  Absolutely Amazing

  I am so happy Mary was our photographer. We did the package that included our engagement photos with the wedding day photos, which was an amazing deal for all that we got. She has great energy, takes beautiful photos and truly goes above and beyond to ensure your day is perfect. We loved every second we spent with her and could not be happier with both of our photo albums!

  Fall Hi-Line Wedding

  Merry Character Photography was so amazing to work with. Prior to our wedding, Mary made sure to make the whole process and day as easy as possible. Mary is bright, fun, and energetic! Her organizational skills were so helpful. Mary didn’t just show up to take pictures… she came to make sure my hair was out of my eyes, the grooms tie was tied just right, family was all rounded up for pictures, taking flower arrangements in from the ceremony, and also to be a friend.
  We had a very large bridal party and Mary took them on with ease with the help of her amazing second shooter, Holly.
  To say we are completely happy with our experience with Merry Character Photography is and understatement.

  If you are looking for a photographer for anything than seriously LOOK NO FURTHER!! Mary is by far the best way to go if you need a photographer. She is so professional, extremely energetic, open minded, fun, creative and MUCH MUCH MORE! Mary goes above and beyond to help you with your needs as a photographer such as helping out at your wedding as an additional bridesmaid, sending you night before preparations to make sure everyone's skin is flawless, how to compliment one another in dress attire for pictures and more! Mary makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera and as if you have been modeling and posing your whole life. I can't WAIT to have Mary take pictures of my family again down the road!!

  Best experience ever!

  Booking a photographer is something I had no experience with. I signed up for a free engagement shoot with a possibility for them to shoot our wedding. We won the engagement shoot and when we showed up Holly made the experience beyond incredible. We had the best time with her the entire shoot. We felt so comfortable getting our pictures done even though we hate pictures. Holly extremely friendly but she made us feel like she was family. Not only did she take amazing engagement photos she did such a fantastic job on our wedding. I couldn't imagine having a better person on the most important parts of our life. Not only did Holly do an a great job but Mary was behind the scenes editing all the photos arranging all the details of every shoot and phone call. The experience with the both of them was phenomenal. We couldn't of asked for a better pair of ladies to help us through the entire experience.

Holly was beyond helpful, kind and efficient on our wedding day and answered all of my questions and even was ahead of schedule on the timeline.   So Happy We Picked Them

  Choosing Merry Character Photography to photograph our wedding was one of the best decisions my husband and I could have made. These ladies went above and beyond of what I expected. They made such an effort to get to know us that by the time of the actual wedding, we felt so comfortable having our pictures taken. It was not awkward at all like I feared, but instead, it was fun! They also worked with me on building a timeline and shots way ahead of time. It really helped alleviate so much stress. These ladies were professional and fantastic! The best part, though, were the pictures. We got married on a miserably cold, rainy day. I was worried how they would turn out, but they were beautiful! You would have never guessed how freezing everyone was.

  Top notch photographer

  We have attended and been in a lot of wedding parties. We knew from this, that the first wedding vendor to hire was the photographer since having a great one was key to make everyone feel comfortable so their body language is natural. Mary accomplished this and much more! It was evident even to our wedding guests how great of a soul she is with positive energy and a great work ethic and customer service skillset that easily goes with the flow of the wedding day. Her business model is dialed in with her bright personal touch from sending a "thanks for hiring me" package at the start, check in texts during the process just to check in on the bride, and mailing a wedding picture canvas at the end to us. Many of us were impressed and surprised by the fast and high caliber editing turn around time. Her professionalism, class, and positive attitude during the whole process is like non other - she is worth every penny that your wedding budget allows!   Professional, energetic, above-and-beyond!

  I never hesitated to hire Mary to photograph our wedding. I have watched her blossom as a photographer over the past 8 years and every new photo she takes is better than the last - she never stops improving! Mary put so much into our wedding day and gave us a comfortable, funny, and energetic experience. My husband doesn't typically like pictures and she has a way of making even the most uncomfortable person walk away and say "that was actually really fun!" Mary is SO accommodating, will fulfill any request, and is never rattled by the inevitable chaos of a wedding day. More than anything, her energy, support, and excitement during the wedding day put her miles ahead of other photographers. Your wedding day is something that you want to remember both for the experience and through photographs, and I can honestly say that Mary is the best total-package photographer that I have ever worked with.   The best investment to remember our happiest day.

  Working with Bri and Holly was such an effortless experience. Bri spent time checking in with us throughout planning and offered an amazing timeline & resources to help plan family portraits which was executed beautifully during the wedding. From their initial arrival to the last photo they took Bri and Holly were full of energy, organized, and open to enjoying their time with us, making the portrait sessions and reception photos feel relaxed and natural. We were blown away with all the beautiful photos that arrived quickly after the wedding including the ceremony photos - we honestly couldn't remember seeing either Bri or Holly during it at all. It was such a great experience and we're so glad we invested in Merry Character Photography.

  A DREAM to work with!

  I could not recommend Merry Character Photography enough!! When we first reached out about shooting our wedding (1 month before our wedding date), Mary replied within minutes and was so enthusiastic about shooting our wedding day! Communication from start to finish was amazing, and we felt like she and Holly were truly invested in making our day as special as we had imagined.
  
  Holly ended up shooting our wedding day and there wasn't a moment that went by that I wasn't 10000% confident in her ability to capture every moment that was important to us. She was so positive and sweet the entire day and even came early to make sure we got all of the shots we were hoping for, and made us feel completely comfortable throughout every shot.
  
  Not only was the communication and relationship amazing, but the photos were a dream! I can't stop showing people our wedding photos & every person I've talked to has commented on how perfect they are! Our sneak peeks were uploaded THE DAY AFTER our wedding and we got ALL of our photos back on the day of our 2 week anniversary, which was such an amazing surprise.
  
  The care and dedication to the craft and client is so apparent with this crew, and I am so so thankful that we get to treasure our photos from Merry Character Photography forever!

  The girls from Merry Character Photography are fantastic!

  Mary and the MCP girls are awesome! They are so energetic and fun to be around! They kept us on time during our wedding day, all while having a good time and taking wonderful photos! I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to capture our special day!

  If you want more than just photos out of your wedding day experience, Merry Character Photography will supply the girls to do just that. Their dedication to make sure your special day turns out more amazing than you could have ever imagined is something I did not expect but was given. I got check in emails to see how wedding planning was going and was offered help and support multiple times. They helped me come up with a timeline that matched the day I envisioned. A wedding lasts a day, but the photos taken by Merry Character Photography will forever be my favorite thing to use to reminisce about our beautiful celebration because our love was captured SOOOO perfectly!

  Magical Wedding Experience

  Mary was so amazing shooting our wedding. Captured all the pictures I will treasure forever. She made it so fun and easy for everyone. She is extra talented and amazing since she was in our wedding as a bridesmaid and shot the wedding! She has a great team working with her that made that possible. She’s got a great thing going. We got our weddings photos so soon after our wedding which was great since we were sooo excited to see them!! The pictures were better then we could have dreamt! Between the photos and the experience it was all amazing and I wouldn’t change a single thing. I’m so thankful.
