Beth was the perfect officiant! We found her on WeddingWire based on her fantastic reviews and she lived up to every one of them. She provided a great ceremony to begin with, including several different options for language, and then worked with us to customize it. What resulted was a ceremony that was perfect for us, and it was the perfect length - not too short, not too long. She was always super fast to respond to any questions and helped me as we got closer to the wedding and I became more frazzled :) I would definitely recommend her to all brides! -

Beth Lackey was amazing! She worked diligently with us to pull off a wedding in just a few weeks (that also fell the day after Christmas). She walked us through the whole process and sent reminders when we needed to get the marriage license and such. When it came to the ceremony and vows, she had us start with a google form where she got to know all about us. We worked together on the revision process, with very few changes being made. It's not every day that someone comes along and gets your humor and understands that you want your wedding day to be light yet loving. She incorporated our love of reading, books, sci fi and fantasy, and even included the zombies to keep our boys (and us) happy. She has the flexibility, experience, and knowledge to understand people and provide something that's just right for them. We very much appreciated her part in our day, and it would not have been the same without her there. -

Beth was able to help us put together an absolutely beautiful last minute ceremony from across the country! She was so helpful, professional and easy to talk to. She understood our family dynamics and helped us make our ceremony special for us AND our children! Everyone who attended commented on how beatiful, special, and perfect our ceremony was. Beth is an absolutely amazing wedding officiant! She wrote a beautiful ceremony, and gave us a ton of options for how we wanted to customize and personalize it. We also had multiple guests tell us how our ceremony was the most beautiful they have ever heard. Her customer service was also great. She was very responsive to all of our questions, and helped us set up an amazing ceremony with very little effort on our part. I absolutely cannot recommend Beth enough. -

Beth was truly amazing to work with and I would highly recommend her! With all the stress of planning a wedding it was such a relief to work with someone as organized and responsive as Beth. Every time in sent her a question she responded almost immediately and even gave us forwarning when she would be unavailable due to vacations.
Meeting with her for the first time I already felt relieved at our choice. She continuously sent us drafts of our ceremony so we could collaborate and make any changes to better fit us as a couple. She even did some creative writing to our marriage braid unity since we are not very religious.
When it came time for our rehearsal dinner she made all of our friends and family comfortable and relaxed with her sense of humor while still being productive. I'm positive she made our ceremony the best fit for us it could have been. I cannot say enough good things about Beth.
She will forever be in our hearts for her help in making our special day all the more perfect! -

Beth was wonderful! When we first met with her, she listened to our story and quickly helped us to determine what type of ceremony would work best for us. She worked up a draft for us, and helped us work through the editing process. This included identifying readings that would reflect our love, and putting together a timeline we were comfortable with.
She ran the rehearsal, and from then I knew we had picked the best fit for us. Beth's smile and warmth radiate, and she really put this stage shy Bride at ease! Several people thought we had known her for years. This is a testament to how Beth makes everyone around her comfortable. I also found her able to guide the ceremony with professionalism and I am confident she is prepared for any bump in the road that may occur. We can not thank her enough for making the day just as we had imagined! Thank you Beth! -

Beth did amazing from the beginning! Not only did she communicate effectively throughout the process of writing, editing and planning our ceremony, she was open to our many ideas and changes. When it came to actually performing the ceremony, she was well spoken and performed it beautifully- even when the groom said his I do a bit too soon.;) I got many complements from family after the ceremony was complete and some even asked for her card! I would highly recommend Beth for your ceremony! -

Beth at Memorable Life Events was great! She was with us every step of the way from the day we hired her as our Officiant. Though all the craziness of planning a wedding, Beth was always very responsive whenever we needed to contact her with any questions. Her ceremony ideas were very nice and she gave us so many options to customize it to go with our quirkiness. Beth was very patient with us through all of our indecisiveness, revisions, re-revisions, and re-re-revisions. She even found great places to put in a couple of quotes that we wanted to include. She was a great help with rehearsals, even though she wasn't at our rehearsal dinner, and before the ceremony she made sure everyone knew their part. And even though the microphone at the chapel where our ceremony was held didn't work at the last minute she didn't panic, even though the rest of us were trying to. Our ceremony went off without a hitch, largely thanks to Beth. -

Beth is absolutely AWESOME. We received so many compliments from our guests about our ceremony - from the content to the delivery, she was excellent. She made an effort to get to know us at our consultation and built a beautiful ceremony around our relationship and personalities. She was also very flexible in making it what we wanted, taking our feedback and also providing suggestions. In addition, Beth walked us through obtaining a marriage license and filed/sent in the paperwork for us afterwards. She gave us tips on preparing for the ceremony and resources for the rehearsal since she was not present. We are so happy we chose her as an officiant. -

There are not enough good things I could say about working with Beth! She was absolutely amazing and incredibly professional from coordinating the rehearsal to helping us create a ceremony that was exactly what we wanted and very "us." Beth was not able to officiant my wedding because of a conflict of schedule but I had loved what I had seen on her website so I had her write our ceremony. She went above and beyond in every aspect of the writing process. The first draft was exactly what I had envisioned and I was in love with it after reading it the first time. She included my step kids into the ceremony and there was not a dry eye in the building. She also walked me through helping me get my friend ordained and made sure everything went smoothly for him and sent me reminders for my
Marriage license, sent me a document for my friend on signing the marriage license, sent me a run through of where everyone should stand for the bridal party and even wished me well the night before the wedding. She was responsive and overall just an AMAZING vendor to work with. I would and will continue recommend her to everyone. She has a way with words that is just impeccable. -

We planned our wedding relatively last minute and found Beth on Wedding Wire. She was extremely responsive and prompt. She helped us craft our ceremony so that it was unique to who we are as individuals and a couple. We received several compliments on how thoughtful and personal our ceremony was. Beth offered to go above and beyond for us, and was open to all or our requests and suggestions. She helped make our wedding day a huge success! Beth was wonderful to have as an officiant! She responded within an hour to any email I sent to her and answered my endless questions that I had, hah. My husband and I have crazy schedules and are in and out of the country for work a lot but we were able to use Skype/Google Hangout to talk to her about what we would like the ceremony to entail which was super helpful. Writing/customizing the vows was made very easy and able to be done quickly which was nice to just have that out of the way. She did a great job leading the rehearsal, and especially am impressed with the actual ceremony. She made you feel as calm as you can be, made the vows readable (aka small words when we needed to repeat), and she even brought tissues!! Definitely recommend!! -

We were in a panicking to find a last minute officiant and Beth came through for us! She is so heartwarming and flexible I'm so happy we chose her to be our officiant. Having the option to do a non religious ceremony made us feel right at home which I didn't think I would find with a reverend. We couldn't have gotten a more perfect officiant that celebrates love like we do. -

We are so glad to have chosen Memorable Life Events for our marriage ceremony. Beth not only did a wonderful job but we gave her the ability to do our vows for us and just a little bit of history of ourselves as a couple. Beth was amazing! I loved how personal she made our vows and I loved how she gave us the freedom to edit our vows as we saw fit. I lost my mother a number of years ago and Beth included a really touching segment regarding those who have passed. The entire audience was in tears and couldn't say enough kind words about how much they enjoyed this part of the ceremony. After the ceremony, Beth also mailed our marriage license to the state. She was very professional and resourceful. I highly recommend Beth to anyone looking for a sincere, compassionate, and experienced Officiant. Beth did a great job officiating our wedding. We were a little nervous hiring someone off the internet but everything went smoothly. Beth let us completely personalize the ceremony which was really cool and I do not know that we would have had that kind of flexibility if we had went with someone else. We did not want any religious elements in the ceremony and she did a great job of accommodating that. She was on time (actually a little earlier then expected) the day of the wedding which was great. She was very flexible with us throughout the planning process and was great about accommodating a change of time for the ceremony. She always got back to us quickly via email and sends you reminders about things you need to be doing to get ready such as filing for the marriage license. Compared to several other officiants I looked at, Beth's prices where very fair and actually less then the others. I would definitely recommend Beth if you are looking for an officiant for your wedding -

Beth Lackey is amazing!!! We were struggling to find an officiant at the last minute, and thankfully Beth came through on such short notice. Beth is super fast at responding to emails, she answered every question I had with professionalism and patience, especially me being the busy bride I was! We asked her to run our rehearsal and I'm so glad she did. We had 2 flower girls at the age of 4. It was a mystery if they would walk down the super long aisle or not. I was so nervous, but somehow Beth did her magic and convinced them! She told the it was their day, and it was the one day they were aloud to make a mess (speaking towards throwing flowers everywhere). The night of rehearsal they did it PERFECT!! We received so many compliments about how much our guests liked her and made rehearsal super easy. Beth allowed us to see every step of writing of our ceremony. I was aloud to edit it at any moment, and I loved that she added so many person touches. Beth found a reading about dogs since we are dog lovers and we received a lot of compliments about it. During our ceremony the microphone kept going out. Beth handled the situation with ease and professionalism! We don't have any complaints, she is definitely the real deal and super affordable!! Beth was an absolute rock star. We found her on craiglist and instantly knew we had found the right person for the job. She sent the first draft within 24 hours of receiving the deposit - everything was done electronically so it was SUPER easy and convenient. She even took her time to meet us face to face before the big day. She had lots of insights into other aspects of the wedding as well. Beth made sure we had all our paperwork in order and that we would know what to expect the day of, she also gave us her number and would answer almost immediately :)
Beth is a truly genuine and caring person, she wanted everything to be perfect for our day. We got so many compliments on her beautiful ceremony and she was INCREDIBLY flexible about last minute changes and rolling with the punches during the ceremony (it was outdoor so there were a couple unexpected speed bumps). We feel so lucky to have found her and am honored that she will forever be a part of memories and the beginning of our new lives!

Beth was very accommodating in performing the marriage ceremony with only one weeks notice. We had planned on just going to the courthouse to get married but not even one judge on the list they provided was available any time in the near future. I found Beth on Thumbtack and she suggested a couple outdoor locations for the small ceremony and what we could do if it rained. She was very friendly, helpful, and such a great person to have as part of our special day. I highly recommend hiring Beth for your big event. -

My husband and I wanted more of a nontraditional ceremony. He is more religious than I am but still didn't want it to be overly incorporated. What Beth sent us was not only beautiful but fit perfectly with what we were hoping for. We conversed mainly through email and she was always quick to respond, even after finishing our final draft.
Our venue changed and she was more than willing to accommodate as our time and date remained the same. She has an exceptionally warm and down to earth personality that eases your nerves on your big day. We will always be grateful that we found her and were able to book her. -

Justin (now my husband) is in the Navy, stationed in Spain & was on leave from Wednesday til Tuesday. I called the court house a month before he came home & thought I got all the right information & steps to getting marry but no one told me that it was required to make an appointment with a judge to finalize our marriage. It was new to us so it might sound silly but I honestly thought 3 days of applying for our marriage license that we went straight to court.
Monday, July 27th 2015 we went to pick up our licenses. Find out we need to make an appointment when I clearly asked for every step & detail before he came home. They gave us a sheet of court houses/judges you name it. I called everyone. We needed it done by Monday since his flight was early Tuesday morning.
Our friend Joey, went online to become an ordained minister but you have to call the county clerk & it was a pain. Wasn't til about almost 3pm we decided to just head to the court house with Joey & his wife Jessica to physically talk to the county clerk since they kept telling us to call back. Seeing as the court house closes at 4pm we rushed to get gas & Jessica found Beth! Called her got the info we needed & met in 20 mins.
She welcomed us into her home with such a loving, friendly, warm & kind personality that made you feel like she was a close friend to you. Beth did a wonderful job with doing our vows & for just meeting on the spot I never felt more comfortable as we said our "I do's"
As for pay it was only $50 but gave her $60! Very affordable in my opinion & definitely worth it. She really felt like a friend of mine & that made things much better.
The most interesting part about all this was that we were her 71st couple to marry. That number is the number of Justin's ship! Another little key note I'm a little over 7 months pregnant too. So you can imagine the stress was high.
Seriously Beth, THANK YOU SO MUCH! You truly were our miracle.
Only took 8 years to tie the knot!lol. Thank you! -

After waiting 15 years for this day to happen, my wife and I had our marriage license in hand, but were unable to find someone to officiate it, as it was a Tuesday evening. We were devastated. We found Beth on Craigslist and gave her a call. Even though it was late in the day, and on very short notice, she still did it for us. Beth was awesome! I contacted her only a month before my wedding. She was always prompt with communication and very flexible. We met with her once and she already had a first draft written up based on an online questionnaire that I had filled out the day before. She personalized our ceremony well and made sure we were on track with all our planning including the marriage license. She is highly recommended. -

With less than a 12 hour notice, Beth came to our home and conducted our wedding. She was prompt, professional, and prepared!

We were searching for an officiant on Wedding Wire and luckily came across Memorable Life Events. Beth Lackey was fantastic! Her correspondence was super quick. We gave Beth a slightly more challenging task of officiating an American ceremony mixed with a Persian ceremony. She was eager to learn about the Persian elements and was helpful in finding ways to transition between the two ceremonies. Guests have told us that this was definitely one of the more fun ceremonies that they have attended. We agree! -

Beth from the very beginning was so kind and so helpful. I felt a immediate connection with her. My husband and I are so happy to have had Beth officiate our wedding. She helped us with personalizing our vows making it a special experience just for us. Beth went out of her way to be sure we were happy. Beth was early for the ceremony and walked us through the process. Our guests really liked Beth, as well. My husband was really impressed and happy that I found Beth for us. Beth went far above our expectations in helping to officiate our wedding ceremony! She was very kind, calm, and gracious in my moments of panic. My wedding was planned in two weeks, and she was available for us in very short notice at an affordable price. Beth performed a wonderful license signing ceremony for us. From start to finish, she was most professional, friendly, and accommodating. She was very responsive and answered calls and emails immediately. Beth was an absolutely wonderful officiant for our wedding! The ceremony was completely customized for us and she included a very beautiful introduction about how we met around Christmas-time, which was why we chose a Christmas wedding. She was easy to work with and even kept us on track with where to apply for our marriage license. I gave her a call on the Wednesday before my wedding, and she came through for me and drove two to three hours north that Saturday for my wedding. Her pricing is phenomenal. She is very professional, and made the whole ceremony very heartfelt and personalized. I am so glad I had the opportunity to meet Beth, and her daughter, and that they were part of my wedding! -

I was very happy to have Beth as our officiant. She responded right away to my request as to several others but she stood out above the rest. Beth is amazing.
I hired Beth to officiate my wedding/handfasting because she was familiar with handfastings and had performed them before. When we first started communicating, I realized she was something spectacular.
Beth really cares about what she does. She is an absolute sweetheart, and very easy to work with, which put me right at ease. She was prompt with responses to any questions I had, and was receptive and encouraging to the additions and modifications I added to customize our ceremony. She has great attention to detail and is able to offer some very creative ideas!
As far as the ceremony itself, we were able to incorporate many different aspects from a wide variety of beliefs; everyone thought it was beautiful- people were emotionally moved (including my youngest son!), and everyone said Beth was very easy to follow and hear, even though my ceremony was outside and it was quite cold and windy! She was flexible when we made a last minute addition to the ceremony, and rolled with it when we kind of ad libbed some of our responses. She never lost the feel for the ceremony and its integrity, and she was just wonderful.
Beth is professional, compassionate, flexible, personable, a fantastic officiant and just an all around amazing person. I was so very impressed. I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a customized wedding, or any other service where you need someone who really puts people first. She really gets a feel for who the couple is, so your day is as special as you've always dreamed it could be. My day was even better than I had ever dreamed of!

Beth Lackey is everything you need for a ceremony on your special day! My first email, which was a date and price inquiry, was responded to within minutes. As well as every email or text message after that, right up until the morning of our wedding, when we decided not to write our own vows. I messaged her to let her know and she had an email sent to me, very quickly, with our other options.
She's incredible!
Full of suggestions, willing to help at any time that she can. She came early, was very prepared !
