself, but Mike is truly an artist. He made me feel like the beautiful bride I never dreamed I could be! I look at these photos and feel gorgeous for the first time. We couldn't be happier with the results and that we have these photos to remember our special day.
Excellent work, excellent candid shots, and Mike fit in to the wedding so seamlessly that people thought he was an old friend of ours. He is flexible with scheduling, fairly priced, and exceeded expectations. Book him now! -

Where do I start?! To say I’m appreciative for Mike Yoon would be a serious understatement. I stumbled upon Mike’s profile while looking for someone to capture engagement photos for our save the dates. Not only were we floored by how the photos turned out, but we instantly bonded with Mike. He has a cool, understated confidence about him and instantly put me on my now husband at ease. Fast forward almost a year later, and we have done two additional photo shoots with Mike; including our wedding and I can’t say do you have enough good things about him. I am so so so in love with our wedding photos. Mike is painfully talented.He is intuitive, artistic, humble, kind, and just an overall amazing person. I can’t recommend Mike enough. -

So happy with how our photos came out! Choosing a photographer was very stressful because we wanted to make sure it would be a good fit. These are memories you will cherish forever!
We are so happy and thankful for booking Mike! He's easy to talk to and makes taking photos fun and not awkward! As a couple we had never taken photos together, so there was a learning curve. Mike made us feel comfortable during our engagement shoot so that by the end of that shoot we were camera ready for the wedding!
His edits are great and really capture the moment! I would definitely recommend Mike Yoon for your wedding and engagement photos! -

Mike was so easy to work with & the quality/styling of the photos was everything we wanted & more. We booked him before the pandemic craziness & Mike was so great in coming along the crazy journey of planning a wedding during a pandemic haha. A lot of our original plans changed fell through & he was super flexible & assisted us in any way he could to help salvage/make our day special.
For our engagement photos, we were crazy & decided to do it in Joshua Tree in the heat of summer haha. Thankfully, Mike knew all the right spots to hit, which made the photoshoot quick & efficient. The pics came out AMAZING, worth the sweat.
We had planned our wedding for October 2020 & decided no matter what, October 3rd we would get married whether it be big or small. We ended up having a small intimate wedding with just our immediate family on that day, but we also had a somewhat normal wedding on October 17th. Mike was present for both! Leading up to our October 17th wedding, a day & a half before, our venue was closed! By some miracle, we were able to secure a bigger & beautiful outdoor wedding venue within hours of the devasting news of the last venue. Anyways, there were a lot of last minute changes & people/vendors we had to contact. Mike's timeline helped A LOT, it was like the one thing that was consistent & unchanged. We used his timeline to dictate & plan this "new" day, it was amazing. Among the other super heroes who helped save our wedding, Mike was definitely one of them.
Overall, his photos are beautiful, he knows all the right angles to shoot (no double chins to be seen), he has a great eye for composition & the knows the right moments to capture. If it's your first time planning a wedding, Mike has a lot of experience with the wedding industry & day of events. We look forward to doing another photoshoot with him for future events :)

Mike Yoon is a complete pro who was easy to communicate with and a joy to work with. We opted to only do the wedding day shoot (prep, ceremony, first look, reception, etc.) and confidently trusted him based on his collections we saw on his website.
For our wedding, Mike was on time and killed it with staying on schedule, even our day of coordinator kept praising him. Furthermore, as we were doing shots he would show my husband and I live samples which got us more excited for the final product. Six days after our wedding date our highlighted collection set was complete! Amazing turn around time and a pleasant surprise. The pictures came out amazing and truly caught the beauty and elegance of The Casino San Clemente and surrounding beach area. And of course, the pure bliss and happiness of my husband and I.

Mike and his associate, Dave, were an amazing dynamic team of photographers! I knew Mike for a whole decade ago and he has been a trusted friend and colleague ever since. I always knew that he was a talented photographer for a long time, but finally got a chance to hire him as my personal wedding/engagement photographer for my October wedding a few months ago.
Mike is a very talented professional with his strong work ethic, passion, and an amazing eye for capturing images. He went above and beyond in planning and working with me in finding just the right location for our engagement photos, the spots for images and lighting, and capturing the overall atmosphere and feeling that I had wanted. He was also ever so patient with me and husband in making us feel comfortable in front of the camera and giving us ideas/directions when needed. Not only is Mike personable, his passion for photography speaks for itself through his photos, what one can only describe as masterworks of art. He somehow manages combine beautiful scenery and lighting together with the images of his clients to capture the right kind of feeling in every moment.
At our wedding, both Mike and Dave collaborated and worked well together with our own hired videography team, especially under a tight schedule and an unforgiving sun. His associate, Dave, was also really easygoing, and he was very flexible with us getting into all these fancy and crazy poses, which made being in front of the camera a lot of fun. He took a lot of our photos during the ceremony and reception, and I'm still surprised until this day how many amazing photos were captured of my friends and family members while playing my silly wedding games.
To top it all off, Mike was able to edit and deliver all of my photos from each set within just a few days and his response time is impeccable whenever I had any questions. All the photos came out perfectly, and I could not wait to share them all of my friends and family. Each photo was unique and beautiful in their own way, and absolutely Instagrammable! Hiring Mike as my photographer was the best decision that I have ever made, I love all of my photos and am sure to enjoy them for years to come! -

They were very communicative at all times. They listened to what I wanted and my concerns. They also gave great advice and tips. I mean, wow!!!! This was the one section of my wedding I did not stress out about. They already knew when I told them what I wanted in general and they went into detail with all other sections. And without sounding stressed.
I highly recommend them. Out all the vendors I chose, they are my top 2 -

Mike was one of our favorite vendors to work with. Not only does his kind soul exude through the day of and our interactions with him, but it is also displayed in his work. His passion for photography and his heart to make sure his clients get the best photos and memories of their wedding is above and beyond. It was a pleasure being able to work with Mike from the engagement shoot until the last moment of our wedding.
He is quick to respond and will make sure your day is exactly the way you envision. His work is crisp and has a beautiful vintage style, which is exactly what my husband and I were craving.

Incredible quality for a great value!
Mike did an AMAZING job! After spending weeks researching engagement photography options, Mike's pricing was what initially caught my eye and was the best value. But after receiving the edited photos, the quality was beyond our expectations! We asked to take our photos at Joshua Tree and requested to have my brothers' restored 1968 ford mustang as part of the shoot. He met us all the way out there and was able to incorporate the car into our engagement photos. He knew all the great location spots to ensure our photos would turn out great!
He is very easy to work with and although we were awkward at first, he put us at ease with his personality and direction. Communication was a breeze...Mike was always available via email and text to answer any and all questions.
We just shared the photos with our families on Christmas eve and they were BLOWN away at how amazing the photos looked! We have already booked Mike for a future event, our tea ceremony, because we know he will be able to capture all the best moments with our families. -

We had an out of town wedding (at golden gate park in SF), and he volunteered to come out early to scope out the location, so we could get the best shots. We had a family gathering 2 weeks after the wedding, and Mike was able to provide a dozen teaser pictures that we could share with our extended family! We received the rest shortly after. And best of all, the pictures came out great! Thank you Mike for capturing our special day - we couldn't be happier with our pictures!

We initially chose Mike as our wedding photographer because of his editing style, which was very important to me, and his ability to capture candid moments naturally. We recently received our wedding photos, and words can't describe how happy we are with them! The shots, lighting, and editing are absolutely beautiful and captured the magic of our day. Our guests have also raved about how stunning the photos are, and how perfectly Mike captured our vibes. Many shared our sentiment of how great of a photographer he is.
We also did our engagement session with Mike, and, as a couple who's a bit shy about posing, we let him know upfront that we might need some guidance. Mike was amazing at helping us relax and feel natural, which transitioned beautifully on the wedding day. His calm and friendly presence made it easy to just enjoy the moment and let him work his magic.
On the wedding day, Mike was both professional and flexible. We had a list of must-have shots, which included a 21-person wedding party and family, and he worked efficiently to get each one while still capturing plenty of organic, candid moments. He was very realistic about timing, giving us guidance on what was achievable without ever making us feel rushed.
