Outstanding Bakery for Wedding Cakes!

Merritt's is an outstanding bakery in the Tulsa area for wedding cakes! Julie is very sweet and professional and really helps bring your vision to life! I would highly recommend Merritt's to anyone in the Tulsa area. They have some of the best prices for wedding cakes too!

Perfect Wedding Cake!

Merritt's Bakery was an easy choice for my wedding cake since they made my parents wedding cake almost thirty years ago! The cake was beautiful and exactly what I wanted! The were also able to create a delicious chocolate grooms cake and gluten free cake for some of my guests.

Merritt did a great job with our cake, we got exactly what we wanted . We made several changes and they were very accommodating our cake was great.

We got our cake for our reception from Merritt's and it was a hit! We had a destination wedding in Hawaii and chose to have a reception in Tulsa as well. Merritt's was more than willing to do a personalized design on our cake, a pineapple with "Just Maui'd", that turned out beautifully! The owner even delivered our cake personally to the venue. My mom, who does not like cake, absolutely loved the cake from Merritt's. Multiple guests commented on the cake and how wonderful it was. Such a fantastic choice. The price is higher than other places in Tulsa, but you get the highest quality and phenomenal service.

We utilized Merritt’s Bakery midtown for our wedding cake. I enjoyed working with them, because they were very easy going—giving us plenty of time to decide which style, colors we wanted, and final design of the cake. The final product looked fabulous and tasted delicious! We were very happy with their service.

The most beautiful three-tier cake I've ever seen, and it tasted SO good! The team at Merritt's was incredibly helpful in determining the perfect combination of flavors, portions, and design.

Julie was awesome to work with! Our wedding cake was to die for. We did an orange cake with pineapple filling and everyone was racing about it - even after the wedding!! The prices seem to be reasonable, but I only went to one other place. We did a carrot cake for the grooms cake and it was delicious too. Call Julie and she can help! You can tell she loves helping brides!

We chose to do our wedding cake and groom's cake with Merritt's and could not be happier! We tried tons of bakeries in Tulsa, and Merritt's was by far the best wedding cake we tasted, and also a fantastic value. So many people have commented about our cake since the wedding. They were also very flexible and easy to work with. I was extremely happy about the price as well. All in all, I would chose Merritt's all over again.

I found two styles of a cake that I loved and made an appointment at one the locations and they helped me create a beautiful cake with both styes together! And the cake was amazing :)

Our ceremony was in Fayetteville, AR, and we tried several bakeries in Arkansas but none were willing to work with us. Since we're from Oklahoma, we decided to go with Merritt's Bakery in Broken Arrow and transport the cake ourselves. Consultation was far better and more productive than any we had in Fayetteville, and we decided to go ahead and place an order. They had wonderful cake designs to choose from and was even able to get cherry filling for me, even though it isn't something they normally carry.

The cake was beautiful, and the quality was excellent. Everyone loved it, and although transporting it ourselves 2 hours from Tulsa, OK to Fayetteville, AR was extremely stressful and I cried when we made it safely, it was well worth it.

Our wedding cake AND groom's cake were incredible!!! They did exactly what we wanted and both were so awesome!!! We had so many compliments on both cakes!! Not only were the outsides of the cakes were beautiful, both cakes tasted AMAZING! They were so moist and the icing was not too much!!! I can't wait for our year anniversary so we can eat our cake top...it's THAT good!

Merritt's provided by wedding and groom's cake. We had vanilla with strawberry filling and then strawberry with strawberry filling for the wedding cake. Our groom's cake was the German chocolate. They were both incredible. Our wedding guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing the cakes were, both in look and taste. I wish I had gotten to eat more than the cake that was shoved lovingly in my face during our cake cutting at the reception, but thankfully our venue packed the cake up for us and store it that night. The next day we cut into it again so I could have my first actual piece and it still absolutely delicious.

The store we went to was easy to work with and helped us choose what we needed - size, flavors, stand, delivery. And it was all delivery to the exact specifications on my wedding day. I definitely think we got a great value for our beautiful cakes. I am definitely recommending Merritt's to my friends and am looking forward to using them for our cakes whenever we can!

BEAUTIFUL CAKE! The staff was so friendly and easy to work with. We talked a total of 2 times, and they delivered the EXACT cake that I wanted. They were able to make it 4 different flavors for the 4 different tiers, and it tasted exceptional!!!

I love Merritt's Bakery! We had a round three tier wedding cake and a chocolate groom's cake.

The wedding cake was german chocolate/german chocolate filling on first tier; chocolate/raspberry filling on the second tier; and vanilla/buttercream on the top tier. The decorating was beautiful. I had selected an not very popular cake and it had five different colors. But they made all the color work together. The description sounds terrible, but it was really pretty.

The groom's cake was a sheet with the plane iced onto it that my husband flies. It was quite a hit and looked just like the plane!

We had about double the cake that we really needed and it was so good that only the top tier was left over! Our guests are still talking about this cake!

Merritt's Bakery was AMAZING to work with! Both the wedding cake and groom's cake were absolutely perfect. I couldn't have asked for anything more from them. The cakes looked and tasted GREAT! Merritt's Bakery, has been my family's "go-to" bakery since my first birthday, and it will definitely continue to be the best bakery to go to inTulsa.

Fantastic to work with! Beautiful cakes! And absolutely delicious!! Merritts is truly amazing and one of the better priced companies in Tulsa. Forget the newer boutiques, go with Merritts who can create anything! My bridal cake was absolutely gorgeous and I had designed it myself, but they took the design and altered it slightly to make the most gorgeous cake. Our florist didn't even want to put flowers on it like we had originally planned because she didn't want to hide any of the beautiful design. And then our groom's cake... oh my goodness amazing! Everyone was commenting that it looked like something from "Ace of Cakes". It was awesome! Merritt's had fun with all our thoughts and ideas, but they guided us as well from their long time experience. They have amazing artists and can do anything from the traditional to the more modern. Don't let their old style website fool you - they are the best in Tulsa!

We had a Sunday wedding, Merrits is typically closed on Sunday. But they worked with us and delivered our cake to us on a Sunday. The cake was absolutly gorgeous and tasty too!

Fabulous to work with. I brought in my own photo, color swatches and they made a fabulous looking cake. They delivered it and it looked just like I wanted it to. It was AMAZING tasting, too. You can�t go wrong with Merritt�s. It was a 4 tier cake that was soo yummy and it was almost all gone by the end of the night!

Great cake! If you are looking for a very traditional wedding cake that tastes great and is extremely fresh, Merrit's is the perfect choice. They had great flavors and put together a beautiful, traditional wedding cake. We had a bit of a unique request for the groom's cake and they exceeded my expectations being able to work with our request. Both cakes look great at our reception and folks raved about the flavor. My only suggestion is to purchase bigger than you think. We found our guests wanted a piece of each cake and both cakes were gone by the end of the evening.

The staff at Merritt's Bakery was awesome. Extremely helpful! My cake was absolutely perfect and it was delicious. My only problem was that they couldn't deliever to my wedding site because it was around an hour away. They did deliever to a closer store that was only about 30 minutes away. I would have paid extra for a delivery if it was offered. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this bakery!!!! (Even though I had to pickup my cake, I would do it again because I don't think it could have been done better anywhere else.)

The Manager Julia was so helpful and made sure that my cake and my groom's cookie cake were perfect. Their cake is so delicious!

The cakes are quite pricey, but in the end it was worth the cost because we got exactly what we wanted and it was delicious.

Our cake was absolutely beautiful and, or course, delicious. The only negative thing I have to say is that we had to pick the cake up on Saturday for our Sunday wedding. I know that's very common but it was TERRIFYING to transport that cake and keep it safe. Other than that, our custom design was gorgeous and everyone raved about how good the cake was. I always use Merritt's for any cake I need, and I will continue to do so.

My cake looked beautiful and they made it exactly as I described and pictured! The taste of the cake is extremely good and they do such a great job with buttercream frosting I would suggest that instead of fondant! Amazing job!

Merrit's provided us with a great wedding cake! They delivered great value for price, everything on time and exactly what we wanted. However, it was a little hard to make them understand how we wanted our cake. I would definitely recommend them but it would be best if you have a picture of the cake you want!!

Gorgeous, custom cake at absolutely the best price in Tulsa. (I looked at everyone!) Grooms cake was also amazing. Fed 150 people for $400 dollars. Can't beat that. Tasted as great as it looked!

We got exactly what we requested. My grooms cake was an Apple iPhone and they did an EXCELLENT job. They made every home screen icon and lettering in great detail. Good work!

The place I originally ordered my cake from burned down so I had to order last minute, the lady was a bit snotty about me coming in last minute and they didn't tell me they couldn't deliver until the week before. They did bake it a a place closer to my venue but the inablilty to deliver was a problem. The cake itself however was beautiful and great tasting.

Cake wasn't exactly what we had ordered. we drew everything out with Julie and the things we had really emphasized over, were not on the cake which was a bit disappointing considering it had all been perfectly laid out. the cake wasn't for a wedding it was for a Quinceanera which is exactly like buying a wedding cake and despite that, they still did not allow us to have a cake tasting, which was REALLY disappointing because its the SAME size as a wedding cake! to me, it doesn't matter what occasion the cake is for, if you are buying a big cake to feed approximately 150 people, I would like to at LEAST taste what I will be purchasing!

The cake taste itself was good, but the quality of the cake wasn't so much. There was a huge spot/bubble on the side of the cake that looked like maybe they tried to fix a screw up and they didn't have the right colors either. The grooms cake was done alright for the most part. It had a few dents in it, but we were able to cover some of them up with the decorations we had to put on the cake ourselves. THEY DON'T DO ANY KIND FONDANT EITHER! I found that out 10 days before the cake was needed (granted that obviously should have been a question in the beginning).

We loved the taste of our wedding cake-but that was the only positive thing about Merrits. They changed the cost of the cake by $50 when I went to pay my balance with 2 weeks of my wedding! I was very upset- they never told me it would cost more until I went to pay for it- and we already had a contract for another price! I do not recommend them for your wedding.

Used them for my engagement party and showed them a picture of the cake I wanted. It looked like they didn't even try to match the picture and they didn't seem to care when I complained about it. I will NOT be using them for my wedding.
