Wonderful! Geri was an excellent maitre d. Couldn't have asked for better food and service. Carol was our sales consultant who was also wonderful. Every request we made was done without a problem. They really try to please the guests. We are so glad we chose PNC for our wedding!

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Meyner Reception Center at PNC bank Arts Center. The staff was wonderful, and helped us so much throughout the day!!! The food was excellent, and our guests are still complimenting on how great it was! We loved having our wedding here, and we had such a positive experience! Highly recommended!

Carol Biafore and everyone at PNC Reception Center are AMAZING! Our ceremony was in the beautiful East Garden, followed by the reception inside. The food was fantastic. Weeks later, I am still being told by our guests how great everything was. They went above and beyond our already high expectations. Carol was fantastic in every way possible. She seemed to know whenever I needed her before I knew myself. Our ceremony and reception were beautiful thanks to her and the staff.

everyone was wonderful with the whole process, from planning, to carrying out all of our wishes for our wedding day. I have very severe food allergies and they went above and beyond to change the menu to make sure everything was safe. The whole staff was just wonderful, we keep getting rave reviews from our guests on how wonderful it was.

I had my ceremony and reception at the PNC Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ - Robert Meyer Reception Center. Merri Makers is wonderful they have very reasonable prices and work within your budget and try to help you get what you want and stay in budget. The workers are extremly nice and helpful. I am so happy with our choice in venue. The food is excellant. My guest are still talking about how much they loved the food! Location is perfect being right off the parkway no problem finding it and no problem going home! My contacts name was Rose and she is wonderful I miss her already! i loved this place located next to PNC Bank Arts Center - much more unique than the typical hotel wedding and adds a lot of flexibility with all the functionality and space needed. beautiful backyard garden, all available at affordable prices. highly recommend.

I had my ceremony and reception at the PNC Arts Center Reception Center (Robert B. Meyner Reception Center) and it was AWESOME! Merri-Makers did an outstanding job with the food and service. My guests are still talking about out wedding!

I LOVED working with Merri Makers at the PNC Bank Arts Center. Rose was excellent to work with. She worked with us to give us the wedding that we wanted and her goal was to make us happy. She definitely delivered! Kevin was our maitre'd and he was great as well. He made sure that everything went exactly how we wanted it to on the day of. Anthony was our captain and he was perfect. He made sure we were well fed and that our drinks were always full. The venue is gorgeous and elegant. The food was delicious and so many of our guests told us how they left full and satisfied. I would highly recommend Merri Makers at PNC to any bride who wants a great wedding and who doesn't want to have to worry about anything!

The staff at Merri-Makers in Holmdel helped to make our wedding day absolutely perfect! They were so accomodating and helpful. And, we got tons of compliments on the food. Very professional and a pleasure to work with.

The staff at the Robert B. Meyner Reception Center in Holmdel, NJ were incredible! They were so helpful, polite, professional, and helped us create a perfect wedding day! People are still calling us to tell us how wonderful the wedding was from the beauty of the place to the delicious food!

Beautiful reception location, and phenomenal service. Our wedding reception was wonderful and all of our guests had great things to say about everything from cocktail hour food being amazing to how wonderful the service was during dinner and the entire reception. Carol was great to work with and listened to my whole vision for the day of, and executed everything I wanted. Would definitely recommend and use them for future events!!!

I recently had my wedding reception at PNC, and it was amazing!! The cocktail hour was beautifully set-up and allowed guests to choose either an indoor or outdoor seating area. The food was delicious--and yes the B&G ate at the cocktail hour! The ballroom decoration and set-up was close to perfect. The main entrees were delicious, according to guests' feedback. The service on the wedding day was excellent! we asked for a 6 hr reception instead of the standard 5, and they did it at no extra charge! No other venue would do this. There were several things we asked for and they did them at no extra charge. The one thing that upset me was the cake (which is provided by a contracted bakery). It was not the exact one we picked in terms of appearance. The pillars in between the cake layers were soooo tall and made the cake look tacky. Otherwise, everything was excellent! Carol, our Maitre' D and event consultant was amazing and accomplished every detail we had requested for! Leading up to the wedding day, I had so many questions and special requests, which were all addressed in a timely fashion and with great customer service! She never made me feel annoying for calling so much, lol. Thank you PNC for making our wedding so beautiful and memorable :)

I got married at the PNC bank arts center, reception center.
and the food was so good, and everything was amazing, the ceremony and reception. They helped with everything, and gave the best service ever.

Food: The food was out of this world. We went with a duet of beef and tilapia. Coupled with the passed hors'dourves, our guests were impressed and well-fed. We upgraded portions of the bar menu at moderate-to-no-costs, depending on the liquor/beer.
Staff: Our coordinator, Rose, was responsive every step of the way from the time we booked (a month after we got engaged, 9 months before the wedding) to the day of the wedding. She also manages the tent rentals, if you choose to use one (which we did and which we were very pleased with). We are a mildly laid-back couple but with specific visions, and she was very open to our ideas. She helped us find our wonderful florist as well.
Our maitre'd, Geri, met with us a week before the wedding, at the rehearsal, and was always within sight on our wedding day. Very attentive and knowledgeable, without being overbearing.
The rest of the staff that we encountered were helpful and efficient.
They went above and beyond cleaning up the grounds of the chapel on the morning of the wedding, which was really the responsibility of Sandy Hook.

Merri-Makers took the highest percentage of our budget, but we absolutely feel it was worth it.

We hosted our June 23rd wedding at the Merri Makers Reception Center located at the PNC Bank Arts Center. They really did an amazing job. The food was delicious. They have a spacious bridal suite for your bridal party to relax and freshen up in. You have a server personally assigned to you all night, which is a wonderful perk. The cocktail hour space has indoor and outdoor seating. The ballroom is a nice size, but not too big for our 120 person wedding. It's a nice space which can only hold one event at a time, so you don't have to share your space with another wedding. They have two ceremony sites (in case there is a concert the evening of your wedding). We were at the Enchanted Forest site. When I saw the Enchanted Forest site it was very hard for me to visualize what the cermony would look like. Once the chairs and flowers were all set up, it really looked wonderful! All of our guests were directed to this site and had no trouble finding it. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were all run so smoothly! Carol was running our show that night and she was absolutely wonderful! I really felt completely stress free. I know that a lot of brides say how the whole night was a blur, and they didn't get to eat dinner or spend lots of time on the dance floor. I feel completely the opposite. I had such a blast at my wedding (and was able to eat some delicious filet mignon, too!) Thanks to Carol, Rose and the whole crew at Merri-Makers, I will have memories to treasure for a lifetime!

We had our wedding at the PNC Bank Reception Center (Robert B. Meyner Reception Center) in Holmdel. When I first walked into the venue I was not blown away, in fact, it took me a few times going back to actually start to like it. The ballroom is large, neutral colors (a little plain for my taste), but I soon came to realize that it wasn't a bad thing because it allows the bride to really make it her space.

Anyway, Rose Olender (Sales Manager) sold me on the place. She was absolutely wonderful to work with! Her personality and professionalism really made me comfortable and I started to envision our wedding there. In the full year of planning, Rose was sooo helpful and a real pleasure to work with. Our guests said the food was excellent (I actually ate some and yes, it was delicious!) and the entire day ran smoothly. Our maitre'd was Carol - she was nice as well, we met her the day of the rehearsal because my husband and I could not make it down sooner.

When searching for a venue, I did a lot of online comparison between menus, venues, and cost. Merri-Makers offers you so much for your money and does not skimp on the quality or quantity of service. Our day was nice and easy and Merri-Makers was a big part of that. The location is easy to get to for guests and your day-of transportation (no lost limos). I would love to be able to attend a wedding here as a guest!

They are the exclusive caterers at this site. We actually kind of had some doubts based on some of the reviews that we had read and the food at the tasting, but they really came through. The food was way better than it had been at the tasting. Most importantly, they were TREMENDOUSLY accomodating to our unique, quirky tastes:

We wanted a veggie meal that wasn't just pasta - they came up with a great polenta napoleon that was actually the best-rated entree even amongst all the meat-eaters.
We totally re-arranged their set menus, and they were like, "sure."
We asked for a higher-end beer option, and they gave it to us at no extra charge.
We wanted the cocktail hour before the ceremony, they said, "no problem."

It is these little unique and personalized elements that people complimented us for (we had no idea starting with the cocktail hour would be so popular, and at least it meant that I did not have to walk down the aisle alone since my father was 30min late). There were a couple of places for improvement (having two buffet stations so that people didn't have to wait so long and the food got a bit cold; also, we purposely got vanilla and chocolate cake so people would have a choice and explained that to them, but they served the vanilla first, then the chocolate) but when you are doing as much work as them, it is hard to be perfect.

My sister suggested looking at the PNC Reception Center for my wedding after she had looked there for her wedding in 2011. The place is private and only throws one event at a time, so the place will be yours on your special day. The prices were hard to beat, which is a huge part of why we booked our wedding here. We decided to book after our first tasting. The food is delicious and there are so many options and that's before we even looked at the upgrades! My event planner's name was Kevin, who was very easy to work with and pretty much let us decide whatever you wanted, which ended up biting me in the behind... a month before my wedding, I received a letter in the mail stating that he was no longer my event consultant. When I called and spoke to Andy, the owner, he was not very easy to speak to and made me feel like I was bothering him. His wife took over as my event planner, but after trying to reach her several times I received an email from Kevin stating that he was going to stay my event consultant. I was disappointed in a lot of the communication, but in the end, it turned out to be a wonderful event.

The cake that they made me was great the price was a little high but its your wedding so you plan on spending it

The food was phenomenal. The staff was less than good. They were rude to guests and to the bridal party. They made promises that were not kept. Overall wish I would have went somewhere else
