We had a great experience working with Midwest Sound, and our DJ Bradley. Personally I chose them because they were one of the most affordable options our venue recommended, and they provided incredible service! They are very communicative and responsive, and the website they use for managing events is easy to use. Would highly recommend!

Amazing work!
DJ Nick Anthony did an amazing job from start to finish! He kept the energy up all night, read the crowd perfectly, and had guests of all ages on the dance floor. The music flowed seamlessly, and every key moment, from the ceremony to the reception, was timed and executed flawlessly.
He was professional, easy to work with, and made the entire process stress-free. So many of our guests commented on how great the music was and how much fun they had. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ and would highly recommend him to any couple looking for an unforgettable wedding celebration!

Midwest is the Best!
As a couple deciding on how to best to pay for music expenses, Midwest allowed us to pay installment payments and this was the best decision.
Midwest Sound and DJ was very professional, arrived one-time, honored our music playlist and helped bring together both families on the dance floor.
It was amazing to see my father-in-law smiling, dancing, and having a wonderful time at the reception. Midwest Sound and DJ helped create memories for a lifetime.

Midwest Sound & Disco Joe are The Best of The Best!
I just got married on November 8th, 2025, in Oshkosh, WI and Disco Joe was our DJ with Midwest Sound. It was the most perfect day and a large part of that was thanks to them. I could not recommend Midwest Sound and Disco Joe enough. From the early wedding planning stages, I knew they were going to be incredible. The Midwest Sound website was so easy to navigate. The FAQs page is extensive and all of my questions were answered before I even sent my initial inquiry email. My communication with Sara was excellent. She was so receptive and answered my emails promptly. I never had to wait long for her to answer one of my questions. She was also so accommodating when I needed to make some small changes and add on some “extras”. The client portal was also so easy to use. The reception and ceremony planning forms were extremely thorough. There was a place for me to put every possible detail that my DJ would need to know to execute my ceremony and reception. My final meeting with Disco Joe was also incredible. He took his time combing through every detail on my ceremony and reception planning forms. We went through the forms line by line to ensure he understood my vision. I had a lot of important music cues and other small details that required specific announcements. He took his time to understand his role in our wedding and even took thorough notes during the planning meeting. He reassured me multiple times during the meeting that he was going to make sure we had a wonderful wedding day, and man, he did NOT disappoint! Our one request was to make sure the dance floor was hopping. Thanks to Disco Joe, our dance floor was NEVER empty. Not one point in the night was the dance floor empty. It was a party for 4.5 straight hours. He played every song that we requested and was receptive to my requests and needs throughout the night. He was professional, friendly, frequently checked in on us throughout the night, ensured we remained on track with time, did an excellent job playing music based on the flow of the dance floor and our guests, and even dressed to impress. We had multiple people at our wedding come up to us and ask for Midwest Sound & Disco Joe's contact information for their future weddings. Midwest Sound, and specifically Disco Joe, exceeded our expectations. If I could rate them higher than 5/5 stars, I would. I would recommend Midwest Sound and Disco Joe 100 times over.

My husband and I were so happy with our wedding DJ, Brad, from Midwest DJ Sound Entertainment! He was so wonderful to work with and made the process very easy and enjoyable. We were blown away by Midwest! From start to finish they surpassed our expectations. Their customer service is what really sticks out. It is so hard to find the customer service they delivered. EVERY single person we talked to was extremely professional, helpful, attentive, and genuine. The pricing is what also sold us! It was so reasonable priced compared to all the other DJ companies we researched. We had Coty for our DJ and couldn't be happier in how he did! We got so many compliments about him! He went above and beyond, he was checking in throughout the whole reception and he made sure our night was the best night of our lives. Best DJ ever! We had Justin at our wedding and the experience was great from start to finish. He was easy to work with and open to our requests. The ceremony went smoothly, exactly as expected and the reception was awesome. We had a full dance floor the entire night and Justin kept everyone engaged and dancing. We are SO pleased with Midwest sound!! It's a little risky to not be able to meet your DJ until the week before the wedding. HOWEVER, knowing there's a back up plan to the back up plan and having extremely good communication from a TEAM of people for the whole planning process was fabulous!
While looking a DJ we had interviewed another company that we did NOT click with. So I asked what happened if we met the DJ and it just wasn't what we wanted. The team told us that a) that's almost never happened and b) if it did, they would happily switch the DJ out to make it right.
We got paired with Justin. And I honestly didn't have high hopes or expectations for a DJ. But Justin BLEW it out of the water! He was so responsive the week before when I had quick questions and even the MORNING of when I asked him if he could play a recording of my husbands grandparents doing a reading. He made it happen! It was one of the highlights of the day and the fact that he was able to pivot last second, was incredible.
Not only that, but we had people on the dance floor - LOTS of people - until the last minute. I've never seen that many people still dancing that late and many of our guests commented the same thing.
Parts of our wedding were a little non-traditional (we did a Rover Toss for national dog day!) and Justin was fabulous at pumping people up and getting them engaged!
We were SO happy with Justin that not only did we tip him the night of, we actually contacted him again the next day to tip him MORE bc we were so pleased!
Midwest sound was super easy to work with! The price was very fair. And we had the best DJ! Though you can't reserve a DJ, you can request one (no guarantees) and I HIGHLY suggest you request Justin!!

Brandon from Midwest Sound was such an amazing DJ for our wedding (ceremony & reception). He took the time to get to know us as people and made sure he was aware of all the details to keep our wedding day running smoothly. So many of our guests said what a great job he did! He listened to all of our requests and kept the dance floor filled all night. He did such a great job with music selection and keeping people dancing that we asked him to stay longer because no one would leave the dance floor! Brandon was in integral part in making our wedding day so special and fun.

We worked with Midwest Sound on our wedding day, and would highly recommend it to others! Our coordinator Sarah was really helpful with getting everything coordinated beforehand, and our DJ was DJ TY who was AMAZING and so friendly and made everything really easy. He listened to everything we wanted, and handled everything else that we didn’t really have an opinion on. The pacing and music choices were spot-on, and the lighting looked great. He also brought an assistant for training (after confirming that was fine with us) and she was also a delight! We had a wonderful experience - highly recommend!

Perfect vender for the Perfect Day
These guys are absolutely AMAZING!!! First, I would like to shout out Disco Joe!! Joe was a consummate professional; he thoroughly went through my wife and I’s plan and expectations and performed wonderfully!! At so many times in the night we were complimented by our guests for how good Disco Joe was. I might be bias, but it was the best DJ experience I have ever had at a wedding.
Second, we booked Midwest Sound I think pretty early in our wedding planning process and they were amazing! The customer service was fantastic. The Midwest Sound questionnaire is very comprehensive and allowed us to add all our favorite songs for our wedding reception. We were able to request movie/video game soundtracks for our dinner, which our close friends all loved! Our DJ was professional and kind, and even wrote us a wedding card following the reception. Midwest Sound also provided good recommendations for up lighting and for creating our timeline for the day.
At all stages of wedding planning and the reception, Midwest Sound had excellent communication, excellent recommendations, and exceptional professionalism. We would strongly recommend Midwest Sound.

Awesome DJ!
We got married last weekend and had Brad as our dj! He was fantastic. I had given him a list prior of songs I wanted played and he played them and played so many other great songs that went with the vibe we wanted! He was so sweet and fun and we got so many compliments on the music. They really make sure you can personalize your music and pick a dj that will fit exactly what you want. I would definitely recommend using this dj at your future wedding!

I cannot say enough good things about Midwest sound! Our DJ was Nick and he and his apprentice provided us with the most amazing time! They provided the most beautiful ceremony music and it felt very calm and intimate. Nick kept the night flowing smoothly, listened to our requests and ideas really giving us the reigns, and kept people dancing all night long. Nick and his apprentice were really able to read the room and play songs everyone wanted to hear and phase out ones that weren’t quite clicking. They were both very energetic leading some dances and followed our must play song list very well. If you get the chance make sure you request Nick he is so kind and in general just so fun to be around.

Due to the pandemic shutdowns I had to reschedule my wedding three different times. Each time I reached out, Midwest Sound was so understanding and accommodating. The online portal they use is user friendly and such a great tool. When our Wedding day finally came to be, our D.J. Brandon was amazing, playing all the best songs that kept our guests out on the dance floor all night! My friends and family are still telling me what a great time they had dancing the night away! Midwest Sound was the DJ we hired for my daughter's wedding, and they did a fantastic job!
Midwest provides bridal couples with a unique login for their planning portal that makes planning the event, creating play (and do not play) lists a breeze. They also provided ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner music.
Our DJ, Josh, was the best! He arrived on time, and was very flexible while working with our videographer on audio for the ceremony. Midwest Sound provided great service from the very beginning of our wedding planning. They are very responsive and cater to personal needs. They will pick a DJ based on your personal preferences. The DJ provided did an amazing job. Our 1st DJ had a family emergency and had to leave early and another DJ stepped right in without interrupting our reception. Our guests never knew. I would highly recommend Midwest Sound!!

Midwest Sound set us up with the perfect DJ for our wedding. DJ Joe was down to earth and reassured us that he was going to make sure our guests had a good time & we wouldn’t have anything to worry about when it came to the music and flow of the night. We are so glad we went with Midwest Sound. Ashley was our DJ and had a winning formula for music that night. We had so many compliments from guests saying we had some of the best wedding dance music. Better than we could have imagined
I don't even know where to start when describing how thankful we are for Midwest Sound, so I guess I will start from the beginning.
My partner and I were are a wedding show in Madison, and we were not even thinking about DJ's at this point. As we were exiting the show one of their representatives approached me and made a pleasant comment on my tattoo, so we stuck up a conversation. That led to us booking them that day. After that, Covid hit hard and they were so relaxing and accommodating with us as we switched our wedding date three times.
From the initial in-office meeting, to the multiple number of phone calls, not once did we feel pressured to upgrade our package, or make hasty decisions regarding the big day. We had some nontraditional requests, like letting our bridal party pick our grand march song and keep it a surprise to us until the moment we walked in. This was huge because they had no problem working with our bridal party and it went off flawlessly.
Justin was the DJ for our big day, and he did an amazing job. He played exactly what we asked him to and flawlessly flowed between song selections. We were pretty strict on the kind of music we didn't want, and he was very pleasant to our guests when they requested songs on our do not play list. He did not talk the whole night like you see in the movies, but instead he made announcements when he needed to, and played perfect music otherwise.
I cannot express how grateful we are for this company, and how magical they made the evening. They drove all the way up to Green Bay for our event, which I know is a drive for any wedding vendor. I can honestly say you are passing up an amazing experience if you look anywhere else for your music needs.

We had Coty as our DJ and our guests had so much fun. You can tell that he loves his job. We also had a great time working with the office staff (and owners I think). They were all so accommodating for us having to reschedule our wedding twice, and even traveled two hours to our event!

Time of our life!
Evan and I can’t thank Midwest Sound enough. We booked our DJ back in 2019, before the pandemic, what impressed us was the willingness Chad had to meet with us, when we couldn’t meet during the hours they are usually open. He took a Sunday when they are off to meet with us and discuss everything. Not only that, they are very responsive, and alway there to help with ideas. Due to us not being able to have our reception in March of 2020, we had to reschedule and though we had to reschedule basically 3 times, Midwest sound was beyond flexible. Also they do truly cater to anything you need to have the best day of your lives, from making the playlist to writing in creative ideas. Our DJ, Micheal was so much fun, he had everyone on the floor, awesome announcements, and also always being in full communication with Evan and I throughout the night. He was very polite and you could tell he is truly passionate about his career. We truly did have “the time of our life” we can’t thank Midwest Sound enough, for their professionalism, fun, and overall love they provided to us. If your looking for a very communicated company and wanting to fully custom your day, look no further.... Thank you Midwest Sound!
Oh and also they do a super fun photobooth offer!! Our guy Justin was a blast! He was so easy to work with, and help our guests out easily and also filing the awesome book of photo keepsakes for us and having our guests write fun things. We truly appreciated all the hard work he did for us. Our guests enjoyed the phot booth so much, and said it’s an awesome keepsake to have of the photos and memories made. Trust me, get a photobooth for your wedding- you won’t regret it one bit!

So impressed with how many people they got dancing!
Ty was great! We had a couple of calls with him before the day to nail down the details, and the day-of he came up to us a few times to keep us updated on everything. Good emcee, dinner music was somewhat generic but the dancing music was exactly what we wanted. We didn't have a dancing crowd at all but the dance floor was occupied for at least half the night. Better than we were hoping for!

We loved using Midwest Sound for our wedding! A month before our wedding we had to switch venues and Midwest Sound was very accommodating and assured us they would still be our DJ. About a week before our wedding our DJ, Tyler, contacted me to go over everything and make sure he had all the correct song choices down. The day of the wedding Tyler was amazing! He helped keep us on schedule and kept everyone dancing. He was really good at reading the crowd and I was told multiple times during the night what a great DJ he was. We were so happy to have chosen Midwest Sound and to have Tyler help make our special day even more memorable.

So many compliments from guests!
The manager checked in with us a few times prior to the wedding date after we scheduled to make sure we didn’t have questions, see if there were any changes, etc. She was amazing and so calming! Midwest Sound has a form online for the bride and groom to fill out with our favorite songs/singers. Our actual DJ called a few days prior to find out if anything hand changed from our request form and just to chat with us. He played great music and made sure to keep checking in from a distance with the bride/groom with a thumbs up or a look. He was not over involved at all, but was able to keep people dancing and having fun! I would 100% go with our DJ and the company again.

Our wedding on October 6th was DJed and MCed by Michael from Midwest Sound. He did a wonderful job and really knew the space in the Memorial Union in Madison where our Ceremony and Reception took place. Tim was our DJ and he was the bomb! Everyone keeps telling me how much fun they had dancing on the dance floor LOL. Like woah guys, the entire wedding was supposed to be fun, not just the dancing. No, Midwest was SO easy. Everything was online, made payments online, submitting my requests online on their easy portal, and from the minute I contacted them to the day of, they were very responsive, professional and really took the task of "finding a vendor" less stressful. They know what they are doing, they have everything you need and it was very affordable. Tim even showed us new dance moves :) He coordinated with my photographer and my friend I put in charge of last minute tasks. He was so great. Thanks, Tim!!!

We used Midwest Sound for our wedding August 3rd, and they did an amazing job!! From the first time we met with them until the day of the wedding, everything was seamless and they were so easy to work with the whole time! Sarah at the office was always so easy to reach and got back to me right away with every question I asked. She was very helpful! We also worked with Carrie, the music director, because we wanted to do a mash-up of 2 songs for the father-daughter dance and she was so nice to work with! She was very quick to respond and did a great job helping us with our mash-up, which turned out perfect! Brandon was our DJ for the big day and he was beyond perfect!! He got in touch with me the week before our wedding and we talked on the phone and texted days before the big day about my vision and any special requests that we had. He made us feel at ease about the big day and was very easy to talk to and get along with. The day of the wedding, he came up to me at the reception and we finalized the timeline, and again, he helped us feel more at ease. Throughout the night, he came up to me several times and asked if everything was going according to plan and if I wanted to change anything, which was very thoughtful and genuine! He did a great job keeping people on the dance floor all night and played songs that kept people dancing, which is what we had requested! He seemed to know the vibes of what people wanted to hear and played those songs, as well as playing the songs that I had requested beforehand. He played a good balance of every genre: slow, fast, oldies, new songs, as well as songs people requested throughout the night. So many of my friends and family raved about how good our DJ was and what a good job Brandon did of playing popular songs and keeping people on the dance floor. I can't remember how many times I heard that it was the "most fun wedding ever!" I would 100% recommend using Midwest Sound for DJ services, they exceeded our expectations! Brandon is an amazing DJ and was amazing to work with!!

The DJ was the highlight of our night!!! We had Allan as our DJ and everyone LOVED the music. We were pretty specific with the type of music we wanted because our family and friends love to dance a lot. Allan did an excellent job mixing in everything we asked for and played to the crowd really well! The dance floor was packed until the venue turned the lights on and told us it was time to go. Reno (our DJ) and another lady (can’t recall her name-sorry!) and all the staff at Midwest Sound knocked it out of the park! Carrie was awesome to talk to about all of our details and entered it all in to their online system for us! She even made edits of our first dances so we didn’t have to dance for a full 4-5 minutes with everyone staring at us! Reno was very responsive prior to the event and flexible with our crazy crew on the day of the event! He and his partner kept the dance floor packed (exactly what we wanted)! Everyone keeps telling us how much of a blast it was and we have to thank Midwest Sound for that!

Jerry was our DJ and we couldn't have been more impressed! He was fun and easy to work with. We added ceremony music to our contract at the last minute and are so happy we did. Everything went very smoothly! He was engaging and got our guests out on the dance floor. We received so many compliments from our guests throughout the night on how great our DJ was. Highly recommended!

We used Midwest Sound for our downtown Milwaukee wedding over Labor Day weekend. The office staff was super easy to work with and accommodating with changes and additions to our initial order. We found the pricing more affordable than most other DJs we explored. We added uplighting to our music package and it was affordable and added a lot to the room. Mike, our DJ, was wonderful! The older folks really loved the "Rat Pack" cocktail hour music and after dinner all of our friends and family had such a blast dancing to all of our favorite songs!

Our DJ from Midwest DJ and Sound, Reno, was a true highlight of our wedding. The company was easy to work with, and they did a great job of matching us with a DJ that fit our style. Our DJ honored all of our wishes and handled everything beautifully. We used the DJ for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception - he was extremely professional, and the sound quality was superb (in fact, several of our guests were shocked to find out it was a recording and not a live band at our ceremony). As for the reception, our dance floor was packed all night! I highly recommend booking this company for your wedding music and entertainment!

We used mid west for our dj and they were amazing. They worked with us through the process even when I was super hard to get a hold of. Our dj was awesome with a family member with autism. Very professional.

We used Midwest Sound for our September 30 wedding and they were fantastic! After looking around for weeks for a DJ and having difficulty getting a real response, we came across Midwest Sound on The Knot and called them- we didn't need to call anyone else. From the moment they promptly answered the phone to the follow-up on our music requests and details, this company understands the meaning of "professional service".
Our DJ was Brandon. He called a week in advance to go over our requests and details, showed up over 2 hours early to prepare, and consistently made sure the music and dancing was in accord with what we wanted. Brandon did an AMAZING job!
Our experience is best summed up when we spoke to the Music Director, Carrie, about whether she had any suggestions on certain music to play during our ceremony. She said "Well, first of all, the only right music is the music YOU want, and we'll make whatever you want work, because it's YOUR day." Couldn't have said it better.

These guys were truly amazing. They were very clear from the beginning as far as service and price, and were incredibly accommodating as to our needs and wants for the big day. They made changes when we asked on a dime, they got all the "out there" songs I wanted for my ceremony and all with such casual ease and friendliness. Tally, our DJ, felt like one of my friends by the end of the night, and even started a dance off with my guests! It was such a good time, all I heard the following week was "what an awesome wedding!" and the music was certainly a huge part of that. Thank you so much!!

Midwest Sound is great! They make the planning super easy through their online form, and I thought they were incredibly helpful and professional. Our DJ Jen did a seriously amazing job at the wedding! You could tell she loves her job, and her energy was infectious. They were also so much less expensive than most other places I inquired, but the quality was amazing. Also we got our photobooth through them (Celebration Station) and it was the best photobooth ever, no joke. The props were amazing, the photobooth attendant was helpful, and he did a great job of encouraging our guests to sign a book of the photos as they took them. All around super impressed with this company and the two amazing people that helped out on our day!

We had Emily for our wedding on 8/11/17 at The Barn at Harvest Moon Pond and she was so great! The dance floor was never empty and she was fun and outgoing without being over bearing! She was young and humorous which fit us perfectly!

We had Drew for our DJ and he was AWESOME! We had our guests requests songs through their RSVPs, and he wove the songs into the music for the night (and took requests). He made sure things went smoothly and kept the guests on the dance floor. I highly recommend!

Midwest Sound DJ Entertainment made our wedding reception a night to remember!! Before the big day, representatives were always available by phone to answer the many questions I had. They also were understanding when I said I was nervous about meeting a DJ just a week before, so they had our DJ reach out to us two weeks before instead. This proves the company really takes care of you!! On the big day, our DJ was FANTASTIC! He did exactly what we asked him to do. When we got to the reception late due to pictures, he kept us on time which we really appreciated. He checked in with us the perfect amount of times (not too much or too little) and was very responsive to our guests as well. In my opinion, a DJ can make or break a reception atmosphere. Our DJ definitely made the reception. Overall, I am SO happy with the service we were given. Thank you Midwest Sound DJ Entertainment!!

We had many compliments about our DJ! He was wonderful! We were connected with Malik (I hope I spelled his name correctly). He kept our guests on the dance floor all night and was the perfect DJ for our crowd! Everyone enjoyed the variety of music and he accommodated all of our requests from the online planning tool. I had Dan as my dj for my wedding this past weekend. All my guests were on the dance floor all night long. Nobody left because the music was soo great! Dan was dancing with my guests and made everyone have a blast! My family kept telling me how awesome the dj was and how fun the music was because there was so much variety! I would recommend this company to anyone! They went above and beyond my expectations. No need to look anyone else but Midwest!!

We loved Midwest Sound DJ Entertainment! Our DJ was great - a perfect mix of fun and respectful. We wanted music to be a little more low-key and she happily accommodated that for us. We asked our guests to recommend songs for us, and she happily played most of them. She even surprised the kids (and amusingly enough, all the adult women) by playing "Let it Go" from Frozen - every girl and woman at the wedding ran to the dance floor to sing and dramatically act out the song - it's one of my favorite dancing memories of the night! :)

Midwest Sound did an exceptional job for my wedding. They were a great price, easy to get a hold of, and knowledgeable about all the questions I had. They were accommodating to our needs, and made sure we had everything we needed for the day of.
The DJ they sent us, Jen, was INCREDIBLE. She knew how to keep the mood going on the dance floor, and followed our music requests perfectly. I could not have asked for a better DJ. We received an endless number of compliments from our guests about how much they enjoyed the music and atmosphere.
We could not be more pleased with our experience from Midwest Sound!

They answered all my questions before booking and did a great job following the music I had requested and not playing things that were on my do not play. Our DJ was Reed. He went with the flow when some things got behind scheduled. And, definitely kept people on the dance floor. It was really a great night!

During wedding planning, this was the only DJ service we had met with. We were impressed right away with their knowledge of our venue, as well as their services and pricing. Their online planning forms made it very easy to submit our music selections. Julie, our DJ, called us a week before the wedding to go through any details. They provided our ceremony music as well as reception music. Julie was very professional and fun. She checked in with us throughout the night to make sure our guests were enjoying themselves and the music. I would definitely recommend them!

Our experience was AMAZING with Midwest Sound. Throughout the whole wedding process, they were very professional & fast to respond to any emails or calls I had with questions. The week of the wedding our DJ reached out to us to confirm all of the wedding details. The day of she arrived early, set up and was ready to go before our ceremony. They were very responsive during the planning process, every email I sent was responded to within hours. Took the time to sit and answer any of our questions. Then the week of the wedding spoke to the DJ and we went through the whole reception. Michael knew exactly what we wanted and delivered everything we talked about!! We were so very pleased.

I can't say enough about how amazing this company was to work with throughout the planning process. Then, on top of that I paid $1300 for unlimited music, uplighting, monogram & slideshow equipment rental. That is a steal! If you're contemplating on using them, you should. You won't regret it!

Our DJ was very good. We used their online form to plan everything then went through it with the DJ (Alfonso) who was very flexible and professional. We had a great time and so did our guests. We would definitely book them again for an event. We got a great deal from a wedding show which I thought might be a red flag, like why are they so cheap!? Ended up being a great evening and Midwest Sound gave us a great showing.
