Perfect Venue

Mackenzie is so sweet and will help you every step of the way with planning your wedding there. The staff was so nice and friendly during the event. Beautiful golf course for photos as well, I was so happy with the way everything turned out for my wedding there

Chefs kiss! Absolute perfection

Let me start with the breaded ravioli. It was so so good. My guests are still talking about it. I had my wedding reception at Mercer oaks this past weekend and I was blown away by everything. The space is absolutely beautiful, we loved working with Mackenzie, food was amazing and the price was very very reasonable. The room was set up exactly as we wished and everything was very easy and straight forward. They set up the bridal suite for us with our own spread of appetizers I was able to munch on as my dress was bustled and got ready to join our guests. They were flexible with what we wanted and we just love Mackenzie. I'll be recommending Mercer oaks to all my friends hoping I get to attend another event there.

Wedding august 18th

Gianna was a pleasure. She was very professional. She made my wedding easy to plan and was just a phone call/email away. Her personality was a plus and we got along so well! I would definitely reccomend this venue for weddings/events.

Samantha and Noel did everything to help make our wedding day such an amazing and stress free experience! They always responded to my 1001 emails and was there to give us advice.
Our wedding details were admired by all our loved ones. Hats off to the food staff, our guest raved about the hors d’oeuvres. They were so good our guest said they didn’t even need dinner. Samantha and Noel did a fabulous job setting up, organizing and making the night so memorable! Our wedding day was incredible and having them there allowed us to really enjoy each moment without worrying about anything.

We had our wedding at Mercer Oaks on June 24, 2017. It was amazing! Everyone at Mercer Oaks and especially Samantha are great! All of our questions were answered, the service we received was incredible, the food was outstanding and the day of little issues were handled professionally. This was our second event there and we willba back for more!!

I cannot begin to review this venue. It was absolutely amazing. First off, it was beyond affordable and gave us the most items in terms of choices of meals, apps, beverages, etc. Samantha is AMAZING. She transformed my wedding into exactly what I wanted, I dropped all of my stuff off the day before and when I walked into the venue on my big day it exceed my expectations. Mercer Oaks is definitely a hidden gem. I will book future events here as well.

Samantha is absolutely amazing. She was quick to respond through e-mails, phone calls and even text messages a few days leading up to the wedding. Professional yet straight forward. When visiting other venues they are aggressive and just try to continually update. With Mercer Oaks, Samantha gave us a clear cut options that did not make us feel uncomfortable at any point. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We had many guests including myself that had allergies. Mercer Oaks made sure that everyone was able to enjoy their meals while meeting personal needs. Samantha was wonderful to work with and open to suggestions and gave great ones as well. With her I did not feel like just another face or just another client I truly felt that she was attentive to our wants and needs as bride and groom. Any one who can expierence Samantha and her staff is truly in for a treat. Thank you Mercer Oaks you helped make our day truly magical.

Mercer Oaks is the perfect wedding venue! The event planner in charge, Samantha, is amazing! She is so quick to answer any questions and she was very helpful and offered great advice for our big day! The food is delicious and the waitstaff was very attentive on our wedding day.

You guys seriously need to use Mercer Oaks. The venue is beautiful, the food is INSANELY GOOD, and, best of all, the service the staff (especially Samantha!) provided was outrageously good. I couldn't have envisioned a better day if I tried. I appreciated that Samantha made it easy for us. Neither of us were super aware of how wedding planning was supposed to be, and we really appreciated Samantha's expertise.

To top it off, I haven't seen anyone as accommodating as Mercer Oaks in terms of menu choices. I am vegetarian, and usually the venues I spoke to would say something like, "oh, we have a great salad and veggies!".... well, that's great... but I WANTED TO EAT AT MY WEDDING! Not only did I have TONS of choices to choose from for appetizers and the meal, but the wait staff and Samantha made sure I ate a TON on my special day. It was honestly one of the most important things to my husband and I... we both wanted a minute to sit down and eat the food we paid for! We had a blast.

I didn't have to be nervous about planning things or things going wrong (which didn't happen at Mercer Oaks, by the way) because I knew Samantha was flexible and professional. She was so capable of making whatever I threw her way work. She was a dream to work with.

While I won't be getting married again, I hope I can use Mercer Oaks for something else in the future. The service we received was everything we wanted and more. And the value... oh, don't get me started. It was so reasonable, especially compared to everything else in this area. I honestly still can't believe how great the value was. We received an open bar, great food (cocktails, buffet, and desserts, fondue fountain, and more!), place settings, great wait staff, a ceremony beautifully set up for under $10,000. That's unheard of!

In the end, I can't say enough positive things about Mercer Oaks. I don't usually review things, but Mercer Oaks was so special that I wanted them to receive the recognition they deserve!

This venue was the perfect place for our wedding. My family, and friends were happy when the night was complete. Samantha is an angel. She is very kind, patient and helpful. She went to the moon and back to help us with whatever was needed. On, our wedding day, Samantha and her staff were serious professionals. Everything was on point. We didn't want for anything.

My guest were so happy. They let me know that the food was hot, good and plenty. And we agree.

Special thanks to Jackie, and the rest of the staff members.

Samantha, thank you very much for all your help. Not sure what I would have done without you.

The Mercer Oaks was an absolute dream come true!!! We were looking for a beautiful venue and had looked at MANY before coming to the Mercer Oaks. We walked out, and instantly walked back in and booked it on the spot!
Samantha is incredible! I have had so many friends have horrible experiences with their venue's event planners and I absolutely LOVED Samantha! Detail oriented, always prepared and on point with every single little detail of our day. I truly felt like I did not have to think about anything at all or worry one single bit about or on our day.
The outside space is amazing - our pictures are incredible and our outdoor ceremony could not have been any better. All of our guests are still saying that this is the BEST food they have had at a wedding! The cake was also the best red velvet cake I've ever had in my life - overall just incredible.
The space is beautiful and we could not be happier about everything from the very first food tasting to our wedding day!!
The servers are amazing - I didn't have an empty drink all night long, there was someone personally dedicated to us and every one of our guests. I would recommend the Mercer Oaks to anyone looking for a venue!! Incredible value and what you get for such an affordable price is truly priceless. Thank you!!!

Where do I begin? Living in New York City, it was hard to find a venue that fit my vision of the wedding I wanted (not over the top, rustic...a "love letter to Autumn" if you will). Mercer Oaks was a gem of a find, my sister living only 10 minutes away...As soon as my fiance and I saw it and met Samantha, there was really no other option; no point in looking further. We found IT. The ceremony space is beautiful, Samantha's amazing care and service is top notch the fact that it was an indoor/outdoor venue oh my goodness...I can go on and on.

I write this review 3 days after my wedding and I'm still in awe. My family and friends are continuously raving about the food, the friendly servers, the kind and sweet bartender, the ambiance.......Everyone is asking for the contact info so that they can plan future parties here because it is THAT amazing. GO FOR IT!

Mercer Oaks went above and beyond to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. Our guests have told us repeatedly that the food was by far the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Samantha did a wonderful job helping us plan, answering every question that we had, and setting up the reception exactly as I had imagined it. Samantha thinks of every detail and makes sure that your day is incredible. Mercer Oaks is a beautiful venue which your guests will be talking about for years!

My husband and I were married on April 10, 2015. I cannot say enough how pleased we are to have had our reception at Mercer Oaks. Samantha, the event coordinator there, was very responsive to E-mails and phone calls, she offered helpful guidance throughout the planning process (without being pushy or assuming), and on the wedding day took care of every detail and guided us through the day so we didn’t worry about a thing. Plus, the food was phenomenal- we continue to get compliments from our guests! Furthermore the staff is outstanding. They were courteous, attentive, and responsive to our guest requests. At one point I was so overheated in my heavy wedding dress I couldn’t stop sweating. I asked for the room to be cooler and they immediately ran to adjust the thermostat-literally. I would highly recommend Mercer Oaks to any bride looking for delicious food, exceptional customer service, and just an overall memorable experience that exceeds expectations.

We recently hosted our daughter's wedding at Mercer Oaks. From the beginning, we felt welcomed and comfortable. Samantha coordinates the events and she took care of every detail perfectly. She was easy to work with, organized, and very accommodating with anything for which we asked.

The day was perfect. No detail was forgotten. It was beautifully decorated, the food from the cocktail hour to the dinner to the desserts was fantastic! I would recommend that anyone planning a wedding, or any event, look into Mercer Oaks!

My experience with Mercer Oaks was absolutely perfect. Sam is as amazing as everyone says. She's friendly, professional, and knows what she's doing. All of the catering staff members were SO great to me and the guests. It rained the day of our wedding but I didn't have a care in the world. They handled everything & I had nothing to worry about. The site is beautiful & there is only one wedding at a time. The food is AMAZInG! There are different options available, we chose stations and we had so many delicious options. Everything was great. People can't stop complimenting the wedding, especially the food! Highly recommend this venue.

Mercer Oaks was a fantastic venue to work with! Sam was really helpful and set up the room beautifully! She even took us out onto the course with our photographer to get some amazing pictures.

My husband and I are STILL hearing about how amazing the food was! Each course was served fresh and hot. Our transportation from the hotel to the venue got lost so some guests showed up almost half an hour late, but we were able to extend cocktail hour by about 15 minutes with gave those guests time to enjoy the vast array of food Mercer Oaks offers. The passed apps were PILED on as to get to as many people as possible. It's always been a pet-peeve of mine when waiters come out with 20 apps on a tray for 150 guests and only the people by the door get to enjoy them.

I would recommend Mercer Oaks for any event - Sam is wonderful and the staff is well mannered and attentive!

I can't say enough about how wonderful my wedding was at Mercer Oaks. The staff is very professional and responded quickly to any concerns I had. The food was amazing! My guests are still raving about it. The value for how much you get as well as the quality I don't think can be beat anywhere else!

WOW!! From the moment I called Mercer Oaks, the catering supervisor, Samantha was amazing!! She helped me plan the party, answered my questions, dealt with my craziness and really made my daughter's sweet 16 party a huge success!! Our event took place during a snow storm and the staff at Mercer Oaks had the place ready to go for 80 guests like it was a warm summer day! The grounds were nicely plowed and cleared, the restaurant was gorgeous and the food was fabulous!! Samantha arranged for everything and it was perfect!!! This is definitely a venue you need to consider for all of your parties! An absolute pleasure!!

I am incredibly happy with how everything turned out at Mercer Oaks. We arrived at Mercer Oaks a very happy newlywed couple and became extremely happy when we saw how beautifully everything had been set up. The food was amazing and there was ALOT of it. Everything was well organized and planned beautifully down to the last detail. Samantha, the wedding coordinator, was very attentive and helpful from day one, throughout the entire wedding planning process, to the very end of our wedding day! I felt at ease knowing that she would just take care of everything. Our guests were very happy with the food and the service and some even want to know what kind of coffee they serve! I couldn't have asked for a better wedding!

I could not have been happier with Mercer Oaks as the location for my wedding ceremony and reception. Samantha was so easy to work with and was always available to answer any questions or address any concerns that we had. We kept hearing how amazing the food was, and it definitely lived up to our expectations. The venue was set up beautifully on our wedding day, and Samantha was calm and flexible considering that our ceremony was supposed to be outside and there were thunderstorms throughout the afternoon. We ended up having the ceremony inside, and even though it wasn’t planned that way, it was perfect. The reception was just as we imagined and it was truly the best day of our lives thanks to the staff and the beautiful venue. We really can’t say enough about Mercer Oaks and would recommend this venue to any bride!

Mercer Oaks exceeded ALL of my expectations for the night. We have attended events there in the past but they blew all my previous experience with them out of the water. Samantha was wonderful to work with and just made magic happen that night for us. The food was amazing and we had multiple people compliment and rave about everything from the appetizers all the way through desert and the chocolate fountain. I can't thank them enough for all they've done for us. Thank you!!

We just had our wedding at Mercer Oaks last weekend (4/20/13). My husband and I fell in love with this site the first time we saw it. The grounds are beautiful, the ballroom elegant and tasteful. And Samantha is a pleasure to work with, always calm and confident and quick to answer our questions or concerns. We loved that everything was included in the price, no surprises regarding tip or tax, and the cake was included, too! And it was still cheaper than any other place we looked at, but you wouldn't know it from the quality you receive. Everyone at our wedding raved about the food and the excellent service.

We are so glad that we chose Mercer Oaks Catering for our wedding. It was a perfect day.

The staff at Mercer Oaks was amazing! I worked with Samantha, the event coordinator since I first looked into booking Mercer Oaks and she was always available for me, quick to answer all of my questions and extremely friendly and professional. I could not be any happier with the way everything turned out! The food was so good, the staff was great and my husband and I were even assigned one specific person, Krista, to care for us the whole night and make sure we had enough food and drink! Cocktail hour and dinner went very smoothly and Samantha made sure all of our events during the reception went smoothly as well. I am extremely happy with everything and I could reccommend Mercer Oaks to everyone!!!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Mercer Oaks on November 3, 2012 - right after Hurricane Sandy. All I can say is that the team at Mercer Oaks was incredible from start to finish. Considering that many couples had to cancel their wedding, we got very lucky BUT Samantha (wedding coordinator) kept us up to date on the status of power, etc. and even though our final deposit was due on the day Sandy hit, we were able to give her the check the day of the reception as we had so many last minute cancelations - up until the night before the reception! During and after the reception, a multitude of guests came up to us saying how amazing the food was and that the staff were lovely/incredibly attentive. Also, having the outdoor patio open was great for those who needed to cool off after dancing up a storm during the reception. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better wedding reception and it was Mercer Oaks who made it happen for a very reasonable price! Everything from start to finish was effortless because our coordinator was top notch and handled the entire day. From setting up a day to go and look into this venue to the very last minute of our reception, she never missed a beat. The taste testing was private and extraordinary. The food was so delicious. My wedding day was perfect and that's all we hear from our guests as well. They all LOVED the wedding and say it was the best one they have ever been to. It was affordable, comfortable and the service was exceptional. Not one single thing I would change. Thank you so very much! Samantha, you are under-rated even at a 10! If brides everywhere could have the ease and lack of stress that I had, they would be knocking down the doors to have their wedding at Mercer Oaks.

This venue was the best! The food was great and there was plenty of it. The waiters kept bringing out so much food during the cocktail hour, my guest were full by dinner. The scenery was beautiful, overlooking the pond and golf course. I had my ceremony and cocktail hour outside and the reception inside. The coordinator, Samantha, is great. She was so helpful with getting us organized and having everything done on time. I love the fact that the venue sits alone so that only one event is going on at a time. I was really pleased with my wedding and would highly recommend Mercer Oaks to any bride. The cost was also great compared to most venues in the area.

We are SO happy that we chose to have our June 23 wedding reception at Mercer Oaks! We can't say enough about how fantastic Mercer Oaks is and how great Samantha, the coordinator who worked with us, is. Sam was incredibly flexible and went above and beyond in helping with our preparations, which was especially important since we were planning from out of town. Our guests raved about the quality and abundance of food at the cocktail hour and reception. The setting, patio, and main room were beautiful and provided plenty of room for dancing. Everything was organized and set up perfectly and we didn't have to worry about a thing during our reception. Mercer Oaks offered an incredibly fair deal and great value (I did extensive comparison shopping and could not find anything better!) while feeling completely luxurious and top of the line all the way. The staff at Mercer Oaks also took special care of us, as the bride and groom, bringing us drinks and making sure that we had everything we needed during our reception, so we could both genuinely relax and enjoy our party! We would highly recommend Mercer Oaks!!

This is the place to get married in Mercer County. Just married last week, we did a friday night ceramony and reception all at Mercer Oaks. The night was Flawless!
Words from my guest, "the service and staff here are so nice." "this is the best food i have had at a wedding." "wow this place is amazing."
Everyone was so happy with the professionalism and speedy service from everyone at Mercer Oaks. the food was all so amazing. We did a number of different stations of food and everyone really loved it all. Many said that the food at cocktail hour was so good they were almost stuffed by dinner.
Samantha is the even coordinator at Mercer Oaks and she kept the night running smoothly i never had any worries or concerns. She is fabulous. She is attentive from the time you meet her to view the venue for the first time up till the day after your wedding. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

There aren't enough amazing things my new husband and I could say about Mercer Oaks Country Culb. The hall is beautiful, the grounds are as well. It is laid back yet at the same time glamorous. The price CAN NOT be beat, and people thought we went all out!! Samantha is the event coordinator there. Throughout the entire planning process my husband and I constantly talked about how much we love her and Mercer Oaks!! She is the absolute best you will find. We truly appreciate everything she did for us, and we feel grateful we chose to go with Mercer Oaks. We got comments after comments about how amazing the food was, the atmosphere, the staff, EVERYTHING. I thank Mercer Oaks and Sam for giving us the wedding of our dreams :)

I can't say enough great things about Mercer Oaks. My husband and I were just married there on May 7th, 2011. This was truly my dream wedding! Aside from the fact that the venue is beautiful the food was AMAZING! Our friends and family are still talking about how delicious everything was. Their event coordinator, Samantha, went above and beyond our expectations. She was very personable, professional, flexible and responsive throughout the entire wedding planning process from start to finish. We were so blessed to have her. I will truly miss talking with her. I highly recommend Mercer Oaks for any occasion as you will not be disappointed. So many comments from my guests that it was one of the most elegant receptions they ever attended.

Mercer Oaks was the perfect place to have our wedding. The staff was wonderful, especially, Samantha-she was great!! Our ceremony was supposed to be outside and it starting to rain 30 minutes before our ceremony and without even having to ask Samantha had everything brought inside and setup a beautiful ceremony for us. The food was awesome and we highly recommend Mercer Oaks for any occasion.

We got married in May of 2006. The wonderful memories are still fresh in my mind. Friends STILL mention how wonderful the food was at the wedding. We could not have been happier. Venue, service, staff, decor, food, ceremony and husband could not have been more perfect!!!
I would do it all over (with the same man of course!)

What a great place to have a wedding, pictures were beautiful. We were able to borrow a golf cart for some of the photos. The event planner (sam) wow, what a dedicated professional in every way possible. The food was fantastic and the layout of the flowers and the card table, right down to the cocktail hour outside. Wow.

I loved Mercer Oaks. It was a lot for the price. Samantha is the baquent manager and acts as your coordinator which is awesome. She is fantastic. She took care of everything that day to ensure that I was not bothered by the little things. I The food was excellent. The venue is wonderful. Great location on the golf course to do pictures. I couldnt not recommend them enough!

I cannot say enough about Mercer Oaks! First of all they are a county run golf course with a BEAUTIFUL banquet room in Mercer County, NJ. I had the ceremony there outside in their gazebo & the 5 hour cocktail party reception in the banquet facility. Their event coordinator Samantha is beyond super. Because they are a county facility the prices are fantastic. I had a top shelf 5 hr open bar & wanted Grey Goose vodka....no problem. I wanted butlered hors deorves the whole time....Samantha said no problem but you can also have stations. I asked if they did a mashed potato martini bar, she said no but what is it & I told her...again no problem. The cake was included & I had a venetian table as well. There was a special room for me to get dressed in. The room was set up beautifully although I did my own centerpieces (beta fish in a giant martini glass) & tiny martini glasses w/ super shiny jordan almonds as the favors since it was a cocktail party! I also decorated the gazebo. She let me come in at 10AM to do this & my event was not until 6PM! Samantha & I emailed & talked constantly & she was super prompt in responding, she was very professional, kind & had a nice calming effect on everyone the day of. I cannot recommend Mercer Oaks enough, if you live in Mercer County you would be a fool not to at the very least take a look at this place & talk to Samantha!

I cannot say enough about the amazing staff and Samantha at Mercer Oaks. We were stuck with a torrential thunderstorm for our outdoor wedding ceremony. Sam and her team made the transition to our very amazing back-up plan without a hitch. Many of our guests weren't even aware that we getting married under the covered patio was the back-up. Our guests loved the food, especially everything during cocktail hour. The bartenders and staff were very accomodating without being in your face with hors d'oeuvres. My family and friends are still raving about the wedding! My husband and I had the most amazing wedding at Mercer Oaks!!

Jim, Samantha and the entire staff of Mercer Oaks went above and beyond to make our reception flawless! We planned our wedding from across the country and were concerned about not being available to be on site during the planning process. Samantha was great with keeping us informed and was flexible with her schedule to accommodate our travel plans. All our requests were fulfilled, no matter how big or small. And we were offered things (for free!) that we hadn't thought to ask for. ie: signature drinks, printing our menu cards, grooms cake.

The service staff were extraordinary (especially Krista!) and their professionalism was superb. They anticipated our needs and attended to our guests with friendliness and courtesy. The food was outstanding (I may be the first bride in history to leave her reception full!) and abundant. We kept hearing from our guests that they were stuffed and the food was great!

For the value, quality and service you absolutely can't beat Mercer Oaks. The best recommendation I can give is that several of our guests said it was the best wedding they'd ever been to!

P.S. Our cake (and grooms cake) were done by Melissa at Coco's Cakery and were awesome! They looked great and tasted even better!

I loved Mercer Oaks! It is a beautiful venue and the food is absolutely delicious. The prices are outstanding for the quality of service provided. Samantha, their event coordinator, was a pleasure to work with and made planning a wedding a little bit easier. I would definitely recommend.
