We had our wedding in November 2023 and Michael was absolutely amazing! We went into this not knowing a thing and he helped us through the entire process. We are both awkward when it comes to being in front of a camera but Michael made us feel comfortable and beautiful/handsome. The pictures are stunning and we would hire him again in a heartbeat! -

Michael was exactly the person we wanted for our June wedding! His style is organic, beautiful, and timeless. We had so much fun with him! Michael took his time to get to know us and our own style; he made us feel perfectly comfortable with the camera (helpful with a camera shy husband). I love our photos so much, I still look at them every day. Michael's strength is sincerity, both in who he is as a person and the how he captured our day! -

The best there is!
Michael was the best photographer we could have asked for for our wedding last year. Not only did he work tirelessly on photo plans and our day-of timeline, the pictures he took for both our engagement session and wedding were incredible. He made sure our day stayed on track and was an integral part of helping me keep a level head on our important day. Not only was he an advocate for myself and my husband, he was even prepared with tide-to-go and a safety pin when we needed it. I’m so glad we chose him to capture our wedding, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a kind and professional photographer. -

Highly Recommend
Michael and his assistant photographer were absolutely AMAZING and the photos are simply INCREDIBLE. Michael is a super chill down to earth guy who leaps into quiet action when there is a photo opportunity. Our wedding day photos (and rehearsal!) will be cherished forever. He also took family/friends formals that are incredibly beautiful and mean so much to us. We interviewed many photographers and we are so glad we went to Michael. He is outstanding. -

Michael Fisher was absolutely wonderful to work with. We knew from the moment we met him we would book him. He was so professional and helpful throughout the entire experience. He guided us to ensure we had beautiful and lasting memories for our big day! He was prompt and very thorough, came to the venue the day before to plan head and gave us his recommendations on where things should be setup based on the time of day and where the sun would be. Things that we would never have thought of, he was right on top of it! He was a huge part of making our Wedding day unforgettable. Michael took so many pictures and he even stayed a bit later than original planned in order to get some additional pictures as the sun was going down. I highly recommend Michael and will be definitely booking him again for any other big event in our future! -

Professional and valuable
Michael was a pleasure to work with from day one. Our initial meeting with Michael wasn’t a sales pitch but was more listening and a conversation. He listened to what we wanted our day to be and worked with us throughout the process. We had to change our wedding to a small backyard ceremony with no reception due to covid and he really helped us through that. Michael was creative with his photos and was up for anything-even a boat ride! He captured our day with a beautiful style and photos that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Michael was fantastic! My husband and I had to plan a wedding last minute due to the pandemic, and Michael was quick, flexible, and very professional. The day was less stressful due to Michael's planning and ideas. Also, he made us at ease during the whole day, and was flexible was our schedule was changed. The photos also turned out beautifully! We cannot thank him enough for making our special day even better, and we will cherish his photos for our lifetime. We highly recommend. -

It's hard to squeeze in all the reasons why Michael is amazing in a few sentences and so this review will be long:
Right through the wedding planning process my fiance and i were very clear that we wanted the pictures to tell the true story of how fun our wedding would be. We Skyped with quite a few photographers and zeroed in on Michael and one other. The other photographer seemed very professional but to me felt like was trying to sell hard. Michael has a cool, relaxing, friendly demeanor about him - which i felt was important the day of the wedding. We Skyped with him the first time and then met with him once in the run up to the wedding. He guided us and helped create a wedding timeline to get things in place.
We are from out of town and the wedding was in Rochester, so we went back and forth a lot on emails.
Michael offered to switch up the engagement shoot for a traditional ceremony we were having the day before the wedding and i cannot be more THANKFUL for that. He didn't have to but he did and i think that was very sweet of him. The pictures are amazing and he took so many of them. It was on that day i realized Michael's love and passion for photography and why he is one of the best ones around. He really did an amazing job and since this was the day before the wedding we were already getting comfortable with his style.
We are still in the process of receiving all our wedding photos - it's been a little over a month and Michael has already put some batches of pictures up. With every batch that gets uploaded our smiles get wider. Our families loved Michael too and are loving the pictures.
Everything went smooth the day of. The compositions of the pictures through getting ready, ceremony, formals inside the church, Cobbs Hill so far have all turned out great.
My dad noticed that at the end of the wedding reception, Michael was all wrapped up and ready to leave when he noticed someone doing something that he thought was capture worthy. He unpacked all his gear at lightning speed and started clicking away again. He could have easily walked away since technically he had fulfilled his obligation but he stayed for a bit more.
So, Michael is truly one of the best - if not the best photographer in the Rochester area who is reasonably priced if you compare with other wedding photographers but will provide you with the top notch service that you're looking for.Michael Fisher Photography's reply:

Alesha Sent on 08/28/2018We had Michael and his assistant photograph our wedding a few weeks ago, and we could not be happier. Michael was extremely easy to work with and provided exactly enough direction without feeling intrusive. He is very knowledgeable about lighting and positioning, and it really shows in his photos. He was easy to get in contact with, and very organized. He was extremely flexible and was great at just going with the flow of the wedding. Many of the guests enjoyed his presence as well. His rates are so reasonable, and in my opinion, he could easily charge more for the quality of work that he produces. Less than 2 weeks after the wedding, I already have my first batch of formal photos, which we are so incredibly pleased with. I can't wait to see the rest! If you have the opportunity to hire Michael as your wedding photographer, DO IT! You absolutely won't regret it.

We had the pleasure of working with Michael for our engagement and wedding photos. He was there with us every step of the way. Michael put us at ease on the day of our wedding, and the pictures turned out amazing! His style was exactly what we were looking for. He was able to make us get out of our heads and feel comfortable during the photographs, and it shows in the photos. We couldn’t say enough wonderful things about Michael and his work. We chose Michael to be our wedding photographer and could not have made a better decision. We picked him for quality of his work. We are particular fans of his photojournalistic style, making the photos feel natural and unforced. What we found on the day itself is that Michael was an absolute joy to be around. He exudes professionalism, showing up early to scout locations and going above and beyond to shoot so many of the little moments that we were too busy to notice ourselves. He was part of our day without for a single moment giving us the feeling that he was intruding, yet when reviewing the photo it is as if he was everywhere at the same time.

Maryellen Sent on 09/07/2018Michael is an amazing photographer and person to work with! Before the wedding he was extremely patient, willing to answer any questions and alleviate any concerns. He makes you feel like no question is stupid to ask. He spoke on the phone whenever I had any questions at all; and was very present throughout the whole process. We worked together and I felt like I knew what I could expect from him. During the wedding he was very pleasant and a great presence. He was open to direction; but the magic lies in his ability to capture the precious, raw moments! So many photos made me laugh and cry, as they were moments I want to relive over and over, or they are things I missed during the wedding that he filled in for me with his photos. The photos are stunning! There’s hundreds that I absolutely love. I’m so happy I chose him as my photographer and I now have amazing photos to look at for the rest of my life. Michael is also just a very genuine, kind and caring person!! He’s awesome and I couldn’t recommend him enough.
His assistant was also amazing!!! -
