Above and beyond
Tom and Heather both went above and beyond to get amazing pictures on our wedding day. We can look at our pictures and see just about everything that happened. They also helped coordinate pictures and came up with several ways to get special pictures. Along with the great pictures, they were both very easy to work with. They had a plan before the day to get everything they needed and executed it perfectly.
My new wife and I would highly recommend them as your photographer. -

Seamless Experience!
Kathie and Taylor were an absolute delight to work with for L+A's wedding. I loved having our pre-wedding calls to make sure all details were covered and that we were well prepared. Such an amazing team of photographers!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Memories are Forever! They were an absolute delight to work with from start to finish! Kathie and the entire staff are incredibly accommodating and kind, and I never felt like I was lost or confused in the planning process. They make it incredibly easy to plan out your day and keep track of what photos will be taken at what time, and guide you through the steps so you don’t feel like it’s all on you. They also have a variety of packages made to fit a variety of budgets and needs, and are more than willing to work with you to help you decide on what the best fit is. Kathie, her staff, and all of the photographers are also extremely responsive to all forms of communication, so you never feel as though you’ve been left hanging.
I also have to highlight how incredibly patient, kind, and compassionate Kathie and her staff were when I had to reschedule my original 2021 wedding date into 2022 due to COVID. I’m sure COVID wasn’t easy on their team either, and yet they didn’t bat an eye when I needed to push my date out further, and I can’t thank them enough for that. My wedding package included a free engagement photo session, and our photographer Tom was absolutely outstanding! We had Tom again on the day of our wedding, along with a second photographer Gordon, and both of them were an absolute pleasure to work with. The day moves so quickly, and both of them were outstanding professionals, able to keep up with the fast pace and get a wide variety of stunning shots, while still making sure it felt like our wedding day and not just one big photoshoot. My husband and I, as well as our entire wedding party, truly felt cared for by our photographers and had a blast taking photos at multiple locations!
I can’t recommend this company enough! Just go with them! -

Excellent photographer and team
Kathie was our photographer during our actual wedding last year in a park with our immediate family. We changed the reception date to a year later since COVID happened. Kathie and her team are very professional and excellent photographers. During both of our “weddings”, Kathie kept us on task with the itinerary, made sure we had pictures with our family, and kept well out of sight during the reception. We didn’t even notice them. We picked her because her pictures aren’t washed out like many others we saw. I couldn’t speak highly enough of her ability and service! -

Amazing engagement and wedding photos, highly recommend!
Kathie sent us the best team for our wedding. They fit us perfectly and captured everything we wanted and more. Tom and Gordon were creative and professional and we are ecstatic about not only our wedding photos but the engagement photos we had done previously as well. Knowledgeable Professional!
Kathie was amazing to work with. We got married yesterday and during our reception she ran photos from the day on the screen by the bar at our venue! Such an awesome surprise. It was so nice to relax and just have her guidance throughout the day! -

Such a great experience!
Kathie shot both our engagement and wedding photos, and she was amazing for both! The photographer she had with her on the wedding day was great too. We loved that they weren’t afraid to direct people where they needed to be and they got our photos to us so quickly. Very pleasant people to work with and great value! 10/10 recommend! -

"We look like movie stars!"
My wife and I were thrilled with Memories Are Forever wedding photography. We were referred by one of my wife's coworker friends. We met with the owner for an hour or so to learn about their practices and see some example photos (phenomenal). The package included a couple hour engagement photo shoot at a location we chose (Forest Park near the Muny - where we met). We got an email that very night with the best one. My wife said "We look like movie stars.", and we did! At the wedding, I really appreciated Memories Are Forever taking family pictures of our guests for their benefit. My wife made a gorgeous hardcopy wedding album book we display on our coffee table. So many great images from which to choose.
You wedding day will come and go. Believe it or not, someday it will be far in the past. The question then is, what will you recall of it? What will that past event mean to you? With Memories Are Forever, you will always have a vivid reminder of how special that day was and what a great couple you were and are together.-

Great Experience and Great Results
We have hired photographers on a couple of occasions but Memories are Forever produced the best pictures by far. It was our wedding so we really wanted the best and after several recommendations we went them. Kathy and her team made taking pictures fun and were even able to get the kids to join in too! We found out later that our venue was new for Kathy so she drove to it the weekend before to scout the lighting. Pics turned out fantastic and we would definitely recommend! -

Memories Are Forever exceeded our expectations and gave me a variety of amazing images that will help us remember the day forever. I had a few picture ideas and the photographers helped incorporate them into the schedule seamlessly. Having two photographers helped the day go smoothly and I loved how they both captured different angles at the ceremony. I highly recommend! -

Great price and great photos
Kathie (owner) was so sweet in getting to know us and the style of photos we wanted from our special day. She did not disappoint! We love the photos we have, and they were given back in 2 weeks, which I was so surprised about! The price for the quality of work they do is fantastic. If you have your reception at Tapawingo Golf Course you'll receive special pricing, and we had a fantastic experience working with both vendors. -

Incredible Day
Kathie & Taylor worked their tales off shooting my wedding. They were always on the go and kept things moving. They worked with my tight schedule and took a ton of gorgeous photos! Cannot say enough good things about Memories Are Forever and Kathie! From the early communication to the pre-wedding communication to the day of professionalism and dedication to the quick turn delivery, the team was amazing and so easy to work with. They were thorough, patient, generous with their time, humble, adaptive, accommodating, pleasant, brilliant, etc, etc. They requested so little of us and were so unobtrusive, yet were always where they needed to be promptly. They brought pleasant, competent assistants, thought of pictures we didn't even think of, were so polite to our family and guests. Memories Are Forever is a calming and pleasant, 'breath of fresh air' in the wedding industry and I highly recommend them for your event or wedding!

Working with Memories are forever and Kathie was one of the best experiences of my entire wedding process.
I was already blown away at my first meeting and reviewing this companies work but to top it off, the group (owner and photographers) are so personable and it’s so important to be around people that you trust will make the best decision and help guide you on the most important day of your life.
They went above and beyond what I feel other professional photography companies offer.. and I would HIGHLY recommend anyone looking for the perfect wedding photographer to simply meet with Kathie and review her work. It was such a pleasure working with Memories are forever and even though I received a sneak peek (as a favor , again.. above and beyond) I am so excited to see the complete package as I know it’s going to be gorgeous and my husband and I will cherish the photos of our day forever! Kathie and her team did an amazing job the day of our wedding, and we could not be more grateful. It was expected to rain shortly after our ceremony (right when we were supposed to be taking pictures in the park), but Kathie quickly made it work, instructing the members of our bridal party where/how to stand for some of the specific shots I wanted. She is extremely efficient at taking a lot of photos in a short amount of time, and thankfully we were able to get most of our “outside” pictures completed before the rain hit. She and her team definitely have an eye for gorgeous wedding photography, and many of my shots looked like they could be right out of a magazine. So happy I chose Memories Are Forever to photograph our wedding! -

The style of pictures that Kathie and the Memories are Forever team take matched our vision and personality perfectly. We knew from looking at her portfolio and Kathie would be the perfect person to capture all of the special moments of our day. She certainly exceeded our expectations. We were able to meet with her multiple times before our event and having Kathie take our engagement pictures allowed her to get to know us as a couple, setting the stage for a fun and relaxed day. She arrived early to capture all of our details and the girls and guys getting ready. Thanks to Kathie and her associate, Tom, every part of the day was covered. Kathie and team stayed with both my husband I all day, even capturing many family and group candid photos as the reception partied on. From the intimate moments of the first look to out on the dance floor, Memories Are Forever really documented the greatest day of our lives in a creative and expressive way. -

World Class photography and effort by Kathie. Beautiful pictures of every part of our wedding and reception, including family/group pictures and dinner/reception action. Kathie worked tirelessly for hours to arrange and control the families and kids, and to make sure she captured everyone at their best. Great formal family portraits were an unexpected product of her work. We highly recommend her for any occasion, but her creative work with weddings and families seem to be her expertise.

Kathie Belfield and her assistant Taylor did an amazing job with my daughter's Conservatory Gardenhouse wedding in historic St Charles, MO. She did an amazing job at capturing the beauty, joy, and complete spectrum of emotions throughout the day. She had a way of using the historic surrounding to enhance the photos. The close up shots of the bride are gorgeous and many have felt they look like they came directly from a professional bridal magazine. She has a creative "artsy" eye that shines through in her work. She was extremely professional and a joy to work with! She had a slide show of the wedding and day prepared and running during the reception and had all of the photos to me in less than two weeks. I recommend her without any reservation and would not hesitate to use her again. I feel their is no one else I would choose as she is experienced and extremely gifted in her field!! -

Kathie and all of her staff at Memories are Forever were wonderful throughout our wedding and the entire planning process. She accommodated all of our photography wishes, including going to a specific location between the ceremony and reception. Not only did she take beautiful pictures but she was very time efficient, allowing us to arrive at the reception on time. She also made sure that we were able to have pictures with the many combinations of friends and family that we desired. We felt very comfortable with Kathie and fully trusted her and since getting our pictures we are even more thrilled that we decided to use Memories are Forever. We would highly recommend Memories are Forever to anyone getting married. -

Kathie Belfield, owner of Memories Are Forever, made sure our children had an unbelievable photographic journal of their engagement and wedding day on September 6th. She and two of her wonderful assistants- Al and Taylor—followed the bride and groom through their getting ready (at their respective different locations), seeing one another for the “first” glimpse and traveling to various sites around St. Louis before the ceremony and reception. We have so many wonderful photos to choose from of the ceremony and reception, that it will be difficult to choose what goes into their wedding album. Kathie helped us develop a timeline that kept us moving, but not stressing out about it. Each of the photographers was experienced, humorous, professional and kind in dealing with us all day. While guests dined during the reception, Kathie was able to bring pictures up on a screen (provided by the venue) that documented activity that had taken place during the day and ceremony. It was very touching and cool—many guests commented on how well done they were. Another nice touch and one I didn’t know we were even getting---as guests entered our ceremony venue, they were photographed. How they accomplished all we had asked for is pretty amazing. Within a few days of the wedding Kathie had a link for our families (and friends) to view a sampling of pictures to come---so exciting for all of us who had enjoyed the day and evening. The bride, groom, and parents of both also received a “surprise” package in the mail within the first 10 days that included a sampling of some of the pictures and a darling “brag book” filled with great shots to show friends and family. AND 13 days after the ceremony we could view all our pictures online. Amazing work. We made a great choice in choosing Memories Are Forever! -

Kathie photographed my daughter's wedding this past weekend. Every part of our interaction with her has been perfect. During the initial consultation she got to know my daughter and got a sense of what kind of wedding and photographs she was going to want. She offers a good selection of packages and I loved having the engagement photo shoot since we used the pictures on the wedding website and in many other places. Also liked the option of getting the guest book with their engagement photos in it. The day of the wedding she arrived with a crew and things just went so smoothly. She seemed to know intuitively what getting ready pictures around the house would be best. She was very flexible in terms of what other locations the bridal party wanted to be photographed in and of course, took lots of pictures of all the families at the wedding. She's knows all the venues and knows where the good pictures are. I was surprised and pleased that she set up two laptops at the reception that cycled through pictures taken that day (!) so we could all see them right away. They were exquisite. We could not have asked for better, more professional service and a better product. -

Kathie, Crystal & Taylor were absolutely amazing!!!!!! We had a large bunch w/time constraints & they were quick & amazing with kids & very organized, prompt & professional!!!! I would recommend them to all my friends & family :) -

Kathie was EXCEPTIONAL!! Couldn't imagine a better photographer! She is SO MUCH fun to work with! First of all, she is very easy to get a hold of considering how busy she is. She does fabulous work and listens very well. She takes into consideration every place you want pictures and people you want pictures with and will not forget! She had my list with her all day and made sure she checked everything off! Her pictures were amazing and captured every moment until the very end of the night! She goes the extra mile in so many different ways!
Her assistants Taylor and Mike were also amazing! Taylor is a sweetheart and really went out of his way to help with everything! My family was very impressed with the way Mike got the kids to laugh in pictures and helped get different angles of pictures throughout the whole day.
I would HIGHLY recommend Memories are Forever with Kathie Belfield! -

Excellent service, from the first consultation with Kathie (owner) through the final exit at the reception. Memories Are Forever did everything possible to make our wedding day unforgettable. We had two photographers with us the entire day. Kevin & Taylor where very professional, while still being Fun and enthusiastic, we enjoyed the experience --it was a blast! Each time we view our photographs it reminds us of our day and we just explode with excitement.These guys captured expressions of joy and love we didn't realize was possible ---so talented in their art of photography--their passion--unreal!

Memories are Forever was absolutely fabulous as my wedding photographer. Big thanks to Kathie, Crystal, and Taylor for everything they did on our day. Throughout the whole process, working with Kathie was really easy. She planned our day down to the minute and had us all on schedule. Crystal was great in dealing with a tricky family situation. She took the initiative to figure it all out without making it my problem on my wedding day. For that I was extremely appreciative. Crystal also was a lifesaver when it came to a problem we had with another vendor. Without me even knowing, she made a call and had the issue resolved before the guests even noticed. Taylor was incredible the whole day assisting and helping me with my dress and other wardrobe malfunctions. All of us were obsessed with him by the end of the day. I still can't believe he is so young! I have glanced through my proofs and so far I love almost every picture. It is going to be hard to choose from all the great shots! -

Memories Are Forever exceeded our expectations completely. All of the pictures were creative, artistic and beautiful. Excellent! Exceeded my expectations. They gave us 2 photographers at no extra charge, were efficient and flexible. They even sent a cute book of wallet size photos for free to me, my parents, and the grooms parents. Highly recommend! -

Memories are Forever was a great choice of photographer. We had 2 photographers with us all day long - from getting dressed to the end of the reception. One photographer took posed shots while the other took spontaneous shots. They had so many creative ideas and the pictures turned out GREAT! They also did an engagement session for us for FREE with our wedding package. It was expensive, but we bought the c.d.'s and got 2997 pictures of the day that we could copy and give to friends and family. They also gave us a slight discount for being a Winter wedding. -
