I got married this past August, and I just had to get on here to let future brides know that I am OBSESSED with watching my wedding video. I almost didn’t get one — I added videography at the very last minute — but Mike Staff Productions made it so easy, and now we seriously cannot stop watching it.
Our wedding video is absolutely amazing. I love how easy it is to share on social media, but even more than that, I love how it lets us hear our families’ voices and relive our vows. Seeing Grandma Jan getting down on the dance floor — especially now that she’s sick — means everything to us. These memories are priceless.
The whole experience with Mike Staff Productions has been incredible. Communication was great, the process was smooth, and the final films are something we’ll cherish forever. And DJ Brad? He absolutely rocked our reception.

We can't rave enough about Randy @ Mike Staff Productions! From our initial meeting, to continued communication throughout our planning of our event, Randy was extremely available, and he just "got us"! Our event was a little different than the traditional wedding reception, but Randy was there to accomodate, suggest, and truly be the Master of Ceremonies that we needed! We went with Mike Staff Productions for our DJ, photography, and videography for our wedding. We could not be happier with the service we got.
Bethany and Daniel both made my husband James and I so comfortable we forgot they were there! They capture some of our absolute favorite moments from our special day, both our videos and photos are the best time capsule we could ask for. They captured my 91 year old grandma having the time of her life and James's Aunts who came in from out of country! They were professional, on time, and we trusted their expertise, which made our day go so smoothly!
James K, our DJ was insanely talented, he was so kind and really listened to James and I! He found every unique version of songs we wanted played. Everything from the Core Memory song from the movie Inside Out, to our first dance song, an acoustic cover of Simply the Best by Tina Turner! He kept the party going and our dance floor was so much fun! We heard over and over, "Best wedding EVER!"
I feel like everyone probably hears that but with our day it was true and that was in big thanks to Bethany, Daniel, and James! -

We could not have been happier with the quality of our experience having a Mike Staff DJ for our October wedding. Mike Staff Productions was very smooth to work with, and their professionalism was so welcome among the other planning we did (without a dedicated planner). Their online form for adding all of your details and requests is very thorough and helpful, so we felt they had everything from us.
DJ Evan was easy to communicate with in preparation, took great consideration of all of our requests, and was fantastic on the day! I will say that we felt we were pretty low-maintenance in terms of having "control" over the music, but throughout our reception we did talk with DJ Evan at various points and he took care of every detail in stride. Basically, he's a pro and we trusted him to do the job, and were not disappointed!!Mike Staff Productions's reply:

We booked the team approach from Mike Staff Productions for our wedding day, and we couldn't be happier with our entire experience. Having our photographer, videographer, and DJ all know each other and having worked together at previous weddings really made a difference. Their compatibility showed throughout the entire event. Each of them was on time, highly professional, and made sure that all of our family members and guests were comfortable with whatever was going on at the moment.
Our photographer, Vesna, who immediately jumped into action the moment she arrived. She created a fun, relaxing environment and made us feel like we weren't in a photo shoot. Vesna had an eye for what I thought was not a very photogenic venue, but she made our pictures beautiful. The way she spoke to all of our family members during formal pictures made everyone feel relaxed, but also aware that we needed to get things done. She was constantly making sure my husband and I were on the same page and knew what was going on. We couldn't be happier with her work.
Secondly, our DJ was the highlight of the entire wedding. All of our guests are still raving about how much fun they had during the reception. Once everyone got on the dance floor after our dance, no one left until the entire wedding was over. He made sure to cater to a very diverse crowd of guests and played everything we asked him to. He made us feel like we were the stars of the show. We highly recommend Ron if you’ve got a guest list that loves to dance!
Lastly, our videographer, David, was just wonderful to work with. He tagged along with Vesna and really captured a lot of beautiful moments on our wedding day. We couldn't be happier with the video and how it all turned out. He made sure he was never in the way but still captured every moment. His laid back demeanor and friendly attitude really helped put us at ease in some stressful moments.

My husband and I used Mike Staff Productions for our Photography and DJ. To start out, you know when planning a wedding, communication is essential. Mike Staff had it right from the get go. Emails about reminders, FAQ, any help needed, etc. Our photographer was Mary. I cannot say enough about her. When we did our video call to go over expectations/time line, I knew we picked the right person. She was laid vack and made you feel at ease the day of. We had children (including our own) stand up in the wedding and she did amazing with them. She was so patient and knew what to do. All of our guests and family had complimented on her and how great she was. I forgot to bring my picture list to hand to her. Without skipping a beat, she took the initiative and directed everything. Efficiency at its finest. The photos were incredibly beautiful! Our DJ Sean was so much fun and had the party going at the end of the night.Mike Staff Productions's reply:

We hired Mike Staff Productions to DJ our wedding this past April (2023). DJ James was absolutely AMAZING! He was so responsive & really took the time to ask us what we wanted for our reception. He made sure he was continuously checking on us throughout the night, and our guests raved about the music - they have never been to a wedding where the DJ played songs that made EVERYONE want to dance! We were recommended to use Mike Staff by my sister after they did a great job at her wedding. You are able to hire services for photography, videography, and a DJ. This makes it so easy to package these services up so you don’t have to have more vendors to be responsible for. We ended up hiring a videographer named Jake and a DJ named DJ Kevin J.
Video: I wasn’t so sure about hiring a videographer at all, thinking I wouldn’t actually watch the footage back but I was wrong. I LOVE being able to relive this day over and over again. Jake did such a great job of making us feel comfortable and not like there was a giant camera in our faces the whole day. He was very friendly and relatable. Jake went over things we wanted video of and made sure to record those things and more! We were sent a short video (about 10 minutes) of our wedding and a long version of the wedding video (about an hour and a half), both were great!
DJ: DJ Kevin J was also great! We had a call with him a week before the wedding going over the music selection for the dances, cocktail hour, and reception. My husband and I’s music taste is pretty all over the place but DJ Kevin J was about the play music all across the board. One thing we really wanted at our wedding was music that made everyone want to dance all night long and DJ Kevin J definitely achieved that goal for us! He was able to keep our friends in their 20s-30s and our family in their 50s, 60s, and 70s on the dance floor!
Overall, Mike Staff is an awesome company to hire for your wedding. You are able to “shop around” within the company and pick the person that best fits what you need. Jake and DJ Kevin J were our top picks for our wedding because their interests and style blended best with us. I have already recommended Mike Staff to many of my friends who are getting married in the next few years and I will continue to recommend them!

DJ Matt was great!
We used Mike Staff for our DJ services, and DJ Matt Fillion did a great job. The music selections during the reception were great, and a highlight of the ceremony was Matt's piano playing. Our guests loved the live music, and he was able to incorporate our niche piano song requests. Can’t imagine the day without them!
‘We were blown away by the team at Mike Staff. From our photographers Mary J and Dennis, to our videographer Sylvester, and our DJ Josh B. They were each remarkable in their own special ways! Mary started the day with the girls and put us right at ease. Dennis started with the boys and made them all look sharp by tending to pocket squares and little details. They both had such confidence and command of the proceedings that not once did we worry about asking for certain pictures. We trusted them to get the shots that mattered most - and they did! As Dennis focused on crowd pictures, he blended in so well he was like another guest - one our friends loved and commented on numerous times! Mary knew how much sunset pictures meant to us and kept an eye on the sky after it rained and ensured we got the magical pictures we dreamt of... Sylvester took some of the most amazing video shots that make us smile from ear to ear as we re-watch our videos. And finally... last but not least... Josh kept that party rocking - so much so that he was constantly moving his station further back from the moving dance floor to make room for the party! Not once did we worry about the schedule of the reception or a bare dance floor, because we knew it was in very capable hands with Josh leading the night! We cannot say enough about our amazing team other than we would love to do it all over again!!! We hired Mike Staff Productions for both photography and DJ services. Both services were absolutely amazing! When looking for a photographer and DJ on google, Mike Staff was the first one to pop up in our area. We had a great experience with them from the initial contact (prior to booking) to the very end. We decided to have two photographers and add on an additional hour for both since our ceremony was so early -- I highly recommend having two photographers and adding an additional hour if needed! Our main photographer was Pam and the second was Joel-- they were both amazing! Pam was there for us every step of the way pre-wedding and wedding day. She was very easy to communicate with, very talented and it was very apparent that she absolutely loves her job which is so important in this line of work! :) The turn around for receiving a sneak peak and then all of the photos was great. Our DJ was amazing as well! We had DJ Dave and he was very easy to communicate with, listened to our requests + our guests requests, kept the timeline going smoothly and was overall very talented at his job! The dance floor remained packed until the end! We could not be happier with all of our photos and both the DJ and photography service we received. Mike Staff Productions absolutely made our night one to remember forever! Every step of the way, Mike Staff Productions' Team was more than helpful. They provided numerous resources as well as detailed one-on-one discussions prior to the event. We had the pleasure of having Jim with us and we cannot say enough about how wonderful he was! Matt, our DJ from Mike Staff Productions was PHENOMENAL. I had other couples talk about wanting him to DJ their weddings after ours. He was great about talking with us ahead of time to really get to know us and understand what we wanted - he took an entire hour on the phone to really make sure we walked through everything. He did our entire event - pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception. Also, Mike Staff as a whole make it super super easy to do this. They have pre-made playlists to help give you ideas or starting points for every single part of your wedding (they even have playlists by theme) - ceremony, aisle walkup, reception, welcome song, etc...there is a whole playlist for it. These folks do a genuinely amazing job. They also give you a really easy (yet detailed) form to fill out for everything, so you can be very specific about what you want to happen at each part of your wedding. We went with Mike Staff because they actually have a pretty rigorous hiring process for their DJs to ensure they can read a room and be the vibe soothsayers that they are. We were so impressed with Matt as our DJ and can't thank him enough for the wonderful night that he helped provide.Mike Staff Productions's reply:

Went with Mike Staff because they offer everything you need in one package. We went with 2 photographers, videographer, and DJ. Process was super simple and made planning the wedding easy. Chose photographer (earlier you book more options you have) same as DJ. They were in contact before wedding to help make sure everything ran smoothly. My wedding had last minute changes which all of the staff accommodated well in a professional manner.
Photographer: We had Mary. She was amazing as well as her assistant Prianka. They covered everything we wanted and more. In total we received over 1200 images which we still need to narrow down to our favorites. They were more than a photographer. They helped be a part of our wedding by keeping things on time, they got the shots we asked for, they even started a dance when no one knew how to do one of the dances played and got everyone in the groove. Videographer: We had Brendan. He was amazing, he was there but not there which is what you want in a videographer. What I mean is he was not talking and being a distraction and drawing attention to himself so he can get the genuine shots without people looking at the camera. He got all the shots needed to remember the day. My wife cried when she saw the highlight reel and the full wedding video. With that reaction I am super glad we went with Mike Staff.
DJ. We had Kyle. He was amazing. He played the songs we needed, was perfect at introducing everyone and making announcements. Helped make sure everything went smoothly and on time as well. Overall, just a great experience, I have no complaints about our DJ.
Overall having the 3 major vendors coordinated as smooth under one service was a huge bonus. Took so much pressure off of us knowing it will work smoothly. Hiring three different ones and having them coordinate the day of and not worked together would have worked, but just adds more stress. Knowing they all have their system and are familiar with how it all goes was super helpful. There was never a time where my wife or I were stressed about any of our vendors which let us relax and enjoy our big day.Mike Staff Productions's reply:

Where do I even start?! Mike Staff Productions was amazing! They made it so easy to get all our most important services. We chose Holly for our photographer, and we were blown away! We are both more introverted, but she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She kept us ahead of schedule all day long, which was my biggest concern. She really understood our style and priorities for the day. After dinner, we decided we wanted to take even more photos and Holly had so many great ideas, and we have such a variety in our gallery. Our videographer, Dylan, was great! He really took the time to get to know what moments were important to us, and captured those moments. Looking back, I am SO grateful we chose to get a wedding video. So many people tell you how fast the day goes by and how much you’ll miss, but now that I’ve lived it, I couldn’t agree more! Getting a video allows us to relive those special moments again and again! DJ Kevin was AMAZING! We had our DJ for both the ceremony and reception. He made our ceremony moments absolutely perfect. During the grand entrance, he helped to get the bridal party organized and ready for their moment. DJ Kevin knew exactly what to play to keep guests dancing all night long. He incorporated our must-plays, and guests requests all night. He helped the evening flow perfectly! Overall, the Mike Staff Productions experience was amazing from beginning to end. Fairy Tale Wedding Come True
If you are planning a wedding Mike Staff Productions is the only option! It was the BEST decision we made! (This is a long review but stick with me). They made the process of planning a wedding stress free and fun (even when having to postpone due to COVID - they made the process so easy and help take away so much stress during that time)! Our photographer was Amy C! She was AMAZING her talent, attention to detail, and lively personality made our wedding day so much fun! It has been two weeks and I honestly can say I have not stopped smiling! When planning she helped us with our timeline of taking photos and made suggestions from her experience. I am so glad we listened to her because it gave us more time to take photos before the ceremony. She made sure we stayed on time (and even got us ahead of schedule .. which is great because it kept us feeling stress free). We just received our sneak peak and our photos are absolutely STUNNING! We have received NUMEROUS phone calls and texts from family and friends raving about how breath taking the photos are. With guests asking how did you find your photographer because she is one of a kind! We can't wait to see all of our photos! We are not one who enjoys taking photos of ourselves but she made us absolutely love it! Our groomsmen, bridesmaids, and even our guests all mentioned to us how much they enjoyed Amy and how impressed they were with her talent, organization and helpfulness on the wedding day. I don't want to brag but we will have the best wedding photos I have ever seen because of her. Brad was our DJ and we couldn't have been happier that he was our DJ! From our first phone call with Brad we could tell that he genuinely was excited to be part of our wedding day! He was bubbly and friendly and got us pumped up! When talking on the phone with him I even did a little dance because that is how excited he made us! We hung up and we were ready to celebrate and dance right there! WE told Brad the vibe we were going for and he delivered! DJ Brad made the ceremony and reception run smoothly! From the Grand Entrance he had the guests up on their feet and ready to celebrate! He made sure the cake cutting, speeches, and evening events ran in a timely manner. Brad checked in with us periodically throughout the night to make sure everything was what we wanted. He made us feel like he was invested in making sure our day was what we envisioned. With Brad the dance floor was never was empty ... usually at weddings there are times when people take a break and there might be a couple or two left of the dance floor but that NEVER happened at our wedding because of Brad! He had the partying going all night! If you are planning a wedding you will appreciate and not regret having Mike Staff as part of your day! My husband and I booked Mike Staff Productions for photography, videography, and our DJ for our wedding and WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER! From the first time we went to the office to meet with them, everyone seemed so genuine and it was clear that they were not trying to screw us over with prices and did not try to upset us. They found the best photographer, videographer, and DJ to fit exactly what we wanted for our style and personalities. Communication was wonderful leading up to the wedding (customer service is also fantastic! Very responsive to emails whenever I had a question) and the day of the wedding could not have gone better. They all communicated with each other and kept everything on schedule. Our guests were extremely impressed, pleased, and had a wonderful night! The experience with Mike Staff was great from beginning to end. From the first meeting till the post-wedding stuff.. they were super atencious and professional. The people in the office are very nice and helpful through the process of choosing your professionals for your wedding day, making payments, pre-wedding planning, post-wedding music selections... they were great on everything! We hired 2 wedding photgraphers and a videographer. They arrived at the location for pre-wedding pictures on time (actually they were early). They gave us very good direction during the photo/video session. In the house we were getting ready they even moved stuff around to make sure we would have great pictures. On the phone conversation with Ilze, our main photographer, I explained to her the big problem I have about having my eyes closed in most pictures. She listened and made sure to check that she had good shots with my eyes open. She was also very efficient through formal family and romantic pictures to make sure we could have the pictures done within our short time frame ( a bit over 1 hour). She was very friendly and the pictures turned out amazing!!
Tracy, our second photographer, also did an amazing job! She took great shots of the guys before the cerimony. I also loved how well she captured the details of the decoration in the reception venue.. the centerpieces, the guest book, the cake, the gift table... all the details we spend so much time planning but we barely get to enjoy during the wedding and now we can remember them forever through her pictures.
Patruck was our videographer, he was also very nice, from the phone conversation till the end of the wedding. We still didn't receive our wedding video, but i am 100% sure it will be amazing just like everything that Mike Staff have done.

Amazing Photographer and Videographer services
The experience with Mike Staff was great from beginning to end. From the first meeting till the post-wedding stuff.. they were super atencious and professional. The people in the office are very nice and helpful through the process of choosing your professionals for your wedding day, making payments, pre-wedding planning, post-wedding music selections... they were great on everything! We hired 2 wedding photgraphers and a videographer. They arrived at the location for pre-wedding pictures on time (actually they were early). They gave us very good direction during the photo/video session. In the house we were getting ready they even moved stuff around to make sure we would have great pictures. On the phone conversation with Ilze, our main photographer, I explained to her the big problem I have about having my eyes closed in most pictures. She listened and made sure to check that she had good shots with my eyes open. She was also very efficient through formal family and romantic pictures to make sure we could have the pictures done within our short time frame ( a bit over 1 hour). She was very friendly and the pictures turned out amazing!!
Tracy, our second photographer, also did an amazing job! She took great shots of the guys before the cerimony. I also loved how well she captured the details of the decoration in the reception venue.. the centerpieces, the guest book, the cake, the gift table... all the details we spend so much time planning but we barely get to enjoy during the wedding and now we can remember them forever through her pictures.
Patruck was our videographer, he was also very nice, from the phone conversation till the end of the wedding. We still didn't receive our wedding video, but i am 100% sure it will be amazing just like everything that Mike Staff have done.Mike Staff Productions's reply:

We reached out to Mike Staff, not really being prepared for what to expect with wedding planning. I was overwhelmed with the options when it came to finding the perfect dj, photographer, videographer and also uplighting. When going to Mike Staff they were able to offer all options and explain the why to help us find the perfect people for us. Best Photographers/DJs/Videographers Around!
We used Mike Staff Productions for 2 Photographers, a DJ, a Videographer and Uplighting for our 10/19/19 wedding and were blown away with the entire company!
Initially, we went to the Troy, MI location to meet with Erik and go through our options for packages/people. I thought it was great to watch the videos because we could really see each personality and find someone who matched our needs.
Then, we originally booked a package that we later upgraded to include more extras we loved. We really appreciated the online portal that showed our balances and break down of each service. It was great that I could make payments on a random sunday night or whenever I wanted without hassle.
We met our first photographer Mary for our engagement shoot about a year before our wedding. We brought our dog to be a part of the photo shoot and Mary was so patient and kind to my friend/dog handler and my dog. My husband and I are not super into being the center of attention, but Mary made us feel comfortable and took really cute photos!
We loved the idea of having a vendor that manages so many items because they all knew each other, worked really well together and we were able to pay for everything and be organized with it all in one place. We spoke to all of our vendors the week of the wedding and they went through the timeline and gave us some really smart suggestions. Everything ran really smoothly and we were impressed with how personalized everything felt.

Adam was the MOST amazing DJ that I have ever experienced at a wedding. He surpassed our expectations in every way. He kept our wedding on schedule while making perfect announcements, playing spot-on songs, taking great requests, and keeping out guests dancing all night. He was punctual, friendly, and professional. He played all of the songs that we requested at just the right time. The dance floor never thinned and he read our music taste perfectly. Words can't do justice to how fantastic and professional he was. He is truly talented and anybody would be incredibly lucky to have him as their wedding DJ!Mike Staff Productions's reply:

We used Mike Staff for both photography and DJ services, and we now recommend them to everyone we can.
Jimi did a wonderful job as our ceremony DJ - everything was seamless! And Bob, our reception DJ, kept the perfect vibe going all night. He kept the timeline moving along at the perfect pace, but we never felt rushed. Even with our small guest count, the dance floor was full until the end!
And Dennis was the best photographer we've ever worked with - he did both our engagement and wedding day photos. He was professional and accommodating and, most importantly, we felt relaxed and able to just be ourselves. Can't wait to get all the pictures back!
