Amazing Caterer!

Cynthia and everyone on the Metro Cuisine team helped make our wedding day extraordinary! First off, the food that Metro provided was beyond excellent: we received multiple compliments on how fresh and tasty everything was. In addition, we had a blended Indian/Western wedding and Metro did a fantastic job of coordinating pass-through catering for some regional Indian dishes that had to come from a local Indian restaurant. From decor to service, they made everything about the day-of catering experience so easy. We would recommend them without reservation!

Couldn't be happier!

Kelley from Metro was one of my favorite people to work with throughout the wedding planning process! I’m certain that Metro must be very proud of her and her team for pulling off such a large event and I’m so thankful for her leadership. I truly felt taken care of and was able to relax and enjoy the day because I knew this team had us covered! People raved about the food (especially the garlic mashed potatoes) and were very complementary of the staff. Thank you to Metro and to Kelley for having such a positive impact on our special day!

Best wedding food!

We are so glad we went with Metro to cater our wedding! The food was delicious, everything about the linens and setup looked great, and the service staff was impeccable- we barely even noticed them all night, but they stayed on top of everything! From the initial tasting, to meetings to discuss set up and linen choices, to the day-of, everything was a breeze and we had no complaints. We will definitely use Metro again for our catering needs.

Amazing, Beautiful Wedding!

We had such a great experience with Metro Cuisine at our wedding a few months ago. I worked with Emily as my coordinator and she was always willing to answer my questions and meet with me to go over details during the planning process, which was especially important as a Covid bride. Our Metro Cuisine package included chair rentals, linens, glassware, lights, etc, so we didn't have to worry about any of the set-up for those things. The staff did an amazing job with set-up & tear-down, ensuring that the day ran smoothly, and they were extremely kind and proactive. Our guests also LOVED the food offered by MC, saying it was the best food they had had a wedding! HIGHLY recommend hiring them for your wedding!

Delicious and flexible

Metro Cuisine is owned by the same gentleman (Tim) who owns our venue (The Beverly Mansion), so it was really a no-brainer for us to pick this company. We were extremely happy with the results, though! They provided a build-your-own pasta bar that was a hit with everyone at our wedding, and provided an easy way to ensure that our vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free friends and family had a solid meal.

Great experience

Emily was amazing to work with as we planned our wedding and rehearsal dinner. I had so many questions for Emily throughout the process and she was always quick to respond and so helpful. Most importantly, the food was great!

We loved Metro!

I am so thankful we had Andrea and the Metro team on our side for our wedding day! Andrea was so helpful in guiding us through the wedding planning process and answering all of our questions quickly. They are more than catering! The food was delicious and there are so many options to create your menu. However, I was so impressed with the staff on our wedding day. They went above and beyond to create the most beautiful wedding reception. I had extra greenery from our flowers and they used it to decorate in ways I wouldn't have even thought to use it! The service was great and they just go with the flow of your wedding. Andrea was such a calming presence which is so necessary on your wedding day and leading up to it. Cannot thank Metro enough and would recommend them to anyone!

Great food, wonderful staff!

Our experience with Metro was great! They were a pleasure to work with - especially Andrea our coordinator. We loved her communication and willingness to be flexible - this was especially true when we had to postpone our 2020 wedding until 2021. The food was great, although we did pay for an additional tasting of the exact food we would be serving which was very helpful. Metro really went above and beyond - without asking when we ran out of pre-ceremony drinks, they noticed and made sure the bridal party/ VIPs had drinks (including pitchers of water!) before the ceremony and even providing a plate of appetizers for us to eat right after the ceremony since we did not join our guests for cocktail hour. Metro's entire staff was wonderful and we had a great time!

Best food and service, by far!

I cannot thank Metro Cuisine enough for making our wedding rehearsal dinner so perfect! They were outstanding, truly, and the food was incredible! Considering that the quality and creativity of the food was 5 star restaurant worthy, the price was very reasonable. Everyone continued to rave over the food for days! We also had Metro Cuisine cater a day-after-the-wedding brunch, and they brought the same level of excellence, both in food and service.

Talk about going above and beyond! I would have totally forgotten the pre-meal toast if Metro Cuisine hadn’t reminded me! Their attention to every detail surpassed my highest expectations. Each server was polite, professional, friendly, and exceptionally helpful. Metro Cuisine is THE caterer you want for any event!

Loved working with Cynthia + The Metro Cuisine Team!

My husband and I got married earlier this month, and Metro Cuisine was our caterer. Not only was the food DELICIOUS- they were so wonderful to work with. We worked with Cynthia and she is truly the best! My husband and I are from Columbus but now live out of state- planning a wedding without being in the area has the potential to be overwhelming and confusing- but Cynthia made it a breeze! She is so communicative and responsive and she has incredible attention to detail. She recommended vendors for us (music, DJ, florist, photographer) and we were thrilled with their work as well! The catering staff was amazing! They were so attentive throughout the evening, so present and kind to our guests and saved us extra appetizers since my husband and I didn’t have a chance to try them during the cocktail hour. We had a plated dinner and I was concerned that dinner would end up taking longer than expected (I was so eager to get to the dancing!) but the Metro Cuisine staff ensured that we stayed on schedule. I can not recommend this beautiful space and the Metro Cuisine team (especially Cynthia!) enough.

Metro Cuisine

This is my first review, ever, but feel the need to post a review for every vendor we chose for our wedding! Metro was not only wonderful to work with but the food was delicious! I worked with Emily throughout the entire planning process; she answered my emails in a timely fashion and was patient with me whenever I changed my mind about stuff. The staff was wonderful, too! They had to run a quick errand the day-of because I forgot to buy sodas for the non-alcoholic drinkers!! Our wedding was on Friday, 5/31/19, and I am still on cloud nine! Metro's food did not taste like normal gross wedding food that a guest typically experiences. Every bride should hire Metro for their exceptional service and delicious food!

My husband and I used Metro Cuisine for our brunch wedding on May 20, 2018 as part of our contract with Vue Columbus. When we were researching venues we had already determined that we wanted to use Metro because of their flexibility and packaging prices. Our overall experience working with Andrea and her team was nothing short of phenomenal. Because they are full service we only had to use one vendor for all of our linens, dishes, setup and tear down. They worked with us on a special request for chicken and waffles which fit our budget perfectly. We also provided inspiration photos for our centerpieces which we brought to the venue but the Metro team set up for us and they looked great. On top of all of that, leading up to the day-of we had consistent communication and Andrea answered all of our question in a timely manner and provided us with all of our options without any pressure to purchase. My husband and I could not be more pleased with how our day went because of the staffs attention to detail and we and our bridal party were able to relax and enjoy our time because they did EVERYTHING. We highly recommend Metro to anybody that asks because they are of the utmost quality.

We used Metro Cuisine for our wedding lighting, chairs and decor- and they were absolutely amazing! Everyone on the Metro Cuisine staff was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the planning process. I have recommended them to all of my friends who have any event needs- they are simply the best!

We used Metro Cuisine for our chair rental for our wedding ceremony. I researched many chair rental locations and they were the least expensive price per chair that I could find. They arrived on time, brought the exact chairs that we ordered, set up the chairs exactly as directed, and came back on schedule to remove the chairs without any disruption to guests. They were very responsive to emails and very easy to work with. Great price and great value!

The space at the Vue is spectacular. They upgraded so much of the interior from the time we placed the deposit to our big day - it was a nice surprise! It has a industrial-woodsy vibe we loved. It was large enough to hold our group but never felt too big. Liz was very easy to work with and even ended up throwing in bistro lights the day before at no cost. And the kicker - you can bring your on alcohol! We over bought by a lot and still were under what other comparable venues were charging for mid-level bar packages. We couldn't have picked a better place to hold our reception thank you!

Metro was equally easy to work with. We tried the quarterly tasting, but ended up setting up a private tasting for just the two of us. Andrea was super easy to work with too! Metro was able to accommodate a few special dairy-free meals for me and two other guests without a problem. It was great not to have to worry about that on the big day!

Knowing that our caterer and venue were so closely linked made the planning easier. We could meet with both at the same time to finalize details and know they would work well together the day of the event. Thank you!

Everything about this vendor was fantastic. This caterer provided a coordinator that helps us out over the course of the engagement which was about 16 months. The coordinator that they provided was super nice and professional. She answered my questions in a timely manner. I was slightly worried when she was leaving the company for another position and that another coordinator was getting up to speed on our wedding less than a month before. However, the newly transitioned coordinator had no issues with anything that was decided beforehand and did a wonderful job.

The serving staff was amazing. My bridesmaids and I were hiding in the third room at the venue (Vue) and noticed the open windows there. One lady came out and blocked the windows from the guests so they wouldn't see me. She also brought us a pitcher of water with cups and some veggies to snack on. The bartenders were amazing and a bit heavy handed which had all of our guests raving. At the end of the night, they participated in the photobooth with the guests!

The food was simply amazing. Hands down, the best food I could ever eat and I wish I ate more! We had 4 appetizers: bacon-wrapped pineapple, bbq meatballs, fried ravioli with dipping sauce, and a veggie tray with dill dip. The bacon-wrapped pineapple were all gone before my husband and I got to the cocktail hour, but everything else was delicious! The fried ravioli were really fried but super tasty. I'm glad we went higher on the appetizer numbers as all of it was gone but maybe some veggies. For the entrees, we chose grilled sirloin with roasted tomato & gorgonzola butter and chicken stuffed with brie & pear, proscuitto & arugula with champagne sauce. The chicken was out of this world. We also asked for the recipe so we can make it for our anniversary which the coordinator asked and provided us with it and instructions!

Andrea was amazing - she put up with all of my crazy questions and changes and made the day go so smoothly. If something went wrong, I had no idea :) I got tons of compliments on the food and service from all of our guests. If you don't know what to order, can't go wrong with Chicken Romano and Crabcakes.

The only place in Central Ohio that I could find farm tables at a reasonable price!!! I opted for my second choice in chairs, the fruitwood Chiavari chairs (170 chairs). My first choice they did not have, and every other place that had them (farm table chairs) were really expensive! My second choice turned into my first choice when they were delivered. Absolutely beautiful! I did a mix of table rounds and farm tables with these chairs and they were beautiful! No regrets! I also rented a sequined table linen and it was gorgeous! Metro ran the numbers for me several times and made reserving my items easy. They delivered and picked up when they said they would. Just very easy to work with! I will use them again, and will refer family, friends, and clients to them with no hesitation! Thank you!!!

We worked with Andrea at Metro Cuisine and had an amazing experience. She was extremely courteous and patient with our many requests and occasional indecisiveness. She let us make the decisions but offered great suggestions when we asked for her opinion. The reception was beautiful and the way they decorated the venue was amazing. Everyone loved the food (it was soooo good!). Andrea, the bartenders and the staff were all fantastic to work with and very professional. Lastly, they packed up everything for us at the end of the night so our family's could relax and have fun at the end of the night. We would highly recommend choosing Metro Cuisine!

Metro Cuisine was a great choice for our wedding. Kathy was great to work with. She addressed all of my concerns in a timely manner. The food was amazing and the staff was great! Kathy had done some other weddings at our venue so she was familiar with the area and knew the best way to set up the room which was great! We really liked that Metro Cuisine was able to rent us the chairs, tables, and linens, as well as, do the catering. It was a lot more convenient than having to bring in multiple vendors. Our venue was very much a "DIY" venue so having them do set-up and teardown was great. I would definitely recommend them!

Metro was amazing!!! We worked with Andrea and she was so patient, flexible, and responsive!! Our food was delicious, we received so many compliments! The service was amazing and overall the time spent helping us to finalize all of the final details was invaluable! Andrea and I sent so many back and forth e-mails about numerous details and it really helped me feel at ease going into the big day knowing that they had taken the time to go over everything with me the way they did. Metro was AWESOME to work with, especially with Andrea. We met Andrea a year out from the wedding and when we told her we wanted family-style BBQ, she didn't even hesitate (others thought this was odd for a wedding). She helped develop a perfect menu and really worked to understand my vision and how I wanted every little detail. Weddings are FULL of details (and I think ours had more than normal), but Andrea was always patient, kind and encouraging, and worked hard to execute every little thing. The customer service was also great- Andrea was great! The day-of went well as well. The servers were very attentive and they cleaned up at the end of the night and let us relax and enjoy the final moments of the wedding. I would highly recommend (everyone loved the food!)

Metro Cuisine was so fabulous words cannot explain. My daughter's wedding reception was beyond my expectation. I worked with Andrea for almost a year. There was not one request that didn't get filled. Her response time was immediate and her wonderful nature made the planning process a joy. As far as the service and food.....I am still receiving calls from guests raving about how amazing the food tasted and about the wonderful staff. Metro Cuisine is a well oiled machine from start to finish. We had 200 guests at our event and the 5 hours flew right by. Metro kept the flow of the event moving and didn't miss a beat.

If you want to hire a moderately priced vendor that is worth every penny Metro Cuisine is the way to go.

We used Metro Cuisine for our wedding, and they truly made it a wonderful day! Kathy was so responsive to our every need, always answering emails same day (and sometimes in the same hour!) that I sent them. She was willing to meet us both at the event space and at her office to discuss details. Everything was perfect the day of as well. The whole staff was wonderful, kind, and helpful. And the food was excellent! We received so many great comments on the food. Metro Catering is the full package, and I would recommend them to anyone!

We worked with Metro Cuisine for our wedding, Kathy Bell was our main contact and she was so knowledgeable and helpful. We had a kind of unique menu with coney dogs and sliders, fried cheese ravioli, martini salad bar, macaroni and cheese, funnel cakes, cotton candy, and delicious appetizers! We did a buffet, and our guests LOVED the food! The staff was so accommodating and wonderful, and our event coordinator was terrific. They went above and beyond, without me even asking, they took my grandmother up to the buffet and helped her carry her plate! They also made sure the groom and I had assistance and had everything we needed. They even went and got a few hamburger patties for my dog to eat so that he could have dinner! I could not say enough good things about this vendor, I am so happy that we chose them!

Kathy was extremely knowledgeable and put together a reception package that was perfect. Our theme was, "Culinary Experience Around the World." She worked with us to develop 6 different appetizer stations to be themed after our favorite foods and after some of our favorite travel destinations. The displays were beautiful and the staff were extremely helpful and professional. We can't thank Metro Cuisine enough for all their work in pulling together the details to make our wedding reception a success.

Emily Nunn did a wonderful job with all the details, food & services pricing and we just so enjoyed her helpfulness & awesome leadership ! The FOOD was wonderful as well as the cocktail set up, dinner buffet tables, cake and drinks tables! Everyone raved about the awesome Texas BBQ! We worked with Kathy Bell through our venue the Vue. Kathy is incredible and made us feel very comfortable with any questions/issues/ideas we had! Any little detail was not too small for her and she even helped us set up our venue when we couldn't be there! Kathy is amazing and was very prompt in answering any email or call which is so helpful as a bride! She is also very creative and gave us ideas about set up, linens, food pairings, etc. etc. etc. that we would have never thought of! We got soooo many compliments on all the food and presentation :) Would gladly work with Kathy again and she and Metro should be at the top of your list to check out for catering!

Choosing Metro Cuisine as the caterer was a no brainer after we met with Kathy. She was helpful and accommodating in putting together the type of event that my husband and I were looking for. We knew that the food was great after our tasting but didn't know what to expect as far as service at the event. We were truly blown away with the quality of service we received. When we arrived at our venue we were immediately introduced to the service captain who check on both of us throughout the night. Metro set up all over our decorations and everything looked beautiful! They thought of every detail - honestly there was nothing that was left out. Several guests and family members have commented that they loved our food and that the service was top notch. I was impressed that Metro boxed up our leftover food and cakes to take home and aided in helping us get all of our decorations packed up to go home. I cannot say enough about how happy we were by choosing Metro to cater our event.

Everything about Metro was great! They made my wedding seamless and took care of everything so I did not have any stress the day of. They provided the tables, chairs, linens, tableware, and food. Everything was perfect. I even dropped off all my decorations for the entrance table, dessert table, and bar a few days ahead of time and they set it up perfectly. At the end of the night, they took care of everything. The food was beyond delicious. My guests said it was the best wedding food they have had. The chicken was moist and the lasagna was flavorful. Our coordinator, Emily, was a gem! She responded to all my emails and phones calls right away and worked with me to ensure everything was how we envisioned. The staff on the day of was professional. The pricing was good as well. Everything is included in the price so there were no hidden surprises. I definitely recommend working with them!

Kathy Bell's (event coordinator) level of experience and knowledge of the venue really was a great asset in making the wedding reception such a success. We appreciated and followed most of her suggestions for event layout and staging. Everything was in order when the guests arrived and the meal was great. We particularly appreciated the attentiveness of the Captain and the entire staff to the ebb and flow of the evening. The captain checked in with us regularly during the evening to make sure we were ok with her team's service.

THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! I recieved so many compliments that it was some peoples favorite wedding food. With the good food came great service. They were very accomadating and knew when we needed help. They were friendly and approchable while planning the even and durring the wedding. I really feel like they went above and beyond! We couldn't have been happier! Things that I worrired about while getting ready before I checked the venue were complety taken care of. Emily and all the staff at Metro did such a wonderful job for my wedding. They made my life planning an outdoor, backyard/tented wedding so much easier. They were very responsive to my needs and my questions. I was happy with the food and service. One of the best things was even though my husband and I were busy dancing and talking they made sure to set aside a slice of pie and cheesecake for us. We thought we'd missed it all!

WOW! Metro Cuisine was wonderful! Emily was so helpful through the whole process of planning and executing our wedding reception. We had an outdoor reception and needed tents, tables, chairs, linens, etc. Kevin was in charge of our tent details, he was so easy to work with! His team was amazing and went out of their way to make sure everything was where we wanted it.
The food was delicious, everyone raved about it! We had the Jazz and Rib fest themed menu with funnel cake for dessert! There was so much food they even boxed up the leftovers for us!
The service was so much more than we had expected! The bartender was so attentive, she even made me my favorite drink and brought it to me since we were so busy celebrating and talking with our guests! The staff kept everything rolling and were on top of cleaning up plates and trash quickly. They also stayed longer than we had planned for them to since the party kept going, which was more than I could have asked for.
We had originally been planning on working with another well known catering company/market in Columbus but received poor service and no communication which led us to Metro Cuisine. I am so thankful we found them! When we walked into our reception we were so impressed!! Everything was exactly what we wanted and more! THANK YOU!!!

There are no words to describe how pleased we were with Metro Catering. All of my emails were very promptly answered, the food was AMAZING, the service was exceptional, and the overall feel of the staff at my wedding was friendly and professional. I had a lot of small details that I wanted to be a part of the reception decor, and Metro allowed me to drop everything off at their warehouse (they unloaded my car), and delivered it to the reception. They were also very receptive to my family assisting with the set-up on the day of the wedding. Then, they returned everything back to their warehouse and we were able to pick up the stuff the next week. It made everything so easy! I will recommend Metro Catering to anyone looking for a caterer in the Columbus Ohio area, no questions asked!

In addition to catering they also have event rentals and we rented white chairs for our outdoor ceremony from them. The prices were affordable the the chairs were delivered on time and perfectly and they were picked up as well! They have a wonderful assortment of event rentals and were willing to work with us to find exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend them!

Amazing to work with! We worked with Metro through our wedding at the Grange Audubon Center, where they are one of the preferred caterers. We were so happy with our experience with them leading up to the wedding that we eventually hired their drop-off service for a post-wedding Sunday brunch for our out of town guests. Kathy was on the same page as I was from the start. I told her where we were getting married and gave her a general idea of what I had in mind and she put together the perfect menu. We worked with Kathy at Metro for our September 2018 wedding and we couldn't be happier! She was professional, lovely to work with and very responsive to any and ALL of my questions. She is so organized and thoughtful! We chose to have a taco bar for our wedding and we had tons on compliments on the food. I wish I had been able to have more of it because it was delicious! The staff and bartenders at our wedding were wonderful too! Metro worked with our venue exclusive and that was a great benefit because they know the space and have their system and service down! We were able to do all of our rentals (linens, napkins, plates, chairs, lighting, etc) through them as well. If we did it all again tomorrow, I would pick Metro without question!

This catering team did an amazing job on our wedding day! The staff was very helpful and responsive. They set up our venue exact how we imagined it would be and they even helped us pack up the rest of our decorations! The food tasted great and the servers are very attentive. Metro Cuisine was wonderful to work with for our wedding that took place at Vue in June. Kathy was our point of contact and helped our coordinate our event. She was very flexible, patient, and responsive- especially for our last minute changes and updates! During our wedding, we were given the star treatment by the Metro Cuisine staff. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They did a wonderful job making sure that everything went smoothly that evening so we were able to enjoy our night. Niecy was beyond helpful and accommodating. Kathy was a great planner. The diagram does not quite match up to the venue itself. There were definitely inconsistencies, one major being the DJ couldn't set up where the diagram specified, and we paid him extra to come at the required time; come to find out there was no space for him. The reception tables and buffet are just too visible for the extra money required to spend on an actual ceremony. I worry they were distracting.

My fiance and I used Metro Cuisine for our catering and our linen rentals for our wedding. They were easy to work with and flexible. There were a few hiccups in the couple days leading up to the wedding as far as the final plans but our coordinator handled everything and it all worked out so it was no big deal. The food was a hit! We had fajitas, rice, fruit salad, and some great appetizers, served family-style. I only wish the portions had been larger because everything was delicious. The bartending was good too, we were able to provide all our own beverages and they transported and served everything which was a big money-saver. They were able to make 2 signature drinks for us plus serve a full bar. All of the staff were so nice and professional. I liked that they assigned one person specifically to the head table to take care of the bridal party. They did clear drinks pretty quickly so sometimes my half-full cup would be gone when I came back from dancing but it wasn't a huge deal. Overall everything went smoothly and I am very happy with the amazing food and service!

We rented our tent, tables, chairs and linens from Metro Cuisine for our outdoor wedding, and they were great to work with. They set up our tent the day before the event, but unfortunately since it is a holiday weekend could not pick it back up til Tuesday. The tent was great, and came with cute lighting on the ceiling. They were quick to respond to any questions my DS asked in the month or two before the event, and I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs event rental services.

Overall they did a wonderful job. The months leading up to my wedding they were quick to respond to emails, were willing to make changes, and very friendly and professional, and easy to work with. All of the planning as far as table arrangements, both decorations and physical location, were completely thrown out the window the day of however. The woman we'd been working with before the wedding wasn't there the day of, which we knew, but the "captain" who was in charge that day, didn't have a clue about the plans we'd made before. They were setting things up "how they typically are set up" as opposed to how we'd mapped out (literally with an overhead diagram of the room with how we wanted to room set up). They were to set up and decorate our tables at the reception and didn't know what they were supposed to look like despite us sending pictures of demo tables, writing out the table details, and labeling EVERYTHING in the box. It was like our contact with the company hadn't shared ANY of our plans with the captain before our wedding, even though she was the one to ask us for detailed descriptions.

The captain was friendly enough and changed things to how we wanted them, after us putting our feet down, and at the actual reception both her and the other staff were wonderful.

The food was better than expected in both taste and presentation! We received several compliments on how the food.

First, I will start by saying that I highly recommend Metro Cuisine. We started with Andrea, who was very helpful with the original planning. Kathy ended up working with us through the final planning and she was great too! She answered all emails in an extremely timely manner and was very organized and extremely helpful with the planning process. Guests cannot stop raving about the food (especially the salmon)! I wish I could give 5/5 stars because the wedding truly was the wedding of our dreams and Metro was there to help us every step of the way. However, there were a few small bumps that should also be mentioned even though they did not take away from the final experience very much. A few months before the wedding, the pricing structure changed to a new menu system. Due to my email being in their computer incorrectly, I did not receive this update. My husband and I had made our selections on the original menu we received prior to our final planning meeting. When we were informed of the changes at the meeting, we were told the new menu made the size wedding we had cheaper, which we were calculating there in that meeting and finding this to be untrue. We were told we could keep the old menu since we had been in the system so long. After reviewing the new menu and planning a second final meeting, we found two positives to the new menu and actually decided to pay more for the new menu. The new menu makes deciding your selections WAY more straightforward. It is much better organized and makes way more sense. Also, the jump from buffet to plated with the new menu was not as high, so we actually upgraded from buffet to plated. This changed worked wonderfully and I ended up being very happy we did this! We coordinated a schedule for a few aunts to help with venue setup. Most of this went smoothly, but there were a few mixups and a few things changed from what we expected. These were small details that did not change the overall outcome, but caused the aunts confusion.

My husband and I were married at The Vue Columbus and used Metro Cuisine as our caterer. The food was amazing! I had many compliments from guests about the quality. At first we were assigned to Andrea as our coordinator but Kathy ended up being our coordinator. I booked this venue over 18 months ahead of time and from the first meeting to the last the pricing structure changed and even though I was assured we were not being charged more, the numbers didn't add up and the cost was definitely more than the original quote. I ended up changing the food to lower cost items, changing to buffet service rather than sit down and had about 50 less guests than I initially said and the cost was STILL MORE than the quote. Also somewhere in our verbal communication I asked to only have champagne glasses for the head table for a champagne toast but there were no champagne glasses in the whole building. So no champagne toast. Also we paid for regular glassware but guests were drinking from plastic by the end of the night. The venue did look beautiful and was set up lovely! The flowers looked great, the center pieces were all set out and the staff was extremely nice and accommodating. I can't say enough about the food. Wonderful! Guests loved it and complimented the veggie lasagna all night! I ended up changing the salad at the last minute to the basic salad due to the pricing issues and it was amazing. Even the lowest budget items were great!

Overall I was 100% pleased with the food at our wedding. Initially after reaching out to the vendor to start getting things lined up, I ran into some pretty sever lack of response from the contact I was dealing with, however a quick phone call to a manager resolved the issue. I dealt directly with the manager for the remaining time, and never ran into an issue again. Food is fantastic and for a great value, would absolutely use them again and recommend to others!

We rented linens and a big coffee maker for my daughter's wedding.
Everything was just as ordered. Service at ting of pickup was very friendly.
Overall it was pricey but comparable to other vendors.

We had a plated dinner service, and all the staff was great. The portions were generous and tasty. They also handled most of set up and clean up, which allowed us time pre-ceremony to take pictures and relax.

Overall I was satisfied, a little frustrated because we rented chairs from here and about 10 of them were broken and some also required some cleaning, but overall, very worth the price.

Metro was a great one stop shop!
They offered good food and did our chair and linen rentals.

I really enjoyed working with Metro throughout the whole wedding planning. Our caterer was very easy to work with and very responsive. Only a couple of issues came up at the reception that I was surprised by given the level of professionalism that was shown. We were supposed to have the outdoor fire pit going, but between the ceremony and the reception start, my mom was there ahead of time and the facility workers had no idea it was supposed to be on and there wasn't even firewood. So my mom ended up driving to Giant Eagle to buy firewood since my favors were s'more kits with the intention of actually making s'mores at the reception! (5 stars to mom on fixing that blunder). Also, some of the chair placements were not where they were supposed to be, and the cake knife and server that I had brought a week before hand were never set out, so we didn't even use them.
But the food was delicious, and in the end the facility looked beautiful, with the minor mis-haps only known by me.

We received many compliments about the food provided by Metro Cuisine for our wedding in June 2018. It is almost a month later and I still have people telling me they are trying to recreate some of the dishes (the roasted vegetables and mac and cheese cups, specifically). The rentals were beautiful as well and really helped our space come together.

Unfortunately, I have also been told by at least 5 guests/bridal party members, on separate occasions, that the bartenders were incredibly rude. I personally worked a few years in the restaurant industry, so a lot of our guests have experience as managers/servers/bartenders and usually never complain about service since they understand that sometimes you have an off day. We feel so, so embarrassed every time it is brought up, and while it is the only issue we had with Metro, I feel like it is a pretty big one. After paying about $13k for 170 guests, I would expect to not hear such complaints. The other members of the service/rentals staff were great, though! Hopefully it was just an off night.

The sales person I worked with was very helpful and patient while I was deciding what I needed for my event and placing my chair rental order. However, the delivery was a day later than agreed upon in the contract and they showed up to the venue hours earlier than they said they would to pick them up after the event, so we had to find somebody last minute to meet them there. The chairs were overall in really good condition and a good value.
