  Best Rehearsal Dinner

  Mere Bulles was absolutely perfect! The food is always amazing, but the service for our rehearsal dinner couldn’t be topped! We had 2 incredibly professional servers that were on top of everything for our group and the night was just perfect.

  Wedding reception

  Mere Bulles has been amazing to work with and so accommodating. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reception or rehearsal dinner location. They take care of every detail and it's such a beautiful old historic home. Caty did an amazing job handling the planning and setting everything up for our day. The food was amazing and the service was exceptional. Everyone was so friendly and professional. Thank you to Mere Bulles for making our special day even more special.

  Charming and tasty!

  Mere Bulles was perfect! The old historic home made it a perfect setting for a small southern wedding. Elegant and casual at the same time. They take care of everything for you! Caty did a great job handling the planning and took care of setting up everything for our big day! Wedding in the living room and the reception in the sun room. Since we had our wedding at an incredible restaurant the food was insanely tasty (three courses and the chocolate fountain!). Sit down lunch with personalized menus and such great service! Thank you so much Mere Bulles!

  Best Newly Wed Brunch Ever!!!!

  My husband and I hosted our Newly Wed Brunch at Mere Bulles the day after our wedding, and there aren't enough words to describe how amazing it truly was. From their DELICIOUS brunch (arguably the best I have ever had, and I live in NYC), to the most pleasant and helpful staff, everything was fantastic!!!
  Caty was wonderful to work with leading up to our private party, always available for communication, she was kind, caring, and professional. She was focused on every detail, and helped make the day perfect.
  Vernon worked with us on the day of the brunch, and he is also incredible! His service was impeccable, it almost seemed as though there were Vernon clones based on how he was able to be in multiple places all at once! He was warm and welcoming to every single one of our guest (all 100+), greating each person as they entered. He lead the staff helping us that day effortlessly. He brought a smile to the face of every person he spoke with, and made each of us feel very special. A truly one of a kind person!
  Let's talk about the food for one minute, Oh my goodness! If you ever go for brunch, you MUST try the creme brulee French toast, it is TO DIE FOR! Not to mention the fact that they provide the best brunch buffet selection!
  The wonderful service and delicious food was accompanied by the beauty that is the mansion that this restaurant is situated in. Filled with classic charm, a beautiful balcony on the 2nd floor, and wonderful decor, everything looked perfect.
  I would 100% recommend Mere Bulles for any party you are planning, a Sunday brunch with your family, or a date night with your significant other. You cannot go wrong in this beautiful restaurant!

  rehearsal dinner venue

  We planned a rehearsal dinner at an out of town site, and Caty was tremendous throughout the process. She responded quickly, answering every question and patiently making adjustments. On the night of the event, every detail was perfectly executed. The venue was beautiful, the food was exceptional, and the servers were personable and professional. Thanks to Mere Bulles for a lovely event!

  We had our wedding and reception at this beautiful venue. We didn't want our guest driving all over town so we had everything at one place. The wedding was outside on their patio and was beautiful with all of our flowers. Then the party went inside so that everyone could enjoy the incredible food. I had so many people weeks later tell me how happy they were with the food and mood of our wedding. (we went for an old hollywood feel) The staff here is incredible and bend over backwards to get everything you want. I love this place and recommend it to everyone.

  I used Mere Bulles for my rehearsal dinner for 50 people. The food and service there were fantastic!
  
  The interior decor of this old antebellum home combinies a few modern elements with traditional southern style to create a rich and inviting atmosphere in which to host your event.
  
  Carlin, the lady in charge of events, is incredible! She was so helpful throughout the entire planning process. She sat with me for over two hours the first time we met, going over menu details, table linens, seating charts, gave me a tour of the restaurant, and introduced me to the chef (who brought out a sample of a new recipe that he was trying out- we liked it so much we asked him to include it on our menu, and he did!) She was wonderful to work with! She was always very prompt in returning my phone calls, and met with me more than once to finalize details. She even changed my head count less than 24 hours before the event when we had a last minute cancellation! After getting to work with Carlin, I almost wish that we had done our wedding reception there instead of just the rehearsal dinner!
  
  As for the food, it was out of this world. Mere Bulles has always been one of my favorite restaurants in Brentwood, but I was more than a little bit impressed by the quality of the food. We got so many compliments on the food! People were still talking about it at the wedding the next day. Their crab bisque is to die for, and I highly recommend the lemon artichoke chicken as well. Fantastic! You'll leave full but still wanting more!
  
  The service is some of the best I've ever seen, especially when catering to a crowd that size. There was no waiting between courses, and the waiters anticipated our every need. Every time I asked a question, the answer was "It's already been taken care of!" Jason was our lead waiter, and absolutely fantastic at his job. He explained the menu to everyone, led the entire event, and was so friendly to everyone! One of my bridesmaids liked him so much, she left him her phone number! My sister commented that you don't get service this good at a resort or on a cruise.
  
  I would recommend Mere Bulles as the location for your rehearsal dinner or wedding reception. They have spaces that can accommodate almost any size group! I've got a friend who just recently got engaged, and I'm trying to convince her to have her wedding reception here just so I can attend another event here!

  Carlin of Mere Bulles and her staff were a pleasure to work with. Although pricey, our reception dinner was outstanding and service was excellent. The tables were elegantly decorated by Mere Bulles.
  Negatives include: there was not a lot of room to dance or mingle with guests and an error was made on our bill; however, Carlin apologized and quickly corrected it.
  I would highly recommend Mere Bulles for a quiet reception - very nicely done!
