  Batman and Robin

  PJ and his assistant photographer JT are incredible photographers, they get excellent shots. Somehow they are entirely in your area and you have no idea they're there, getting up close and wonderful photos to make memories of your event without being in the way. 100% would recommend to anyone.
  
  PJ is super fun to work with and has an uplifting personality, he was super flexible for our engagement photos. Following us to three places in the city to make sure everything rocked.

  Awesome couples photography!

  Pj is creative, fun and flexible. He has an eye for photography and works with the environment and lighting to create the most amazing photographs possible. Pj did our engagement photography and we could not be happier with the end results. He is also a great guy and fun to be around!

  Amazing photos and a dream to work with

  I don’t have words for PJ. He is amazing. The photos he took were amazing, and he didn’t miss a single detail of our special day. PJ was fantastic to work with, he was one of the vendors that I relied on the most to guide me through the wedding and he made sure my husband and I enjoyed every moment of it. Guests at my wedding even spoke to me about how keen his eye was; he captured moments that were both huge as well as softer and more real moments happening in the background. Hire him hire him hire him! You will not regret it.

  PJ is the bomb!

  PJ was such a blast to work with! He was extremely professional, but also so personable and it made our experience with him so perfect! We received several compliments from our wedding guests about PJ and how kind/patient he was! His work speaks for itself, so I do not need to say it, but his photography is amazing! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer. We will use him anytime we need photos done in the future.

  PJ took the most beautiful photographs of our wedding! He is not only a great photographer but has a unique, creative eye, which set him apart from many other wedding photographers we were looking into.   PJ was awesome to work with! He made us feel very comfortable and had great ideas for our photos. We love every single photo he took and that's very rare with photographers. He was also very reasonably priced. Hire him...you will not regret it!!!!!!

  PJ is wonderful! He made the trip all the way up to Philadelphia to photograph our engagement session which was the perfect way to get to know him. His work is beautiful and he was able to capture such wonderful memories from our wedding day. On top of all of this, his services are an incredible value. Thank you PJ!

  If you are looking for a wedding photographer, look no further than PJ. He is fantastic. He is crafting magic and is very talented at composing beautiful portraits. He is incredibly easy to work with and is so calm. He puts you at ease and you hardly notice he is there. He has the ability to capture the atmosphere of the party in a photo. He offers an engagement session as part of his packages. My husband and I didn’t think we needed one, but it was worth it. The photos are gorgeous. He offered a photo booth as part of his services and we also did a video booth, as well. Both were very well done and our guest loved them. We have great photos and videos to look back on. We got our photos back in a pretty quick time frame (45 days). The best part is we have a link to our photos and all are completely downloadable. We can print whatever we would like. All our family and friends have the link and are able to do the same. We have received countless compliments on our photos and all the credit for that goes to PJ!

  Amazing!! I absolutely loved loved working with PJ. He does amazing work and I was thrilled from the very beginning to be working with him. He is local to Richmond and the cost could not of been more perfect! Highly recommend PJ to anyone who wants quality beautiful photos.

  I've never met someone so punctual and personable like PJ!! He is amazing and I fell in love with his photos on his website and knew he was the one. He even made the drive up ALL THE WAY up to Northern Virginia so that we could meet with him and see if he'd be a good fit for our wedding. The photo booth option is a must!!! My guest LOVED it!! I've seen a sneak peak of two photos from the wedding so far and I just know the rest of them will be to die for. Thanks again for working with the drama of a wedding day, PJ!!! I will be using him for any future special events! I might even have him redo our engagement photos that a friend of ours bombed! PJ is the best!!!!

  PJ was absolutely wonderful to work with! We were referred to him by a family member (who had professional photos done by him), and we are so pleased with our decision to use him as our wedding photographer. He met with us before our wedding and really seemed to "get" us from the beginning. He listened to what we were looking for and definitely delivered. We chose one of his package deals and the value is unbeatable. He did our rehearsal dinner photos, provided an AWESOME photo booth at our reception, and photographed 10 hours of coverage on our wedding day (with a second shooter). To top it off, he also captured brief video clips during the wedding day and put them together with still images and music to create a really touching wedding video for us. This was ALL part of the package! When photographing, PJ is excellent at blending into the background and making people feel at ease, which contributes to natural, fun, candid photos. Additionally, after the wedding, our photos and video were shared with us in a VERY timely manner (quicker than I've ever heard of!). As for the photos, they were exactly what we were looking for. Documentary style, plenty of candids, and genuinely consistent with the vibe of our wedding day and us as a couple. For example, he quickly picked up on the fact that our wedding party was just a little crazy (I should use the word fun), and not the type to take photos while standing shoulder to shoulder with a fake smile (and that we weren't the type of couple to want a lot of those photos). So instead, he captured the true essence of our group being ourselves, leading to natural and candid photos that we will NEVER forget. He also captured the most beautiful photos of our venue, us as a couple, and the details of the day. He has really impressive equipment and a wonderful eye. All in all, I have nothing negative to say! I'd recommend PJ to any bride and groom looking for a great wedding photographer.

  I used Memories by Photography for my April Wedding at the Dominion Club. My main concern through my whole wedding planning process were my pictures! I wanted to be able to capture this special day without spending a fortune. I had no clue who to pick or where to start. A friend suggested I use PJ. I could not have made a better decision! Not only were my pictures beautiful and unique but his professionalim and great personality just added to the wonderful experience. After the wedding I recieved my picures before I could even ask where they ready! I have recommended Memories by PJ to all my friends and have even used him for other special events in my life.   We got PJ’s name through a catering manager; she worked with him on a recent wedding and came away impressed. So did we!! We initially met for coffee at a bagel shop and knew we didn’t need to look anywhere else. We had looked through other recommended photographers’ sites—beautiful photos, no doubt, but way above our budget. With PJ, we got the best of both worlds. Having fantastic quality photos is one of the highlights of our wedding day. PJ is down-to-earth, professional, no gimmick. Additionally, we value that we’re still in communication over a year later. Because life happens, we still haven’t picked the photos for our album; yet, we have no worries over PJ’s integrity. We work with him again in a heartbeat.

  My fiancé and I met PJ at a friend's wedding and were so impressed with the quality and creativeness of his work that there was no question that we wanted him to photograph our wedding. We have gorgeous photos to remember our wonderful day and have since been equally impressed with subsequent photos taken during a maternity photo shoot and photographs of our new baby daughter. PJ is professional, polite, and personable. I have recommended and would recommend him for any special occasion you want to have beautiful keepsakes for!

  PJ is an amazing photographer. Our wedding photos came out so beautiful. Not only was he professional but he was also fun and allowed Dan and I to be ourselves...goofy and playful - PJ was able to capture that on film. I have recommended all my friends to him for their weddings and baby announcements cuz I know he will do a great job!!!
