Michaela did our engagement shoot & wedding day photos, and the overall experience was amazing. We were most worried about looking too posey, but she had great tips to help us get comfortable and the resulting photos are beautiful. Excellent communication and professionalism, as well as a timeline that integrated with what we had planned for seamlessly. -

A photographer is worth a thousand words!
I had the pleasure of seeing Michaela’s talent when my best friend, Aimee Fleming, got married in May 2024. After looking through her album, I knew she found the perfect photographer to capture her and the candid moments of her beautiful day. This persuaded me to look into Michaela’s photos and packages after getting engaged in August later that year. I loved Michaela’s style and reached out to her to schedule an engagement session-the best decision! We both immediately liked her and how comfortable she made us feel. For two people never professionally photographed, we felt so natural and perfectly represented as a couple (even in the cold temps of October). We were so lucky she was open to shoot our wedding day the following September, we had to snag her! Not only are our engagement and wedding photos some of the most stunning photos I have with my husband and families, but they are everything I envisioned and more. Her communication leading up to our day was insightful and supportive without being overbearing; she helped fill and arrange the gaps in our timeline without making us feel foolish. She understood every request and captured details I worried about having a picture of since I hadn’t remembered to bring it up. She remembered and captured everything. She is an expert yet approachable, the comedic relief when needed, and a professional dress train-fixer. We got many compliments on the vendors we chose, as most couples do, but the compliment we got the most hands-down was how stunning all of our photos are. Make sure she is available for your special day, trust us!!

We had the BEST experience working Michaela, our wedding photographer! She did our engagement photos and wedding photos. From the very beginning, her communication was amazing—she responded quickly, clearly, and made the entire process feel effortless. She’s not only professional but also genuinely funny and easy to connect with, which helped us feel completely relaxed in front of the camera.
Her pricing is extremely affordable, especially considering the level of quality and care she puts into her work. She truly goes above and beyond—she even hopped on a ski lift just to capture the cutest shot for us! It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to getting the perfect photo. We also received our engagement and wedding photos back sooner than we thought!
We couldn’t be happier with our experience and the beautiful photos we received. I was looking for a very light and airy type feel and she definitely delivered! We loved our natural, light unstaged photos! Highly, highly recommend her, and we’ll definitely be using her again for future family photos! Perfect photographer for a perfect day!
We are so grateful we chose Michaela as our wedding photographer! She was absolutely wonderful and made our entire day feel perfect. From the beginning, she truly listened to our ideas, and not only incorporated them, but was genuinely excited about them. Her enthusiasm made us feel so comfortable and understood. Something you don’t realize until your wedding day is that your photographers are the people you end up spending the most time with, and we honestly loved spending the day with her. She’s fun, upbeat, calm, and so incredibly helpful/knowledgeable. She kept the day flowing smoothly and made everything feel natural and easy. Our photos turned out beautifully, and we were shocked (in the best way!) at how quickly we received our full gallery. Her prices were reasonable and her process was straightforward and easy, she was very flexible with times for phone call meetings and for our engagement shoot and she was always very professional and organized. We couldn’t be happier with our entire experience. If you’re considering Michaela, do it. You’ll be so glad you did! :) -

A Fantastic Photographer Find
Michaela was a wonderful photographer! She told us exactly how to pose when we didn’t have inspiration! She worked with us to make the photos bring out our authentic selves! When I did have inspiration pictures, she absolutely nailed them!! She is very personal and patient. We would absolutely book her again! You’d be silly not to book with her for your special events! -

The best photographer we could have asked for !!
Michaela was seriously one of the best parts about our wedding day. Quick and organized, she made our photo-taking so easy. Everyone felt at ease and she was so focused on making sure our wedding went exactly how we wanted it to. The moment we met her for our engagement photos we knew she was the photographer for us. From helping me with ideas to decorate my new house to texting with me daily leading up to the wedding putting me at ease, she was so much more than just a wedding photographer. Will definitely be using her for future photo shoots !!!! -

We were trying to get married in 6 months and needed a photographer fast. Here stepped in Michaela Anna Photography. We emailed her on a Sunday asking for her availability. We did not expect a reply for at least a couple days, but she responded to us later than evening! The other photographers we had reached out to were much less responsive, which made Michaela’s responsiveness stand out even more! This responsiveness and promptness continued throughout our time with Michaela that had us feeling informed, secure, and cared for. We had a lengthy list of questions for Michaela as well as we started working with her, but she answered each one promptly and in such detail that we instantly felt great confidence in her abilities. The follow up meetings bolstered this perception as our zoom meetings with her were very organized and we could tell she took good notes. Michaela had a preset approach to get the conversation going which gave us insight into how she conducted her work, and she adjusted and shaped it to meet our expectations and things we wanted out of a photoshoot. Included in our package with Michaela was an engagement shoot. This was the first time we had spent any lengthy time in front of a camera so focused on us, but Michaela made the whole experience fun and light with her personality which made the process feel like a collaboration with a good friend, shedding us of the awkwardness and uncertainty. All the while, she consistently demonstrated her professionalism with creative and varied positions for the photoshoots that had us looking our best and highlighting our personalities.
Michaela was even more amazing on the actual wedding day which had a steeper list of demands than even the engagement shoot. A second shooter (Aponi) worked with the groom while Michaela worked with the bride. Between the two, they captured beautiful and special getting-ready pictures, first-touch pictures, detail photos of the attire and rings—everything for us to remember and look back on for years to come.
On this day, we had a long and detailed list of pictures we wanted which we did supply to Michaela ahead of time. A series of pictures were to be captured at the church where we were married, with more to follow at the reception venue about 15 minutes down the road. It required wrangling and coordinating photos with 30+ family members. But Michaela was undaunted. She worked efficiently to capture all the family portraits we had detailed for her in the list to be captured at the church. Michaela always kept things moving along and checked in with us at regular intervals, both to make sure we were good on time and to make sure we were getting what we asked for. The same efficiency, care, and professionalism continued at the reception venue where we took pictures outside during cocktail hour. Michaela followed us throughout the rest of the day, capturing our grand entrance, speeches, cake cutting, first dances, and more!
Furthermore, there was a quick turnaround time on receiving photos from Michaela. Pictures from the engagement shoot (approximately 70 photos) were provided 10 days afterward, and the wedding photos (approximately 800 photos) were provided in just under 6 weeks. We were very pleased with the quality and timeliness of her final product.
We highly recommend Michaela for your photography needs, and we plan to contract her again in the future.

My husband and I cannot recommend Michaela enough! Michaela was especially great about suggesting shots and poses she knew would be the most flattering while still accommodating our ideas and preferences. We were also very impressed by the seamless way she moved through the ceremony and reception, capturing every special moment without us even noticing. We elected to do an engagement photoshoot with her as well, and highly recommend doing that to make the wedding day feel more natural. We really appreciated Michaela’s flexibility as we scheduled the engagement shoot as bad weather canceled our plans more than once. The pictures from both the engagement shoot and the wedding day turned out amazing and we are so happy with Michaela’s work! Overall, Michaela was extremely professional, communicative, fun, and went the extra mile to make our day as smooth as possible! -

Happiest Day of Our Lives!
Michaela is an amazing photographer! She eased our awkwardness and helped organize people the day of our wedding. She took beautiful photos that we will treasure forever! There was also an engagement shoot included in our package, and upon meeting her we thought instantly she was warm, welcoming and kind. She knew exactly how to direct us even though we've never had professional photos done before. She was extremely flexible and went over our game plan multiple times which put us at ease. She was willing to go wherever we needed. We cannot say enough good things about her photography, but the photos speak for themselves! Thank you for helping us capture our day forever! -

Wonderful photographer all around - 10/10 would recommend
I cannot recommend Michaela enough! She is a talented photographer and really captures your special day in a beautiful way. Both my husband and I are not generally comfortable in front of the camera, but Michaela was wonderful at helping us be ourselves and the photos came out so nice. I was looking for a photographer very last minute and within a decently tight budget. Michaela was able to not only get back to me very fast but also offer an exceptional service at an afordable price! She was so good with the little ones at my wedding and was also very good about wrangling a group of people all at once.
