  The absolute best!

  We couldn't have been happier with the string quartet's performance at our wedding. From the start, they were incredibly responsive and displayed the utmost professionalism. Their musical talents were absolutely amazing, filling our day with beautiful melodies.
  
  What truly set them apart was their vast repertoire of songs they could play. It was this impressive selection that initially drew us to them. When we requested a unique song, the Succession theme song, they exceeded all expectations.
  
  The quartet brought a unique and captivating ambiance to our special day, elevating it to another level. Their contribution added a touch of magic that we will always cherish and remember fondly. We couldn't have asked for a better musical experience, and we're immensely grateful for their part in making our day truly exceptional.

  A Unique and Awesome Touch

  They are simply fantastic! They have a wide variety of songs that they play, and were a perfect touch for our ceremony and cocktail hour. We had many people come up to us to say how much they enjoyed it and how good they were.

  A Truly Elegant and Memorable Experience

  Having a string quartet was top priority for us and we booked Melodious Strings the very day we secured the venue.
  
  Kate was wonderful and very easy to work with. Couples can ask for suggestions based on a preferred style/genre or they can be very hands on and detailed with music, down to the exact play order and even specific timings for cues.
  
  We selected 10+ songs from their extensive song repertoire for our prelude, processional, and recessional/postlude ranging from wedding classics to movie/TV scores like the Mandalorian Theme! In addition, we requested two custom arrangements (included in our package) for the Winnie the Pooh theme and a very special selection from the 1994 Little Women Soundtrack for our unity planting.

  Perfect Music for the Perfect Wedding!

  A trio from Melodious Strings provided the music for my daughter's wedding ceremony in June, and it was perfect in every way. They have hundreds of songs to choose from! Our selections ranged from Beethoven to Taylor Swift. Kate Hummel, the director, was easily available to help us with our planning. I would highly recommend Melodious Strings!

  Kate was so easy to deal with and so helpful. We had a backyard wedding and had no clue what music to pick. They made terrific recommendations, showed up on time and were seamless to deal with. Would recommend them to anyone needing beautiful music for a special occasion.

  Melodious Strings Were the Highlight of Cocktail Hour

  Kate Hummel and Melodious Strings played during our ceremony and cocktail hour and they were incredible. Everyone enjoyed their wide repertoire of pieces they could play and it was a smashing success. Would recommend ten times over.

  The perfect touch to our wedding!

  We were BEYOND satisfied with Melodious Strings' services - they made our day exactly what we wanted; we received so many compliments about how talented and special they were. They were accommodating with the new-song requests we had, but every song was so beautiful and set the mood for a fun and relaxed wedding day. Cannot recommend them enough!

  Kate and the Melodious Strings team were a dream to work with. We had so much fun working with Kate to pick out a customized ceremony and cocktail hour playlist -- their repertoire of pop songs is so extensive, and they have beautiful compositions! They did an incredible job with our ceremony music and were so easy to work with to put it all together. Great team!

  Highly recommend Melodious Strings, especially if you love quartet covers of soundtrack or pop music. Very easy to coordinate with and a great selection of music. Although the wedding and reception was a blur, I specifically remember some of my guests applauding at the end of Eye of the Tiger due to our mutual love of the Rocky franchise. Melodious Strings also custom learned my aisle walk song, which made the wedding unique to me. My biggest regret was that I had to be the bride and missed out on just taking in the music.

  Melodious Strings provided us with a string trio for our wedding ceremony. They played intro music as the guests were seated and all the music needed for the ceremony itself. My wife and I were extremely happy with their services. They played beautifully and their music set a beautiful tone for the ceremony. They were also extremely pleasant to work with, very helpful and very responsive. They are priced extremely well and are highly recommended.

  We would recommend Katherine and her team to anyone! They were fantastic. Easy to communicate with, helped us pick a great playlist and they performed beautifully at our wedding. It felt so special to walk down the aisle to a custom song that meant so much to my husband and me. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

We were able to keep it a little more traditional for the ceremony and then had all new(er) age music for the cocktail hour. They were very responsive to communication and made you feel at ease knowing that they would do their job perfectly. They sounded great and gave a light and relaxed feeling to the day leading up to reception. Their music will remind us of the emotions connected to our day. We highly recommend them for your wedding day!

  Working with Katherine and her team at Melodious Strings was wonderful! We were a bit tricky being an international couple and having to reschedule due to restrictions but Katherine was so understanding of everything. The process was really enjoyable, easy, and their repertoire list is incredible. It was the most beautiful soundtrack to our day with music during welcome drinks, before/during/after the ceremony, and all through cocktail hour. The music for the ceremony had everyone feeling all the good emotions - it was so perfect. A truly professional, incredibly talented team that went above and beyond for us!

  I had the honor of officiating a wedding this weekend and working with Kate and Melodious Strings was wonderful. I was contacted the week before the service to go over when breaks should be taken for announcements, etc. Those small details are so important to the flow of the service and are not overlooked by Kate.
  The quality of sound and obvious joy that Melodious Strings brought to this event made the occasion that much more special. Thank you for sharing your gifts and talents with us this weekend!

  Simply Amazing

  Kate and Micheal performed for my engagement proposal. Kate was very easy to communicate with. I told her what I was looking for in the music and she produced an awesome playlist. I really enjoyed them playing for us. I hope to hire them again for my wedding day.

  Marine Wedding at a Quiet Chapel

  We had our wedding at the Semper Fi chapel at the National Museum of the Marine Corps and the music in this space was amazing. The violinist was skilled, professional, and helpful. Additionally, she was very flexible... a last minute hiccup during the ceremony was gracefully managed by her as she seamlessly transitioned from one song to another so that the guests were completely unaware. We were very happy with her performance and would definitely recommend her to anyone!

They have a large variety of songs that they can perform, and can learn special songs for your special day! We received so many compliments, and couldn't have asked for more beautiful music for a beautiful day!

They are so talented and have a wide range of songs that they can perform. We got to choose from a huge list of songs for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Melodious Strings will even learn new songs for your wedding as well! This was one of our absolute favorite parts of our wedding day! We loved them!! We would highly recommend Melodious Strings!
