Beautiful photos even better photographer!

We can't say enough good things about our experience with Michelle! Michelle captured our day perfectly and also was there to answer any questions beforehand and during. Above all, Michelle cared about us as a couple, did whatever she could to ensure the day went smoothly and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Michelle is just a wonderful person we were so lucky to have her as such a big part of our day and would HIGHLY recommend her services!

Amazing pictures from an amazing person

When I first starting talking to Michelle a year prior to my wedding I instantly felt comfortable with her. She was so easy to talk to and I knew I wanted someone like that with me all day photographing my wedding. Her work was beautiful and I couldn’t wait for her to photograph my husband and I on the biggest day of our lives. She eased my stresses over the year as our wedding got closer and I truly appreciated that. Not being able to have our families at our wedding was hard, but Michelle made sure they had the best pictures possible so they could relive the moment and feel like they were there with us on that day. Thank you Michelle for being there for us and for capturing the best day of our lives! We are so thankful for you!

Perfection

I cannot say enough good about Michelle. I am in the military and was new to the area when planning my wedding and Michelle was beyond kind and helpful. I knew the minute I saw her portfolio that I just had to have her as our photographer and I feel so blessed that she agreed to capture our day. Truthfully, though, she felt more like family than a photographer. Our wedding day was stressful (as most are) and not only did she take the most beautiful pictures, but she helped make sure things ran smoothly and she kept me calm. For that, Michelle was invaluable. The pictures Michelle took were technically gorgeous - a variety of black and white photos, vibrant colors, interesting lighting techniques...she can do it all. We even took some in front of a multicolored mural in downtown Buffalo on our way to the reception (those are my favorite). Michelle knows of a myriad of amazing spots that I believe would fulfill any brides desires. Pictures are the most important aspect of a wedding day and I will be forever grateful that Michelle took ours.

Unbelievable!!!

Michelle was absolutely amazing! My now husband and I had our original photographer cancel on us 4 months before our wedding and I was in a sheer panic! We set up a meeting with Michelle and from the moment I met her I knew I wanted her to shoot our wedding. Any question I had and every email I sent was promptly responded to and I never had a question go unanswered. The day of our wedding was unbelievable! It really does go by so fast and you can barely think. Michelle was sure to capture every moment for us and there was not a memory she missed. When we received our final photos my husband and I were blown away! Beautiful quality and amazing shots. She is the most personable vendor we met with and I felt she truly understood what the day meant for us! Would give her a higher rating if I could!

We knew she was THE one from the start ...*

We met Michelle at a wedding fair in Rochester last September and before even talking to her, we fell in love with the authenticity transpiring from her pictures... we were looking for a small wedding, pretty much cozy, bohemian and romantic and we felt she would have the perfect touch to capture our wedding.
WE ARE SO HAPPY we talked to her that day. As soon as we started explaining our project and how we were envisioning our wedding, things immediately clicked. She is just such a beautiful person, we just felt a lot of emotions right that moment and i can only tell we both felt immediately comfortable with her.. She is organized, available, talented (but there was not even a doubt there), and she did not hesitate to recommend a slight adjustment to the schedule to make sure we would catch the sunset.. (by 15mn only, we would have missed it... so TRUST her.. :)). We had a cold outside photoshoot in November but i will never any regrets about it !
What she captured of our wedding felt in a sense very "raw" when it comes to the emotions from the pictures but so subtle altogether that it feels to me like one of our best friend would have taken all those shots, as they are so real, and so intimate..
We will never forgot how lucky we were to have her by our side. Thank you Michelle.

From the initial contact via email, Michelle was very genuine and truly wanted to know us as a couple, to be able to capture our memories perfect to us. She did exactly that! Gorgeous photos!!

Michelle's photos are so creative and just plain beautiful! I was so happy with our engagement and wedding photos. The time and effort she took to get the right shot showed her love for what she does.

I'd definitely recommend her to friends, especially those with a artistic/creative flair.

My wife and I hired Michelle for our engagement & wedding photos and we could not be happier. Literally all of our photos are gorgeous. We hired Michelle to start shooting in the morning with us getting ready through the end of our reception, and when all was said and done, Michelle gave us over 2,000 photos of our wedding. From start to finish, all of the biggest moments were captured and they're gorgeous. Her photographs were both classic and modern, not only did she capture the standard wedding photos, but she used a lot of cool techniques and angles to get some really cool shots. I cannot recommend Michelle highly enough, not only is she a great photographer, but she's awesome person too. If you're debating going with Michelle, you should stop debating and book her, you won't be disappointed.

Wow. Where do I start to express my gratitude and and to explain the expertise Michelle has in photography. Anyone's wedding day is truly one of their favorite days and it goes by incredibly fast. Looking at our wedding photos allowed us to relive every moment because each moment was captured perfectly. We could hear the music from our first dance, the speeches, our vows, the laughs from the crowd and the band playing again. The details captured of my dress, his tux and the special things at the wedding and ceremony that made the wedding personalized and us is captured so artistically that it belongs in a magazine. The day was absolutely captured perfectly. It brought us back to that special day.

The posed pictures and portraits are out of this world amazing. Each one belongs displayed proudly on a wall. The portraits are stunning and natural. It doesn't look forced and again captures amazing moments. Yet, she captures the true beauty and personality of each person!

Each picture you see you think is your favorite and you look at the next and get over joyed because it's better than the last.

She is an amazing photographer but she is an even better person. She is wonderful with the families she works with. She makes people feel at ease and truly produces stunning pictures. Her eye for where to take them, the lighting and the angle is truly a gift and an art.

You would be hard pressed to get more for your money or find a better photographer. Michelle is the best of the best!

Michelle was amazing! I was so nervous but she makes the whole experience so comfortable. Our reception went until midnight and she was there to the very end. I can't say enough good things. Just look at her work, it says it all.

Michelle is absolutely amazing! From our first session with our engagement pictures I knew she was a perfect fit! She has an amazing artistic eye that shines through in every single one of our pictures. Michelle truly goes above and beyond. It poured on our wedding day so we had limited options of places to take pictures. Michelle was able to get us into an indoor venue last minute and I couldn't be happier with how our pictures turned out. She even stood out in the rain snapping shots of us. Michelle made our day so special and I cant thank her enough. Our pictures are beautiful and I can't wait to work with her again!

Where do I start? I can't say enough good things about Michelle! From the second we met with her we knew she was the one we had to have her capture our wedding day. There are not enough wonderful things to say about Michelle. From the moment we met her we felt absolutely comfortable and at ease. She is extremely easy to work with, always goes with the moment, and is extremely professional. Everything she does is for you, about you, and with you in mind. We absolutely loved working with Michelle for our wedding photography! We live out of state from where the wedding was held and were super pleased with her flexibility. She was able to accommodate all of our needs and made the entire process stress free. The wedding day went off without hitch too. We had numerous guests comment during and after the big day on how talented Michelle is, and we agree! Our photos are amazing! We highly recommend taking her advice and doing an end-of-night shot. Michelle was a perfect match for us on our wedding day and her beautiful work will continue to bring us joy in the years to come! We 100% recommend her to any future bride and groom.

Personality. Michelle clearly loves her job, especially the opportunity to make a personal connection with her clients. We felt comfortable during every shoot and we loved how genuinely happy she was to be working with us. Michelle is kind, knowledgeable and confident working around the hectic wedding schedule, taking extra care to capture every expected (and unexpected!) shot.

Creativity. Michelle has a keen eye for the best lighting to complement any shot, especially for outdoor photography. We really liked her wide angle style that incorporates the natural surroundings. The beauty of our outdoor country wedding came to life in her photos. We chose Michelle in part because her photos were the most memorable during our search.

Price. Michelle sets a reasonable price range for the services she offers. We were able to purchase an all-inclusive package (engagement shoot/ceremony and reception/albums/personal digital copy/etc.) and add a second professional photographer for our wedding day without going over budget. Other photographers we found charged more for less.

We found it's best to call Michelle to get in touch with her quickly.

Working with Michelle was a wonderful experience. Her passion for what she does showed from the start when she weathered the cold and snow of January to get some awesome engagement photos with us. Michelle was amazing. We got along great and she was very easy to be around. When we received our pictures we were very happy with the outcome. She is especially great at capturing candid moments that turned out to be some of my favorite pictures. I spent a lot of time researching photographers and learned that you get what you pay for and Michelle was worth it. On our wedding day, there were times I was so busy and my mind was all over the place, that I couldn't tell you how certain things went or were set up. Michelle captured it all and allowed me to re-live the day and reminded me what a beautiful day it was. Thanks Michelle!

We haven't been able to stop saying THANK YOU to Michelle!

We found Michelle through a friend who also used her at their wedding, and we were so happy to have her out our day. We explained to her the things that we did and didn't want to do and she took it from there.

So calm and easy to work with, a definite plus when you're pulling together a wedding. One of the best things I can say about Michelle is that there were moments I almost forgot she was there - because she was getting the shots, but at the same time she was blending in with the guests and capturing things from the guests experience.

I knew Michelle from college, but after college life took us in different directions and I moved from Buffalo NY to Northern VA. I followed the growth of Michelle's business through social media and her photography blog. I was always impressed by her photos and creativity. As I was planning my own wedding, I asked Michelle (on a whim) if she was willing to travel to VA. I was beyond thrilled when she was open to traveling to capture my wedding. Michelle and I communicated easily via email for planning. Since we were in VA, I appreciated that we were able to submit payments electronically. I had complete trust in her the entire time. She's extremely easy to work with.

On the day of my wedding, Michelle arrived on time and immediately went to work. She was inspired by our wedding venue and captured so many great shots of the details, preparations and venue. As a DIY bride, I quite appreciated her attention to detail. While working with our family and friends, Michelle was super patient, positive and provided great direction.

Our wedding pictures are beyond stunning!! Michelle has such a knack for capturing moments and emotions. She doesn't miss a thing. I really cannot say enough about her talent and professionalism. This is a photographer you want with you on your wedding day!! I would recommend Michelle Day Photography without hesitation for any wedding or life event.

Michelle was amazing for both of our engagement pictures and wedding pictures. You can tell this is her true passion! She made us feel relaxed and calm the whole day and despite some challenging situations with the destinations we choose she helped us figure it out.Our pictures truly showed the emotion and happiness of our wedding day and now I have beautiful pictures to look back on and I will always cherish that. To put it simply, Michelle is AWESOME! From the first time we spoke, it was clear that she is passionate about her craft as well as her clients. As an out-of-town bride, she made planning a breeze through video calls, phone calls and emails. When it came to the big day, Michelle was very laid-back and go-with-the-flow (despite the day being a bit hectic), yet still completely professional with a plan in hand! Once we got to taking our group shots, Michelle was in the zone: climbing through fields, over fences and getting on the ground (all while pregnant, mind you!) to get the perfect shot. She was totally game, and I was totally impressed. Ultimately, I cannot say enough good things about Michelle as both a photographer and as a person, and I am so happy we decided to book her for our big day.

Michelle was an amazing asset to our wedding day! She worked around our crazy schedule to have an amazing engagement session. Our photos from our first shoot went so well we quickly booked her for our wedding day! She made us feel so comfortable which helped us get the exact shots we were hopping for. I wish I could give a better rating because 5/5 just doesn't do Michelle Day justice!! She loves everything about her job and it shows! She made me feel like I was her number one priority. From the first day I met Michelle, I knew that she was the right choice for our June 2014 wedding. I was planning our wedding from out-of-state so I needed someone that shared the same vision as I did, and also someone who was very easy to communicate with. Choosing a wedding photographer was also especially important to me as I also work in the photography industry and knew this would be one of my hardest decisions in planning our wedding. I am thrilled that we chose Michelle -- she's a true professional and her great personality is a bonus. Michelle Day was my wedding photographer and I could not have been more pleased. She was very professional and personable. She made my husband and I feel at ease in front of the camera, and was very efficient at getting all the pictures we wanted. She is not afraid to do whatever it takes to get the perfect picture, although most of the time I didn't even notice she was there! I highly recommend Michelle. I absolutely love every one of my wedding pictures and have received so many complements on them.

Michelle had brilliant ideas so my husband and I could capture our engaged life. She provided insight on locations and picture perfect poses, to the way our surroundings could be used to enhance our love story. Through her meticulous photography her ability to develop our story through the images truly displayed the unique love story my husband and I have.

Michelle is amazing at what she does. We had her do family portraits with my husband and our very active toddler. She was patient, laid back, and fun to work with. Our pictures turned out just how we wanted- natural and beautiful. She has an eye for detail and knows just where to shoot to capture the best lighting and the most flattering angles for her subjects. I would recommend Michelle for any event!

Michelle Day was my wedding photographer and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience from her. She was very creative and helpful planning before the big day and during. Michelle is incredibly patient, personable, and kind! Her online tools make planning very easy. She went out of her way traveling from Buffalo to meet with me before our wedding in Rochester, and then followed up by phone a week ahead of our date to make sure everyone was on the same page. She managed some family tensions with ease. She has a great eye for neat shots, but will also listen to your ideas and keep your style in mind. Highly recommended!

My husband and I booked Michelle for our wedding based on reviews from others and based on the style of photography we were looking for. Michelle not only met our expectations, but she exceeded them - every single photograph from our wedding (and there were over 1,000) so perfectly captured every moment in such an artistic and tasteful way. Her style is so modern, and she really has an amazing eye for every shot - each picture told a story, our story. We are so grateful that we had chosen her to capture our special day. Aside from her talent with photography, Michelle is an amazingly sweet person who is willing to go above and beyond for your wedding. She was professional, punctual, affordable, and was so easy to get along with. We would highly recommend her to anyone with an upcoming wedding!

*One more side note - we are getting TONS of compliments on the work Michelle did for our wedding; our family and friends adore her work....Truly amazing!

Working with Michelle was so amazing. From the first meeting, my husband and I knew she was a great fit. Her personality was just very laid back, easy going and fun. She was very easy to get in contact with and always available to answer questions. She was very accommodating with our schedules and working to fulfill our needs. On my wedding day she was great to work with, even calming things when tensions got a little high in the bridal party. The quality of her work is amazing, the way she captures special little moments is stunning. She was a pleasure to work with, I would recommend her to all of my family and friends and I personally cannot wait to have another reason to work with her again. She was worth every penny!

My husband and I used Michelle Day photography for our engagement pictures and wedding day! I'm so glad we used her for the engagement pictures it made me so much more comfortable for the wedding day after I saw how great the pictures turned out! So sweet and understanding and such a wonderful photographer!

Michelle was so wonderful to work with! My husband and I were so comfortable with her and she gave great direction when we weren’t sure what we should be doing. She made both our engagement and wedding photo shoots so much fun and stress free! And the photos were exactly what we were hoping for! Wedding Photography

I would hands down recommend Michelle Day Photography to anyone looking for a photographer in the Western New York area. Michelle’s work is absolutely beautiful. The moments she captured along with her keen eye for lighting is extremely high quality. Michelle felt like another member of our family on our big day. She was easy going but in control when needed. Michelle made sure we knew what was going on and that she honored our preferences, however we also trusted and depended on her to make decisions, which definitely paid off. We are extremely happy with our wedding collection and will cherish it for years to come.

Michelle was amazing! We did only our engagment photos with her seeing as we were having an actual destination wedding. I had a vision in my head of the type of photos I wanted and props I wanted to incorporate. Having no experience with this type of thing, we relied on Michelle for direction and expertise and she totally delivered! We felt comfortable with her and our "poses" only after a few short seconds. She was always available to get a hold of and extremely friendly and willing to answer any questions we had about ordering/downloading prints. She was very patient with us. The editing she did to the photos were unbelievable. I would highly recommend her to other couples.

We had Michelle as our wedding photographer and she was fantastic! She showed up on time throughout the whole day and was very professional. We had her and a second photographer present and they were ready with their cameras throughout the whole event. They made the day so much fun and made everyone feel very comfortable while taking pictures. You can see Michelle's passion for photography during her sessions and in her finished product. Excellent photos. I received so many compliments from friends and family on how unique and beautiful our wedding photos were. You can tell that a lot of thought and detail went into each photo.
