We had DJ Devin (from Michael Luna’s company) for our wedding and he was awesome to work with. Super friendly, accommodating, and easy to communicate with leading up to the event. Everything the day of went off without a hitch — Devin was super professional and executed everything perfectly.
Once the party started, he absolutely killed it. His remixes and transitions were so smooth, and we had multiple guests comment in the moment about how good the music was. If you want a DJ who knows how to keep the energy up and the dance floor packed, Devin’s your guy. -

We hired Micheal's Music for our wedding and were very happy with everything they did to make the evening a success. We worked with them to bring in up-lighting and accent lights which were reasonably priced and really brought the right ambience to the space. The music was well balanced, sounded great and timing was excellent. -

We hired Michael to DJ and Emcee our wedding reception on December 3rd, 2022, and we cannot be happier with how it went!
Throughout the planning process Michael quickly responded to any of our questions and requests with straightforward answers and suggestions. We incorporated a ton of Michael’s ideas into our final planning! We selected most of our music ourselves, but asked Michael to fill in some gaps- such as selecting “soft jazz” to play during dinner- and he did great. Michael has a custom website to make music selections- I will say the website could be a bit clunky to use at times, but it got the job done.
On the day of the wedding Michael was a consummate professional, executing the game plan to perfection. One particular success to highlight was a surprise choreographed dance by the groom and wedding party- Michael worked with me to select the music and plan when and how the dance would happen while keeping the whole thing a surprise from the bride!
Michael also provided uplighting for our venue and a photobooth rental. There were many limitations to where uplighting could realistically be placed in the venue, but Michael made it work and the lighting really added to the ambiance. And the photobooth was 100% worth the extra budget- the photobooth staff did an excellent job and it was a hit among the guests. Michael was very accommodating in customizing our template for the photobooth, and provided some excellent props!
If you are looking for an Emcee/DJ who is easy to work with, provides great suggestions and feedback, and executes your plan on the day without you having to worry or intervene at all- Michael is your guy. -

The music set the tone for our 9/3/2022 wedding!
Music was very important on our wedding day. From the welcome music, entrance songs, cocktail hour to the reception everything was perfect and just how we wanted it. We had the best Music! Michael was GREAT! Showed up on time, was professional, and even took requests in the middle of the reception. We also had him bring the photo booth which was a hit. We highly recommend Michael and his team! -

We hired Michael for our September wedding in Petaluma, and he did not disappoint! We had booked him in 2019 and after a decision to change the date, he was very accommodating and was able to book our new date. He provided amazing documents with top songs for inspiration. His online music selection platform was easy to use, and he was available for questions via email/phone when needed. We were able to get a good read from him on the multiple phone calls we had to touch base pre-wedding day. One of our priorities for the wedding was for the dancing and party to be memorable. The dance floor was busy all night and Michael was quick to fade music or take requests from guests! -

Michael was an absolute joy to work with on our wedding day. We were excited to work with him as he'd worked our venue before and understood the space. He was able to maneuver multiple setups throughout the venue, recorded all of our ceremony and speeches and was extremely thorough and professional in managing the entire evening flawlessly. Michael was greatly helpful in ensuring the guests knew where to move throughout the evening and our guests didn't want the dancing to stop at the end of the night thanks to his selections! We can't recommend working with Michael highly enough, he was an absolute joy! -

We hired Michael's Music through our venue, Hans Fahden. Michael and his team were really easy to work with. The music was great, our guests really enjoyed the reception and had a great time. He listened to our likes and dislikes and really nailed the music selection. He has an online system that you can create playlists in advance as well. They also offer upgrades like lighting packages and photo booths which was which was convenient. The up-lighting in the cave was worth every penny. Our guests couldn't top talking about how magical it was. As a nice little touch he recorded our vows and our toasts so that we have them forever. It's clear that he has the wedding thing down, so if you are looking for a DJ that knows how to architect a seamless reception and a really fun time, I highly recommend hiring Michael's Music for your wedding reception or event. -

Michael as the DJ and his lighting team were amazing! He had a vast selection of music for people to dance to. Really had great suggestions for song recommendations as my husband and I were very indecisive about a lot of things. He kept people on the dance floor and made the entire evening memorable. He also does lighting as well which makes for a great environment. Michael is very responsive and we would definitely work with him again in the future. Thanks again to Michael and his team for being a part of our special night. -

Your search for the best wedding DJ in the area is over. From the start, Michael was professional, responsive and wonderful to work with. Michael was also very helpful in giving direction to some of our music choices. When I say that he is the best wedding DJ, I truly mean it. He had our guests out on the dance floor all night long. I received several compliments from guests about his music choice, his ability to read the room and his professionalism. Michael also did a fantastic job at our ceremony. His sound system worked great in an outdoor setting and he set us up with lapel mics, so we didn't have to hold anything (which made my husband and I both much less nervous!)
I would hire Michael again in a heartbeat for any event I was hosting and have already recommended him to several friends getting married. -

Michael was the perfect DJ! He was so polite and professional, but also knows how to keep the party going! My guests were THRILLED with the music selection and his ability to sense the energy of the crowd. So many of my guests said they couldn't leave the dance floor! My bridal party danced so much they were sore the next morning! Everything you would want when you hire a DJ for your wedding. I could not recommend him enough. -

Michael was incredibly easy to work with and very professional, from the initial discussions and planning to the minute he finished at our wedding.
-Was very responsive throughout the process.
-He walked through every aspect of our wedding day with us, and gave some helpful tips and advice.
-Recorded our ceremony, vows, toasts, etc for us, which was a wonderful extra!
-Nailed every mic and sound set-up, announcement, and detail the day of.
-Was able to take our few last minute requests into account very easily.
In general, Michael, provided us a high-quality wedding DJ experience, and peace of mind on our big day.

What an incredible experience! Michael and his team were absolutely fabulous to work with for our wedding. We got married at Hans Fahden in Calistoga, CA and decided at the last minute that we wanted to add up lighting and a photo booth and they were able to accommodate it and handled all of the contracts with speed and professionalism. He also went above and beyond by recording speeches, taking photos from the DJ booth, and recommending songs that he thought would fit the mood and theme of some of the milestones of the wedding. I would absolutely recommend working with him if you want a seamless, worry-free, thoughtful , and additive experience for your wedding! -

He answered our emails promptly and worked with us to form a perfect playlist for the day. From the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the incredible dance party, we were all blown away by how fantastic he made the day!! Two months before our wedding, the venue cancelled on us and Michael was so accommodating to make our new venue work, he even reached out to us after the wedding venue cancellation to offer a few suggestions of where we could move our wedding.
During the ceremony, Michael was able to put a mic on my husband so that we didn't have to hold anything while we read our vows. He was able to not only have a music set up at the top of our ceremony hill but was also able to set up music at the cocktail hour so that as soon as guests walked down the hill they were greeted by not only drinks but wonderful, indie style music. He was so professional and did a wonderful job with announcements during the entire wedding. We loved being able to use his DJ Intelligence platform to request songs we wanted, record the timeline for the day, and announcements we needed him to make. Michael did such a great job picking songs we didn't have on our playlist to go with the dance party we had!
One of our favorite things he did was record our ceremony and toasts. This is such a neat and special thing to have, the day went by so fast and while we were trying to stay present it was hard to remember everything so the recordings will be so nice to listen to in order to remind ourselves of the incredible day we had!! He also took pictures and a video, which was so wonderful! He sent all of this the day after our wedding so we could relive the events with our family while they were still in town! Overall, Michael was just such a wonderful DJ and we HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend him! Thank you Michael for an amazing day! -

When my now Hubby and I decided to get married in the area where we lived, we were scared because we didn't know any vendors in the area. Michael was recommended to me by his sister (I know, I know, but trust me.) We initially set up a phone call and Michael sent over all the paperwork as well as information on his services. We ended up going with DJ and photobooth and we are so glad we went with him as a vendor! We both come from 2 very large Mexican families and when we decided on only a DJ, the pressure was on. Michael was very supportive and very understanding. His online system is so easy to use and is really helpful, especially when it was just the hubby and I - no coordinator! With the help of his system, we had a request list, where we enlisted the help of our family to ensure a little of everything was played; we had access to an event timeline that asked about things we hadn't even thought of; and at our in person meetings, Michael was able to provide his option based on his expertiese.
There was an unexpected loss on my hubby's side of the family 2 weeks before the wedding which caused most of his family to not attend. This definitely led to some last minute changes to the schedule and Michael was so pleasant and flexible - any other DJ might have been easily frustrated but not Michael!
We also used their photobooth services - everyone is STILL raving about the photobooth! Great quality set up, amazing accessories and overall, the added touch to make the wedding that much more fun!
If we had to do it all over again, we would definitely chose Michael - no questions asked! -

Lauren Sent on 07/13/2016I was initially unsure about hiring a DJ, knowing that a bad one can ruin a wedding. However, the staff at our venue (Paradise Ridge) raved about Michael before we hired him, and were happy to hear that we selected him for our DJ. His pricing is extremely competitive - less than half of what other DJs in the area quoted us. He also included the cost of handling the music and microphones for our ceremony in his pricing. He can also provide lighting services and a photobooth for an extra charge (we didn't use those). We used him in conjunction with his wife, Sue Luna, who acted as our wedding coordinator for the day (also at a very reasonable rate). Both of them work at Paradise Ridge frequently enough that I fully trusted they could handle anything that came up during the day.
Michael was helpful ahead of time, giving helpful advice about song selections. We provided him with a list of songs we wanted to hear, and he utilized the list perfectly. He easily rolled with the punches when I told him a song I had originally placed on our "do not play" list could be played at the request of one of our small nieces. Many of my guests told me that the music was perfect and that they had never had so much fun or danced so much at a wedding. We're so grateful that Michael was there!
