Michael was so wonderful to work with from the start! Throughout the planning process, he was available whenever necessary. He helped create the timeline for our day and everything could not have run more smoothly. And of course, the pictures are so beautiful! He took a perfect combination of portraits, candids, and detail shots. The photos truly capture how happy my husband and I were throughout the day and I am so happy we can relive our day through these photos for years to come. He brought a second shooter and an assistant with him, and they were just as great!! One even helped me with a dress emergency when taking photos at my parent’s house (Thanks Briana!!!!!) I would highly recommend him and his team if you want beautiful photos and to be laughing all day long! -

Mike is the bomb
Mike was incredible from the moment we met him. We first met him at a friend’s wedding in Cabo (they flew him out!), and even before we were engaged, we knew he was our photographer. He’s thorough, fair, and runs the day perfectly without being overbearing. He got every shot we wanted and more and he’s hilarious on top of it. Mike is the best. If you need a photographer, he’s your guy. -

1000 out of 10!
We hired Michael as a solo photographer and he was 1000/10 amazing! He is basically a wedding planner and photographer in one, on our first meeting he laid out the whole day for us before we even booked him. It's amazing how quick he works and how high quality the photos we got were. He was very accomodating when it came to budget and a payment plan which we really appreciate. He took so many great candids and made me and my family laugh all day! Highly recommend Michael!! -

Michael photographed our wedding in September of 2025, and it was the best decision we made of our wedding day! We did an engagement shoot ahead of time on one of the hottest days of the year and somehow, Michael took flawless photos. Our wedding album is full of shots that caught every emotion of the day. The best part about working with Michael?! He is so much fun to be around and puts everyone at ease. His artistry has given us memories to last a lifetime. Look no further for your wedding photographer! -

Michael is the best! He was so easy to work with from initial inquiry through photos being delivered and made our wedding and lead-up perfect. He listens to what you'd like and then makes it happen. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Mike, his second photographer Gabby, and his assistant Mike (who so thoughtfully fluffed out my huge train the whole morning). My husband and I loved how fun and easy he was to work with. I think the best way to describe him is that he takes his work very seriously while not taking himself too seriously. My husband and I were looking to have fun on our day, and Mike had the perfect vibe for that. He kept the mood light and respected and supported us throughout the day. Leading up to the wedding, he was so great with creating our timeline, explaining how the day would go, and also making sure that he knew our special request shot list. One thing I really appreciate in hindsight is that I was never sick of taking pictures. We got all the pictures we wanted to take while also fully enjoying our day and not feeling like pictures were monopolizing our time. The work he and his team did for us was outstanding, and we'll cherish our pictures for the rest of our lives! -

Mike and his team did a phenomenal job photographing our wedding. Mike was so friendly and professional throughout the entire wedding planning process. He went above and beyond from the start and was so knowledgeable on all things Long Island wedding-he even helped connect us with the perfect DJ for our event! Michael and Hunter were absolutely phenomenal! My favorite part about working with Michael and Hunter was that they listened to our vision. We preferred to have more candid shots than posed photos because we were on a tight timeline. Hunter got so many insane action shots. His flexibility and understanding of our vision helped make our wedding the most perfect day! -

So talented and so much fun!
I've been meaning to do this for weeks but I just have to share how amazing our shoot was with Michael John Photography 😍
My fiancé and I were both so nervous about feeling awkward or uncomfortable in front of the camera, but Mike had us laughing and at ease from the first shots. (Seriously, he's hysterical!) We asked him to shoot a location he'd never been to before, so I thought I'd need to scope out some spots or be more proactive to make it successful, but Mike took the reigns and found all the PERFECT spots! We had such a specific vision for what we wanted and he truly made it happen!
I know we're going to have so much fun on our wedding day hanging with him! ♥️ -

They fit our vibe and our bridal party vibe PERFECTLY! They are funny, engaging, energetic, professional, cool, and just overall a bunch of really awesome dudes. Mike was a blast to work with: so responsive, helpful, and a really great human being. Our engagement shoot was easy, and he really listened to what we wanted. Mike and his team also did wonders for our wedding, highlighting the beautiful scenery around us, efficiently gathering family members for group photos, all the while sharing lots good humor and cheer. He captured many great candids, and even got creative with my nephew's bubble gun. Mike was able to create the perfect balance between elegance and fun, and I highly, highly recommend him! -

Highly recommend! Wonderful experience!
I had such a great experience with Michael. He was great at communicating and his vast knowledge helped me a lot with planning out my wedding day. He has a great upbeat personality and makes you feel so comfortable but also can blend into the background. He was so great with my kids and even met with us at my house a month before the wedding to get the kids comfortable and familiarized. He also did a mini family shoot for us that day complimentary. He was truly a pleasure to work with and I’m in love with the photos he captured on my wedding day. He also brought a 2nd photographer which did an excellent job as well. If you’re thinking of booking him, run!!! -

Great Wedding Photographer!
I am so happy with our decision to hire Mike (& his assistant Hunter) as our photographers for our wedding day! They were so much fun to spend the day with, VERY easy to communicate with leading up to the day, and reasonably priced. He was the most responsive vendor I worked with and he always got back to me within a couple of hours. I am so happy with how my photos turned out! They came back within 2 months and I got a sneak peak within a week! I would definitely recommend Mike to any other brides looking to have someone who is easy to work with, so personable and accommodating and reasonably priced! -

Mike was so wonderful to work with! He was so efficient in getting all of the shots we wanted while also allowing us plenty of time to enjoy time with our guests. The way he was able to remember who was who and everyones role in the day was beyond impressive and shows he cares about his couples and their family/ friends! He made our day so memorable and enjoyable and I really can't thank him enough! 1000/10 recommend! -

Amazing photographer!
Michael was the perfect photographer for our wedding! He did our engagement shoot as well! He knew all the ins and outs of all the venues we took pictures at and by the end of our wedding night was like part of our family! Our pictures came out absolutely beautiful! He made sure to make a list of my ‘must have’ photos and important people/groups we wanted pictures with during our reception. Time goes by so fast so it was great that he made sure to tell me it’s time for your important photo list! I got my pictures back fast and sneak peeks right away! He is so knowledgeable that I felt like I had my own personal wedding coordinator the entire day! I would recommend Michael to any bride looking for an amazing photographer without those big studio prices!!! -
