The Best DJ in Erie County!

Shawn was absolutely wonderful! I was nervous because I wanted specific music for the ceremony & he was able to find it & executed it perfectly! He was a great DJ & kept everyone dancing all night! We got so many compliments! The lighting and effects were so cool!! Thank you so much Shawn, I’d recommend you to any & everyone!

Great experience, highly recommend

Shawn was a great DJ and resource to our wedding experience. Leading up to the day, he provided insight and suggestions that were helpful to making our day work seamlessly and be a total success. Then for the actual wedding, he provided such a fun atmosphere and guided the evening along perfectly. We partied until they kicked us out! I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone!

DJ Shawn Steele!

Shawn is the best! He was our wedding officiant and our DJ. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. His words during the ceremony were very personal and were written for us. He read the crowd well and knew what music to play to keep the party going. He made us feel like family and went above and beyond to meet our needs. During the planning, he communicated very well with us, offered suggestions, and was organized. He is a genuine, down to earth, caring, and super great guy. I was the 4th person in my family to ask Shawn to DJ for our wedding and we will all continue to recommend him!

Memories in Motion - Top Notch DJ Services

If you want your event to be absolutely spectacular then I highly recommend booking Memories in Motion! Shawn Steele knocked it out of the park, we cannot thank him enough for what an outstanding job he did getting everyone out on the dance floor. He was so accommodating and set the bar high for the whole night. He played fantastic music, with very little direction from us, and somehow also managed to snap some great photos! Thanks to him we had the best night of our lives!!!

Dance party delivered!

All I wanted for my wedding reception was a dance party, and Shawn DELIVERED. He did an excellent job reading the room and keeping the party going. He was prepared with all of the sound equipment for our ceremony and even seamlessly got a microphone to my partner and I for our vows mid ceremony without being told we’d need them beforehand. All communication with Shawn was quick and easy. My partner and I had no idea what we were doing, and Shawn guided us through planning out the timeline of the whole night while giving us the perfect amount of space to make it our own. One of my personal favorite things that he did for us on our wedding day was tell us how to cut our wedding cake before it was announced. It was a detail I had never considered, and it was just one less thing to think about when the time came. So many of our guests said they had a great time dancing at our wedding. Thank you, Shawn! 10/10!

DJ Shawn is the BEST! He was recommended to us by several of our vendors, and we are so glad we had opportunity to have him for our special day! He took care of everything and kept the party going the entire time! He had everyone dancing! His energy and professionalism are reflected in his work. He was very organized and very responsive to messages. During our reception, he flawlessly coordinated everything, so we didn't have to worry about a thing! We got so MANY compliments on his excellent work from our guests! We did the rockstar entrance, and it was so AWESOME! Definitely a one of kind entrance! Awesome Experience with DJ Shawn Steele

I second what EVERYONE else has said; Shawn was amazing at our wedding on 10/8! Even with a few snafu's here and there (running late, family dynamics, COLD WEATHER in an outdoor venue), Shawn kept the party going and guests warm by keeping the music going and people on the dance floor, maintaining a timeline, and making sure important family traditions were completed before the photographers (Alyssa Wales and 2nd Erica...also wonderful!). He was wonderful in song suggestions with me being an indecisive bride, having a worksheet to use as a guide, and his opinion and expertise was invaluable. Easy to work with, easy to talk to! There is no way you could go wrong with him at your event of any kind!

The Best Time of Our Lives

Shawn was absolutely perfect! He knew how to entertain the crowd and played a range of music that was fitting to everyone at our wedding. I have never been to a wedding where the DJ is able to get the entire crowd on the dance floor the ENTIRE reception. He is absolutely amazing and we could not be more thankful to have him as our DJ. 100000000000% recommend Shawn for any important event!

Need a WingMan Jack! DJ Steele's Got Your Back!!!

I have often told many I am not a mind reader, but DJ Steele is thankfully NOT in that group. He is the best DJ that God has placed on this Earth!!! When you're in the middle of enjoying your new marriage with the most beautiful woman in the world, you just want to enjoy the celebration and let everyone else take over. After several conversations of what we liked, DJ Steele did NOT hestitate to completely take over and do everything with supreme perfection! Everyone I talked to after our wedding went on and on about how good the DJ was and how this was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding. Why? Because DJ Steele is in charge! The man was so wonderfully in control and used his jedi mind powers to feel the crowd and mystify one and all!!! This guy's got crazy skills and is so adaptable and very easy to deal with both before, during and after our special day. Memories in Motion isn't just a title he thought up...he lives it everytime he does his job. We are so deeply blessed he was our DJ and you would be brain dead not to hire him for your special event. In my opinion he is the only option to hire and the best DJ God has placed on this Earth! AMEN!!!

Attentive!

Rick did a wonderful job at our ceremony and reception. He was well dressed, personable, and worked well with the staff at Nick's Place. He was very thorough during our preliminary meeting, he answered texts and emails in a timely fashion, and did exactly what we asked him to do. His playlist was spot on. We were happy that he was available!

All around awesome

My husband and I booked Shawn as we were given his name by a relative. However, we did not just choose Shawn because of the contact provided to us, we choose Shawn because we liked his personality and responsiveness to messages. Shawn is so easy to work with and is always on top of all communication. As our wedding date approached he was sure to reach out and make sure we felt comfortable with all the plans we had in place already and even just to check in with us and see how we were feeling pre-wedding! Shawn made us feel so comfortable on the day of our wedding because he handled EVERYTHING! My husband and I booked Shawn as we were given his name by a relative. However, we did not just choose Shawn because of the contact provided to us, we choose Shawn because we liked his personality and responsiveness to messages. Shawn is so easy to work with and is always on top of all communication. As our wedding date approached he was sure to reach out and make sure we felt comfortable with all the plans we had in place already and even just to check in with us and see how we were feeling pre-wedding! Shawn made us feel so comfortable on the day of our wedding because he handled EVERYTHING! A Perfect Party!

We had the best time at our wedding! Shawn was already booked for our date, so he kindly set us up with another DJ (Rick Fresch) who was wonderfully professional, organized, and fun to work with. Rick communicated closely with us until the VERY last second to ensure our ceremony went off without a hitch, and our guests danced the night away under beautiful lights.

I felt pretty clueless going into this process, and Rick and Shawn both made the process so easy and comfortable. I can't recommend this company enough!

Best dj experience ever

Had our wedding August 21, 2021 and Shawn was incredible. He is responsive and will help guide you through any questions you may have. I was always worried my wedding would be like everyone else's I had been to where no one really danced except for a handful of people, but Shawn got the crowd going and our dancefloor was filled!! First time I've ever seen that at a wedding. He was so easy to work with and anything we asked of him - he did with no complaint! As a bride I did not have to worry about when things needed to happen because Shawn kept track of the schedule and made sure we did everything we needed to on time such as cake cutting, money dances, speeches, etc. My husband and I could not recommend a better DJ than Shawn!!! You will not regret it!

Shawn is a true professional. After he was the DJ at my brothers wedding, my wife and I knew we had to have him DJ ours. He reads the crowd and keeps the dance floor going all night. Friends of ours, who usually don’t dance, were out there having a great time! He made a great day great and my wife and I would recommend Shawn to anyone who wants to have a great experience!

Shawn was quick to answer any question throw at him and help us visualize what the day and his services would look like. However like so many others we had to cancel our large ceremony as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Shawn refunded our full deposit without any questions asked. We will certainly be contacting Shawn for any future events and wish him and everyone else luck in these tough times. We would highly recommend Memories in Motion for any future events.

Amazing Owner

Even though we didn’t end up having our wedding due to COVID-19, Memories in Motion was great to work with. Shawn and Mike were both very professional and easy to get ahold of. They gave us zero problems about getting our deposit back when the wedding was canceled, and I have no doubt they would’ve been fantastic on the day of our wedding. I would highly recommend them and will be using them in the future if we decide to reschedule our wedding!
