Michael was a fantastic photographer! He photographed my whole family of 12, including our infant daughter flawlessly. He was warm, friendly, and accommodating. My husband and I got married last September... Mike took our engagement photos and captured our wedding. He is literally the best! He is so easy to work with, has GREAT ideas and is tall so he gets the best angles ;) his time mangement skills are great!! Not only did we get our photos back super quick, he was able to deal with my crazy family and get all the photos we wanted! On one of the most important day of your life I promise you will not have to worry about your photographer. we are blessed to have Michael in our weeding in hotel del coronado, his experiance make us comfortable during the day specially he was very cooperative with our wedding planner saberin and our video camera during the day. Full disclosure: We selected our wedding date based on Michael's availability.
He photographed two of my good friend's weddings and their photos were so incredible that we had to have him as well. We couldn't be happier with our choice. His laid-back style and fun personality managed to convert my once picture hating fiancé into my photo loving husband.
My husband even said he wished that Michael could've joined us on our honeymoon so we could have gorgeous pictures from our trip. From someone who used to despise having his picture taken, this was the highest praise ever.
The only problem we have had is deciding which photos to frame and hang up in our house because they are ALL so good.

We LOVED working with Michael! We chose him as our photographer because of his amazing pictures (of course), but also how comfortable he made us feel-we felt like we were working with a friend. I actually tend to shy away from pictures, and as a bride, obviously that was going to be an issue. Michael made me feel at ease taking pictures and made the experience fun! He really went the extra distance to make my husband and I happy and even stayed after hours to take sparkler shots. All of our pictures were sent/uploaded quickly and the images took our breath away. My family has high expectations when it comes to photography and the compliments keep rolling in on how impressed they are with the quality of the photos. He really captured the moment and created some fun bridal party photos. I can't say enough good things about him. I would HIGHLY recommend using this company!!!We LOVED working with Michael! My wife and I were just looking through the photos and realized that beyond the great photos, we really enjoyed having Michael and his crew at the wedding. They very very inconspicuous, easy to work with and in general brought a very nice vibe to their work. The photos were of course excellent. Michael Svoboda Photography is hands down THE BEST in San Diego and Southern California! My husband and I met Michael in 2011; at the time, we had planned to elope in an intimate ceremony and asked if Michael would not just be our photographer, but our witness too (just the three of us). The moment he said YES marked the beginning of a very special relationship and a lifetime of amazing memories and photos. Michael has since shot our 2nd wedding in 2012, my maternity session, our son's newborn photos, and numerous family photo sessions. Aside from that, we also booked him for Corporate Outings and Events.
For those of you that haven't met Mike, he's a 6'7, charismatic, high energy, and genuinely happy guy that would do anything to make sure you were completely happy with your shoot. He creates relationships with all of his clients, spending time talking through styled shots, creative concepts, and much more. Not only is brilliantly creative, but he has the ability to capture those moments that you can't stage or recreate.
I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for. Quality is everything to me, and Michael gives you that. Not only will you have the best experience, but you will have the best photos to share with family and friends.
