We met Mike at a Wedding Expo and after discussing more, couldn’t wait to work with them! They were energetic, professional, and fun! They provided DJ and uplighting, photo booth, and audio guestbook all within our budget! Leading up to the wedding, they were flexible and responsive to our requests and reception hopes and dreams! Incredible Professional
I would recommend Mike Walton Entertainment to anyone looking for the utmost, consummate professional for your wedding vendor. Mike was absolutely amazing throughout the entire planning process. From his music request list to his organized planning document, he made sure every detail of our special day was covered. He was a wonderful DJ who really knows the business inside and out. His photobooth services are so professional as well, and all our guests had so much fun. On the day of our wedding, our itinerary got pushed back a bit as there was a car accident right in front of our venue (not one of our guests, thank goodness), and Mike handled everything SO well. He really helped my husband and I to not feel stressed, and he still managed to cover everything we requested. Mike also worked with my dad on a special request, and my dad was so appreciative. The only thing I wish were different was that we got to have Mike DJ for longer, so we could dance way into the early morning hours! We had a BLAST, and Mike really knows how to get the crowd moving and having fun! If you're considering hiring Mike, you need to book him NOW!

Amazing Talent - Fantastic Night - Great Value
My husband and I went to Mike Walton Productions/Pulsations DJ’s when our first daughter got married and it was THE BEST decision we ever made! We were so amazed how they immediately took our stress away by breaking everything down into easy steps for our daughter and our son in law to follow. All while making the whole experience so much fun for them. They are so professional and responsive. I was so impressed how quickly they reached out to set up time with us to go over their process. My kids loved that they have a completely automated process that is so easy to use that plans out your event. We quickly learned that they not only help with all the music BUT they keep the entire night on track! They know when each dance needs to happen, the toast, the cake. I can go on and one. They also spent so much time getting to know the bride and groom so they could understand exactly what they needed to make their day SO very special! I could cry again in joy, just typing this. They were so fantastic, that they were the first ones my second daughter wanted to call when she got engaged. Best DJ Ever
There are a lot of daunting tasks for a wedding, but picking Mike Walton as your DJ will be the easiest choice you make! He is so nice, down to earth, and listens to you while giving his recommendations to make your night special. He comes equipped with a LEGIT Photo Booth and props as well! I wanted a custom sign for the photo booth strip and name monogram and he had samples sent to me prior to make sure everything was the way I wanted. If you choose him the dancing in a cloud is a MUST. Your pictures will come out next level.
A really special moment from my wedding that he suggested doing was an anniversary dance. All the couples that have been married dance along with the bride and groom and whoever is married the longest gets to give the newlyweds advice. It was so special to me because at one point Mike said, “WOW. There is over 100 years of love on this dance floor right now” and it was just such a precious moment. He honestly made my wedding a night to remember.
I also called another DJ in the area, but went with Mike because it just felt right. He doesn’t force anything on you but gives you all the possible options to make your night incredible. Seriously I cannot recommend Mike enough for your special day!!

Amazing DJ Service
Mike just did our wedding this past weekend and we can’t get over how much fun all of our guests had! Mike had a great variety of music that pleased all of our guests. We had so many of our guests come up saying Mike was the best wedding dj they’ve ever experienced. Mike also did our photo booth and we can’t get over how much fun it was! There were so many different props to use and everyone had a blast! Mike was so easy to work with, we highly recommend him!

My husband and I recently got married and Mike Walton (Productions) was our DJ. Working with him from start to finish was a great experience. Leading up to the event, he made the song selection process easy and caught a few things that the venue did not in terms of the reception (i.e. optimal table layout, microphone placement, uplighting). He provided music and emcee services for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and it could not have gone smoother. Thanks to his professional eye, he facilitated everything without a hitch. We had a blast on the dance floor and many commented that it was the best music/DJ they have seen at a wedding. We would highly recommend Mike Walton!

Absolutely speechless. Made my wedding
Mike was our DJ for our wedding 09/04/21. If you asked anyone at that wedding (there were 220 people), they would’ve told you the DJ was absolutely AMAZING. I have never seen a DJ so involved and so into making your day the absolute best day ever. The amount of fun EVERYONE had on the dance floor was amazing. He truly has an eye for detail when it comes to not only choosing the right tunes to get everyone on the dance floor, but also for the important details like lighting and microphone placement for ceremony. I truly did not have to stress once over any of the technical things. I was able to enjoy my day as the bride and have the ABSOLUTE BEST DANCE PARTY RECEPTION EVER!!!! I first met Mike at a bridal show. I instantly liked his cube and personality! Our wedding had to be postponed due to COVID and Mike was reasonable and understanding. Rescheduling with him was a breeze. Our wedding day was amazing, from the ceremony to the reception ! He listened to all our requests and didn’t play one bad song all night ! Him and the photo booth attendant were personable and professional. We loved our custom photo booth pictures, lighting to match our decor and the dancing in a cloud that he offers was amazing!! We had the honor of Mike Walton providing the DJ entertainment for our wedding. From the first contact my wife and I made with him, he was kind, courteous, attentive, and professional. We had regular meetings before the wedding to ensure all our musical tastes were accounted for. All through the process, we felt well taken care of. I highly recommend Mike Walton for all of your DJ and photo booth needs. When rescheduling our wedding due to COVID, we needed to find a new DJ and Mike was highly recommended. Now I can see why! He was so sweet to work with while I was in panic mode and helped me work through picking all the songs. He fit in all our songs and had everyone on the dance floor. The photo booth was so much fun! Where to start…dance lessons, DJ, photo booth services, MC/toastmaster…. Mike Walton Entertainment is truly a one stop shop for everything awesome for your wedding. We knew his DJ skills were excellent and glad he was able to DJ our wedding. In addition to his DJ services, we hired him for dance lessons. We wanted a choreographed first dance. Mike is a great dancer and teacher. Our first dance turned out to be spectacular! We were not sure about the photo booth but we are happy that we decided to go with it. The pictures are so much fun and we enjoyed creating the photo background. Mike is great to work with and super professional. We created a great relationship through the planning process and asked him to give our toast, which was beautiful. We had Dakota as the DJ for our wedding and couldn't have been happier. Great personality, professionalism and an obvious passion for what he does. My wife and I are both musical and were very particular about the vibe we wanted, and Dakota knocked it out of the park. The songs we really wanted to be played were incorporated, and other we hadn't thought of were mixed in to fit the vibe all night. The understated Amber uplighting we asked for was perfect. Mike Walton Productions was incredible to have at our wedding! They played everything we requested and was so accommodating with all our crazy requests! Mike was so great to work with. We had a blast from the minute we met him at our venue's open house. He has such a great personality and worked with us to go through all of the details and everything we wanted! He even suffered through announcing some pretty tough names and did a great job! The music played at the reception could not have been better. Our guests cannot stop talking about it. I would recommend Mike to absolutely anyone for any occasion!!!!

Mike is an absolutely true professional and did a fantastic job as DJ for our wedding. The uplighting he provided was outstanding, the photo booth picture quality was the best I'd ever seen, and the dance floor was packed the entire night. Mike takes DJ-ing to a new level - when I tell you that I am NOT a dancer, I mean my feet are glued to the floor, but Mike even had me out there dancing away. There was not a single minute of boring songs or uninterested guests. I've had dozens of people tell me that our DJ was the best wedding DJ that they'd every experienced. My 87 year old great aunt who uses a walker was out on the dance floor... do you need any more proof? Mike is an absolute professional, his equipment is top notch, he speaks loudly and clearly when he announces your names and has solid advice if you should need it. Look no further!

We hired Mike's photobooth company ! It was a huge hit at our wedding and the gentleman who was the attendee was very friendly and made the booth a blast! I loved how he saved us extra copies of everyone's photos. My husband and I had a blast going through everyone's photos this past week. I highly recommend him to everyone!

We are so happy we chose Mike for as our DJ!!!! He was in charge of our music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and our reception. We also went with a photo booth (which everyone should definitely do!). Mike was totally on top of it from the start of the ceremony to the last song at the reception. He is super organized, so planning with him is incredibly easy. He also really listens to what you want, and he made a lot of great suggestions for versions of our processional and recessional songs. For the reception, he knows how to get a party started! Our guests were on the dance floor literally the entire time. We even had multiple guests tell us we had the best playlist of any wedding they have been to. Mike also has the most extensive collection of photo booth props I have ever seen. Our guests absolutely loved it, they had such a blast picking through all his hats and masks. We are so glad we sprung for the booth and decided to pick Mike for our big day!

Mike and his staff completely blew us away! He made our wedding the party we dreamed it would be! Every single guest, from 2 years old to 72 years old was on the dance floor all night. I highly recommend getting a photo booth, it was a huge hit, with an attendant there to help make sure everyone had an amazing experience! With just a short questionnaire and meeting together, Mike was able to capture the vibe we were going for. He played an amazingly creative mix of new and old and he made sure our night flowed easily. The uplighting was gorgeous and totally transformed the room. We even had a confetti cannon during our first dance that gave our guests the best surprise factor we wanted! we highly recommend Mike for any occasion!

I was debating between two DJs in the NEPA area and ultimately decided to go with Mike Walton because of the high quality of photos from his photo booths and knowing Mike Walton DJ's are used frequently at the University of Scranton, where my husband and I met. I also wanted an open air photo booth, which Mike Walton was one of the few in the area to have one in that style at the time I booked.
Mike was not our DJ, but he was more than helpful when we met and gave me great song choices for things such as the cake cutting, last song of the night, bouquet toss, etc. He also worked with me to use the same background and font for the photo booth strips that I used on my wedding invitations.
Mark was our DJ. He did a great job and was able to accommodate any request that I had that evening. He was animated and kept people on the dance floor all night.
Bobby was the photo booth attendant, and he was SPECTACULAR. Usually when I go to weddings, I work the photo booth myself or the individual running it appears they do not want to be there. Bobby kept people entertained all night, and it was the most crowded photo booth I have seen at any wedding. My guests loved it.
Mike Walton will then post the album of all the pictures taken to Facebook, so individuals can get the photos and print them in non photo booth strips if they would like to have a larger copy. The photo quality from this photo booth is AMAZING.
If you are debating on a NEPA DJ, I highly recommend Mike Walton. And, if you decide to go with Mike Walton, be sure to add the photo booth to your package as well.

Look no further because Mike Walton Productions is the best! We hired Mike for our wedding and we were extremely satisfied with his services. From the photo booth to the up lighting to the phenomenal music he will play, you wont be disappointed, you'll be amazed. We even had a name logo on the dance floor. He took the time to meet with us beforehand and go over every detail, even things that I hadn't thought about and I think about everything! Mike Walton is definitely your go to DJ, my husband and I have a tendency to be procrastinators when it came to planning things, Mike was so patient with us from start to finish. He would answer any questions we had promptly but never make us feel rushed to make decisions. He helped us out a lot as well when it came to picking important songs such as the garter and bouquet toss. He played great music all night and worked extremely well with our photographer to make sure they were on the same time frame so we didn't miss having photos of any important events that night big or small. He also had some great ideas and made sure the night was tailored to fit our needs but guaranteed to keep guests happy. His photo booth was also perfect, it took great photos and had a variety of props, it was a huge hit all night with our guests.

Mike Walton is hands down the best. He did my sisters wedding out in PA and even though we were getting married in NY we just had to have him. We were so relieved when he said he would travel to come be part of our wedding. As soon as the introductions were made the dance floor was full and stayed that way for the entire night. I can't tell you the number of guests who complimented him. Everything from the planning aspect through the night was perfect. If you're looking for a non-stop party, Mike is your guy! Dakota made sure everything went smoothly and was incredibly flexible throughout the evening. So, this review is long overdue at this point, but here it is all the same. My wife and I selected Mike for our wedding on Sept. 25, 2015 and we could not have been happier with the decision. Mike was both professional and laid back at the same time and was very easy to work with in all aspects. His rates were lower than some other DJs that we looked at, but there was absolutely nothing lost in terms of quality. We went with his basic package + uplighting, but it didn't feel like there was anything basic about it. Mike put on a great show in terms of the musical selection as well as his interactions with our guests and the uplighting completely transformed the venue. This isn't just feedback of our own; we're echoing comments that our guests made as well. On top of all that, Mike managed to teach us to almost respectably dance just three days before the wedding, so if he was able to pull that off with us, he can do it for anyone. So, in summary, we can't recommend Mike enough. He's a great DJ, performer and dance instructor all rolled up into one. He's very easy to work with and was never not available for us prior to and on the big day. Thanks so much, Mike.

Mike personally djd our reception, and it was a blast! He invited us into his home to go over what we wanted, music wise, and was very helpful and knowledgeable about it, made great suggestions too. He gave us the option of which songs we did not want played there, and he stuck to the song list we picked. All of our guests commented on how much fun they had, the music flowed well, no breaks or hitches. I recommend him to everyone and anyone in need of an awesome dj!!

DJ Mike Walton was one of the best decisions we made! He offered really practical advice in terms of choosing music, he was so responsive to our requests and concerns, and he spaced out the songs so amazingly well that we literally had a full dance floor for three hours straight! Can't imagine the party without him.
He also built up so much excitement with announcing the bridal party, etc. and had all our musical selections timed perfectly.
He's also a fun, nice guy who was easy to talk to. We couldn't have chosen any better.

When we set out to find a DJ, we were looking for someone who would get people dancing but would also play some "different" music. Mike was the first and only DJ we spoke to. We knew right away that he would provide a fun atmosphere for our small reception of about 40 people.
Mike provided a sound system for the ceremony and another one for the reception. This allowed the music to flow easily - there was no pause while he set up. Mike let us pick which songs we absolutely needed to have played, ones we wanted to play if possible, and he ones we did not want played. I didn't want any of the popular choreographed dances - the Cupid Shuffle, Electric Slide, etc. (Later in the evening people requested some of those songs but I was too high on life to say no).
Even without those dances, people were on the dance floor having a good time. My 90 year old great uncle danced to Lady Gaga and could be heard singing "Bad Romance". He was having the time of his life and I don't think he left the floor once.
I was worried that Mike wouldn't be able to accomadate my odd request for dinner music. I wanted instrumental songs from movie scores. Mike loved the idea and went above and beyond, finding all the songs I asked for, no matter how obscure they were. He got major bonus points for being a fan of Big Fish, which our wedding was partially themed after.
I highly recommend Mike to anyone getting married in NEPA!

I can’t recommend DJ Mike more highly. We were having a small (100 people) reception, and found Mike through an old high school acquaintance on facebook. We weren’t able to meet with him because of our travel schedule, but he worked with us through email and over the phone. On top of this, we left a lot of the music choice up to him – as we only had 15 or so songs we definitely wanted played. We relied on him and he did not disappoint!
Throughout all planning, he was supportive, patient and easy going. On the day of the ceremony he came early to set up, came out to meet us after the ceremony, and truly entertained our guests. His outgoing and funny personality really fit in with our guests – who were shy to get out on the dance floor. He was flexible and worked with the caterer to make sure everything was timed perfectly and everyone was having fun. He was truly the master of ceremonies. And, he’s a great value! We looked into many DJ’s when we were first looking, and we are so happy we worked with him. He really made our reception a great time!!

The order of the reception and how the whole evening was organized was awesome! We were able to do all the traditional things, cake, tosses, speeches, dances... and still had time to party! It seems like he played all the songs we requested, so it was absolutely perfect. He coordinated well with the all the other vendors that you would think they all worked together all the time!

Mike was so wonderful to work with to choose our music. We asked for very unusual music but he made sure that everything we wanted to hear, we heard! We met several times during the process in his own home. He treated us like we were his family and he wanted to make sure everything was perfect. He steered us in all the right directions from scheduling to the look of the reception. He also provided the uplighting for our reception. The uplighting he did made the venue look so perfect! All I asked my husband for was uplighting and he and Mike made that request happen. The dj that he had attend our reception was very nice and everything flowing well.

Mike did a great job as our DJ! We were unsure of what song we wanted to be introduced to, but he made a great selection that fit us perfectly! He also provided uplighting, which set the mood at the reception venue and looked stunning in the photos!

Mike was great with us....gave us a few dance lessons - when we decidedwe didn't want to do a choreographed dance, he was happy to work with us to let us do "our own thing"...he's friendly, organized (I love his database of music - allowing me to plan for all the songs I really wanted to hear) - and a good value. Very professional and also could be a valuable help in getting other vendors - knows a lot of photographers, florists, etc...We love him.

I used them for the music for my outdoor ceremony and reception. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. My DJ was professional but fun. He was completely responsive to my wants and needs and even helped to set up my niece's keyboard to their equipment so she could play a song as part of my ceremony. The appropriate music was played throughout the night and the dance floor was never empty. He also helped ensure that all the events of the evening occurred as they should. Thank you.

Absolutely fabulous! Mike was great! Although he could not personally dj our day, he picked a great dj from his company as an alternative. You can pick must play, maybe play, and do not play lists- which is great feature to customize the music for your day. Mike made up a cd to be played during cocktail hour- and also personalize our dinner music. The dance music was great and every song on our must play list was played! He has huge library, so guest could request anything they wanted.
Another great bonus is that Mike and his wife offer dance lessons. We had a great time learning our own choreographed dance for our first dance as husband and wife. I highly recommend Mike Walton Productions!

Mike Walton was great! We provided him with more than enough music recommendations and he did a great job picking the best of all of them. We were on the dance floor ALL NIGHT! Everyone had a blast! He got everyone involved and by the end of the night half of the crowd had hats, leis and maraccas! Makes for some great pics! It was awesome!

Mike is great. He has A LOT of DIFFERENT types of music available and is flexible by letting you provide him with music he may not have. He is very quick to respond--which is huge for a nervous bride. Mike is very professional as well.

I employed Mike Walton’s services for my August 2015 wedding and I’m so happy I did! He has many years of experience DJing and knows absolutely everything about wedding traditions (new and old), music, and dancing. He was always professional and courteous, getting on board for the feel of my wedding quickly and enthusiastically. I knew exactly what I wanted, but for a few songs, I was confused or unsure what would sound best with my other songs and Mike was able to suggest the perfect songs. He was also able to mix a great mash-up song for my father-daughter dance within two weeks’ notice! Unfortunately, Mike could not DJ the event and instead his associate (Paul) did. However, Paul was also great! He played everything Mike and I had organized, worked closely with my photographer and venue coordinator to communicate information (which kept things very low stress for me), and had no issue moving one dance earlier in the evening. I cannot stress enough how genuinely Mike takes interest in your wedding theme and works to create a great playlist for you! You will not be disappointed!

Mike was wonderful to work with! He basically was willing to do whatever my fiance and I wanted but also had some really helpful suggestions of his own on what types of music to play and how to best get people out on the dance floor based on his experience. He kept the party going all night and we got lots of compliments on how good the music was as well as how much fun everyone had!! Great job!!

We had never expected their music was so great till the day of our wedding party. Everyone had a great time dancing and laughing throughout the session. They alternatively changed fast and soft music to adjust the atmosphere to everybody's satisfaction. Thanks to their sincere dedication, our wedding party turned out to be such a huge success.

We are so glad we went with Mike Walton for our big day!!! We got a wedding package with the DJ (for ceremony and reception), uplighting and Photo Booth and it was worth every penny! Mike put us at ease and worked closely with us to fine tune all the details. He was very honest from start to finish and made excellent suggestions. Overall, my wife and I were very pleased with the job that Mike Walton Productions did serving as the DJ for our wedding. In my opinion this was reasonably priced. We hired them from 5:30 (our ceremony start time) until the conclusion of our reception for a great deal. We got to list all the songs we wanted and plan out all the important music. I had a good hour long conversation with Mike via phone since I am not from the area and we went through every detail which was helpful. Music was so incredibly important to me as I wanted my guests to enjoy every minute and I never wanted a dull moment or a bad song.
Paul was our DJ and he was so great. He was so personable, friendly and you could tell he cared about all the guests and how much fun they were having. He played all the songs I had asked for and ones that went over so well with guests that I would have never thought of. I think I literally danced ALL NIGHT, as did many guests! I am so pleased with his services and I accredit the overall success of the night to his DJ skills.

We loved Mike! He listened to exactly what we wanted, and made sure ALL generations were able to enjoy our wedding. Our dance floor was FULL the entire night. They had to move chairs so that they could make the dance floor even bigger because people were on their feet. We had a wonderful experience and definitely recommend mike Walton productions!

My husband and I met in a karaoke bar, so we had our hearts set on karaoke at our wedding. The search for a DJ who had a karaoke library and know-how and was also willing to perform it at a wedding was tough, but it led us to Mike. Mike worked as Master of Ceremonies making announcements and introductions, as well as DJ during dinner and cake cutting. We had a little bit of regular dance music after dinner. Then we opened up the karaoke floor. He has a full library of both music and karaoke songs, and he provided 2 TV screens for both the singers and audience members to see the words. He also brought 2 mics and 2 prop guitars. Overall, everyone had a really fun time and we had lots of compliments from guests saying they really loved our DJ.

Mike was really easy to work with and kept people on the dance floor for the entire evening! I gave ideas of the types of music I was interested in for the cocktail hour, reception, etc., and he made everything flow really well. Just be aware that even though you are signing up and paying for Mike Walton's services and experience, you're most likely not going to have him actually perform at your wedding. I was told the Monday before my wedding that one of his co-workers was going to be doing our wedding. It's not a big deal but more notice would have been nice. Then the day of, two people showed up and I didn't have a place or meal prepared for that person. They were fed but I didn't appreciate not being told that detail. They only played 12 out of the 50 songs he asks you to select as "Must Play" and "Please Play if Possible". They also didn't play the song that was requested to be my last song of the night. I grossly over paid for my ceremony music that consisted of less than 10 minutes of work. The playlist in general was fun but for the amount I paid I was not very happy.

Mike Walton promised he would be the DJ at our wedding. He is the one we wanted, he is the one we paid for. About 1 month from the wedding he told us his partner had to do our wedding because his vacation plans changed... We meet the new DJ and though he was ok but we were still nervous. He was kind and willing to work with what we wanted. We went over the song plans several times with the DJ because and during our reception. Right before he was to announce the wedding party, the computer crashed and he had to run to get another laptop quick. He then got his systems back up and running. Started paying the song for the parents. We specifically told him after our parents to pay a song that meant a lot to my wife and I. We verified the proper song with him minuets before being announced. But the parents song continued to play until the maid of honor told the DJ "Wrong Song!" Then it started over. This may seem minor to some but to use we figured if Mike was there we would of had no issues. As for Mike, he is nice and professional, just hope his vacation plans don't get in the way of your wedding. You might have issues.
