We searched many bakeries before we found Michael Anthony's cakes. His designs and cakes were stunning, so we arranged to meet with him and taste his cakes. I am over 75 years old and I have never, ever tasted a cake as moist, and melt in your mouth as was ahis creation. We made up our mind right then and there that we wanted one of the cakes he had as sample. The Wedding was on April 4th, yesterday at the time of this writing, and he delivered it right on time and the guests raved about it. There was none left when it was all over. It was a smashing success. We found Michael to be one of the nicest people we have ever met, and will always consider him a friend. If you need a cake for a special occaision this is the man to ask to create it. You won't ever regret it, I know we won't. We will always be indebted to him for the fantastic creation he made for our special Day. Thank you and God Bless you Michael. -

Absolutely amazing wedding cake
From the very beginning of our wedding planning , Michael has been helpful, friendly and professional. Better than imagined
The cake was delicious and disappeared faster than we could blin, not a single piece left! It truly stole the show, and all our guests were raving about the flavors. We chose Satin Sheets and 24 Karat Cake, and wow, what a combination.
Anthony is incredibly talented. He captured a fun, personal detail with our two Frenchies—the two of them eating the cake in the back were so perfectly replicated, we couldn't believe how realistic they looked.
Working with Anthony was effortless and enjoyable. He’s professional, easygoing, and truly cares about delivering a X-factor cake for your event. We’re already looking forward to booking him for our future occasions.

We are absolutely thrilled that we selected Michael Anthony's as the baker for our wedding on January 24th, 2025. Working with Michael has been an absolute delight; he truly went above and beyond to make our special day unforgettable. After our initial tasting, we instantly knew he was the perfect choice. Not only was the cake tasting an exquisite experience, with flavors that danced on our palates, but Michael's thoughtfulness shone through when he printed out inspiration photos for our wedding cake, allowing us to visualize our dream dessert.
I can hardly wait to share more beautiful pictures of these stunning creations once we receive them from our wedding photographer. The desserts were a resounding hit—our guests couldn't stop raving about them throughout the night!
Our elegant wedding cake was a decadent Buerre Noisette with a luscious apple filling that was simply heavenly. In addition, we delighted our guests with an array of mini cake flavors that included rich red velvet, whimsical Sunbathing Monkey, scrumptious 24 Karat, indulgent Moonshine Chocolate, and delightful biscotti and latte served in charming edible espresso cups. To top it all off, we had delightful extras like mouthwatering s'more pops, zesty key lime tarts, and delectable Cinnabon bread pudding. Each dessert was a little masterpiece that left our guests – and us – craving more! -

Best Baker
PHENOMENAL. Just perfect. We had 50 guests and 80 servings and no cake left over, that’s how good the cake was.
We had 3 dozen cannolis, 3 dozen chocolate covered strawberries and 4 dozen carrot cakes.
The cake was 3 tiers. Top tier was Oreo, middle tier was limoncello, and the bottom tier was Frangipane. This was the best cake I have ever eaten at ANY wedding, and I wasn’t the only one that thought so since multiple people had more than 1 piece of cake. If you order from Michael Anthony, you need more servings than guests. Your guests WILL have more than the expected serving
The cannolis and strawberries were also gone by the end of the night.
We only had carrot cake left over which was still so delicious. Our guests were just full from the other sweets. The appearance was exactly like the picture we showed Michael, if not better. He has great attention to detail, and great communication. We will use him for ALL our cake needs!
This cake is the most talked about from our wedding. -

Michael Anthony is a treasure that God blessed us with on our wedding day in March of 2010! He is now a part of all our greatest milestones for my whole family. His cakes and all baked goods are out of this world AMAZING!! I am gluten free and moist is difficult to come back with that dietary need but he nails it!! Not only is Michael Anthony incredible and talented, he is an AMAZING human, so caring and patient and passionate about his beautiful career and he puts the talents that God has blessed him with to the max! All of my best friends have also booked him for their weddings along with my MANY brides that I have introduced him to. You are making a HUGE mistake if you don’t chose a Michael Anthony cakes!!!! -

3 tier wedding cake
Michael did our 3 tier wedding cake last September. Flavors were spot on and super moist! It was so perfectly done and he was always extremely communicative to make sure our cake was everything we could want for our big day! The tasting was also very helpful! We had three different flavors all were delicious but my favorite had to be the moonshine chocolate! -

An absolutely flawless experience, from start to finish!
My fiance (now wife) joked leading up to our wedding that the thing she was most excited for was the wedding cake. Well, our wedding cake turned out to be one of our absolute favorite things about the entire day! Michael absolutely nailed it, down to the very last detail. Not only was it beautifully done, but it was delicious as well. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how much they loved the cake. My wife has severe food allergies to nuts and dairy, and Michael went above and beyond to make sure the cake was not only safe for her, but still every bit as delicious. He did such a wonderful job that we have gotten other cakes from him for other events, and they are just as wonderful every time. I cannot recommend Michael Anthony enough! He was incredibly professional, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. If you want the wedding cake of your dreams - you've come to the right place. -

Incredible Wedding Cake Vendor
My wedding cake was a dream! I requested for it to be made vegan to accommodate to every one of my guests, and people were shocked that it was actually vegan when they tasted it! We got the Boston cream (our favorite) and Persian love cake. The cake tasting was incredible as well- Michael Anthony was incredibly hospitable and provided a memorable tasting experience for my fiancé and I. I highly recommend him for any event! -

My wife and I read some reviews about Michael Anthony Cakes and wanted to come and do a tasting. The tasting absolutely blew us away. Michael Anthony is very professionall first of all and also the quality of the cake was absolutely superb. He is a master of his craft. Michael did a fantastic job creating the cake of our dreams! It not only looked fantastic but it tasted great as well! We went through way too many meetings and taste tests with various bakers around town but he was the only one we found that made great tasting cakes and could also bring to life our unique design! Everyone raved about our cake and by the next day there wasn't a drop left. He was also able to make mini gluten free cakes for my guests who couldn't partake in our main cake and they said it was the best tasting dessert they ever had and they felt so special to have a separate dessert made just for them! -

I am so grateful to have found Michael Anthony Cakes! From the start, Michael was extremely communicative and detailed, responding to my inquiry same day. He made sure he understood my requests and answered all of my questions. Michael created a beautiful 2-tiered main cake and smash cake for my son's 1st birthday party this month, which had a nautical theme. I simply provided a photo of the design I wanted and Michael far exceeded my expectations. Michael offers a delightful variety of cake flavors and fillings to select from. For the main cake, I decided on a vanilla bean cake with lemon curd and fresh strawberries. Oh my gosh, it was phenomenal! I could taste every flavor, which melted in my mouth - the cake extremely moist. All of our family and friends are still raving about this cake, and I recommend Michael Anthony Cakes each time! I cannot wait for our next party. Michael, thank you for helping us create a beautiful and memorable day for our little one! -

Amazing vegan options
He was very professional and polite during our meeting. He helped us with the design of the cake and he even gave us a GF cake for my mother in law since she's is allergic to it.

Michael Anthony made us the literal best wedding cake!! I'm a great baker and I know what a good and quality cake is. When I tell you that this man is IT he is the real deal!!! Our guest RAVED about his cake, and the layout/decore of the table was more than I could ask for. He will truly be our only cake artist (he's truly an artist of his craft) for any and all of our family events. I had 6 different flavors for my wedding (3 for the cakes and 3 for the mini cakes). This man is truly a genius when it comes to creating flavor profiles and getting the cake to the ideal texture. His cakes are full of flavor, moist, and you'll get that perfect bite everytime!! We sampled many cakes and his by far beat the competition everytime!!! Don't hesitate, but RUN to book him!!! Also he's a super great guy!! We found Michael Anthony Cakes through an online search, and were intrigued by all the amazing reviews. After checking out the flavor list and the rest of his website, we were basically salivating at the thought of having one of these cakes for our wedding. With just over a month left till our wedding (due to the pandemic) we reached out to Michael Anthony. He replied very promptly, and got us scheduled for a cake tasting, and even accommodated an extra request. The cakes were amazing, but the Satin Sheets flavor combo was BEYOND amazing... We booked him to do our cake, and he maintained great communication, explained exactly what would be expected, and even made suggestions to make the cake delivery process the most efficient one possible. The cake was gorgeous, just like the picture we provided, but MOST IMPORTANTLY EVERYONE RAVED ABOUT HOW GOOD IT TASTED. I’ve had several family members demand to know where the cake came from, and I’m pretty sure a cousin who is getting married next is planning to book him based off how delicious OUR cake was. We ordered a lot more cake than we needed (I thought we would have ~120 people, but we ended up with less than 80) and that cake is ENTIRELY GONE. It was THAT good!!! Coworkers are sad I couldn’t bring them any the next week 😅. We saved a piece to keep for ourselves, and even a week later that piece was still moist, not dry, and still amazingly delicious. I am not a “cake person” (but my new hubby is) and I am already looking for excuses to get our next Michael Anthony Cake. So... Michael is exceptional and one of the best vendors we came to contact with. He was recommended by Lora from Overeasy Events and when she shared his Instagram with me I can see why. His cakes and desserts are beautiful! Michael is professional, extremely talented, and very easy to reach. From booking the tasting to planning our wedding cake, I never had to worry about the "what if's" because he is so great at what he does. If there are any questions, he is always open and will not hesitate to reach out to make sure our visions are aligned. He has an amazing list of flavors to choose from and is able to customize the perfect cake based on your preferences. I've had a lot of cakes that look beautiful but the taste is either overwhelmingly sweet or dry. Michael's cakes are different and they literally taste as good as they look! Our beautiful wedding cake had both satin sheets and marble which we ultimately fell in love with during the tasting. The best part about finding Michael is that it doesn't just stop at the wedding, we look forward to hiring him for all our future milestone cakes! -

Professional, responsive and amazing quality and taste!
After learning that many venues today offer faux cakes, I was on a mission to find a spectacular cake! For me, the cake is a centerpiece of the wedding reception and who doesn't love cake?! I combed the internet and came across Michael Anthony's site. His flavors and style intrigued us so we reached out for a tasting. We picked three flavors and all three were amazing! Our style and taste ultimately landed on his Beurre Noisette. I wanted cascading roses down the cake and I was thrilled when he said he enjoyed making roses. The entire process with Michael was first-class - he was professional, responsive and delivered not only a spectacular wedding cake but a cake that tasted absolutely amazing! Confession ... tonight I pulled the top cake from our freezer and am thawing to enjoy it this week. I did cut a slice and put back in the freezer for our one year anniversary! :) -

Fabulous Wedding Cake
Michael Anthony Cakes created the most scrumptious cake for my daughter’s small wedding. It was layer upon layer of red velvet decadence. The hand crafted, sugar spun blossoms on the top were exquisite. Our guests just raved about how delicious and beautiful the cake was. Wow! Where do I begin? From the moment we met Michael Anthony we felt welcomed and cared for. Our tasting was fantastic and the flavors were to die for! When my husband heard he made moonshine infused cupcakes, he knew we had to have some at our wedding. We had a small cake with a ton of cupcakes varying in flavor and his cupcakes were a HUGE hit with our guests!!! Even guests who wouldn’t normally eat sugar or gluten, ate TWO of them! Our cake was gorgeous and was the most delicious cake we’ve ever had. We got so many compliments on our desserts and the number one question of the night was, “who made your cupcakes??” Seriously, go with Michael Anthony. He’s incredibly talented and you’ll amaze your guests! -

Amazing 10/10
Michael Anthony is truly wonderful. He, himself is kind and gentle and goes above and beyond to make sure he alters cake flavors so that it is everything your heart desires - not that his cakes need any changes. The cakes are TO DIE FOR! No fondant - all buttercream goodness! The cake is so moist it will not ever get stale. We had left over cake from our wedding and we ate on it for days after because it was so delicious and still so soft and perfect!!! 10/10 recommend - it will be the best decision for your big day, or any event you have! He will be our lifelong cake baker for all events for sure! -

Michael Anthony is the best in this industry! If you're looking for someone who is truly passionate about the quality and details, this is your person! We had a 2 tiered cake (Fig & Lavender / Key Largo) and 4 types of shooters available for our guests (6 flavors total) for a very reasonable cost that allowed everyone to try a variety of incredible flavors and it was all the rave! Guests were excited to take shooters home because of how delicious they were. We were blown away from the beginning at cake tasting by his kindness and flexibility so we can cater it to exactly what we're looking for. Every flavor we tried were fresh and flavorful, you won't regret any flavor you choose! From the taste and designs to the person you're choosing to execute this job, Michael Anthony is absolutely the person to choose for your special day! -

Michael was definitely one of our favorite vendors to work with! Excellent communication and was flexible when scheduling our tasting. I showed him a picture and described what I was envisioning and he executed it perfectly. I’ve never tasted a wedding cake so amazing and the guests all loved it too. We went with Plain Jane, Screaming Chocolate, and Peanut Butter Crunch. After we confirmed the details he took care of the rest. We never had to worry about anything with him and would choose him to make our wedding cake 1,000 times over. He’s super personable, sweet, and amazingly talented. -

Michael Anthony made the cake for my wedding on 10/20/19. He is very talented and his cakes taste amazing. He was responsive from the very beginning. He has many flavors to choose from. When we went for our cake tasting he had set up and cute presentation for us. The price was very fair. Everyone at my wedding raved about how good the cake was! Michael worked with me to make sure the cake was how I wanted it to be. He is easy to work with because he is so kind and cares about the work he does. I highly recommend him!
