Beautiful photographs

I was scrolling through my Facebook feed when I saw one of my friend’s wedding pictures. I immediately fell in love with the photography style that Mike and Jamie create. I reached out to the friend on Facebook and then reached out to Mike and Jamie. The rest is history. We loved working with both of them! They’re both easy to work with and are very responsive and communicative. We received our wedding photos while we were on our honeymoon and it was so special to relive our day through the beautiful pictures that Mike and Jamie captured. They captured everything and we are incredibly grateful for the amazing work they do, thank you!!

Booking Mike and Jamie was the best wedding decision I made!

I honestly can't rave about Mike and Jamie enough. They are the most calm, comforting, organized, professional, hilarious people and they made my husband and I feel completely natural and at ease. Our pictures turned out gorgeous and better than I could have imagined. Thank you doesn't do a justice when it comes to the work they did. Do yourself a favor and book them NOW!

Flexible & Great to Work With!

We are so glad we chose Mike + Jamie to capture our wedding day and our engagement pictures! We met Mike at our engagement session & Jamie the day of our wedding. We loved having 2 photographers to capture our day from different angles. They made us feel at ease and helped keep us on a tight timeline and transition easily between 2 different locations. They captured everything from the small details to the full landscape of our venues. Communication was always quick and we received the edited pictures just over a month later in the middle of wedding season. Overall we are extremely happy and would recommend them to friends!

Couldn't ask for more!

Our wedding day was an amazing experience and thanks to Mike and Jamie we have absolutely beautiful photos to remember it with! We initially met Mike during our engagement session and instantly knew we picked the best. He was very personable and professional and when we met Jamie the day of our wedding, she was just as awesome! At no point did we feel rushed or worried about them capturing something, because they were always ready to go! In fact, they blended in so well we almost forgot they were there. To top it off, they captured so many amazing pictures of moments we never would have seen and for that we're truly thankful.

Mike and Jamie were wonderful to work with before, during, and after the wedding. You spend a lot of intimate moments with your wedding photographer and Mike and Jamie made it feel so natural. The pictures came out better than we ever could have expected and they had them back to us in less than a month! If we had it all over to do again we would book Mike and Jamie without hesitation!

Mike and Jamie were wonderful! Before the wedding, they were extremely responsive when it came to all of my emails full of questions. On the day of the wedding, they kept everything running so smoothly and kept us at ease. They were so fun to be around. Their photos are breathtaking; they make sure to get the standard photos, but also take fun, artistic shots that stand out from other photographers. I would recommend them in a heart beat!

Breath of Life Photography is amazing! I am so happy that I chose them to take our wedding photos. They both are such great people to work with! They make sure to capture every moment of your big day! They were with us all day and it was great! They were able to capture all parts of the day which made it great! We could not have had a better experience with Mike and Jamie. When I thought of Wedding Photographers I imagined someone being in the way of the day's events but they just felt so natural and everyone in our party loved them. We found Breath of Life on Facebook from looking at a friend's photos they took at their wedding. We had never met Mike and Jamie before but after meeting them we instantly knew they were the right choice! Of all the different people and companies involved in our wedding they were by far the best to work with and the people we would most highly recommend. We could not be happier with the finished product and love looking at the beautiful pictures and remembering our perfect day! The thing that blew us away the most was how kind and great Mike and Jamie were to work with. They are definitely doing what they were meant to do. My husband can be awkward when we take pictures but even he felt very much at ease with them being there and taking his pictures. They are so nice and friendly, it is amazing how much of a difference that makes and probably one of the reasons why they are able to capture amazing shots.

Mike and Jamie were an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the wedding process. They were professional, attentive, and have a passion for their work and clients which is evident in their stunning photographs. They are worth every penny we paid and more and photography is the one area you don't want to skimp on! They made all of our family, children and guests feel valued and comfortable and added to the joy of our special day. Not only are they wonderful to work with they are incredibly talented! Our photographs looked like they were out of a wedding magazine but were also unique, artistic, and intimate. An added bonus is that these two are genuine, kind, and simply amazing people, which is evident within moments of communicating with them. I would HIGHLY recommend them for wedding photographers and we LOVE them and our photos so much, we cannot wait to use them for our family photos in the future.

Mike and Jamie were absolutely amazing photographers! Like many brides, having a good photographer was of high importance. When I met with Mike to go over things months before the wedding, all my worries were gone. On the wedding day they were on time and did not miss a beat of me getting ready. Somehow they captured all the big moments, but let everything happen naturally (rather than making us pose). After the wedding, per my suggestion they rode on the party bus with us while capturing fun shots of us dancing and celebrating. We drove around Cincinnati and they knew the best spots for us to take photos and WOW were the results AMAZING! They made the photo shoot fun and once we got pictures with our bridal party, they focused on my husband and I. This was a very special part of the day that I will never forget. I remember my husband and I looking at each other and saying we felt like Mike and Jamie were our good friends, even tho we had just met them. Just when I thought things couldn't get any better, Mike and Jamie came up to us at the reception and said they had a surprise for us. They took us to a table where they had already downloaded some of our photos to their laptop and had a slideshow playing for all to see! After the wedding our photos were emailed to us super fast! The quality of the photos were outstanding, I couldn't have dreamed of better photographers! I suggest them to everyone I talk to and I will be using them again in the future!

Mike and Jamie were the photographers for our wedding in February of 2015 and I cannot say enough great things about them! Their style of photography is more about capturing those special candid moments rather than shooting poses which is great since my husband and I are extremely awkward about getting our picture taken. Mike and Jamie had us laughing the entire time and we felt like the four of us had been friends for years. You could see in each photo the genuine joy and happiness that our wedding day brought, which is what everyone wants to remember 50 years from now. Even more impressive is how they managed to take a rather dreary background (Downtown Springfield in an Ohio February) and turn it into a high quality and unique location. They also displayed a sneak peak of the photo shoot before the ceremony on Mike’s laptop at our reception! I cannot express in words how FANTASTIC Mike and Jamie were to work with, spend time with, and the quality of their work. There is no one else I would of rather have photograph one of the best days of our lives.

Mike and Jamie were wonderful! I could not imagine my day without them. They were very professional and made my myself and my husband feel very comfortable. They have a passion for what they do and it shows in their work. They had great suggestions for where to take shots and how to position ourselves without the photos looking staged. Both Mike and Jamie didn't hesitate to step in if something needed to be done. Jamie even brought out her curling iron and fixed our hair while we were getting ready. They went above and beyond the call of duty. I would have no hesitation recommending Breath of Life to other brides. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Breath of Life Photography (Mike and Jamie) were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were timely, professional, creative, and most importantly fun. They captured every important moment and then some. I loved that they both worked together to make my day seamless and stress free. They didn't have an overwhelming presence, which I appreciated because I didn't feel like my every move was being watched. They were a silent force that gave direction well. They made me feel comfortable and beautiful. My day started off every hot and they were patient with me and my bridesmaids as we took pictures. They created creative shots that I love after seeing the sneak peak, which was delivered a week later. I was so excited to have the opportunity to relive my special day so quickly. During my ceremony it down poured, which prevented many of my desired outdoor shots with my husband. But they were so excellent, they stood in the rain and took beautiful photographs despite the difficult lighting situation. You can't even tell that it was raining in my pictures. I would recommend them to anyone looking a wonderful couple devoted to making a bride feel amazing on her wedding day.

Mike and Jamie are wonderful. I'm so happy I chose them to photograph my wedding. From the second they walked into my venue it felt like I had known them for years. They were soooo friendly. They took tons of pictures and even edited some of them before the reception was over so my husband and I and our guests could get a preview of our pictures. My husband and I hired the dynamic duo of Mike and Jamie of Breath of Life Photography for our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos. We couldn't be happier with how they captured our special day. Not only are they excellent photographers, they are fun people! Jamie and Mike were amazing! Their talent for unique and edgy wedding photography is incredible. They arrived on time and while Jamie was with me and my girls, Mike took pictures with the guys getting ready at my parents house. They make an amazing team together and their vision for great shots is second to none. We are already very pleased with our sneak peek photos that were scrolling at the reception. Jamie did a great job commanding the attention of everyone during the family and bridal party photos which I was glad because I didn't want to have to do that. She also went above and beyond and helped me fixed my bussle a few times that kept falling down and even helped with the lacing on my dress because my bridesmaids were having trouble lacing me up. It was a true pleasure to work with them and can't wait to see the finished product!

Mike and Jamie were the photographers for our wedding and they did a spectacular job. They were around all day, getting all of the shots. Jamie stayed with the girls through 6 of us getting our hair and make-up done, and Mike got shots of the men getting ready. They were so easy to work with and very accommodating! They do amazing work and Jamie was even able to help sew a bridesmaid's dress. All around top notch photographers and for a great price as well. Would definitely recommend to family and friends, or to anyone looking for a photographer for their special event!

This photography couple is AMAZING!! They take wonderful pictures, make you feel comfortable and go above and beyond for the bride and groom. I tend to take goofy photos and the couple went right along with it!

My husband's grandma passed away two weeks after our wedding. Even though this is a crazy busy time for photographers in the summer, Breath Of Life Photography was able to get us the CD of photos from the wedding in time to have photos at his grandma's funeral from our wedding when she looked AMAZING!!

These photographers mean a lot to my husband and me. We planned to use them again once there is a bun in the oven!!

Working with Mike and Jamie was one of the best parts of our wedding day. They were by far the absolute best vendors we had the pleasure of working with. Mike & Jamie were incredible! They were fun and outgoing, and made sure we got all the shots we wanted! Mike and Jamie were wonderful to work with. They were everywhere, but always in the background taking pics. The group shots were gorgeous, and by half way through the reception, the pre-ceremony shots were scrolling on a laptop at the back of the room! Awesome! They were genius at handling a fussy toddler in a totally stress-free way. They stayed for the whole reception. Just can't recommend them highly enough. Completely worth every penny.

We were planning from out of town and they were very flexible with our tight schedules while in town, or communicating/planning via email. The day of they were prompt and able to work easily with the wedding party as well as independently take candid/prop shots at well timed moments. Zero worry was caused by the Breath team, they did their jobs perfectly allowing us to focus our day. And the photos/editing...I cannot tell you how many compliments I have recieved. Top quality shots, with top quality editing makes for a wedding album I will swoon over for years. Thanks to Mike&Jamie!

I am so happy with our photos! This husband and wife team are very kind and energetic people who know how to catch special moments. I didn't do a videographer and chose Breath of Life because their pictures truly tell a story. Looking through our pictures felt like experiencing our special day all over again! Our friends and family are still complimenting our photographs! We are so happy we went with Mike and Jamie.

I recomend Breath of Life Photography to everyone when I get the chance! They deliver artsy, abstract photos that are not the typical wedding photos most photographers deliver. They are extrememly talented!

Breath of Life Photography was absolutely amazing! They were very reasonably priced and offered the same style photographs as photographers charging twice their rates! The only issue we ran into was location. My husband and I live in Elkhart and have difficult schedules. Breath of Life is in Warsaw, so it was tough working out schedules that worked for everyone considering the location difference. They were willing to meet later in the afternoon/evening on the day that worked best for us. We would absolutely recommend them to our friends and family and hope that we will be able to utilize their talent and love for photography in the future!

Although Breath of Life cost a lot, we were glad to pay it because it meant we would get the chance to work with Mike and Jamie. They are wonderful people and made us feel completely comfortable on our day. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

Jamie and Mike know what they are doing. The only thing that I would have liked to see more of is more pictures with bride & groomsmen and groom & bridesmaids. And more goofy shots, but other then that, they were awesome awesome awesome to work with. They knew what was going to look good and what was going to work, they were so cool and friendly that it was very easy for my husband and I to work with them. They have helped us get everything that we wanted out of our pictures. Highly recommend them!

Mike and Jamie are so nice!!! Mike drove several hours to meet us for engagement pictures at our alma mater. We really appreciated that! On the day of the wedding everything went smoothly. Both Mike and Jamie are wonderful to work with. They even had enough time to post process wedding day photos to view during the reception. That was awesome. They were pretty quick at getting pictures on Instagram and Facebook. Shortly after that the photos were on their website. The only critique I have is they are relatively slow getting the original image files and photo album proofs to us. Thank you for capturing memories of our engagement/wedding! :)

We were excited to work with Mike and Jamie, and although we love the pictures we did get, we have some concerns we would like to share. When we saw the photos in the online gallery, some shots were missing including some we had taken with friends and some important detail shots. When I asked for these shots, Jamie told us that Mike was out of town but would look through them again. Eventually we got an email that a few shots were added to the gallery, but "Some of the group photos are not of suitable enough quality, some of the detail shots we did not get due to being off with you guys fulfilling photo requests, or a variety extra factors." I asked them to look again and offered to pay for additional editing time.

They ignored our phone calls and texts and took many days to reply to emails. Over a month and a half later, Mike went back and added more photos before sending us the disc, which we appreciated. This included a couple of group shots so they must have been suitable enough quality. There are still detail shots missing, no close up's of us or the bridal party during the ceremony, and many guests we have no photos of at the reception. We have about ten photos of one family with kids, but zero photos of many of the other families including our close relatives. I thought they would be staying until the end of the reception, but they asked to leave after the special dances were over since we didn't have a bouquet or garter toss. I didn't object to them leaving early which I regret because they may have taken more shots that were missing. The reception was such an important part of the day, and we missed out on photos from a majority of that time and our last dance which we had specially planned.

I highly regret not choosing a photographer that would have been more responsive and cared more about what we wanted before, during, and after the day. I don't think they fully captured how great our venue was and the things we did to make our wedding unique.

Breath of Life Photography came recommended to us through an acquaintance who had beautiful photos of her engagement and wedding.

The quality of the photos we DID get were nice, but there were quite a few problems, too.

First, many of the photos of our very colorful wedding and venue came to us in black and white. A few would have been fine, but approximately 1/3 of the photos that we received were not in color. When I mentioned that I'd like to have the black and white photos in color, I was told that it would be an additional $50 to "undo" the black and white editing and submit the other photos to us. (Who doesn't keep the original color files?) After paying over $1500 for our photo package, I could not fathom paying even more to have the photos I already paid for. When I brought up my concerns, I was told that there would be a longer wait time to get my photos and that their creative license allowed them to submit the photos to us in whatever style they wanted (not their exact words, of course), and that I should have specified prior to the wedding if I did not want any black and white photos. How is a bride (who presumably has never had wedding pictures taken before) supposed to know until she actually sees them? When we finally came to an agreement, it took 3 months to finally get the photos.

Another problem I had was that there were no candid photos of me, the bride. There were several of my husband, but none of me, which makes no sense.

Additionally, we received approximately 140 photos in total from our wedding day. Other weddings that occurred around the same time as ours had upwards of 400 photos. FOUR HUNDRED, and we had 140. When packages are priced by the hour, shouldn't each couple receive roughly the same amount of pictures for the money? Also, the audacity to try to charge for "extra time to edit" when we got 1/4 of the pictures of most other brides seems a little ridiculous, too.
