From the very beginning, we were blown away by how fast they delivered content. The very next day, they sent us photos and videos that were so beautiful and emotional—we couldn’t stop reposting them! It made reliving the moment so special right away.
After that, they delivered the full gallery and the rest of the videos exactly within the promised timeframe. They are incredibly responsible and professional, and you can really tell they work as a strong, well-coordinated team.
They also made us feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. We had actually asked them to keep our couple photo session short because we wanted to get back to the party and enjoy time with our guests—and in just 20–30 minutes, we were able to take so many photos. Every single one turned out amazing!

From the very beginning, we received nothing but exceptional service. Eric & Mel responded very quickly to our inquiry and throughout the entire process. It can be a little nerve wracking planning a wedding abroad, but they shared so much knowledge and helped ease our nerves. They work very well together and have an eye for magazine worthy shots! Weddings are extremely stressful most of the time, but hiring Meric Moments was the least stressful part of the whole process. We were thrilled with our wedding album and how everything turned out. We are very thankful for their patience with our wild wedding party and how they adapted so quickly to the environment. The photos turned out gorgeous and they could not have captured our special day better. 10/10 recommend!! -

From our first zoom meeting, Eric and Mel were so attentive and communicative. They were the first vendors I booked, even before my wedding planner! I cannot say enough good things about Meric Moments. I booked them so far in advance because I knew they would be perfect, and before signing anything they had a facetime call with me which felt so personal. I think it makes a huge difference that they are a duo that works so seamlessly together, vs hiring photo and video separate which is something I wouldn't have thought about.
Everyone in my wedding party was commenting how amazing they were on the day, they were so structured and kept things moving and gave us prompts so we felt so natural taking photos.
I have been to weddings where there is a lag in getting photos together or figuring out what photo to take, or waiting for people to pose or all get in place. That didn't happen once.
They also listened to what photos I wanted and made sure they happened. They asked for a shot list and timeline ahead of time. Watching the photos and videos back feels like I am living the day again. The only thing I would change is to get a longer video, I only got the 30 min one! I got the 8 hours coverage which I felt was perfect, they also offer a package that includes rehearsal dinner!
I cannot say enough good things about them and would recommend them a million times over. -

Wow, we couldn't be happier with Meric Photography. Our day was absolutely perfect in every little detail and choosing the best photographers was a huge part of that.
I'm not one to enjoy being the center of attention, especially not on camera, but these two did an absolutely incredible job creating a professional yet relaxing environment to capture what we feel like are the most beautiful wedding photos we've ever seen.
Something important for me was not feeling like our wedding was a photoshoot. These two really did an amazing job capturing each moment without taking away from the organic feel and flow of our wedding. You can tell they know their stuff, helping to set up poses and ideas for photos. We were absolutely shocked to see the final product. More than just photography, Meric created art!
We are so honored to have shared our special day with Meric and couldn't feel happier with our decision to hire them as photographers. If you're on the fence, just book it! You will not be disappointed. -

When hiring Meric we knew the experience was gonna be great, but nothing could have prepared us for what we were about to experience. Eric and Meli (Meric) not only treated us in an amazing and friendly way during the entire day but also more than taking pictures and videos they captured the essence of the day. From the dress reahersal to the very end of the send off, they captured every moment perfectly. So much so that when we look back at the pictures we’re able to relive the whole wedding almost minute by minute. Another cool thing is that through the pictures and videos we were able to see things that we didn’t notice when we were there, thus enhancing what was already an amazing day! They were friendly to our families and guests, they accommodated every guest and all the pictures they requested. Even taking interviews vlogger style of the guests (hilarious and sweet) they’re social media content of the wedding was second to none and the video makes us cry every single time we watch it. To not hire Meric would have been a disservice to the rest of our lives. Now we get to re-live the best day of our lives forever. Thank you Meric! -

Meric Moments completely saved our wedding day! The resort switched their in-house photographers without warning to someone with limited experience, an unimpressive portfolio and twice the cost 😳. Luckily my wedding planner found Mel and Eric who were on their way back from another wedding in the USA but went out of their way to make our wedding date work despite the literally landslide and flooded bridges to get to our resort 5 hours from their home! We met and reviewed the exact style of photo we were looking for and came prepared to captured as many angles and photos as possible efficiently! All day they were quietly in the background and spoke up with positivity when/where needed! Took the time to make sure we even had backup vocals due to the huge tropical storm we were facing outside during our ceremony. Highly experienced, highly professional, and the absolute nicest people you will ever meet! They clearly love what they do and are exceptionally good with it! If I could do it over again they would be the FIRST vendor I would bring hire and consult!!!!! Even their pricing is upfront without hidden fees and nickel-and-diming each and every thing. If you want to have one thing go perfectly without any headache, then I’d claim their time for your event ASAP! -

Best decision I made for our wedding
When planning a wedding there are so many options and ideas it was kinda overwhelming. I went back and fourth on how much was appropriate to send on different things including our photography/ videography for our wedding when there was so many things we already had to pay for. A coworker of mine told me one day during my planning "don't compromise on the price of your photographer when it comes to your special day. Your only going to do it once and your going to look at those photos forever". My wedding package with my resort was already coming with a photographer however the work was not of meric's caliber. I couldn't take them out my package so I decided to use them both just for different events we had with meric covering the actual wedding. BEST decision ever. My pictures from the other company I don't even want printed while my photos from meric I can't stop posting and they are beyond beautiful. The pricing is high but not as high as others. Just go with them. No matter what package you get, they are amazing people to work with and the work is phenomenal. -

Mel and Eric did such an amazing job on our wedding photos, video and editing. We were lucky enough to meet them in person about a year before our wedding at our venue and they did a fabulous job bringing our vision to life and listening to our feedback throughout the process. They made us feel comfortable throughout the day and gave amazing instruction for poses and placement. We wanted mostly candids and just a few posed shots and video moments and they did just that. I think we’ve watched our long form video at least 10 times already and they just sent it a few days ago! They truly know how to capture the most special moments and bring the jungle and pura vida alive in the video and all the photos! We could not have asked for a better team, I highly recommend Meric for your wedding!! Their portfolio really speaks for itself, I was blown away by the photos on their website and ya'll, when I got our photos back I was completely floored. From our first Zoom call discussing our engagement shoot, my husband and I felt so comfortable knowing they would be the perfect duo for the job. The wire transfer deposit was super easy- having lived overseas for many years I was familiar with the process, plus they provided references to contact for peace of mind. They came to Chattanooga in April for our engagement shoot and then in October for the wedding weekend outside of Nashville. I love how they gave us some direction for posing and made for the perfect cheerleaders mid-shoot. (honestly the most appreciated and took our comfortability level through the roof, I think that comes across in the photos and video) Their creative vision and editorial-level detail with leave you with stunning and timeless photos. I have been so impressed with their composition and editing style. We weren't planning on having a videographer but wanted two photographers since video is always so expensive- these two do both!!! The quality of work for the price is not to be overlooked. Eric and Mel far surpass any wedding photographer in Tennessee, hands down. It was perfect because Mel came to the bridal Airbnb and Eric went to the groom's. Also!! The film photos came back so dreamy (those were such a beautiful surprise) Your wedding photos deserve to be works of art and Meric Moments can do just that! -

Choosing a photographer or videographer isn't an easy decision along with all the other decisions you must make when planning a wedding, especially when planning a destination wedding. Everyone expects to receive great service with a great product, however, when a company provides that when things don’t go exactly as planned is something entirely different. A day before our wedding one of the photographers became ill, but on the day of our wedding she shows up sick and all to help make sure our special day is captured and it certainly was. Some of the photos and videos taking were like they were our shadows the entire day and night. Meric really captured the true essence of our wedding day; this will allow us to relive the most beautiful and wonderful day of our lives. We could not be happier! Thank you for everything!! -

We recently had the pleasure of working with Eric and Meli for our destination wedding (Jan 2023) in Costa Rica, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. From the very beginning, they exceeded our expectations with their professionalism, creativity, and attentiveness.
We had two initial Zoom meet and greet sessions to discuss our vision and special requests, which included creating one-minute videos and executing particular photo shoot styles. Eric and Meli were not only great listeners, but they were also incredibly accommodating and understanding of our unique needs. Their responsiveness was a breath of fresh air, especially in comparison to other vendors we encountered in Costa Rica.
Over the course of three days, we met with Eric and Meli for various photoshoots. Each day, they were prompt, on time, and ready to capture the essence of our love story. Their professionalism and expertise allowed us to feel confident and relaxed throughout the entire process.
Weddings can undoubtedly be stressful, but knowing that we were in good hands with Eric and Meli alleviated a significant amount of our worries. They managed to make the experience not only stress-free but also enjoyable and memorable.
In summary, we had a fantastic experience with Eric and Meli as our wedding photographers in Costa Rica. Their ability to listen, accommodate, and capture our special moments with such grace and skill has left us with memories we will cherish forever. My husband and I had a small elopement ceremony in Costa Rica. I hired Mel & Eric at Meric Moments for our photographers and they were nothing short of outstanding. Getting married in a different country can be difficult when trying to find vendors, but Mel made the entire process so easy & smooth. She responded to my emails promptly and we set up a couple of zoom meetings in the months leading up to my wedding so we could chat about details. They are very professional and talented in what they do. You can really see how much they love their craft. They managed to keep a genuine smile on my face through the whole evening and the pictures came out STUNNING. Also, because we eloped, I didnt have a maid of honor or friends there making sure my hair & makeup stayed in place through the photoshoot, but Mel made sure to step in and fix anything that needed fixing to get the perfect shot. I highly recommend Meric Moments for any of your photography needs! Seriously... run dont walk, they are amazing. -

Choosing a wedding photographer was not a decision I made lightly, and I am so entirely grateful we found Meli & Eric. From the moment you meet them, you know immediately that you (and the cameras) are in the best hands. They are so warm and empathetic, and they spend time genuinely getting to know you prior to the wedding…which results in photos and videos that are not only stylish and excellently crafted, but unique to each couple as well. Meli & Eric truly go above and beyond in everything they do, and it is apparent how passionate they are about their work. They are professional, detail-oriented, and immediately respond to any and all questions. Though wedding planning can be stressful, I never once stressed about photography/videography after booking with Meric Moments, and it was one of the best decisions I could have made. They manage to capture every detail to reflect the essence of the day - all the natural, intimate, joyous, and even hilariously unexpected moments. Though I knew how talented they were by looking through their previous work, I was truly impressed by how quickly and naturally they adapted to any situation and turned it into an opportunity. When my husband-to-be inadvertently crashed the bridesmaids’ champagne toast at the resort spa on the day of the wedding, Meli & Eric thought of the brilliant idea to use this hiccup as a “first touch” shoot -- and I’m so happy I have the pictures and video that capture that sweet and spontaneous part of the day! Having a photography/videography team that can spin gold from any loose threads that might occur on a wedding day is priceless. So many of our guests commented on how amazing Meli & Eric were - they fit right in and made everyone feel so comfortable and special. We have so many great things to say about the dynamic duo of Meric Moments (Eric & Mel). Very early on when we started looking for photo/videographers we kept striking out with local options here at home in Canada. We knew finding someone in Costa Rica let alone that we fully trusted would be a tall task.
My wife found Meric Moments on the internet, and from our first introduction video call together both our minds were already starting to be put at ease. We really liked the fact that they too themselves are a married couple and super passionate about what they do for a living. They really worked with us both on budget/pricing and ideas for particular photos/shots, a true collaborative effort at it's very best.
The day of our wedding, they were prompt/on time and ready for action. They liked how willing, loose and open to their direction we were that it made the process so much more fun. After seeing how the photos and videos all turned out we couldn't be anymore happier and thrilled. We cannot thank you two enough for helping us make our cinematic vision come to life, you understood the assignment!

Dream Photographers
We met Meric at a friend's wedding and loved how involved they were in the video and photography of our friends. Once we saw the video we knew we wanted to work with them. They met us in Caratagena, Colombia where we got married and captured additional moments for us that we didn't even think about. Even though it was a new city for them they did everything they needed to do to select the right locations for our pictures. I want to thank the Méric team from the bottom of my heart, I had never met a team as committed to an illusion as they are.
They are really professional, creative, fun and talented guys. Words are just not enough to express how highly I recommend them.
I also recommend doing a post-wedding session (trust me, you’ll not regret it), because during the wedding there is often not enough time to do all the ideas that are in mind, and because it’s really fun to put on the wedding clothes again and enjoy the photo and video session without the nerves of the big day.

Best decision and day ever
We hired Meric to record our weeding day experience, they were amazing all the time. Always with a great attitude, explaining and giving clear instructions during the event and also before the event so we could know what to expect and what to do in certain situations. They have the best and last technology filming devices to capture every single moment.
We had a great time that day and when we got the video we watched it over and over million of times cause it felt like we were living that day again.
We gained not only excellent professionals but also amazing human beings.
Right now my wife is pregnant and we know they will be in charge of capturing the special moments of the process. They are the type of forever in life vendor! -

Mel and Eric seemed like they were going to be a great fit for our wedding. They met with me twice on zoom prior to the wedding, and they were prompt to those meetings, asked good questions about what we wanted for our wedding pictures etc. However, when it came to the day of the wedding, they screwed up the date and weren't there. Pretty much the most important part of photographing a wedding is actually showing up to it. We got married on a Thursday, which at the time that we booked Mel and Eric said was great, because they already had most of their weekends booked up. The date of our wedding never changed, from my first email, through all our conversations, it was always on Thursday. Somehow though, they screwed up the date. A few days before the wedding, Meric made a group chat on whatsapp with them and my husband and me. The title of the chat was our names and the correct date of the wedding. When we arrived at the resort, we provided them our room number, some more details of when to expect them were exchanged, and the last message I typed was "see you Thursday". They both liked that message, welcomed us to Costa Rica, and said that they were excited for our wedding. On Thursday morning I sent a message to say that the girls and I were almost done in hair and makeup and asked them when to expect them. They sent a message confirming that we were scheduled for Saturday. What? Hours before the wedding was supposed to begin they were still at their house 4+ hours away because somehow, despite talking about the date every time we spoke, they had BOTH screwed up the date and thought the wedding was Saturday. I truly do not understand how this level of incompetence is possible when your entire business relies upon being in the right place at the right time. They immediately did get to work on trying to find someone to sub for them, since they realized they could not make it in time. Relatively quickly they did find a replacement photographer and he started to head our way. They also told us that they had found a substitute videographer, but he didn't reply to any of my messages when I tried to reach out. To make a long story short, we ended up delaying our ceremony by an hour to allow the substitutes to show up, and we are very lucky that the resort was flexible enough to allow us to do this or else we would have had no photos of the ceremony. The substitute videographer did end up showing up as well, but he was not a professional videographer, he was just a young kid with a drone and the footage is basically useless because it's all sorts of weird angles and you can't even hear our vows. Mel and Eric eventually did show up, after dinner and after everything important was wrapped up. They apologized and were very upset, but didn't really offer any explanation of how this happened. They seemed that night like they realized how much they messed up and they wanted to fix it.
The morning following our wedding, we received an email sneak peak from them with a few of the photos, and they proposed that they would offer us a 25% refund "for the lost two hours of coverage". The fact that they thought all we lost from this experience was 2 hours of coverage was absolutely insulting. If I ran a business where I messed up this badly, I would have without question given the customer a full refund AND expedited getting their photos to them. After a ton of back and forth, we settled on a 65% refund and they just sent us the raw footage of the videos, rather than doing any editing (because the footage is essentially useless anyways). Personally, I don't think we should have had to pay them anything for this. Even though they had to hire others to cover for them, Meric did the "editing" of the photos, and even though it didn't seem like they even did much editing it took them their full 12 weeks to complete. Despite the fact that they had been to blame for seriously messing up our wedding day, they didn't try to get our photos to us faster, or fix some of the issues in the few group photos that we had with good editing. After such a massive error, they should have tried a lot harder to make it right. Instead, their first move was to negotiate cost, and block me on instagram so that I could post there.
I don't want to say that Meric ruined our wedding, because I refuse to give them that power, but they did negatively alter a lot of the core memories of the day. I didn't want to experience anger and regret on my wedding day, and unfortunately I regret this choice of vendor. Because of their error, I have fewer positive memories of getting ready with my girls, almost no pictures of that, and we had to delay our wedding for an hour. The guys have zero getting ready photos. We skipped a first look, and didn't get to take any photos before the ceremony so we could attend our cocktail hour. They messed up hugely, and didn't really handle reparations of their mistake very well either. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this vendor.
