Nile and the Mendocino Photo & Video Team went above and beyond for us. At the very beginning, Nile made a point to meet with both myself and my husband so that he could get to know us, our personalities and our story. That, in my mind was the most important part. Not everyone will take time out of their day to ask questions, listen to your vision, and truly understand your intentions. Nile did!
Capturing my wedding day was something very important to me. I wanted to remember the people, the details, the smiles and everything that comes with marrying your best friend, and Nile was able to do just that for us, and more!
Nile’s beautiful personality shines through everything he does. Many times, my family/ wedding party would tell me how wonderful it was having Nile work with us, and I couldn’t agree more! He ensured our day was seamless, meaningful, and just easy. I was able to relax about missing some of the details because I knew Nile was there to capture it all.
I would can’t recommend Nile and the entire Mendocino Photo & Video Team to be apart of your special day enough! If you want a beautiful and meaningful way to capture your day surrounded by a team who actually cares about fulfilling your dream, and pours their heart into what they do, look no further! -

Amazing to work with - saves footage to use differently if the couple wants.
Nile was amazing and he does amazing work! I really appreciate how he keeps his material/gallery from weddings so the couple can get more video footage if they want. My husband secretly arranged to get a more detailed video of our ceremony for our second anniversary and Nile delivered; I absolutely loved it and shed many happy tears being able to relive those moments. -

I would highly recommend Mendocino Photo and video, to anyone wanting to have their special day captured. Nile was very attentive and helpful throughout the months leading up to my wedding. We had two meetings before the wedding to sort out the special details in our wedding and the schedule of the wedding. The final product we received met our expectations, my husband and I couldn’t be more happier with Mendocino Photo and Video’s work. -

Nile was hands down the best videographer we could have asked for. From the beginning, he made an authentic effort to get to know my husband and I as a couple and as individuals. He is extremely organized and met with us multiple times to ensure he knew everything needed to support us on our wedding day. When the day came around, his calm demeanor was very soothing and helped us stay in the moment. He went above and beyond in every possible way and even stayed past his contracted time because we were running behind schedule and he knew we’d want footage of our first dances, which was so kind of him to do. The turnaround for our highlight reel was only a few days and was absolutely mesmerizing. The way he captured the magic of the day was truly phenomenal and beyond anything we had hoped for, and we were so happy to have an artifact delivered so soon after the wedding. We even requested additional video packages because we were so impressed with his work and how he told the story of our day! This says a lot because originally we were on the fence about hiring a videographer at all. Above all, it was really important to us that our vendors be LGBTQ-friendly, especially our photographer and videographer who would be working with our wedding party, and Nile was so inclusive and great at working with every single one of our loved ones. If you are looking for a someone you can trust to capture your day beautifully, look no further. -

Nile was so wonderful to work with. He made a video of our elopement and it was spectacular. Everyone who watched it sent us messages how they were so touched by our video that they cried. My daughter said it looked like it could be on television. He used drone footage that captured the beauty of the location, made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, kept us laughing and natural. -

Nile from Mendocino Photo and Video was a wonderful vendor that I got the pleasure of working with for a wedding we both serviced. I own a mobile bartending company and got a chance to see Nile in action, always busy capturing the best wedding moments! We absolutely loved working with Nile. He is extremely flexible and responsive, even when he was communicating from abroad. He took his time to get to know us and made us feel very comfortable around him. He made the most beautiful and touching video. Many of our family members don't speak English, yet they still picked up on how patient and thoughtful Nile was. And somehow he captured their interviews (which were done in a foreign language) perfectly!
I went into wedding planning thinking that I don't need a videographer, but I'm really glad that I had one and that it was Nile. I highly recommend him. -

It was a big decision to not spend more money on an expensive multi-hour professional photography package, but to shift more than half that budget for a wedding video from the amazing Nile at Mendocino photography.
But my wife and I are so happy we did! The video was the best investment we could have made to memorialize our wedding. The eight minute video he did brings that magical date back to life time and time again, in full, love-drenched color! So much more so than still photos could! -

Mendocino Photo and Video was such a pleasure to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. Nile took the time to get to know us as a couple, gave us great feedback along the way, and helped us come up with a game plan to capture our wedding where we could fully enjoy our day worry-free. We had so much going on at our wedding, and Nile was able to capture it all so beautifully and put together an incredible teaser and highlights video. He has an immense talent for cinematography and video editing and his work wonderfully brought out all the rich emotions during our wedding and told such a captivating story. Can't recommend enough!!! -

Working with Nile on our video project was a dream. He was thoughtful and creative as well as go with the flow and flexible. We had a general idea of what we wanted, which Nile was very receptive to, and then he expanded on our ideas and produced something that was truly breathtaking. I cried twice when I watched his first cut of our film. I am a Marketing Director and have worked with many different types of creative contractors – Nile is one of the best. Nile was not only extremely professional and competent, he had an eye for the tender candid moments and memorable aspects of our special day. We had an intercultural wedding and he would listen keenly to what we wanted and stayed very sensitive to cultural differences throughout. We got married a few years ago and we weren’t sure if we wanted to do a video. So glad we went with Nile who was so affordable for what he offered. The video we have our wedding allows us to look back on all the poignant moments and we enjoy it very much. I would recommend him without hesitation!
