Sandy the venue owner was so very wonderful and helpful! She answers all your questions in a timely manner, is super flexible, and allows as much time as you need the day of to set up your event. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, set up for sound, equipped with round tables and wood chairs, and is maintained quite well. You can tell Sandy puts forth a lot of energy to make sure it’s immaculate. I 100% recommend Merryvale to anyone looking for a sweet and whimsical venue for their wedding needs!

We had a beautiful wedding & reception at Merryvale! Sandy's staff had the venue looking amazing, and Sandy herself was very accommodating with multiple site visits prior to our date. Additionally, since it was a holiday weekend, she let us have an extra day for vendors to pick up afterward so we wouldn't have to pay an exorbitant upcharge. It really was a perfect day!

Working with Sandy at Merryvale was the easiest part of planning our wedding. She was always quick to respond and happy to help. The gorgeous venue made the special day feel absolutely magical.

What an amazing venue! My husband and I were married in late summer 2016 and choosing Merryvale for our ceremony and reception was a fantastic decision. Located on the out skirt of Austin, it’s prime location allowed accessibility and convenience of the city while embracing the charm of the Texas Hill Country. Sandy provided exceptional service from beginning to end. Her knowledge of the wedding industry was an absolute asset us. Merryvale provides an affordable venue with the elegance and personal touch every bride wants on her special day. We could not be happier.

I feel so fortunate we chose to have our wedding at Merryvale. After looking at several other venues, I really had my heart set on saying "I do" in the Hill Country. We instantly fell in love with this beautiful location. Everything went flawlessly from start to finish and I have Sandy to thank for that. Sandy was wonderful to work with- she genuinely cared that we had the perfect day and went above and beyond to make that happen for us. You really can't go wrong with booking here. Our guests are still (months later) raving about how beautiful our wedding was. I would (and do!) recommend Merryvale to anyone looking for the perfect outdoor venue for their big day- you will not be disappointed!

Hi! I recently got married here July 2nd, 2016 and it was a dream come true! Sandy is wonderful, very kind and is all about accommodating you for your wedding day. I will always remember a comment she made, "I don't want you to start your marriage in debt" which honestly these days, is hard to come by looking at the wedding market... I knew she meant it because she worked with our budget and helped us with anything we needed the best she could. She has a few decorative items in the house that you're welcome to use if that's your style and not to mention the whole property is GORGEOUS. Very lush with greenery everywhere. My friends and family still go on about how magical it was especially at night with the lights turned on hanging in the trees. We had about 90 guests and there was more than enough room for more. It's such a beautiful, unique place and not to mention so clean. We were blessed to have come across it and meet Sandy. We are forever grateful. Thank you Merryvale!

The venue is close to downtown Austin yet very calming and lush -it almost feels like a yoga retreat center. The feelings you get out there make the wedding feel more meaningful. Sandy was quick and friendly in getting back to me and gave me some great ideas for wedding planning.

My husband and I had our wedding and reception at Merryvale. It truly was the best day of our lives. Having both the wedding and reception the same location was perfect. Sandy made sure everything ran smoothly. She had everything covered and showed my friends and family such hospitality. The heart-shaped rock, which was found on the property, created the perfect backdrop for our vows. Merryvale is a one-of-a-kind venue, standing apart from other outdoor venues. The lighting strung throughout the trees provided the perfect ambiance for our special day, and was just magical. I would recommend this venue to anyone getting married. You really won't find a more beautiful place.

Merryvale's venue was perfect for our wedding! The grounds were in great shape and manicured professionally. The house was great for the wedding party to get ready in before the event and the kitchen was perfect for keeping our appetizers fresh. Sandy allowed us to visit the venue on multiple occasions to double check everything and make sure our day turned out nice.

Merryvale is an absolutely GORGEOUS outdoor wedding venue! From the twinkle lights, large trees, rolling hills, deep sunsets and dancing under the stars- you can't beat this venue! I fell in love with this venue the first time I toured! However the owner was somewhat distracted the few months leading up to my wedding. She became a grandmother the week of my wedding, so some of this is excusable. The day of though, she was treating ant beads and spraying away wasp nests. This probably should of been taken care of before hand. Thankfully I am a patient and a somewhat chill bride. This probably would have stressed any other bride day of. I recommend that the owner hires a venue manager so that these tasks are off her plate. This beautiful venue deserves the attention of a full time manager. I'm so glad I had a top notch wedding coordinator to keep everything moving and organized. Everything went WONDERFUL by the way! If you choose this beautiful venue hire an outside coordinator and all will be fine.
