What a GREAT FIND!
I was looking for a mother of the groom gown, a friend recommended Mervat’s Bridal and now I am without hesitation recommending this boutique. Mervat has a gift, not only picking gowns for her shop and her guest, but personalizing and making the gown your very own! She is NOT trying to make a sale, she is helping to make you feel your very best for your special occasion! The rest of the staff is super friendly and helpful as well! Thank you for your professionalism, genuine honest options!
This is not a bridal factory but a personalized experience where you can find exactly what you’re looking for even if you don’t know what it is yet! Go check it out for yourself!

I got my wedding dress tailored at Mervat's Bridal and had a great experience! I made an appointment in advance, and came in with my mom. The owner was very clear about what she thought we should do, and all the work was done in an appropriate amount of time. I even ended up purchasing my veil from their salon because it was gorgeous. The day of our wedding, my dress looked beautiful and fit perfectly. Thank you again! -

We found Mervats, after a terrible experience at another bridal salon. I was looking for a specific style and possibly black. When I called I explained what I was looking for they were honest in saying we do not have many black dresses but we could order if you need us to. When I arrived I was immediately made to feel like family and every dress I put on Mervat made me feel beautiful. We went through several dresses and I liked some but wasn't finding the one. Mervat's daughter happened to walk in when I had the last dress on and said, wait we spoke on the phone, I have a dress in mind from what you were explaining. Well, that dress was almost perfect, Mervat was able to create the overskirt and veil to make it the one! Mervat custom-built my dream dress and I can't thank her enough! My husband was in tears at the first look! Thank you so much for making my wedding dress dream a reality.

Mervat is the absolute best. She made us feel like family every time we came in the store. Not only did I buy my wedding dress from her, but my mom and aunt also bought their dresses there. The three of us, plus my MOH sister, and my cousin all had our dresses altered there, too. She is a magician.
When I was somewhat self-conscious about the arm coverage of my dress, she created these gorgeous off-the-shoulder half sleeve that was stunning. I felt like a princess… and our nieces first thought I looked like a princess when they saw me! -

Mervat was easy to communicate with and did alterations on two dresses for me. Both were finished ahead of schedule and looked absolutely stunning. Her new shop is gorgeous and easy to get to! Will definitely use her again!! -

I cannot recommend Mervat's Bridal enough! Not only did I find my dream wedding dress there, but Mervat also handled all of my alterations, and the entire experience was wonderful from start to finish.
Mervat is truly one of the sweetest, kindest, and most genuine people you will ever meet. Every appointment felt like visiting a friend. She always made me feel comfortable, welcomed, and excited throughout the wedding planning process.
One of the things I loved most was that Mervat custom-made a veil for me that matched my dress perfectly. It looked like it was designed specifically with my gown in mind and completed my bridal look better than I could have imagined. Her eye for detail is incredible.
She also created my bustle, which held up flawlessly the entire night. Despite countless people accidentally stepping on my dress throughout the reception, the bustle never broke or came undone once. That alone was amazing and a true testament to the quality of her work and craftsmanship.
Beyond her incredible talent as a seamstress, what really sets Mervat apart is how much she genuinely cares about her brides. She made every fitting enjoyable and stress-free, and I always looked forward to seeing her. She helped make such an important part of my wedding journey feel special and memorable.
If you're looking for a wedding dress, alterations, or any formalwear fittings, I would recommend Mervat's Bridal without hesitation. I would absolutely return to Mervat for any future alterations or special occasion dresses. Thank you, Mervat, for helping me feel beautiful and confident on my wedding day. -

Absolute disaster
*I DO NOT recommend Mervat’s Bridal*
As a business owner myself, I understand how it is to work in customer service and always treat clients with the most respect, unfortunately I don’t believe Mervat has that what so ever. My dress was altered quite a lot as I lost a lot of weight, which she knew, and we were concerned with the zipper from the beginning, we made this very clear to her every single time we went for my fittings, and she assured us it would be okay, we also asked her to steam the dress for me from my last fitting, and she also tacked down where the zipper was just to “make us happy.” Disaster started when I opened up my dress on my wedding day yesterday, there was random pieces of strings and fabrics on the bottom of the dress (okay not a big deal), then as I’m putting my dress on I noticed there were at least 10 pins on the bottom of my dress, one being about 2 inches long and very thick, I almost stepped on these and we had to carefully look through the entire dress for more, as we were looking we noticed an extremely large tear along the inside seam on the bottom of my dress, it was the length of my arm. Tried not to panic as it was underneath and could really see too much. The real big issue came about 30 minutes into my wedding, a brides worst nightmare, my zipper seam completely snapped on me, almost exposing my entire upper body, but luckily I caught it in time. I was DEVASTATED. Luckily my venue coordinator sprung into action along with my family and for 30 minutes tried getting this button undone, they finally resulted into pinning up the bottom of the dress to cover the exposed part, it was horrible but it worked and I was able to continue my wedding, but at the end of the night my husband couldn’t get the zipper undone at all, he tried everything but eventually had to actually break the zipper off for me to be able to get out of it.
I called the store to make a complaint considering we told her several times about a concern of the zipper and she just flat out didn’t listen, she was EXTREMELY rude, yelling back and fourth with me saying it’s not her fault and she didn’t do anything wrong, and it was perfect when I left the store so it’s not her problem, and refusing to give me any kind of compensation for such a devastating thing for me, literally wouldn’t listen to what I had to say. She would talk over me and barely let me speak, just extremely unprofessional and out of hand, she eventually hung up on me after I said I’m bringing the dress in. I brought the dress in and she immediately was in my mom and I’s face and pushed the issue over to another staff member because she was busy and didn’t care at all, she couldn’t admit to a wrong doing on her part, after we paid almost $800 in alterations and mentioned every single time about the zipper and that we were concerned about it, but she just kept yelling in our faces that it’s not her fault, she really didn’t care at all, plus she said she doesn’t steam dresses even though she took my dress back after she said she’d steam it after my final fitting. She ended up walking around the store ignoring us completely while we waited there, and eventually came up shaking her head at my receipt and gave me $100 saying “will that make you happy?” And pushed it towards me while saying “I did nothing wrong.” I cannot believe as a business owner how she presented herself in this situation. Also while being ignored in the store another lady had mentioned something to her about a bunch of strings on the back of her dress that she wasn’t satisfied with and she of course brushed it off. She cannot admit her wrong doing and wants nothing to do with pleasing an upset customer and making it right with them. I wasn’t asking for much, and my wedding day was ruined with my dress.
To say I’m devastated by what happened is an understatement, and the unprofessionalism on her side is an absolute shame. I hope no other bride has to go through that or deal with such horrible customer service from a very rude business owner. Beware of Mervats Bridal, I very much do NOT recommend, she will say things to please you and yes you to death, but when you mention an issue she brushes it off and has no compassion for an upset bride. -
