    From start to finish Midwest Tents & Events were so helpful! Adam came out to our house where my wedding was taking place and walked through the best set up for the number of guests we were anticipating. They worked with us on the right delivery date and answered any and all questions we had. I would highly recommend them! It was one less thing for us to worry about the everything looked perfect for our wedding :)

    Everything arrived as scheduled, clean and sparkling from the dishes to the glasses to the white linens and white chairs. Everything was picked up the next day. Adam is a wonderful guy to work with. We made several changes as well as additions, and all were done with a smile. I recommend this to everyone and I will definitely use them again

    Adam was awesome! From start to finish he was pleasant, professional and paid attention to every detail in planning our 25th wedding anniversary. Everything was clean and beautiful for our outdoor elegant gathering. The lighting he provided set a magically ambience. I would highly recommend Midwest Tents & Events.

    We rent everything from tent to tables to spoons to napkins...
    10!!!!!!! best service, best price, best equipment. Adam was very helpful with what we need and how many - took a lot of presure from us - Thank you

    I would tell anyone considering using this vendor to rest assured, your event will be beautiful. We recently hosted a beautiful wedding for our niece in our backyard. We had a tent to accommodate about 70 people. The owner was very patient in assisting us with table placement options as well as the selection of chairs available. Since the family was supplying all of the food, we also rented a grill, keg coolers, dishes, glassware and a great bounce house for the kids. The rented dance floor ensured that everyone had a great time! We couldn't have asked for a nicer day and calling Midwest Tents and Events took all the stress out of planning a party. We will surely use them again.

    This vendor is great! Adam was very professional, listened to all my requests, and was very easy to work with. The tent and equipment we rented was clean and delivered in a timely manner. We would definitely recommend Midwest Tents and Events for any event, not just a wedding, outdoors or for any tables,chairs,etc. Everything went very smoothly and Adam was great! We highly recommend this vendor!!!

    I rented two sequin tablecloths that were supposed to be blush pink but they were much darker. They looked good at my event so I wasn't too put off by that. They seem to be efficient but the staff is rude and unprofessional. Both over the phone and in person. This company has a wide variety of items for all events. I only needed two things but there's a lot more to chose from. If you can deal with unhappy employees they probably have everything you need.

    Hi Sarah,

    Firstly, I want to thank you for your rental. I'm sorry you felt that you were treated unprofessionally. My name is Adam and I own Midwest Tents & Events. I am the one you placed your order with. As we discussed when you ordered, our Fox Lake location does not handle any specialty linens such as the sequin linens that you ordered for your event. Normally, we deliver linens directly to the event site from our DeKalb location. Since you only ordered two linens, I could understand why you did not want to pay to have the linens delivered and instead decided to pick them up yourself. Since your event was located directly between the DeKalb and Fox Lake locations, and you lived closer to Fox Lake, you requested to pick up your order in Fox Lake. Again, our Fox Lake location does not offer the specialty linens that you wanted for your event, so I personally drove them up to that location after hours one day to accommodate your pickup.

    As for the color being off, we welcome all of our customers to visit our showroom in DeKalb to see actual fabric samples in person before ordering. Everybody's computer monitor is unique, so looking at a color on your computer monitor and seeing it in person can be very different. Lighting also plays a huge factor in how a color looks at your event. Incandescent lighting, fluorescent lighting, and LED lighting will all make the same linen look like a different shade, or even a different color.

    I'm glad that we were able to accommodate your rental and that you feel that we deserve 5 stars for value. We will continue to work with our customer service staff to ensure that everybody is treated professionally.

    So rude to me! Also tables looked like broken doors!

    My tables looked like broken doors. And when I said something they told me I get what I pay for.

    Hi Kaitlyn,

    My name is Adam and I am the owner of Midwest Tents & Events and I'm sorry you were not completely satisfied with your order. I am the one who was at the counter when your order was returned, however, it was your husband who returned the tables and he is the one who told me that you were expecting plastic tables and not wood tables. I never had the opportunity to speak with you directly. I explained to him that we do not rent plastic tables and that we only carry wood tables. I did not say anything like "you get what you pay for". I showed him the "Tables" page on our website and showed him that our 6' Table shows a picture of the exact type of table you received. All of our equipment is in excellent condition, however, due to the nature of rental tables being transported on a weekly basis they can develop scratches, scuffs, and dings on their wood tops. This is no secret and we do not try to hide that from our customers. In fact, for that reason we always recommend you cover any rental table with a linen or plastic table cover. We happen to have over 70 colors of linens available for rent and 4 colors of plastic table covers available for purchase, neither of which you chose to take advantage of.
