Amazing photographer
Michelle is amazing at what she does! Both her and her husband are such bubbly and friendly people! They made us feel very comfortable on our wedding day and engagement photo shoot, even though my husband and I felt super awkward (because we hate photos). Photography that exceeded expectations
I would HIGHLY recommend Michelle! She is great. We had our wedding September 16, 2023 and she made everything run SO smoothly and the pictures came out absolutely beautiful. She is reliable, affordable, and sends sneak peaks out very fast. Michelle has done family photos for my family for 20+ years, my engagement photos, and now my wedding. There is no doubt in my mind that I will be using her again for continued family photos and recommend her to all my family and friends getting married :) All of her photos from the wedding captured the day so perfectly, that I will forever cherish :)

You Won’t Regret It!!!!
Let me just start with.. WOW!! We hired her for our wedding photographer and she did AMAZING. Not only did our photos turn out stunning, but everything about her presence with you is just so welcoming and fun. My husband and I were able to connect and laugh with her and also her partner so well it was like we knew them already. I was already nervous the day of my wedding and I was scared that’s how I was going to be during photos but they made us both laugh and smile the entire time, during the solo ones especially, that the pictures came out looking like candid photos just like I wanted. Trust me when I say you get what you pay for. Her company is TOTALLY worth it. She is also reasonably priced and has different photo package options to choose from so the pricing is very flexible. Thanks again Michelle!!

I found Michelle on Instagram and never looked back!
The quality, brightness, and vibrancy she brought to her pictures blew me away. I knew instantly that I wanted her to capture my wedding day. I split my celebration into two days, and she captured all our special moments and even suggested poses we didn't think of!
She went above and beyond and made my husband, and I feel comfortable (even though we were both shy). She captured all the details and helped make our day memorable.
We married on a Thursday and received our pictures the next day! My husband and I absolutely love EVERY SINGLE ONE.
We highly recommend her for your wedding or any event.

I truly can't say enough about Michelle.. over a year before our wedding, I spoke with Michelle over the phone and she instantly made me feel comfortable and excited to make her our photographer! She felt like a family member- she was so personable and truly cared about our vision, our family, every aspect of our day. We did an engagement session with Michelle a year before our wedding and she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera! She made us laugh and we just enjoyed our time completely. Fast forward to 2022, Michelle called us for an over an hour phone call to go over the entire day in detail- who we wanted photos with, our timeline, specifics that we absolutely needed as part of our day. Michelle doubled as a wedding planner. On our wedding day, she made sure we stayed on track and kept everything running smoothly! She went above and beyond on our wedding day and we couldn't have been happier. She is such a gem! Last but not least, the photos are spectacular. Five Stars Aren't Enough
Michelle was the first vendor we booked after deciding our venue and date, after talking with her for 10 minutes I knew we had to have her as part of our day. After booking her basically everything else fell into place. She has so much experience, and it's clear she cares about her business and her brides like they were her own. Our first meeting with her in person was to shoot our engagement photos, and she spent so much time getting to know us and what we wanted for our day. Two days before our wedding Michelle also shot family photos for my extended family. Again, she got to know all my siblings and nieces and nephews and felt like she was just part of the family.
Our wedding day was perfection - she arrived with her second shooter promptly and got to work on details. As a bride there is so much going on, I didn't know what the ceremony area looked like or if the centerpieces in the reception were right but Michelle captured everything and it's been so great getting to relive our day. She send a sneak peak within days of the wedding, and almost a month to the day she sent the full gallery. I am in awe of how wonderful everything looked and so impressed with Michelle.
I cannot wait to book her for every milestone in our lives for years to come.

My husband and I made the best decision choosing Michelle and Leanna to shoot our wedding. We met them during our engagement shoot and we knew that they were 100% the perfect photographers! The BEST choice!
I’m giving 100 stars! Michelle has been capturing my milestone moments since high school. Throughout each event/session Michelle always brings a smile and the best energy to get you excited and having fun! Every picture she takes becomes my favorite. I can’t thank her enough for helping me bring out the model in my now husband and actually getting him to smile. On top of that she was able to keep our large family and bridal party on track and that was no easy task! When you book Michelle not only will you get amazing photos you’ll get the most wonderful memory. I’m still trying to figure out how to hire her on a daily basis to start my day off with a hype session to make me feel as gorgeous and confident as she made me feel during all of our photo shoots.

Michelle photographed my kids in 1998 and returned 23 years later to photograph my daughter’s wedding. From the first phone call, I knew we had made the right decision. We needed someone that could take charge of our crazy, large family, but also someone who was creative and had an eye for the type of photos that we wanted. Incredible Overall Experience!!!
Wedding photography can be so tricky for someone who is not used to being photographed. I voiced this to Michelle prior and she went ABOVE and BEYOND to find the coolest location for us, take candid photos, and above all make us feel comfortable and in our element for our engagement photos. She also did an incredible job editing them and listened to the exact style and editing that I loved!! Could not have had a better result and personal experience! We loved having Michelle a part of not only our wedding day, but also our engagement photoshoot! She is genuine, so easy to get along with, makes everyone smile, and is SO fun to work with. Do you want amazing photos??? Then you need Michelle Johnson! She is an absolute bad ass behind the lens and she will make you feel gorgeous at the same time! She is incredibly sweet and talented but makes things happen!!!
She was our photographer for both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. Her engagement shoot was beyond words! My (then fiancé) is not a big photo guy but she pulled it out of him and made us both feel amazing which showed completely in the photos!!!

Flexible, Fun, and Fast!!
Michelle took our "micro-wedding" photos earlier this month and we could not be more pleased with them! She was wonderful to work with from start to finish, and extremely flexible through our many event changes due to covid. Michelle is just the right combination of fun while still making sure everybody was where they needed to be for the photos. Michelle and Mark were a pleasure to work with on our special day. They both took beautiful photos starting as early with our getting ready photos. Before leaving, she made sure that we took all the pictures with friends and family that we wanted to at our reception. Where to start! Mark, Michelle and Leanna were amazing in every way. They made the entire process fun and stress free. From our engagement shoot to the wedding day everything was perfect. They were always patient and kind, even on the chaotic wedding day. They always worked together great as a team and were very organized. First, let me say that giving Michelle and Mark 5 stars don't seem enough... they deserve 10!! Stop!! Look no further you will not find a better photographer than Michelle Johnson! She photographed my wedding on June 23rd, 2018. She and her husband Mark are so much fun to work with. The sneak peak pictures are amazing. There are pictures that I hadn't even thought of taking that capture the day so beautifully! The day goes by so quickly, but when you have such great pictures it just brings you right back to reliving the day!! Michelle and Mark were the photographers for our wedding in April, and there are not enough words to express how impressed I was by their work. Working with Michelle in the months before the wedding was fun and stress free. She is so creative with her ideas and was able to incorporate everything that my husband and I wanted. On the day of the wedding, Mark and Michelle were incredibly organized and kept to a schedule that allowed pictures to be taken of all of my guests and family, as well as all of the details and events. All of our pictures turned out beautifully. They were able to capture all of the joy and love throughout the day. Mark and Michelle are genuinely amazing and I would highly recommend them.

AMAZING!! My Husband and I could not be more pleased with Michelle & Mark! I was debating between 2 Photographers for my wedding at Strawberry Farms and once I spoke to Michelle over the phone I knew she was the one! They are the sweetest, funniest, most genuine people, and most importantly GREAT photographers. Michelle keeps you and your wedding party on track all day and is so easy to work with and be around. There are so many wonderful things that I have to say about Michelle and her husband Mark! They photographed our recent October wedding in Temecula and did SUCH an amazing job! Not only did the photographs come out beautifully, but they had a genuine smile on their faces the whole day and evening. Michelle and her husband truly enjoy what they do, and it was evident in how much fun they seemed to have while photographing our wedding day. They are both professional and genuinely good people. They made sure to capture all the photos that we wanted, and helped us to create photos that we didn't even know we needed! Neither my husband or I are used to being photographed often, but thankfully Michelle helped us to create some truly beautiful poses/photographs. It is a big task to capture such an important snap shot in a person's life, but Michelle and her husband seemed to do it without issue or reservation. I am looking forward to a time when we can utilize their services again!

Michelle and Mark are amazing!! I absolutely adore them both. Words can not begin to express how grateful my husband and I are for all they did. Aside from being two of the sweetest people we've ever met, their professionalism, and attention to detail, greatly exceeded our expectations. It's only been a week since our wedding and Michelle already emailed "sneak peak" photos - they are GORGEOUS! Michelle will, most definitely, be our family photographer from now on.

If I could give 7 stars I would. Michelle photographed a friend's wedding and when I saw the photos I knew i wanted her to do mine. Michelle and her husband Mark were everything you want in a photographer- they make you feel beautiful, were great dealing with family members and guests and take unreal photos! I loved just having Michelle there and didn't want to say goodbye. Her creativity and professionalism shine through in each of her photos. She captured everything I could have hoped for and her style is just perfect. She's a gem!

I had the privilege of working with Michelle for my wedding on June 8th at the stone house at Temecula Creek Inn. For our wedding, the vendor we worked with the most, and for the longest period of time, was our photographer. Because of this, we are so very happy we chose Michelle Johnson as our photographer because we got to spend all that time with such a hard-working and caring professional. She showed her level of dedication and care for her job, and the couples she works with, right away. As the wedding day came closer, Michelle was integral in helping us plan the timeline of the day. On the day of our wedding, Michelle was an absolute professional. She worked so well with her team and the videographer to ensure we stayed on time without sacrificing any shots. She kept us on schedule and directed us and the wedding party so perfectly. We got the full 1800 (yes, 1800) photos from the wedding day and we were just so ecstatic! My husband and I were so amazed by the quality of the photos, we couldn’t believe they were actually ours as they look like something from a magazine! Not only did we have so many photos to relive that day and treasure always, but the photos were just so beautiful and her eye is just phenomenal. We chose her in the beginning because her work was just so beautiful and exactly what we envisioned for our wedding photos. And she absolutely, 100% (and then some) delivered! We were so happy with our photos, we could not have been more thankful to her! She gave us our dream photos, and thus the best memories ever of a magical day that goes all too fast. Michelle was absolutely amazing! We were planning the wedding from out of state which can bring challenges, but Michelle was so warm that it felt like we had known her forever! She made things very comfortable on our wedding day, and made picture taking fun! She was also great with my large family, making sure we got all the shots we needed quickly and efficiently. Having Michelle Johnson Photography capture our special day (and our engagement photos) was one of the best decisions we made with regards to our wedding! She captured our day perfectly, and kept everything light and fun throughout the afternoon.
Michelle's ability to make everyone look natural and comfortable in front of the camera is TOP NOTCH. My husband is not a huge fan of taking photos, and he loved working with Michelle and her team.
Additionally, we used Michelle Johnson Photography for our old-fashioned photo booth, and our guests had a great time with it! They gave each guest a copy of their photo strip (which made a great favor), and gave us an album and a digital copy of all of the pics at the end of the event.
We will use Michelle Johnson Photography for all of our family photo needs. I wouldn't trust anyone else to capture these special moments!

Michelle is just the greatest photographer and we loved her!! First, I was from out of state and trying to schedule and plan everything and she was so sweet and accommodating. I also wanted to take pictures before my wedding, Pre-wedding romantics, and she hadn't done something like that before and just ROCKED it!! She took pictures of my fiancé (at the time) and I at the beach and brought her husband and daughter so I had a million pictures that are just amazing. Then she edited those and got all those back to me before my wedding the following week. At the wedding her and her daughter came and both photographed the big day so I had the most amazing pictures. She was so cute and nice and her daughter was so nice as well. She also had a surprise for me at the end of my wedding day and gave me a bunch of SUPER cute polaroids of my pictures at the beach and from my big day! She went above and beyond! I felt like we were best friends by the end of it all. I absolutely loved them and am recommending them to all my friends who are getting married in Southern California.

From the very first meeting, we knew we were in good hands. Michelle and Mark are fun and energetic, down to earth, kind, and professional. They took the time to really get to know us, to collaborate with us, and they had a genuine vested interest in making sure our concerns were addressed and we got all of the photos we wanted. After our initial meeting and engagement session, we knew photography was going to be the least of our worries on our special day.
We were so impressed with their ability to blend into the day, their efficiency to keep things on track, and ability to keep family/wedding party engaged. They interact so well with all of the other vendors, coordinators, and guests. To this day we get compliments not only on how amazing our wedding photos turned out but on how funny and warm-hearted our wedding photographers were.
Michelle and Mark’s talent is self-evident in the work they produce. They have an impeccable eye for capturing details and moments that are otherwise lost in the whirlwind of the day. I was recommended to Michelle by my coordinator Jackie Murphy of Weddings with Insight. By the end of our first meeting with Michelle, I knew that I wanted her to be our wedding photographer. I talked with Michelle for 2 hours which is quite long for a vendor interview, but it was GREAT! Michelle is so professional, yet warm and friendly. She responds quickly to texts and emails with any questions I had for her. What's great about this photography company is that it's a family business. Her husband Mark is her partner in crime, as well as her daughter (who I hear takes amazing photos); and I can't forget about her son who handles their photobooth for events. Michelle really does have an amazing team and family. Because of the tight budget I was on and the special recommendation from Jackie, Michelle contracted an amazing offer we could not refuse. It was everything I was looking for including engagement photos in The Bay with no travel fee charge. All I had to cover for them was flight and travel & food expenses around the city. It was a great deal I could not refuse.
The engagement shoot in San Francisco was so much fun! Michelle has this youthful energy that really comes out in her photos. At one point, we were shooting on Lombard Street, where the proposal happened, and Michelle gets into the plant and tree area and starts to shoot with her camera. It's so fun and refreshing to see a photographer in their element just shooting away and having a good time. It's really obvious that Michelle loves what she does. We all had an amazing photo shoot and it really came out in our photos.
It was such a pleasure to work with Michelle Johnson Photography. She even had our proofs ready just as we were settling in after our honeymoon. I couldn't have asked for a better photography company.

They made our day worry free especially considering Michelle was the person who picked up on the timing of our outdoor ceremony and letting me know we needed to change the time otherwise we would be in the dark. They made everyone feel very comfortable and let you know they were there when they needed to but otherwise took pictures while we enjoyed the party. By the end of our day they became friends instead of just our photographers.

Michelle is seriously a joy to work with before, during, and after the wedding. I feel so lucky to have found her since I had searched for months to find a good photographer with the style I liked, but also in my budget. Once I saw some of her pictures, I fell in love. Even better, when we met her, she is genuine, kindhearted, and creative! She is experienced, comes prepared, and is full of fun ideas. We had a blast with Michelle during our engagement session. And on our wedding day, Michelle and Mark were amazing. Michelle remembered all of my photo requests, taking control of the timing and of family/friends for pictures, and made us feel so comfortable. My pictures are everything I wanted and so much more. If you are in Orange County or the Inland Empire, you will be lucky to have Michelle capture your day! You can tell that Michelle really enjoys her job, and her happiness is contagious. She also really cares about her clients.
One more thing, we chose the package that includes the wedding album (engagement session and also some canvases). I have never seen a more beautiful, professional album. Also, we got so many pictures, and each one is gorgeous. There is no doubt with MJP that you will definitely get amazing photos!

Michelle Johnson Photography is a phenomenal wedding vendor. My husband and I had the privilege of having Michelle and Mark photograph our big day. For us, compatibility was a top priority when choosing our vendors. For our initial meeting, Michelle and Mark welcomed me into their home, showcased their portfolios, and made me feel at ease about the entire wedding preparation process. We meshed so well that we spent an entire 4 hours during our first consultation. I hired them on the spot!
On my wedding day, Michelle and Mark did an incredible job capturing the most intimate, candid and memorable shots a bride could ever ask for. Aside from their beautiful work, their professionalism is impeccable. They were punctual, extremely efficient, and above all SUPER FUN! My family and friends had an amazing time with Michelle and Mark. They're easy going, flexible, and so knowledgeable about their specialty. Honestly, they were the best decision I ever made for my wedding.
Most brides overlook the fact that they will be spending a large amount of their wedding day with their selected photographer. Make sure you choose one that fits your personality. You want to find a friend within the photographer you choose. For me, Michelle Johnson was it!

My husband and I were honored to have Team MJP and Morgan photographing our wedding. They truly take pride in all that they do. Michelle and Mark are a great team! They did our engagement and wedding photos and they all turned out fantastic! We have gotten so many compliments on our pictures and people asking who took them. Mark and his crew arrived early on our wedding day and captured very moment and detail from getting ready to the end of the night with everyone getting down on the dance floor. We had over 1,850 photos! Not one moment or angle was missed which is important to every bride. They are extremely professional, fun to work with and make the day very memorable. My husband hates taking pictures and they made it easy for him. He actually enjoyed taking the photos because they made him laugh and have a good time with it. I highly recommend them!

My engagement and wedding photos turned out amazing because of Michelle and Mark Johnson! My now husband and I are not the most photogenic people, but Mark and Michelle made us feel so confident and comfortable that each and every photo turned out outstanding. Mark did an especially wonderful job with my four year old daughter Kloee during the wedding. Those particular pictures are some of the most precious ones I have and I can never thank them enough. To me, the most important element of my wedding was my dress and the photographer. I knew how important pictures were after the wedding. I wanted someone who could capture the mood, setting, and overall feeling of the wedding. After all, after the event is all said and done, all you have to reflect on that day are memories and pictures.
After reading Michelle Johnson's blog and seeing the quality of her work, I knew I needed to book fast. Michelle Johnson Photography, as a team, was amazing. They communicated with me before, during, and after the whole wedding process. I knew what to expect because Michelle emailed me ahead of time with a plan, which I greatly appreciated!
On my wedding day, I felt completely relaxed knowing that MJP had a schedule and a plan they were following. The three MJP associates made me feel very comfortable because of their professionalism, work ethic, and friendliness. They made the whole picture experience very fun and enjoyable. The best part about MJP is that Michelle had my edited photos ready for me almost immediately. No sitting and waiting for months like some other companies. I had my photos ready before our first month anniversary.
I highly recommend Michelle Johnson Photography. My only advice to brides is to book them fast and do not hesitate! If you book with MJP, you are guaranteed great friendly service, and a beautiful collection of photos of your wedding day, that you can look back on and cherish forever.

Michelle and her team were great to work with on the day of our wedding. Michelle was very easy to get in contact with and replied quickly to emails leading up to the wedding day. I am not super comfortable in front of a camera but Michelle did a good job making me feel relaxed and comfortable, she also provided lots of helpful instructions about where to stand, where to look, etc. During the ceremony and reception Michelle got great pictures while managing to blend into the background. Our pictures came out beautifully and were proofed and received much faster than I expected. If I need a photographer again, I would contact Michelle in a heartbeat!

She made us feel comfortable and really captured our love. When we got the pictures from the engagement shoot we couldn't believe how amazing they were and could not wait for the Wedding! The Wedding pictures were BEAUTIFUL! Her ability to capture the mood of the event & and make the bride/Groom, Bridal Party & guests look so beautiful is impressive. It was a hot day and you would have never know, by the way the pictures turned out! Michelle is able to organized with a calm demeanor and gets great shots. As everyone knows, weddings can be a stressful day, and Michelle and her staff really made the day stress-free, not to mention, she has a great sense of humor which makes things a lot of fun! Where do I begin? Michelle Johnson Photography besides taking AMAZING pictures. Michelle is such a sweet,loving,clam and caring person. We had our engagement and wedding pictures done by Michelle and her husband Mark. They make you feel like you have known them forever. We had never done a photo shoot before and they made us feel so calm and relaxed. Michelle really loves what she does and puts 100% of herself and her heart into each couple that she works with. On my wedding day we had a few bumps in the road. I forgot my veil but Michelle stayed calm and made sure not to upset me on my big day. Michelle is simply an amazing & talented photographer! She did both our engagement and wedding photos and we were blown alway by the finished product! Could not be more please.
