A Night We’ll Never Forget
We can’t thank you enough for making our wedding so special. From the ceremony to the last dance, every moment was perfect.
Your DJ services were amazing. The music fit every part of the day, from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception. The way you read the crowd kept our guests on the dance floor all night. Your MC skills were awesome. You made announcements feel smooth and fun and kept the night flowing without a hitch.
The photo booth was a huge hit. Friends and family kept going back to it all evening. The props and setup brought out so many laughs and great memories.
We are eager to watch our final wedding video, though what you captured on the day was already phenomenal. Every part felt natural, joyful, and full of life.

The perfect wedding DJ!
We can't say enough good things about Shane! From our very first conversation, I knew he was the perfect fit for our wedding. He was the first (and only) DJ we interviewed. He was easy to talk to and truly passionate about what he does. After our pre-wedding planning meeting, I remember thinking, "I nailed this vendor!" lol. On wedding day, he provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and even created a custom version of my aisle song by blending two tracks I loved! He kept everything running smoothly, handled all announcements effortlessly, read the room perfectly, and kept the vibe exactly where it needed to be all night long. We also rented his digital photobooth, which was a huge hit. It came with all photo accessories, and there was always a line every time I looked over. Out of all our vendors, Shane was hands-down our favorite. We thoroughly enjoyed working with him and couldn’t be happier with the role he played in making our day so memorable. Shane absolutely rocked our wedding! From the second the dance floor opened, it was packed until the end of the very last song. He worked with our song picks, games and special shoutout requests and keep the energy up all night! Packages include uplighting, video screen facing the dance floor, custom monogram and even meta glasses for extra video coverage across the room. He even recommended our saxophone player (Richards Entertainment) who people are still talking about. If youre looking for someone to bring the party and who doesn’t need direction to make the vibes high, this is your guy! -

Shane is the BEST
Shane 100% made our wedding!! Throughout the entire planning process he was extremely professional and communicative to our many questions and ideas (including one final change the morning of the wedding). He helped us think through and reorganize our run of show, including perfectly integrating a few live songs played by my brother in law! Shane took on our music request with excitement, especially after hearing we wanted house music that could somehow vibe with guests of all ages. To no surprise, Shane created the set of our dreams! The dance floor didn’t slow down for a second and had both kids and grandparents dancing until the last song…and then the last song after that when the full floor chanted for one more!! Beyond excited to recommend Shane to everyone we know and come up with another excuse to celebrate and have him DJ!! -

Non-Stop Fun!! Shane is the BEST around!
Our June 2024 wedding at Quidnessett Country Club was everything we dreamed of and more, thanks to Shane! From the very beginning, he was so easy to talk to and made planning such a breeze. He was confident, organized, and really listened to what we wanted, which made the whole process so much less stressful. Knowing we had him running the show on our big day let us just relax and enjoy every moment.
The reception was an absolute blast! The dance floor was packed all night, and Shane kept the energy high with the perfect mix of music. Our guests had so much fun dancing, and we’re still hearing about how amazing the party was. On top of that, the Photo Booth was a huge hit! People couldn’t get enough of it, and we love having all the hilarious pictures as memories from the night.

Shane Made Our Wedding the Party of a Lifetime!
Shane was absolutely AMAZING! He completely nailed it and made our wedding at OceanCliff the best party ever. From the ceremony to cocktail hour and the reception, the music was perfect. He set the vibe for every moment, and when it came time to hit the dance floor—WOW! The lighting was on point, and the energy was through the roof.
Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how much fun they had. Shane kept everyone dancing all night long, and he somehow played exactly what we wanted without us even having to ask. It was like he could read the room and just knew what would keep the party going.

Incredible DJ & Videography
Shane was the absolute best. I booked him initially as our DJ and later before our final meeting ended up using him as our videographer as well. He was so accommodating to the additional service! Fast forward to wedding day, from setting up for the ceremony audio to the actual reception Shane was amazing. My guests said he was the best DJ they’ve ever had at a wedding, and literally are still talking about how much fun they had. Also just saw the video and WOW it did not disappoint!!! The attention to detail is “chefs kiss”. So thankful he captured all our moments to relive now!! 12/10 would recommend him for your wedding!! -

Party professional extraordinaire
Shane with Mercier Music Weddings and Events was the consummate professional for our wedding entertainment. His communication throughout the planning process was personal, prompt and respectful, making us feel like valued clients. The sound quality and song selection the day-of was excellent. Shane interacted with our guests and could read the room, knowing just when to transition the music from our first dance into the next activity. He kept the style of music going that appealed to all our guests, from young to old. Shane's ability to read the room and keep all age groups engaged really made for an interactive and fun reception. The ONLY DJ you should consider!!!
All we can say is WOW. Shane was so awesome. He made the night incredible, the dance floor was packed from open to close. Our family and friends are still raving about it over a month later and they've all said it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding and it was because of Shane. We also did videography and the photo booth with him as well which I highly recommend both!! The entire experience was awesome. He made everything so smoothly and fun, we seriously cannot recommend him enough, and neither can all of our guests!!

October 2024 wedding
We had first seen Shane at one of my friends wedding and we at that wedding we did not leave the dance floor, fast forward to years later and when looking for our own dj for our wedding without hesitation I know Shane would be our guy! Not only was our dance floor packed all night but Shane also was extremely attentive to us and was available before and during our wedding with any of our requests or needs and checked in throughout the wedding day to make sure everything was going great! Shane was the first vendor we were interested in (even before we found our venue!) His ad really jumped out at me. It featured a picture of a bride on a dance floor wearing sunglasses surrounded by a group of people. I saw that picture and thought YES, I want a wedding like that and I want to be just like her! Quickly within our first conversation I knew he was going to be our dj. He was easy to talk to and I could tell that he enjoys what he does and really wants to make his couples happy. He provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and everything was flawless! I’m a very picky person when it comes to music, ambiance and setting the mood. The music transitions were perfect during the ceremony and his mashups during the reception were awesome! He even offered a little toast after the speeches which was so sweet! He really understood the vibe we were going for and nailed it. Several people came up to us and said that the playlist was amazing and everyone had the best time! When you’re planning your wedding, you want people to match your happiness and excitement. Shane did that which meant a lot to me. I wish I could redo our wedding every year and hire Shane every single time. Professional, courteous and kind. We cannot recommend him enough! -

My husband and I are avid wedding go-ers, so our expectations are always high. Know what we look forward to at each of these weddings? The DJ keeping us on the dance floor all night. The one where you’re at the bar ordering a drink and a song comes on and you run to the dance floor to bust it down. Well, Shane did just that PLUS some… four years ago, we met Shane at a Starbucks and it was “love at first song request” lol! We COVID eloped in 2020 and had our big vow ceremony on 10/1/22, so finally having Shane do his thing at our wedding was nothing short of amazing! He ensured all of my song requests, don’t-play requests & everything in between was played. He also managed to catch some sweet highlight video footage of some super memorable moments throughout the day. He came and visited me where I waited before the ceremony began and made me feel so comfortable and excited, some DJs don’t even come from behind their booths at a wedding. Shane is no longer just someone who worked at my wedding, but he’s now family. The guy dealt with all the craziness and partying from my friends and family that night and I couldn’t be any happier as to how everything went on our big day! I’m telling you, you won’t regret hiring Shane Mercier as your wedding DJ! -

If you are looking for a fun, energetic, engaging, charismatic DJ, look no further. Shane is the one and only DJ you need on your list. When I first started looking for a DJ, I did not know what to look for. Obviously, good reviews but who knew there was so much else to consider, like type of vibe you want for your wedding/reception, type of music you want played for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. How much MCing there will be or will not be, someone who will listen to your every request. Shane checked off every, single, box. When Shane and I initially got in contact, we had a 45-minute phone consultation about the wants and needs of what my husband and I were looking for our reception. Shane new exactly the type of vibe we were looking for and was on the same page when it came to music choices for cocktail hour vs reception. He asked for us to send him 5 songs that we would want played at the reception during dance hours and he put a mix together with the songs so we could listen to how he transitioned them and kept the party flow going. We were immediately impressed and signed the contract with him the same day. Fast forward to a week or so before the reception, Shane sent us some forms to fill out with questions, must have songs and do not play song requests. When we met him at the reception venue on wedding day, he was there over an hour early to start setting up and when he was done putting all the equipment together, he changed into wedding attire to fit the dress code. Cocktail hour was soon underway, and Shane got the mood going with the music we asked for. Meanwhile, he walked around and got to know our guests, had a couple of appetizers, a beverage here and there, he even took some amazing video of the bride and groom (he should be a videographer on the side). We loved that he blended in and enjoyed himself, he got along with our friends and family as if he had been a lifelong friend. Once cocktail hour ended, Shane was there to keep our timeline moving with our first dance, mother and son dance, father and daughter dance, and we had a video we wanted played so he made sure to help set up the projector and connect to his sound system to ensure the whole crowd could hear. Shane did not miss a beat of what we needed all night long. He played all our must play songs and was sure to not play any of the songs on our do not play list. He kept the dance floor PACKED all night long, he even played 20 minutes after we were supposed to wrap up because so many people were having such a great time. I got compliments all night long from friends and family at how great the playlist of music was and how easy it was to stay on the dance floor the way Shane mixes his beats. We wanted a party and Shane delivered. We cannot thank Shane enough for providing us with an unforgettable evening. -

RIght from the beginning, Shane was great to work with. Very responsive for our initial consultation. Of course we were nervous to book any vendor since it was January 2020 and the vaccines hadn’t been rolled out yet. But he added a Covid-clause that made us feel comfortable booking him. As we got closer to our day, Shane sent us a reminder about filling out our music sheet, to keep us on track. When the day arrived, we had a few “misunderstandings” with our day-of coordinator. Shane jumped right in, and helped smooth things over and filled in all the gaps. Some of the songs I requested were unusual acoustic covers - he assured me that he’d be able to get them for me no problem. And it was exactly how I wanted it. He was on-time, professional, and great to work with. Don’t hesitate to book with Shane. Thank you, Shane, for making our dream wedding a reality. -

Shane knows how to get the party going...We had people on our dance floor that I hadn't seen dance anywhere else!

Unfortunately, due to COVID, we had to postpone our wedding twice, but Shane was always there! We not only had a DJ but also a friend!

Our wedding was truly amazing and we give a huge amount of credit to DJSHANEOMAC for that, our DJ/emcee Shane was absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish. He was always so responsive and really helped us figure out what would work best any time we were indecisive. Shane took a ton of time to get to know us and made sure our wedding truly reflected our personal style. And everyone had such a great time, which was really the most important thing to us. Family and friends are still telling us how much fun they had at our wedding and giving us compliments on Shane! DJSHANEOMAC was honestly one of the best decisions we made, so seriously, if you are still looking for your DJ - STOP. You will not be disappointed! Highly HIGHLY recommend! -

I would absolutely recommend Shane ! He was tentative, and responded quickly and worked with us and everything we wanted for our wedding day ! He even got out on the dance floor with us at one point to show us some moves ! Extremely engaging and friendly ! Meeting with Shane for the first time was so comfortable and he really made us feel taken care of ! We didn’t have to worry about anything the entire night of our wedding ! He kept the party going with amazing song choices that fit our style and accommodating us for specific songs we wanted ! Shane was an absolute pleasure to work with. From the very beginning he was professional yet fun and energetic. You can really tell he loves what he does. His excitement and charisma are contagious, and he kept everyone on the dance floor all night! The way he mixed the songs into one another created a seamless flow throughout the night. He also did a great job with reception introductions (of which we had a lot), and just emceeing the event in general. In terms of pre-wedding preparation, we had one in-person meeting at the beginning where he gave us forms to take home and fill out (writing down different song choices, the names of everyone in the wedding party, introduction order, etc), then we had a phone call the week before the wedding to go over final details. In between that time I was able to text/email him with any questions I had, and he was very good about responding and answering my questions. Overall we were super happy with everything! :) Thank you Shane for making our wedding so fun! -

Shane Mercier is the best wedding DJ ever! I've known Shane for a few years working with him on the ambulance. He told me way back in 2016 that he was a DJ and I said to him "when I get married, you're my guy" and was he ever! From planning to execution, he was there the whole time. The day of the wedding was amazing and he was so professional! From introductions to getting the party going, he was on top of it all and it went flawlessly. He has his own special mix of songs that kept people dancing and on the dancefloor. This is a video HE recorded that night and it came out amazing! Our party was incredibly energetic. He kept the crowd alive, he offered nice structure and best of all he was incredibly energetic. He’s a guy who loves what he does and is extremely good at it too. I had a couple of very odd requests and let me tell you he met every one of them. He was willing to work with me and answered every question we had. Shane is definitely the guy you want if you want a lot of stress taken off your big day.

One thing that stood out to me was how well he read the crowd. When he noticed things slowing down, he got everyone up and dancing by switching things up. I swear, it’s as if he was a mind reader! He carried our wedding from start to finish. I’m an incredibly happy bride and my guests are still talking about how amazing he was 2 months after my wedding. No matter what we asked him to incorporate into the reception, he was more than happy to oblige! It has been over a month now since the wedding, everyone is still talking about how much fun they had! We had guests that normally don’t stay very long at weddings, but they were having so much fun, they stayed until the very end!
Our color scheme was plum, white and lavender. Whenever Shane added his purple up lighting, it was breathtaking!! We highly recommend James for any event you need a DJ for! -

Jocelyne Sent on 10/04/2018In the early stages of planning our wedding, my husband and I agreed that we had rather high expectations for our DJ. Entertainment was our#1 priority for our reception. The second we saw Shane's promo video we knew we needed him! Once we reached out to Shane we immediately had such a great feeling, about hiring him. He doesn't welcome you with a cold sales pitch, but rather a warm, inviting and humorous personality. I am an awful neurotic planner, but thanks to Shane I never once worried. He walked us through every step and gave us a great time line to get everything into place (song list, games, order of events, etc.) On our big day August 18th, 2018 Shane took control in such a way I had never seen, perfectly getting our Wedding Party's attention and having them in order within seconds. I also have to commend Shane for taking a challenge and absolutely crushing it! I gave him two unusual "mixing" requests,A thousand Years-Christina Perri and Rick Astley's-Never Gonna Give You Up (to rick roll our guests) he pulled this off in the funniest way and really got what we were going for with a light-hearted entrance. My second request was two Father-Daughter dance songs that certainly do not usually match up in anyway. I was absolutely impressed when he so beautifully mixed Butterfly Kisses-Bob Carlisle with No one's Gonna Love You (More Than I Do)-Band of Horses. I really didn't think they could be properly meshed, but oh my were we blown away. He is one incredible master of ceremonies, each part of our night transitioned so beautifully and with Shane's insightful words. When it came time for our guests to dance the night away with us, Shane brought out party animals in EVERY ONE! He was amazing at taking requests that truly matched the night and our crowd perfectly. Almost every guest was on the dance floor most of the night, I am still receiving comments about how incredible Shane was. He has an amazing talent and is absolutely amazing to work with!

First of all, he was so easy to talk to, and so enthusiastically down for everything we wanted. On the morning of our wedding he was in touch with both Steve and I, to let us know everything was good to go (peace of mind!). The ceremony and reception played out like a dream. His whole set up - DJ Booth, up-lighting, projection decals, was so professional and fun looking! I've received so many compliments from our wedding guests about the music and how gorgeous the room looked. We both highly recommend Shane to anyone looking! He was so accommodating to all of my personal requests, like bringing a drum set so my brother can jump in as well as bringing the equipment so my brother was able to surprise my parents and sing/play guitar for our First Dance song. I can't imagine our wedding with Shane, so many people complimented us on our DJ and had a blast! I can't thank him enough, so glad I went with you!

Shane was the best! He kept my dance floor packed all night. He was easy to work with, listened to our bizarre requests, and gave us great advice on musical selections that we were struggling with. He even accommodated a last minute uplighting snafu that we hadn't considered.
