She’s the best!!!
Michelle is the best!!! She took time to get to know us and what we wanted from the experience. She has an eye for catching candid moments of joy and love. She also did a great job directing us since we are both camera shy haha! She is very organized and came up with a detailed schedule for photos throughout the wedding day. This was great because it helped with the flow, and made sure everything we wanted captured was fit into the schedule. The wedding pictures were beautiful and we appreciate her so much!

Wonderful experience!
We had a wonderful experience selecting Michelle as our wedding photographer. Having known nothing about wedding photography - Michelle helped educate us on the ins and outs and this helped us make some key decisions in our photography timeline. Michelle is a very professional and experienced photographer - which is only one of the reasons we hired her. She is also a joy to be around. My husband is not one for taking pictures, but Michelle made him feel so comfortable and that it was not a chore to take pictures, but more so fun! Her and her second shooter Lacy, captured amazing shots on our wedding day - we are so pleased with our photos - it made us relive our wedding day all over again! These photos will be cherished forever - thank you!

Michelle is a consummate professional and worth many times her rate. She is incredibly easy to get ahold of and really knows her paces when it comes to weddings. Her value isn't only in the pictures; her day-of planning advice months prior to the wedding day really saved us a lot of trouble given that we had no experience organizing or scheduling a wedding day ourselves. The pictures she took are absolutely phenomenal; they're perfect without looking overtly processed. Our wedding day was a blur, and so my wife and I are particularly grateful to Michelle and her second shooter for giving us the right pictures to help us remember the emotions of every little moment. Further, Michelle is also just a joy to meet and speak with. Highly recommend!

Michelle and Lacy were an absolute dream! Our wedding photos are stunning and every time I look at them I cry BIG happy tears! They are both so hilarious to be around and really put you at ease. Their professionalism is top notch. Our wedding was the definition of herding cats and I still months later cannot believe how amazing our photos are. Do yourself a favor and pick Michelle and Lacy. Michelle and her second shooter, Lacy, did an incredible job! Almost every photo looked like it should be the cover of a magazine! I was in awe looking at her pictures. She captured so many small moments and different details I wouldn't have thought of on my own. She helped cater a timeline special to me and was very flexible and understanding. She was a joy to work with, and really helped my day go by smoothly. I didn't have to worry about anything and I clearly didn't need to with her and Lacy taking photos! I would highly recommend her team to anyone!

Michelle did both our engagement and wedding photos. We could not have been happier with her as a photographer. She was flexible, thoughtful, efficient, and her skill as a photographer was incredible. She has the most calming and comforting demeaner and made everything very easy for us. The thing that I am most grateful for was that she caught moments that showed true emotions of whatever situation she captured. And finally, she got us our wedding photos exactly when she said, at our 1-month anniversary, which is something that I find very valuable. I could not recommend her more highly.

The best photographer hands down!
Michelle is no less than amazing in everyway. If you are someone like me and my husband we are incredibly uncomfortable in front of a camera. Michelle made the process easy and dare I say fun! Michelle and Lacy were amazing! From the planning to the execution, Michelle Valantine was there for it all. She helped my husband and I get a game plan for what pictures we wanted and what was most important about the day. Michelle and her 2nd shooter, Lacy, made sure to capture every special moment and every little happy glance. I am over the moon happy with the pictures and with the overall professionalism of Michelle and her team. Fantastic photographer
Michelle did an absolutely fantastic job with us for our wedding. Through multiple postponements due to COVID, she was always extremely flexible and understanding. We ended up having to have a tiny wedding, and the way she shot the images maintained the warmth and excitement of a much larger wedding. She does a great job of catching the candid moments of true expression which were the pictures I loved the most. She was very organized on the wedding day and worked around our wedding plan to make sure she got all the shots in she needed. She is very detailed with helping to make a wedding itinerary with you and caters to your preferences. She basically had a similar effect to a second wedding planner! Could not recommend her enough.

Amazing photos and a joy to work with!
Michelle and her mom are a great team and they truly listen to what the customer wants and they give suggestions for things they think will make your photos more memorable. They don't get offended if your ideas differ from theirs and they truly care that your day goes smoothly and that you are happy with the outcome. They take time to sit down and meet to go over all the details and they take extensive notes on any special or unique items you might want captured. The resulting photos were absolutely amazing and I can't imagine ever using anyone else to capture those special moments!

Absolutely fantastic!
Michelle was so fantastic in helping us outline the major events for our intimate, outdoor wedding. We knew we wanted to be married and we wanted the day captured but that was about all we knew the first time we spoke to Michelle. She was instrumental in helping us develop a plan and helped us identify the key ceremonial pieces we wanted captured.
We had to make some last minute changed at the wedding. Michelle & company were very easy going and flexible. She made sure we got all the poses and pictures we wanted. We got our pictures early this week-ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! Michelle was able to capture our day, our love, our personalities. She has an incredible talent for lighting and background and created images we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Absolutely loved Michelle's pictures and her professionalism. You would never know that our daughter got married during a pandemic. She took the time to shoot every shot, including our favorite with everyone in masks, and made the day so enjoyable for the Bride/Groom and the family members there. We are so happy we went with Michelle Valantine for our wedding! She was incredible to work with from planning, to shooting, to the finished pictures. While my husband and I are still waiting for our wedding photos (we've barely been married two weeks) the sneak peeks we've seen and the engagement photos shot for our by Michelle and her mother have been spectacular. Not only does Michelle have an amazing eye for photography, she and her mom are extremely expressible and helpful with every step of the wedding process. She thought of timeline concerns, recommended I purchase heel protectors to help keep me from sinking in grass at the park. I think the best recommendation she made was to get a picture with every table at our wedding, it was a great idea but there were SO many people I didn't even realize were at the wedding and because of her recommendation, I'm going to be able to have a photo with every single one of them. If you're looking for a photographer that will take your scattered vision and turn it into a beautiful reality.

Wonderful pictures, wonderful experience
Michelle did such a wonderful job! When you're planning a wedding from out of state, you want to hammer out all the details. Michelle talked with me at length during our consultation and she put so much care into a proposed timeline, and this was before I even booked her!
My fiance and I did get to meet with her and her mom (who is her second shooter) one time before the wedding. The four of us talked about what was most important to me and my fiance. Since we were having a lot of family and friends coming from out of town, we worked out which photos would be most important to capture.
We absolutely love the photos! The church where we were married doesn't always have the best lighting, but Michelle and her mom lit the space perfectly. They also used natural light to their advantage and we have a lot of beautiful outside shots of the day as well.
In addition to being very talented and artistic, Michelle and her mom also happen to be fun, lovely people that we were happy to have with us on the day. Can't recommend highly enough.

Michelle Valentine Photography was the best decision we made during our wedding planning! From the very first consultation with Michelle we could tell that she was very professional and had all of the skills to be able to run a successful business. I had never hired a photographer prior to my wedding and was not sure what was expected of me or what we wanted from a photographer, but Michelle made the process extremely easy. We went to our first consultation with no timeline for our wedding day and very uncertain about all of the details and left there with a plan and the confidence to be able to move forward with the rest of our wedding plans without having to stress about the photography. Michelle took the time to get to know both of us, what we like, where we met, and the people important to us. There was never a time when our expectations were not exceeded and our wedding day was a huge success. Choosing Michelle to capture our wedding day pictures was one of the best wedding decisions we made. Michelle and her second shooter and mother, Cherie, did an excellent job. They put time and effort into getting to know you before the big day so that you feel as if you are having your pictures taken by a friend. They are both so sweet, kind, and thoughtful. They do little things that make you feel so special and definitely go above and beyond what other photographers would do for their clients. The pictures are SO beautiful that I am having a hard time choosing which ones to frame and put up in our home. We could not have asked for better photographers. They capture images that are timeless and will leave you simply amazed.

Five stars honestly isn't enough! Michelle was the absolute best photographer!!! Not only does she take amazing pictures, but she is the absolute sweetest person. She paid so much attention to those little details that meant the world to me and were so important to my husband and I. She got our pictures to us when she said she would, which was honestly pretty quick, and sent us several sneak peeks beforehand. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great and affordable photographer!

My husband and I chose Michelle Valantine Photography based on the photos she has on her website, and she certainly delivered! Michelle was incredibly detailed in the year leading up to our wedding, had amazing ideas as we were planning, and was SUCH a joy to have on our wedding day (along with her sweet mom!). I cannot recommend Michelle Valantine Photography enough--you will be beyond thrilled with your pictures!

Michelle photographed our daughter’s wedding this Summer. From the initial meeting, to the wedding day, to the photo delivery, Michelle was a pure pleasure to work with. Michelle truly took to heart our daughter and her husband’s personality and style and captured the day in way that truly reflected who they are. Michelle is kind, patient and a true professional. It was a sweltering day but that did not impede any passion and energy in the least. The delivered photos were absolutely stunning. When my husband and I reviewed the gallery we laughed, we got a little teary-eyed and we experienced the day all over again; taking in some moments we didn’t get to witness ourselves, but then through Michelle’s beautifully artistic style. Her talent and eye for a distinctive photo is incredible. Michelle’s second photographer, Cherie, is equally as wonderful! We will not hesitate to contact Michelle again for future photography, whether it be for any celebration or family portraits.

We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer! Her and her mother are a joy to work with and what makes it better is that they are genuinely kind people. Not to mention her photography is beautiful! We loved having them, everything was organized, professional, and fun. They made everything very natural, unforced, and comfortable!! They were both very flexible and understanding even up to the day of our wedding. Their experience with weddings in general really help he flow of the day, and they both made it as stress free as could be. We didn’t have to worry about a thing with them. I would recommend Michelle Valantine photography 100 times over! Anyone who works with her is truly blessed. They are amazing!

Michelle and her mother were an incredible team. We had an issue with our bridal shoot location and she was very flexible on pushing the shoot back an hour. She made my husband and I comfortable in front of the camera during our wedding and was such a joy to have. So thank you so much for being a part of our special day. It was truly the best day of our lives and we loved every minute of it! Thank you for continuously working with us and helping us create personalized touches and capturing all of the unforgettable memories! The photos are STUNNING!

We were so thrilled when Michelle said she would be our photographer! She, along with her mom, had wonderful visions for our photo shoots. I cannot even express how absolutely beautiful our wedding pictures came out! Michelle is the best! She is an extremely talented and impressive photographer! It was so much fun for my fiancé (now husband) and me to work with her because she is extremely patient and understanding, and has a good eye for amazing shots. When taking photos, she knows how to direct people on how to pose and where they should stand, and how to work with natural lighting.

I can't say enough about how happy I was with Michelle! It was like having a good friend over to take our photos. We love Michelle Valantine Photography! Her photos are outstanding and she is an absolute pleasure to work with! When I was searching for an engagement and wedding photographer, I started to worry I wouldn't find one whose work I loved but also fit my price range. If you have ANY doubts at all who to choose for your wedding photographer, go with Michelle Valantine! Not even kidding, she's absolutely amazing and has an eye for everything and all poses/shots that will be absolutely beautiful. My baby sister was on a budget with her wedding and I was the EXTREMELY skeptical about her photographer until the first time I met her. She truly has such an amazing eye for everything beautiful and is so incredibly professional. It wasn't even my wedding, I even live in Minnesota, and me and my fiancee are trying to figure out the cost of getting her to come here for our wedding. You can't go wrong with her :)

Michelle did an amazing job. She is a wonderful photographer and half the time i forgot she was even there! So many pictures she captured i was thinking I didn't even notice or see her! She also made sure to capture the pictures that were the most important to me and throw in some of her own creative ideas. The first time we worked with Michelle was at our best friends wedding that both my husband and I were in. She not only has an eye for great candid shots, but is great with the big picture too! She's really is a blast to talk to and work with also. After working with her and seeing how wonderful her work turned out, my husband and I chose to have her shot our 5 year anniversary pictures. No surprise, they turned out amazing and we couldn't be happier with them! Bottom line is that Michelle is fantastic at what she does and is really professional but in a fun way! We're definitely going to use her again!

We worked with Michelle for both our engagement and wedding photos. She is wonderful to work with, really knows the best way to highlight individuals, and was SO FUNNY! She let us be ourselves during each shoot, could read us as a couple perfectly, and even dealt with our indecisiveness with an amazing grace.
Did I mention she'll be totally honest when you are giving her an unflattering angle, and will correct your posture to make sure you look AMAZING in your photos? SUCH a bonus for me smile emoticon
