Excellent DJ Service

DJ Rob did a phenomenal job DJ’ing our wedding. He is a very personable guy, a natural MC, and knows how to keep people out on the floor all night. He’ll create the best playlist for your tastes and make you feel at ease the entire time. Everyone complimented him as our DJ and how perfect the wedding was. I’d recommend him over anyone else

Amazing!!!

Rob did an amazing job, kept people on the dance floor all night and kept it entertaining! He did a great job introducing the wedding party and working with all other vendors to keep things flowing well! Highly recommend!

Outstanding service

To start the ceremony and reception were at the same location. I was nervous about ceremony music with the songs being a lot longer than normal but Rob made it sound amazing! In between the ceremony and reception Rob came up to my husband and I and asked if he could get us drinks, which was unexpected and just genuinely thoughtful! He even goes the extra step to pronounce every name in the wedding party correctly! Amazing!

DJ and Photo booth

Rob has DJ’d for us in the past so we had to have him for our wedding. He was awesome!! He kept things going smoothly, had fun with our games, and was constantly checking with us throughout the night. We also got the Photobooth which everybody loved. We got the personalized book with copies of all the photos and it was very nice. Our guests really enjoyed the evening because of Rob and his team.

Wonderful Experience

Very professional from the beginning of the contract to the day of the wedding. Easy to contact. They provide an online form where you can add any songs, any details about your reception, any traditions or any other information. Our DJ make the night very special, he entertained our folks the whole night with many fun games and songs. Great experience!

Dj rob is amazing!

DJ Rob did an amazing job at our wedding! All of our guests said that the music was super fun and had a great time! We like heavy metal and Rob played an hour or so of our music, it was so cool! I'm not sure if another DJ would have played Slipknot at a wedding! :) They also work directly with an officiant - Deb - so I was able to book two in one, and we didn't have to worry about having a mic for our officiant - it was so easy!! Melodies N Mayhem is a wonderful DJ Service - snatch them up while you can!!

Fun, Responsive, and Accommodating

Rob and his team were great to work with! They were very responsive and also accommodating when we asked for songs (or parts of songs) that weren't in their song library already.

They provided the sound for both our ceremony and our reception and both sounded great! The ceremony was outside and we had absolutely no problems hearing the music or what was being said.

They arrived and were set up on time and made sure they were available whenever we needed them, checking in with both of us throughout the evening to see if there were any other songs that we wanted played or if there's anything else they could do to make our night better.

We also had a photobooth through them and it was great! We love the guest book that we got from the photobooth and the photos that we got from it are amazingly fun.

We had the pleasure of having two DJ's on our Wedding day, Rob (the owner) and Chris. Let me just start out by saying that Rob is one of the sweetest and most caring people you will ever meet. You can tell that he really cares for the couples that he works with. I've always said that a DJ is one of the most important parts of a Reception, and they will make or break it for you. Rob brought it, and then some! He got along great with all of our guests, was joking around with everyone and has such a large personality that he is perfect at what he does. He made sure to check in with me personally throughout the night to see if I needed anything, and made our Reception amazing! We also had them for our outdoor ceremony. Everything was set up and ready to go before I even arrived. The music was timed perfectly, we had a mic so everyone could hear us, and it was all done so smooth.
Anyone who is looking for a DJ needs to hire these guys! They were my dream DJ's, and are worth every penny that they charge and more!

Very accommodating! Our DJ kept the party going, and knew when to play the right songs at the right time for optimal participation. The dance floor was packed the whole night. The music wasn't too loud or too quiet. He kept the music going. He didn't stop to narrate or introduce songs, which I appreciate. He made sure our photographer and family were ready before starting any of the cake cutting or special dances. No one missed a thing! He took care of everything. At one point a member of our bridal party was late for the grand match. Our DJ entertained the bridal party with magic tricks while we waited behind the scenes. This guy is top notch. He really does everything he can to give you an awesome party and great experience. Price was very reasonable, too. We highly recommend Melodies 'n Mayhem.

I found Rob by a random email and I couldn't have found a better dj. He was found as a last minute thing. He did everything I could have asked for and more. I couldn't have asked for a better dj. If you want the BEST dj in the area come find Rob.

We had Rob as our DJ and also used the photobooth. Everything was awesome! Many of our guests said that ours was the best wedding they had been to. Rob continually checked in on my husband and I throughout the night to see how we are doing and if we needed anything. I truly appreciated the scrapbook of all the photobooth pictures as well as the framed picture of my husband and I. Thank you SO much!

Very easy to work with. Once we set up the consultation and got everything rolling it was easy to go online and set everything up through the tools available. We were able to pretty much use any songs and they found them for us. The DJ's sent out to the wedding were easy to work with and made everything flow. They checked with me a couple of times to make sure there wasn't anything else I wanted to hear. The dance floor had people on it until the last song played. They were a lot of fun and having the photo booth there was an added bonus for a lot of people and I love the book we received afterwards with all of the pictures in it. Thanks guys, you did great!

Rob went above and beyond what my husband and I expected for our big day. He even did non-DJ duties like find the cake cutting utensils and my tossing bouquet. He was hands down amazing and a great personality that kept the crowd dancing up until midnight! He even has an online payment and music selection option which was very helpful and convenient.

We hired his recommended officiant Deb, she was absolutely amazing there was not a dry eye in the room during our ceremony because of Debs beautiful vows that she wrote for my husband and I based on our questionnaire we filled out before the ceremony.Would HIGHLY recommend him and Deb!

Rob did an AMAZING JOB!!! We were so happy we had booked him for our wedding! He was very well prepared, easy to talk to, and very accommodating to what we were looking for. Some examples of how Rob was accommodating was I wanted to play the "shoe game" (questions to ask the couple about each other). He surprised me when he came up with the questions for us and bought my husband some flip flops to use- was very thankful to check that off my list. Another was I wanted to have a "surprise dance" with my bridesmaids and he was working with us to make it spectacular. We were very thankful to have such AMAZING DJ's - our family was dancing ALL night and we had nothing but compliments.- Thanks Rob and Matt!

Rob was very willing to work with us so that our day was unique to us. At the reception he checked in with us.multiple times to make sure we we happy and that we knew what was comming next on the schedule we decided upon.

We had MelodiesnMayhem provide all of the music for our wedding. They did the ceremony, dinner, and reception music and also provided up-lighting and a photo booth. They met with us prior to the event to get an idea of what we were looking for and I really appreciated that! We were able to pick our own template for the photo booth and they provided all kinds of props - the guests LOVED it! Not only did we get a lovely photo booth book at the end of the night, we received a USB drive with all the pictures taken that night - both the finished photo booth template as well as the full-sized pictures of each shot taken. It was awesome.

My only suggestion would be to mark songs on your playlist that are a must play. We had assumed the songs we selected on our music list would be played and several of my all-time favorite songs never were. We also offered the suggestion of a "last call" announcement for the photo booth so people would have one last chance to get their pictures taken before the end of the night.

Melodies n mayhem was wonderful for our wedding! The music selection was perfect! And our guests stayed out on the dance floor the whole night!!! They were extremely professional, organized and made the evening so fun!

Beyond happy with Rob. His online request and event timeline are very easy to do to make my day exactly how I wanted it to be. During the wedding everything went very smoothly. Very flexible with music as he had to go out of his way to find music for my Latin weddng. From planning to ceremony music to dinner and dance music, Rob gets an A+! Couldn't have asked for a better party.

Rob and his team were fantastic! We planned our wedding in just 7 days! Rob has an easy to use system to make song selections. He is also incredibly responsive! In addition to outstanding DJ services that kept our guests moving all night long, Mr Photobooth was a huge success. Our guests were able to take a photo with them that night, take an additional copy and create a scrapbook page for us! The handed us the completely scrapbook that evening! We have looked at it many times. This was the best experience! Rob and his team are focused on their customers and do whatever it takes to ensure a great and memorable evening!

I truly enjoyed working With Rob at Melodies n Mayhem!! He is an absolute sweetheart and a professional to-boot! Kind, friendly, and very flexible, Rob and the crew took all of my needs seriously. We had several meetings to make sure all the music was just perfect. He accommodated my wedding with an outdoor set- up ( as our wedding was outdoors), and quickly and professionally set up for the DJ-ing inside for dancing at our venue.

He DJ'd my wedding with ease. My entire family enjoyed all the music he played, all family- friendly music, took requests and played each request shortly there after. Wore a smile on his face and made all my guests feel welcome. We had an amazing time!

I would highly recommended Rob and Melodies and Mayhem for ANY event! they are professional, down to earth, and serious about meeting your needs with ease!

DJ Rob was Fantastic

DJ Rob did a phenomenal job at our wedding, we had a few non traditional requests that he was happy to accommodate. He was set up on time, did a great job announcing the wedding party and events and was fantastic at keeping us on schedule. When it was time to party he had people out dancing all night long. Could not be any happier with his services. Will definitely be recommending Meldodies n Mayhem to anyone looking for wedding DJ's

We hired MelodiesnMayhem for our photobooth. I didn't know they start after the first dance. I had planed to do my first dance a little later but after knowing this I had to change it. Overall it was good, the staff was super friendly and the made a scrap book for us. Im glad we decide to spend a little extra money on having a photobooth, they did a good job. They made a online photo album protect it with a password, the only problem I have its that I cant get in. Hope to hear a respond from them soon.

Worst vendor experience ever!

The photobooth attendant showed up 3 hours late based on the emails we communicated with her on the weeks leading up to the wedding. She was snippy with our DJ and rude to our guests based on feedback we received from multiple people. At one point, probably for at least a good 20 mins, I couldn't find her... and I, the bride, started running the booth for my guests! My now husband also had to do the same thing at some points. It was like she set up, ran it for an hour and then was no where to be found until clean up time (which she also packed up an hour early based on our email discussions). DO NOT BOOK THEM! Compared to our other wedding vendors, they were by far THE WORST company to work with before, during and after the wedding. Their unprofessional responses after we expressed our concerns after the wedding was the last straw for us.

Read before booking services

This is the first public review I have left in my life. I usually just do the star ratings, however, with our experience with Robert and his staff I feel the need to share.

First - staff showed up 2.5 hours late. It was established with Tracie the “booth manager” that she would show up before our cocktail hour. After numerous phone calls we finally got her there mid dinner and setting up DURING the speeches. When asked why they showed up late the response was “we didn’t receive a set up time” with us 100% false seeing how we have the emails and responses from then stating otherwise.

2nd - quality of service
A) - We have received multiple, MULTIPLE responses from not only our DJ, but our GUESTS, that Tracie was rude and snappy at them. This is completely unacceptable.
B) - There were also numerous amount of times where an attendant was not present at the photo booth and unable to be found . This left myself, my bride, and other guests to operate the booth and set up the picture book throughout the night ourselves. This blew my mind. We paid for a service that we were not responsible for operating. This is something we should have NOT had to worry about at all. Tracie's email states "an attendant will be at the booth at all times". This was clearly false.
C) - we were contracted to have the booth run til 11 PM and they closed it down at 10PM. A full hour of service paid for was just ignored.

Lastly, Roberts response to all of this was “we give no refunds and we will learn from this.” If you read any reviews lower than 3 stars that is his only response. Looking at the reviews his company has been around for 6+ years. Where is the learning curve? He doesn’t seem to care about his clientele at all. I would strongly avoid booking and services with this company. Our other vendors were absolutely amazing. Robert and his company really, for lack of better wording, sucked.
